2002 Sine Qua Non "Mr. K The Noble Man" Edna Valley Chardonnay (375ml)

94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 Mr. K The Noble Man (321 grams per liter of residual sugar and 10.25 grams per liter of acidity) is made from 100% botrytised Chardonnay. Its medium gold color is followed by a wine with honeyed complexity, and huge body, sweetness, and thickness. This effort is never as complex or focused as its siblings, but it is still a phenomenal sweet wine that can stand on its own merits against any great sweet wine made in the world. (RP)" (6/2005)

2003 Sine Qua Non "Mr. K The Noble Man" Chardonnay (375ml)

95-96 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium gold. Knockout nose offers pure botrytis aromas of orange oil, apricot, clove, marzipan, chocolate and mocha. Extraordinarily thick and honeyed but with bracing acids leavening the flavors of marzipan, coconut, brown sugar and orange rind. Higher-toned than the gewurztraminer, with a spirity suggestion of Gran Marnier. Krankl was about to bottle this. I have rarely tasted such thoroughly botrytized Chardonnay. (ST)" (7/2005) 94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Mr. K. 2001 Far Niente "Dolce" Napa Valley Dessert Wine (375ml)

A great vintage for Dolce. "Exceptionally fortuitous weather conditions in the weeks leading up to harvest, with rain, persistent humidity and drying conditions at just the right intervals to produce an extensive and uniform botrytis infection in the vineyard," says Dolce winemaker Greg Allen.

2002 Far Niente "Dolce" Napa Valley Dessert Wine (375ml)

96 points Wine Enthusiast: "*Editors' Choice* Over many years Dolce has established itself as one of the top dessert wines in California, and the ’02 doesn’t disappoint. Enormously rich in apricot, tangerine and roasted coconut flavors, with plenty of botrytis notes, the wine was aged in 100% new French oak, and oozes in sweet vanilla char and crème brûlée." (12/2006) 92 points Wine Spectator: "Ripe, rich and extracted, with sugary honey, apricot, crème brûlée and cedary vanilla-laced oak. A bit disjointed, but has the richness, concentration and focus to reward cellaring. Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. (Web-2 ...Read More »

The Nobleman Chardonnay (200 grams of residual sugar per liter) reveals phenomenal fresh, lively acidity as well as wonderful honeyed peach, marmalade, tropical fruit, and creme brulee characteristics. 1992 Far Niente "Dolce" Napa Valley Dessert Wine (375ml)

90 points Wine Spectator: "Sweet, rich, complex honey, pear, fig, nectarine and peach flavors lead to a concentrated aftertaste that echoes ultra ripe fruit." (12/1995) K&L Notes: A combination of late harvest Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc from the foggy town of Coombsville, east of Napa, Dolce is Napa's ultimate Sauternes-style dessert wine, with its earthy, botrytis underpinning and joyful acidity.

2012 Sine Qua Non "Shackled" Vin de Paille (375ml)

This dessert wine from Manfred Krankl's Sine Qua Non is made from the grape variety Petit Manseng. This variety is originally native to Southwest France and is naturally suited to sweet wine production. A "straw wine", the harvested grape clusters are placed on straw mats to partially dehydrate and produce a naturally concentrated dessert wine.

2009 Williams Selyem "Vista Verde Vineyard" San Benito County Port (375ml)

93 points Wine Enthusiast: "Dark and viscous, this greets the nose with expected aromas of raisin and prune, but rises above with nutmeg, cardamom, clove and sleek graphite notes. The first impression on the palate is sweet plum nectar, but the grippy tannins prove seductive and the ripping acidity keeps it quaffable. The fascinating finish is all about chocolate-covered nuts." (5/2015)

2011 Williams Selyem "Vista Verde Vineyard" Port San Benito County (375ml)

Winemaker's Notes: "Toffee, blackberry pie, and mulling spices counterpoint each other in this classically made port. Crafted from traditional Portuguese varieties, the 2011 Port offers a dizzying array of aromas and flavors. Perfectly balanced acidity and mature tannins meld with subtle flavors of molasses and dark chocolate before finishing with a surprising citrus lift. The perfect way to end a meal. Or, pair with Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s molten chocolate cake."
