92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "92+ points. The 2015 Riesling is a step-up from the previous vintage, offering gorgeous floral, jasmine and lemon drops notes with hints of crushed stones, beeswax and yuzu. The palate is intense, zesty and very tightly knit with tons of freshness and an appealing steeliness carrying the taut flavors to a long finish. 600 cases produced. (LPB)" (10/2015) K&L Notes: Winemaker's Notes: "The Powell & Son Eden Valley Riesling emanates from a single site in the high Flaxman’s Valley, 460 metres above sea level. The five acre vineyard showcases dry grown, rod and spur prun... Read More »
95 points James Halliday: "Estate-grown, wild yeast-fermented in French barriques with extended lees contact. Full of character and vitality; grapefruit and white peach figure skate with each other, the line perfect, the length admirable thanks in no small measure to minerally acidity." (6/2014) 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chardonnay opens to a peachy, tropical fruit nose with underlying notes of cedar, toast, butterscotch and roasted cashews. Medium-bodied, it has a pleasant creamy texture and good amount of stone fruit and tropical flavors before finishing with persistent, honey-toast notes. (LPB) ...Read More »
92 points Wine Spectator: "Focused and intense, this offers a burst of fresh mango and lime juice on a sleek and polished frame. Shows plenty of energy on the long finish. Drink now through 2022. (MW)" (10/2016) Jancis Robinson: "*Good Value* Gently creamy aroma, and then a attractive note of oatmeal and orange on the palate, underpinned by citrus freshness. More savoury on the palate, with a mealy lees quality adding texture and length. Beautifully balanced and long. (JH)" (10/2016) Wine & Spirits: "There’s fresh, oceanic acidity to this wine, its flavors of green lime, almonds and corn silk dominated by notes of bana ...Read More »
91 points Wine Enthusiast: "This light- to medium-weight wine is drinkable now—try it with Coffin Bay oysters if you can - but should also age well for up to 15 years. Notes of citrus, lime and crushed stone are mouthwatering and refreshing." K&L Notes: Eden Valley Riesling is one of the most sought after wines in its category for its distinctive aromas and classic character. This wine is no exception. From the winery: "The specific topography and mineral profile of this Single Vineyard provides ideal conditions for Riesling. Gun Metal describes the grey-coloured stone amongst the vineyard whil... 92 points Vinous: "Light, hazy yellow. Smoky, assertively perfumed aromas of poached pear, melon and lemon curd are complemented by suggestions of fennel, jasmine and vanilla. Supple and broad on entry, then more taut in the middle, offering juicy orchard fruit and orange zest flavors and a hint of toasty lees. Shows a suave blend of power and finesse and finishes sappy, smoky and very long, with a sexy floral quality. This complex wine reminded me a lot of a top-notch white Bordeaux. (JR)" (3/2016) 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Youthfully mute with a subtle lemon curd and apple-laced nose, plus nuances ...Read More »

91 points James Halliday: "Generosity personified, with Meyer lemon and Bickford's lime juice aromas and flavours letting nothing else get into the act (including acidity). Ready now." 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Riesling is intensely scented of lime cordial, white peaches, lemon curd and honeysuckle with a waft of talc. Light-bodied, dry and with a lively acid backbone, it delivers a burst of expressive citrus flavor and great length. (LPB)" (6/2016) K&L Notes: This delivers exactly what I want from Eden Riesling - clean precise citrus driven flavors, juicy (not austere) acidity and good texture on the palate. Th... Read More »
Wine Spectator: "Fresh herb and saline notes accent the smooth and juicy mix of grapefruit and passion fruit flavors. (MW)" (6/2016)
90 points Wine Spectator: "Mouthwatering, with an intensely juicy backbone to the grapefruit, lime and pineapple flavors, mingling on the long finish. Drink now. (MW)" (4/2017) K&L Notes: Winemaker's Notes: "The Courtesan is a dry style Riesling with flavors of fresh elderflower, lime, ripe melon, quince, and hints of grapefruit. Best served cold with grilled chicken, summer salads or shellfish. Vinification, as one might expect with good fruit, is very simple. The grapes are picked in the cool of the morning and rapidly transported to the winery where they are lightly crushed and sent to pres... Read More »
95 points James Halliday: "Hand-picked and sorted, free-run juice cool-fermented in tank. There is a subliminal savoury edge to the bouquet and palate, possibly from more than one yeast at work, and also to crisp, crunchy acidity. You pick up the extra level of flavour from ripe (not overripe) fruit on the back-palate and finish. Has the X-factor many Sauvignon Blancs lack." (9/2015) K&L Notes: Having S.C. Pannell as a K&L exclusive import is like having the national monopoly on Opus One. Steve Pannell is one of the most highly regarded and awarded winemakers in Australian history. Pannell ha... Medium-bodied, the satiny palate offers wonderful intensity with stone fruit, savory and spice layers, finishing very long. 92+ (LPB)" (8/2016) K&L Notes: Winemaker's notes: "The wine displays fragrant lemon zest, fresh white stone fruit aromas and cut apples and pears with a hint of vanilla and brioche. The palate is a mix of citrus (in particular lime), white stone fruits, fresh apples and raw almonds with a slightly cre... Read More »
A fantastic, refreshing, aromatic white that is a field blend of 40% Savagnin, 25% Gewurztraminer, 25% Pinot Gris and 10% Chardonnay. This is crisp, floral and ultimately drinkable. Perfect with lighter food, Asian spices or sushi.
92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Mesh 2015 Riesling is gorgeous with an expressive lime cordial and orange blossom nose, with hints of petrol, honey and coriander seeds. This Riesling is light-bodied, dry and crisp, and there are plenty of citrus and spice flavors leading to the perfumed finish. (LPB)" (6/2016) 92 points Wine Enthusiast: "This joint venture between the Grosset and Hill Smith families continues to shine. It’s tight, lean and austere at this young age, showing the delicate yet powerful notes of tart lime and crushed stone that bode well for aging up to 15 years or so." Wine Spectator: "Very crisp and refreshing. A n ...Read More »

Kanta is a partnership between Germany's renowned winemaker Egon Müller and Michael Andrewartha, of Australia's premium wine retailer-importer East End Cellars. Having flown all around Australia to find the perfect cool-climate fruit for their Riesling, the partners found it in the Balhannah vineyard in Andrewartha's home turf, the cooler-climate Adelaide Hills.
90 points Vinous: "Light, green-tinged gold. Fresh citrus and orchard fruits on the nose, with hints of chalky minerals and ginger adding vivacity. Juicy and penetrating on the palate, offering vibrant Meyer lemon and green apple flavors that flesh out with air. Shows depth and well as vivacity and finishes tangy and long, with a suave floral note sneaking in late. (JR)" (3/2016)
90 points Wine Spectator: "Ripe, rich and polished, with apricot-scented pear and floral flavors on a generous frame. Not heavy, but well-formed. Drink now through 2018. 287 cases made."
94 points James Halliday: "Wild-fermented in French barriques, 35% of the wine matured in barrel, the remainder in tank, blended and bottled Sept. Elegant, but flavour-filled; white peach, nectarine and touch of fig, citrussy acidity following with a splash of oak. (Cane damage and poor flowering caused by 50mm rain and high wines in Nov reduced the crop level by 40%. [This is] the first release produced with a Delta Oscillys destemmer that removes the stems by a swinging motion rather than the traditional beating shaft and rotating cage, removing shot berries, dry grapes and unri ...Read More »
