Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé Champagne
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé Champagne (93WS, 92VN, 91WE). Wine Spectator: "A lovely rosé in an almost vinous style, with mouthwatering acidity and a fine, lacy mousse carrying appealing flavors of ripe raspberry, white cherry fruit, star anise, mandarin orange peel and honeysuckle. Lightly chalky on the lasting finish. Enjoy with food. Drink now through 2020. (AN)" (11/2016)

1998 Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum lot of 1998 Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (94WE). Wine Enthusiast: "A delicious, welcoming, generous wine that also manages to keep the pure, mineral character of Chardonnay. It has a very direct, linear, steely taste. Great acidity plays a part, as do ripe, fruity flavors and fine balance. This wine should develop well, but it’s delicious now." (11/1/2006)

2004 Jacquesson "Champs Cain" Avize Brut Champagne
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2004 Jacquesson "Champs Cain" Avize Brut Champagne (96RP, 95VN, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From vines planted in 1962, the single-vineyard Jacquesson 2004 Extra Brut Avize Champ Cain leads with an utterly remarkable nose. A greenhouse-like profusion of leafing and flowering things is imposed over sea breeze, with jasmine; musky narcissus; nose-prickling spice as if from some exotic orchid; iodine-tinged toasted shrimp shells; and toasted grain all pungently present and anticipating the elusive complexity delivered on a caressingly polished yet consummately refreshing and almost ethereally delicate palate. Over time, the sense of creaminess and the refinement of bubbles became more evident, along with a contrasting impression of enhanced piquancy, suggesting hops and lentil sprouts, all in the context of remarkable poise and transparency to nuance. The endlessly fascinating finish remains infectiously juicy and subtly yet mouthwateringly saline. L

Jacques Selosse Lieux Dits Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Les Carelles Le Mesnil sur Oger (dis. 2013)
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of Jacques Selosse Lieux Dits Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Les Carelles Le Mesnil sur Oger (94VN). Vinous: "(2 g/l dosage; disgorged on April 10, 2013): Bright yellow. Smoky pear and peach nectar scents are complicated by toasty lees, vanilla and chamomile. Velvety, dense and expansivee, offering toasty citrus and orchard fruit flavors given spine by juicy acidity and a strong mineral quality. The toasty note comes back strong on the mineral-driven finish, which lingers with superb tenacity. (JR)" (01/2015)

Jacques Selosse "Le Bout du Clos Ambonnay" Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut Champagne
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of Jacques Selosse "Le Bout du Clos Ambonnay" Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut Champagne (96RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The NV Extra-Brut Grand Cru Le Bout du Clos is all about power, depth and pure structure. The weight and gravitas of Ambonnay comes through beautifully in this intense, layered Champagne. Hard candy, wild flowers, mint and spice are some of the many notes that take shape in the glass. The current release is a blend of vintages 2004 and 2005, two years that are very much complimentary in nature. I drank several bottles of the Bout du Clos during a recent trip in Italy, and was never let down. This is a gorgeous showing. Today the Bout du Clos has an implosive, huge minerality that keeps the wine from being fully expressive, but in another few years, the wine should start to be even better than it is today. Disgorgement date: April 13, 2012. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020. (AG)" (10/2012)
