Dark cherry, plum, spice, vanillin and French oak notes blossom in a resonant, expressive wine endowed with lovely depth. The 2013 isn't especially complex, but it is quite open and expressive, not to mention incredibly delicious. I expect the 2013 will be a great wine to drink in its youth.
