2015 Joel Gott California Sauvignon Blanc

89 points Wine Spectator: "This white is precise, showing mango, lemon verbena and lime sherbet flavors that are fragrant and juicy. A hint of honeysuckle lingers on the finish. Drink now." (11/2016)

2004 Robert Mondavi Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

89 points from Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Ruby-red. Aromas of blackberry, licorice, graphite and minerals. Bright berry flavors are complicated by tobacco. Firm tannins and sound acids give this fruity, fairly lush wine sound structure and enticing freshness. This is already supple, but I'd still give it a year or so in the cellar. This is Mondavi's most important release, with a production of 80,000 cases." (May/June 2007) Deep blackberry character weaves through the rich, warm aromas and velvety smooth flavors. Seductive notes of choc... Read More »

1992 Silverado "Limited Reserve" Napa Valley Merlot

89 points Wine Spectator: "Supple and fruity, with bright, lively, juicy cherry and currant, picking up a trace of herb and chocolate. Finishes with crisp acidity and firm tannins, but they're not overbearing." (08/96)

1994 St. Clement Napa Merlot (1.5 L)

89 points Wine Spectator: "The core of herb and currant flavors and jots of bell pepper and sage are harmonious and supple. Finishes with a slight leathery edge to the tannins, which cellaring into 1999 might help soften. 4,100 cases made." (04/97)

2008 Freeman Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir New!
2008 Freeman Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

89 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/Jun 10: "Saturated red. Aromatically complex nose offers red berries, cola and anise, along with a sneaky floral quality. Firmly built pinot, offering fleshy red fruit flavors and a bracing note of bitter cherry. Silky tannins build on the focused, persistent, juicy finish. This is drinking well now, especially with some aeration."

2000 Turley "Vineyard 101" Alexander Valley Zinfandel

89 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium dullish red. Cherry, raspberry, dark chocolate and a meaty note on the nose. Supple and fat on entry, then a bit less sweet in the middle than on the nose and the wine's 16.6% alcohol would suggest. Rather cool flavors of strawberry liqueur and mint. Slightly dry on the finish." (6/2002) Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Moderate levels of sweet and sour cherries, currants, minerals, and earth are present in the restrained, perfumed, elegant, dark ruby-colored 2000 Zinfandel Vineyard 101 (125 cases). For a Larry Turley/Ehren Jordan offering, it plays it close to the vest." (8/2002)

1999 Dehlinger "Goldridge Vineyard" Russian River Valley Syrah

89 points Wine Spectator: "Puts out Côte-Rôtie-like aromatics, with spice, tobacco, white pepper and an enticing gaminess. Intense and concentrated, with admirable persistence as the flavors keep unfolding through firm, tart tannins on the finish." (9/2002) Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The dark ruby/purple-colored 1999 Syrah Goldridge Vineyard (325 cases) possesses a sweet perfume of blackberry liqueur intermixed with cassis. While the finish is short, the wine is elegant, with good fruit, medium body, and excellent purity." (8/2002)

2004 Carlisle Sonoma County Syrah

89 points Stephen Tanzer: "Impressive saturated ruby. Brooding aromas of liqueur-like black fruits and new oak. Concentrated, sweet and densely packed, with good cut and solid structure but without quite the complexity of the last couple of samples. This wine actually includes some new oak barrels that were pulled from a few of Officer's other wines. Finishes with big, dusty tannins." (May/Jun 2006)
