Of the 1994 Fonseca Vintage Port (375ml),Wine Spectator writes: " **1997 Wine of the Year and Cellar Selection** Hold on to your hat. This is the best Fonseca since 1977, and it's probably even better than that classic vintage--more like the breathtaking 1948. Mind-blowing, with masses of color, aroma and fruit flavor. Smells like fermenting berries, boasting loads of crushed grape, violet and berry character. Big, full-bodied and very sweet, with tons of tannins and a sweet finish. Tannic and huge, it's a long-term, great Port. Best after 2012." (04/1997)

1982 Moët & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 1982 Moët & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (97VN, 96JS, 96RP, 93WS). Vinous: "(from magnum) Both 1982 Champagnes are utterly spellbinding. It is amazing to taste these wines at 30 years of age and see that their signatures are all very much intact. Of course, the magnum format is so ideal for Champagne... The 1982 Dom Pérignon is just a little more focused and vibrant in style. Here it is the wine’s salivating minerality that really sings. It, too, is quite youthful and vibrant for its age. What a flight. (AG)" (01/2014)

1993 Haut-Brion Blanc, Pessac-Leognan
Bid on this bottle of 1993 Haut-Brion Blanc, Pessac-Leognan (94RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Slightly superior to the sensational 1992 Haut-Brion-Blanc, the 1993 exhibits a flattering nose of oily, mineral-scented, ripe, honeyed fruit, full-bodied, super-concentrated flavors, admirable acidity, great vibrancy and delineation, and a rich, long, dry, refreshing finish. It is a rich Haut-Brion-Blanc with more aromatic complexity than the muscular and chewy 1992. These wines are almost ageless. (RP)" (12/1994)
