2016 FiftyFifty Brewing Company "Eclipse - Woodford Reserve Barrel (Blue Pearl Wax)" Imperial Stout, California (22oz) (Previously $30)

When one takes the "Totality Imperial Stout" and ages it in oak Bourbon barrels, this is what results: ECLIPSE. This is a rich Imperial Stout with a strong presence of dark chocolate, espresso, vanilla, coconut, hop bitterness, and a lengthy finish resonating with dried tobacco. The Demi Sec is sweet, fruity, and light. It is the perfect accompaniment to your favorite meal or for sipping by itself. Bee d’Vine is refreshingly floral and perfumed. This brew is an old style that has largely been forgotten. Luckily there are a few traditionalists in this part of the world that are intent on bringing back the old-fashioned beers of the past. 2016 AleSmith "Decadence" Imperial California Common, California (750ml) (Previously $15)

AleSmith created an "Imperial California Common". Maintaining a stylistically sound way of making this singularly styled beer, the brewery fermented a lager at warmer ale temperatures. The process causes the yeast to have different flavors than if fermented colder (more typical of Ales vs. Lagers). Per the brewery, the resulting beer is, “A combination of fruity, mineral-like flavors, borne from the lager yeast esters.” Interestingly, this is the only time AleSmith has ever brewed this beer.

Brouwerij Hof Ten Dormaal "Zure" Sour Ale, Belgium (330ml) (Previously $8.49)

The traditional sour beer uses the wild yeasts found around the farm. This gives the beer a soft, refreshing sour taste. After a year of aging on a barrel this beer is ready for consumption. Each batch of Zure Van Tildonk is carefully aged in their cellars at the Engelburcht Monastery for several months prior to release.

Picobrouwerij Alvinne "Wild West - Blackthorn Sloeberries" Wild Ale Aged in Pomerol Barrels w/Sloeberries, Belgium (500ml) (Previously $15)

This beauty is a Golden Flemish sour, oak aged in Bordeaux barrels, then fermented with Morpheus yeast(a special hybrid yeast created by 1 of the 3 brewmasters). Hand harvested sloe-berries (grown in Flanders, Belgium) were added to the Wild West Sour. Pure magic.
