2010 World's End "Wavelength-Sugarload Mountain" Napa Valley Red Wine
Bid on this bottle of 2010 World's End "Wavelength-Sugarload Mountain" Napa Valley Red Wine (95RP, 92ST, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Wavelength Proprietary Red is an intriguing blend of 65% Syrah and 35% Cabernet Franc. Its saturated purple color is followed by aromas of flowers, blueberries, blackberries, forest floor and spice. The wine hits the mouth with medium to full body, glorious fruit, sensational purity, wonderful texture and length, and a finish that lasts 40-45 seconds. Usually blending Cabernet Franc and Syrah together would not be a high priority on most winemaker’s agenda, but Maltus marches to the beat of a different drummer and clearly has something special on his hands. This is a brilliant Syrah that should evolve for at least a decade. (RP)"

1996 Clos de l'Oratoire, St-Emilion
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1996 Clos de l'Oratoire, St-Emilion (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Proprietor Comte de Neipperg is doing everything possible to elevate this estate's reputation. Readers should take note as prices are sure to rise once the world discovers just how sumptuous recent vintages of Clos de l'Oratoire have been. The 1996 is even better out of bottle than it was from cask. The wine boasts an opaque plum/purple color. Intense aromas of Asian spices, espresso, roasted meats, and sweet, exotic cedar and blackberry fruit soar from the glass of this exotic, ostentatiously-styled St.-Emilion. It is medium to full-bodied, with moderate tannin, a sweet mid-palate (always a good sign), and a dense, concentrated, long, powerful finish. (RP)" (04/1999)

2001 Casa Lapostolle "Clos Apalta" Colchagua Valley
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Casa Lapostolle "Clos Apalta" Colchagua Valley (95WS, 90RP). 95 points, 'Highly Recommended' and ranked #2 on Wine Spectator's Top 100 of 2004: "Stunning purity, with concentrated plum, boysenberry and raspberry fruit that just glides across the palate, buttressed by superfine yet muscular tannins. Suave toast, coconut butter and spice notes along with alluring chocolate and black tea hints chime in on the long finish. A superb combination of fruit and elegance." (04/04) 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Clos Apalta luxury cuvee, primarily based on an old vine, non-irrigated Carmenere parcel, remains one of Chile’s standard-bearers. 2011 Cayuse "Flying Pig" Walla Walla Valley Proprietary Red
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Cayuse "Flying Pig" Walla Walla Valley Proprietary Red (95RP, 94WE, 92ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A Merlot-dominated blend, the 2011 Flying Pig checks in as 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon that spent 12 months in 50% new French oak before being moved to large oak puncheons. Deep-ruby in color, it has beautiful cassis, plum, licorice, olive tapenade and lead pencil shaving-like aromas and flavors that give way to a full-bodied, layered and concentrated 2011 that has beautifully integrated oak, plenty of mid-palate and a terrific finish.
