1991 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 1991 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 98AG, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " An extraordinary dense plum/purple color is followed by a seductive as well as explosive bouquet of white chocolate, creme de cassis, spring flowers, licorice and a touch of graphite. This full-bodied, opulent 1991 reveals a flawless integration of acidity, tannin, wood and alcohol. Magnificent in the mouth with an opulent and voluptuous texture, and not a hard edge to be found, it reveals mindboggling purity and vigor. This sensational Insignia can be enjoyed over the next 10-15+ years. (RP)" (11/2013)

Wine Enthusiast writes: "Defines the Pride Cabernet style of big, rich, ripely extracted fruit, significant oak and dense mountain tannins. Harder to describe is just how dramatic the wine feels in the mouth. Offers black currant, cassis liqueur and dark chocolate flavors subtlely tinged with herbs and tannins." (10/2013)

2010 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Réservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Réservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98RP, 97WS, 94ST, 93W&S, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Looking at the 2010s and a brilliant vintage for Laurence, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape offers up classic Pegau aromas and flavors of ripe dark fruits, garrigue, cured meats, tobacco leaf, saddle leather and hints of game. Full-bodied and beautifully concentrated, it offers a seamless, layered profile on the palate with thrilling mid-palate depth, sweet, yet substantial tannin, and a blockbuster finish that stays fresh and beautifully focused. Quite polished by this estates standards, it nevertheless screams southern France and I doubt it’s possible to have too much of this beauty in the cellar. It will absolutely thrill over the coming 2-3 decades. (JD)" (10/2013)

2007 Domaine Charvin Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2007 Domaine Charvin Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L) (97RP, (92-95ST), 95WS). 97 points Robert Parker: "I believe the 2007 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the finest wine ever made at Charvin. Their wines never achieve a lot of color, but this is one of the most saturated ones they have produced. The blend from the 45- to 50-year-old vines is 85% Grenache and the rest equal parts Syrah, Mourvedre, and Vaccarese, all aged in cement tanks prior to being bottled unfiltered. A terrific nose of kirsch, lavender, licorice, forest floor, and spice box soars from the glass of this full-bodied effort. With fabulous density, a multidimensional mouthfeel, and a 45+-second finish this brilliant, elegant, feminine-styled wine is loaded with concentration and intensity. Like many 2007 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the extraordinary fruit level makes it hard to resist. However, it will be even better in 3-5 years, and should last for 15-20." 2005 Pax "Walker Vine Hill" Russian River Valley Syrah
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Pax "Walker Vine Hill" Russian River Valley Syrah (94RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another Russian River vineyard, the 2005 Syrah Walker Vine Hill, which creeps up toward 15% alcohol, is 100% Syrah, with beautiful blackberry, white chocolate, and blueberry notes intermixed with some graphite and lavender. The wine is full-bodied, almost inky in the mouth, with sensational richness, voluptuous texture, and a stunningly long finish. This is a brilliant Syrah to drink over the next decade or more." 2009 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 95WS, 94ST, 92JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Broken Stones is sourced from all of the estate’s vineyards, which in this vintage includes Padereweski fruit for the first time, although most of the fruit was sourced from James Berry. Today it comes across as rather tightly wound and implosive, although with air the wine’s potential becomes more evident. Dark cherries, licorice and smoke wrap around the intense finish. Floral notes add the final layers of complexity and nuance. This is another fabulous effort. In 2009 the blend is 60% Syrah, 20% Mourvedre, 12% Petite Sirah and 8% Grenache. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2021. (AG)" (09/2011)

2011 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC)
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 94AG, 90RP) in original wood. Antonio Galloni: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon M. Etain is fabulous. Dark raspberries, flowers, tobacco, mint and rose petals all meld together in a long, soulful wine loaded with personality. Today the tannins are a bit firm, but that should not be an issue in another few years, once the wine has come together a little more fully. Today the 2011 M. Etain is absolutely singing. That is a second wine is virtually incomprehensible. " (11/2013)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Paul Lato "Hilliard Bruce Vineyard/Alegria" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (94RP, 92AG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aged in 70% new French oak, the 2011 Pinot Noir Alegria Hilliard Bruce Vineyard delivers a full, fleshy profile of sweet strawberries, wild flowers, incense and dried underbrush to go with a rich, mouth-filling texture, beautifully layered fruit and a clean, elegant finish. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Cayuse "Camaspelo" Walla Walla Valley Proprietary Red (OWC - (94-97RP)) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Incorporating 16% Merlot, the Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated 2012 Camaspelo exhibits ripe black cherry, cassis, lead pencil shavings, toast and notable minerality in its full-bodied, gorgeously concentrated personality. Showing more meatiness with air, this is a structured 2012 that has serious mid-palate depth, high, yet sweet, tannin and a blockbuster finish. It will be a longer-term prospect than most of Christophe’s 2012s. " (06/2014)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Peter Michael "Ma Danseuse" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir ((92-94RP), 92AG, 92ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " The more mortal 2011 Pinot Noir Ma Danseuse exhibits sweet notes of raspberry jam, currants, camphor and powdered rock. This attractive, elegant, medium to full-bodied 2011 is more evolved and fruit-forward than the 2009 or the perfect 2010. The 2011 will drink well for 8-12 years. (RP)" (12/2013)

