Deschutes Brewery "Reserve Release - Cultivateur" Provision Saison aged in Oak Barrels, Oregon (22oz) (Previously $17)

91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Though technically a saison, this new release from Deschutes, a rustic and oak-aged Brett saison, can easily be considered a wild American ale. It boasts intense aromas of barnyard funk, hay and lemon, framed by additional layers of pear, underripe stone fruit, green apple, white melon, biscuit and toasted oak. Those notes continue through to the medium-bodied palate, which offers a satisfying core of pale-malt flavors as well as cracker, yeast and earthy spice. Born from our Salvaje and Reservado Series of beers this year’s Celebratory Ale is unlike anything you’ve had before. "Saule is French for "willow", a traditional nine-year anniversary gift. Our ninth anniversary ale, Saule, follows in the footsteps of our anniversary releases before it, which are loosely based on an English-style old ale, fermented with our house yeast strain, aged in bourbon barrels and blended using the solera method. This means that a portion of each anniversary ale is saved in oak barrels and blended in with the next year's production, providing more complexity and depth of character as the years go by. The result is layered in robust and complex f... Read More »

Reverend Nat's Hard Cider "New Moon Mandarin" Cider w/ Mandarin, Oregon (500ml) (Previously $7)

The brewer came about this recipe through trial and error, but the inspiration for it was pure magic: "On an overland to the Tien Shan mountains in Northwest China, I checked into in a hostel in a village along the Xingzi River.
