Brewer notes: "Batch No. 1731 is a 100% brettanomyces-fermented hoppy session ale created by homebrewer Kevin Osborne of Los Angeles. When we judged through all of our competition entries, his complex yet quaffable creation shouted WINNER! (as well as tropical!, funky! and dry!). It puts El Dorado, Mosaic and Chinook hops on a pedestal as much as one possibly could."

From a traditional farmhouse brewery in Hood River, Oregon, called Logsdon. The base for Love Child No. 6 is a strong Belgian-style blonde ale. Afer primary fermentation with the bewery's house Belgian yeast strain, the beer was transferred into used wine barrels and stainless vessels, and inoculated with lactobacillus and brettanomyces. 2014 Double Mountain Brewery "Pêche Mode" Belgian Style Sour Ale w/ Peaches, Oregon (375ml) (Previously $18)

From the brewery: "It was last September when we received the news that Mt. View Orchards in Parkdale, OR had somewhat of a bumper crop of peaches. We took this as a sign to bring back an old favorite. The Pêche Mode makes a triumphant return this year with nearly 500 pounds of peaches added to a Strong Belgian Ale base, and then inoculated with Brettanomyces. We gave it nine months to relax and think. The result is a peachy, farmhouse paradise. Lightly tart and refreshing, this one drinks easy. When life hands you peaches, make beer!"

From the brewery: "Jopen Koyt is brewed with gruit, a medieval blend of herbs in which sweet gale picked according to ritual was essential. Legend has it that, to avoid its hallucinogenic properties, sweet gale could only be picked at full moon by nude witches. The spicy flavour is highly complex and smooth. This reddish-brown beer is a reproduction of a Haarlem beer and is brewed according to the brewer’s statute (recipe regulated by the council) of 1407. Deliciously risky."

Picobrouwerij Alvinne "Wild West - Primitivo Grapes" Wild Ale Aged in Pomerol Barrels w/ Wine Grapes, Belgium (500ml) (Previously $13)