It is already showing incredible minerality along with notes of white peach, pineapple, oily citrus, apple blossom and lemon oil. This multidimensional, full-bodied, sensational Chardonnay should drink well for 10+ years. (RP)" (12/2014)

Wine Spectator: "**Collectibles** This extremely dense red delivers layers of melted fig, mulled boysenberry and black currant fruit, all laced with notes of charred mesquite, hoisin sauce and Kenya AA coffee. The long, silky mouthfeel belies the latent power in reserve and there's a lot of it, with waves of grip driving the finish. Best from 2010 through 2030." (12/2009)

Shafer' 2004 Hillside Select is tremendous as a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that competes with its peers at the highest levels... This 100% Cabernet is tremendous in cassis, black currant and mocha flavors, and the 100% new French oak provides perfect additions of smoke and caramel. 1996 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien
Bid on this bottle of 1996 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien (92RP, 92ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This impressive wine is a classic. Although backward, it exhibits a dense ruby/purple color in addition to abundant black currant fruit intertwined with spicy oak and truffle-like scents. The wine is brilliantly made, full-bodied, and tightly-structured with plenty of muscle and outstanding concentration and purity. It should turn out to be a long-lived Leoville Barton, and somewhat of a sleeper. However, patience will be required. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2030. (RP)" (04/1999)

1990 d'Yquem, Sauternes (375ml)
Bid on this 2-half-bottle lot of 1990 d'Yquem, Sauternes (375ml) (99RP, 95WS, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An extraordinary effort, Yquem's 1990 is a rich and fabulously superb, sweet wine. This wine also possesses lots of elegance and finesse. The wine's medium gold color is accompanied by an exceptionally sweet nose of honeyed tropical fruits, peaches, coconut, and apricots. High quality, subtle toasty oak is well-integrated. The wine is massive on the palate, with layers of intensely ripe botrytis-tinged, exceptionally sweet fruit. Surprisingly well-integrated acidity, and a seamless, full-bodied power and richness have created a wine of remarkable harmony and purity. Certainly it is one of the richest Yquems I have ever tasted, with 50-100 years of potential longevity. An awesome Yquem! Anticipated maturity: 2003-2050+." (04/1999)

Wine Enthusiast: "Representing a breathtaking advancement over the ’07, Sinatra’s 2008 Cab is simply delicious. It’s fleshy and fat in texture, with a glyceriney richness that makes it almost oily and that, when combined with caramelized oak, turns into nougat. The blackberry, cherry and cassis fruit flavors rise to the occasion. This is truly a stunningly good Cabernet." (03/2011)

