Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Cantemerle, Haut-Médoc (94JS, 94RP, 92WE, 91WS, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The wine needs a good 7-10 years of cellaring and should keep for 30 more years, but this is the finest Cantemerle I have encountered in my professional career of tasting young vintages (dating back 34 years now). Stunningly deep ruby/purple, with a beautiful nose of spring flowers intermixed with perfumed raspberry and blueberry notes, it exhibits a sort of cool-climate character. Broad, rich and intense on the palate, the wine has plenty of tannins, but they are sweet and well-integrated. Everything is delicately entwined into this beautiful, medium to full-bodied, dense purple wine, which shows stunning character and a prodigious potential for development. This is definitely a major sleeper of the vintage and even better than I thought from barrel. With its 2010, this classified growth located in the southern end of the Medoc may well have made a modern-day version

We loved this wine on our April 2012 Bordeaux trip. A 2010 with lots of sweetness and forward fruit. Blackberries abound here. Great value. (Clyde Beffa, K&L Co-Owner and Bordeaux Buyer) It comes from the miniscule St-Georges St-Emilion Appellation, which is located within the boundaries of Montagne-St-Emilion. The vineyards of Château Divon have a specially privileged terroir. They face straight south. Always a plus in this uncertain maritime climate!

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Once again in 2010, notes of mocha, espresso roast, chocolate, creme de cassis and scorched earth soar from this opaque purple-colored wine. It is aged in 100% new oak, but that is hardly noticeable given the wine’s sensational richness and extravagant fruit. This wine is classic, full-bodied and intense. It’s just a shame that less than 8,000 bottles are usually made. This wine is still backward, but very full, rich, and impressively pure in texture.
