2014 La Gravette de Certan, Pomerol

This second wine of Vieux Chateau Certan is so good it is sinful. Made by Alexander Thienpont, of whom Robert Parker has said, in reviewing a previous vintage, "Alexander Thienpont continues to turn out brilliant wines from this property situated on the high Plateau of Pomerol." Fresh raspberries on the nose and on the palate with some toasty oak undertones. We drank it, as we could not spit it out. This is a must buy.