2005 Palmer, Margaux
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Palmer, Margaux (97RP, 96WE, 95WS, 94JS, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This spectacular offering should continue to improve, and may merit an even higher score after additional aging. Stunningly rich and powerful, the dark purple-tinged 2005 Palmer is a blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 7% Petit Verdot. Aromas of incense, burning embers, black currants, plums, licorice, and flowers are followed by a full-bodied Margaux with more weight and power even than its nearby first-growth rival, Chateau Margaux. The abundant acidity and tannins are beautifully coated by the wine’s exceptional fruit extract and overall harmony and richness. 1986 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this bottle of 1986 Margaux, Margaux (98AG, 98RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A magnificent example of Chateau Margaux and one of the most tannic, backward Margauxs of the last 50 years, the 1986 continues to evolve at a glacial pace. The color is still a dense ruby/purple with just a hint of lightening at the rim. With several hours of aeration, the aromatics become striking, with notes of smoke, toast, creme de cassis, mineral, and white flowers. Very full-bodied, with high but sweet tannin, great purity, and a very masculine, full-bodied style, this wine should prove nearly immortal in terms of its aging potential. It is beginning to budge from its infantile stage and approach adolescence. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2050. Last tasted, 12/02. (RP)" (01/2003)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (98RP, 97JS, 96WE, 96WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Performing even better from bottle than it did from barrel, this appears to be the finest Lynch Bages since the 2000, 1990 and 1989. According to the chateau, the 2009 has the highest level of polyphenols ever measured as well as high alcohol (nearly 13.5%). A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest largely Merlot with touches of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it is an expressive, voluptuously textured effort with unctuosity and powerful, juicy, succulent blackberry and black currant flavors, low acids, a layered, massive mouthfeel, but no sense of heaviness or fatigue. Bid on this bottle of 1989 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien (90WS). 90 points Wine Spectator: "...Outstanding. Dark ruby-colored center, verging on purple. Superripe aromas of cassis, berry and mint. Full-bodied, very sleek, with fine tannins and a long, long, caressing finish." (03/99) From Robert Parker: "This wine has a dark ruby color, sweet notes of cola, black currants, earth, herbs, and vanilla. The wine is medium-bodied, with some noticeable tough tannin and a lean, angular finish." (01/03) 95 points Neal Martin: "A deeper colour compared to the ’88 Poyferre with more maturity on the rim. But it has a glorious nose that leaps from the glass: raspberry, sea salt, a touch of game and dried blood all with marvellous definition. The palate is full-bodied, layers of black fruits laced with tobacco, well-judged acidity with a dense, slightly gamey, brambly finish with great persistency and vigour. 1990 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1990 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (94ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright red with a pale rim. Knockout nose of aromatic herbs, strawberry, sweet spices and acacia flower; yet another wine strongly marked by its Cabernet Franc presence. Fresh and vibrant, this absolutely dances on the palate with strawberry, sour red cherry and raspberry flavors complicated by gunflint and herbs. High acidity provides great clarity and cut to the long, floral, smoothly tannic finish. This has improved considerably with bottle age. Harvested from September 18 through October 3, this Mouton offers amazing balance and fragrance. In 1990 Mouton was still using a heavy toast for its barriques, which resulted in a smoky quality in the wines that was considered by many to be just as typical of Mouton as its opulence." Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Descendientes de Jose Palacios "Las Lamas" Corullon Bierzo (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Corullon Las Lamas is sourced from an exceptionally steep vineyard at over 2100 feet elevation and aged in 100% new oak. Aromas of sandalwood, exotic spices, mineral, black cherry, and black raspberry lead to a layered, plush wine with exceptional depth and elegance. Give it 3-4 years to fill out and drink it through 2023 if not longer. Descendientes de Jose Palacios was founded in 1998 by Alvaro Palacios and Ricardo Perez. The estate has steep hillside vineyards ranging in age from 60-100 years planted to 100% Mencia, the indigenous grape of cool-climate Bierzo. 1986 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan
Bid on this bottle of 1986 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The wine is still youthful, quite pure, medium to full-bodied, but somewhat elevated, austere tannins in the finish at age 16 are starting to make me think they will never become fully integrated. As always, making a judgment call on a wine destined to have a half-century of life is sometimes difficult, given the varying stages it goes through, but I wonder if this wine will turn out to be as profound as I once predicted. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2030." (01/2003)

1993 Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1993 Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Pauillac. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Grand-Puy-Lacoste is the drinker's Pauillac. It is not an investment wine (having been largely forgotten by the trophy hunters and investors looking to make a quick buck), although certain vintages (1982 and 1990) have tripled in price. Grand-Puy-Lacoste, usually loaded with character and personality, has enjoyed three fine vintages in 1993-95, with each of these years under-priced for such quality. This dark ruby/purple-colored wine offers a fragrant weedy, cassis, and tobacco-scented nose as well as a sexy combination of rich cassis fruit and glycerin. Medium to full-bodied, with low acidity, excellent ripeness, and a luscious mouthfeel, this is a delicious, hedonistic style of Grand-Puy-Lacoste for drinking over the next 7-8 years. " (02/1997)

Evolves to tar and asphalt. Really held back, yet powerful grip slaps you. This is mind-blowing in texture. The greatest Dow ever made. Best after 2022." (05/2010)

Fragrant aromas of dried cranberries, prunes, cinnamon and cumin giving way to subtler earthy notes of leather and tar. A lot of discernable fruit remains on the palate framed by crisp acidity and a medium level of grainy tannins. Very long, layered finish. (LPB)" (07/2009)

2004 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (97ST, 97WE, 94JS, 94WS, 93RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep ruby-red. Captivatingly intense yet refined aromas of ripe red cherry, mint, smoke and black truffle, complicated by lovely mineral and floral elements. Ripe, rich and velvety on entry, then concentrated in the middle, with flavors of red cherry, cassis, spices, bay leaf, dark chocolate and espresso. Amazingly well balanced and fresh wine, with sound, bright acids supplying wonderful lift and precision and smooth, noble tannins adding considerable power and grace. The finish goes on for minutes, highlighted by an enchanting floral-mineral quality; in my experience, the appearance of this strong floral component (in the absence of herbal or peppery aromas and flavors more typical of lesser vintages) at this early stage of development is typical of the greatest versions of Sassicaia. One of the top dozen Sassicaia bottlings ever." (01/2011

1997 Tertre Roteboeuf, St-Emilion
Bid on this bottle of 1997 Tertre Roteboeuf, St-Emilion ((91-92ST)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright ruby-red. Explosive aromas of red cherry, roasted coffee and oak spice. Big, sweet and lush, with an eau de vie-like ripeness; voluptuous but not heavy. Offers distinct notes of roasted grapes. Low in acid and high in alcohol. Finishes with fat, sweet tannins. 'Un gateau,' says Mitjavile, who feels that this wine has the density to last well, and 'to explode over a wide spectrum of aromas for many years.'" (05/1999)

2006 Futo Oakville Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Futo Oakville Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Futo (75% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot) exhibits a deep ruby/blue/purple color, a flawless integration of tannin, acidity, wood, and alcohol, and gorgeous opulence. While Futo is situated on western hillsides overlooking Oakville, it displays a style that has more in common with the purity and elegance found in Screaming Eagle, which is a few miles to the east, on the valley floor. This beautiful 2006 is a resounding success for this vintage, which had some issues with rustic tannins. It should drink well for 15+ years. This new, tiny operation, with a beautiful vineyard overseen by David Abreu, and Mark Aubert making the wines, had its debut release in 2004, followed by a brilliant 2005." (12/2008)

2010 Bryant Family "DB4" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Bryant Family "DB4" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 DB4 is insanely beautiful. Crushed rocks, plums, cinnamon and licorice jump from the glass from this striking, delineated wine. In 2010, the DB4 has a level of pure energy and vibrancy that is missing in the 2009, most likely because it also includes declassified lots from the Bettina. This is a great showing from Don Bryant and his team. In most cellars, the DB4 would be the top wine, but here it is the second label. (AG)" (12/2012)

2007 Bodegas El Nido "El Nido" Jumilla
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Bodegas El Nido "El Nido" Jumilla (96RP, 95ST, 94WS, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Its stable-mate, the 2007 El Nido, is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Monastrell from the same vineyard sites and it received the same elevage. It, too, has a splendid, nearly ethereal perfume, a full-bodied, voluptuous personality, and unrestrained power. It is a bit more structured than the Clio bottling and will offer a drinking window extending from 2013 to 2025, perhaps longer although these wines have no track record of longevity. Bid on this magnum of 2012 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 1.5L (93WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Named after the famed vineyard’s south-facing slopes, this vintage is expertly crafted, with aromas of ripe red cherry, sandalwood, black pepper, graphite, purple flowers and damp pine needles. It’s complex, with dark red fruit and tickling cardamom spice set against fine-grained tannins. Quite precise and tight now, the violet and rose petal elements will expand…" (04/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2004 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Clos St. Jacques" VV (92ST, 91BH). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good full red. Reticent but ripe nose is a bit more animal and less floral than usual for this vineyard. Then denser and sweeter on the palate than the nose suggests, with a chewy texture and impressive palate coverage. Very sappy, concentrated and suave, with dark cherry and mineral flavors currently in the deep background. But this offers terrific breadth for the vintage, and the tannins are fine." (04/2007)

1995 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Musigny Grand Cru "Vieilles Vignes"
Bid on this bottle of 1995 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Musigny Grand Cru "Vieilles Vignes" ((93-96RP), 96ST, 91BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the greatest wines of the vintage, Vogue's Musigny Vieilles Vignes, reminded me of Chateau Margaux at its best: an iron fist in a velvet glove. How anything can be this massive, powerful, and robust and yet be strikingly elegant and refined. Possessing a dark ruby color and an amazingly spicy, floral (roses) and black fruit-filled nose, this stupendous Burgundy has a thick, almost viscous, velvety texture, with copious quantities of fat, chewy, red berries. Surprisingly, the fruit almost tastes stewed yet is perfectly and clearly delineated. Complex, intensely deep and buttressed with huge but ripe tannins, this wine should be at its plateau of maturity between 2006 and 2016. Bravo! (PR)" (06/1997)
