Of the 2013 Purlieu "Teucer Vineyard" Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "From a vineyard I have never seen before, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Teucer Vineyard from Coombsville, is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from clone 7. This brings up the earthier, mineral side of Napa Cabernet. Dense purple, the wine is rich, layered, almost gravel-like, with notes of stones, damp earth, forest floor and oodles of black fruits. This is a big, brawny, masculine style of Cabernet Sauvignon to forget for 5-6 years and drink over the following 20 or more." (12/2015)

2013 Purlieu Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Purlieu Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Purlieu was aged in 70% new French oak for 22 months. This just has a Napa appellation, but is very concentrated -- even profoundly so -- and I have to argue that it's even deeper, richer and potentially even finer than the Martinez Vineyard from Pritchard Hill. Very long, impressive and intense, this looks to be a great value in the scheme of Napa Cabernet pricing. It is also no shy wine at 15.5% alcohol. This is a big-time sleeper of the vintage. Drink now-2030. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 1982 Moët & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (97VN, 96JS, 96RP, 93WS). Vinous: "(from magnum) Both 1982 Champagnes are utterly spellbinding. It is amazing to taste these wines at 30 years of age and see that their signatures are all very much intact. Of course, the magnum format is so ideal for Champagne... The 1982 Dom Pérignon is just a little more focused and vibrant in style. Here it is the wine’s salivating minerality that really sings. It, too, is quite youthful and vibrant for its age. 2006 Domaine Bruno Clair Bonnes Mares Grand Cru
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Domaine Bruno Clair Bonnes Mares Grand Cru ((91-94BH)). Allen Meadows gives this 91-94 points and writes: "(the first vintage since 1984). A discreet touch of wood spice highlights the brooding red pinot fruit aromas as well as the serious, earthy, rich and mouth coating flavors that possess ample dry extract, conferring a textured and sappy character to the detailed, precise and very firm finish. The tannins are ripe however and while notably present, they are not aggressive. An impressive debut." (Burghound, 01/08)

The nose, which is subdued, has not been as beaten up by sterile filtration as some of the more recent vintages. Spicy, with vividly pure cassis aromas, this rich, concentrated, generously endowed wine is big and highly extracted. While not yet fully mature, it is quite enjoyable to drink. (RP)" (04/1992)

The supple, delicious, fruit-forward 2011 The Maiden exhibits lots of sweet black cherries intermixed with hints of caramel and vanillin, an attractive, medium to full-bodied texture and good opulence as well as softness. 1962 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 1962 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon. Ridge wine is made with an emphasis on quality and naturalness that is rarely attempted. Our grapes are grown in select vineyards (usually identified on the label), where they are left to ripen to peak maturity, often at some loss of quantity. We let the wine settle and age in small barrels, with only rare cellar treatment other than racking. Varieties are not blended unless so indicated on the label. Near Black Mountain on Monte Bello Ridge, our main vineyard is 10 miles south of Palo Alto, 15 miles inland from the ocean, and over 2000 feet in elevation.

2009 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 98WE, 96WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon (98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Merlot) is a ripe, flamboyant and brilliantly proportioned effort that oozes kirsch, licorice, lead pencil shavings and dried spice on the nose. Showing the perfume and headiness of the vintage, it nevertheless stays vibrant and lively on the palate while delivering layers of fruit and texture. While formidably structured and tannic, it can be enjoyed now due to the overall tannin quality and purity of fruit. It will evolve and drink well for over two decades. (JD)" (06/2013)

2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L)
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L) (96RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I am old enough to remember Chuck Wagner and his father, who I first met at Caymus in the late seventies. This is clearly one of Napa Valley’s iconic wineries, as well as one that, amazingly, never went through a bad patch. Obviously, no matter which generation is in the driver’s seat (or should I say tractor’s seat), Caymus Vineyard knows how to deliver flavor and deliciousness. They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Utterly perfect, the 2008 Chardonnay Marcassin Estate is a dead-ringer for the 2007, but slightly richer and longer, as hard as that may be to believe. This extraordinary effort is unquestionably the 'Chardonnay of the Vintage.' In fact, it may be the 'Chardonnay of the Decade.' Brioche, nectarine, citrus and orange blossom notes intermixed with a liqueur of rocks, great acid, phenomenal concentration and staggering length result in a sublime Chardonnay that should drink well for 15+ years. The wine offers up loads of beautiful strawberry, kirsch liqueur notes, a medium ruby color, forest floor and floral notes. (RP)" (03/2016)

2001 Sine Qua Non "Midnight Oil" California Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2001 Sine Qua Non "Midnight Oil" California Syrah (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The impeccable 2001 Midnight Oil (95.5% Syrah, 3% Grenache, and 1.5% Viognier) is a product of four vineyards, Alban, Stolpman, Bien Nacido, and White Hawk. The good news is there are 950 cases of this compelling effort. With a 'midnight' black color, and the viscosity of 10-W-40 oil, its aromas of violet/acacia flowers, melted licorice, camphor, blackberries, creme de cassis, and subtle toasty new oak are accompanied by a wine boasting terrific texture, good underlying acidity, ripe tannin, and a 60-second plus finish. There is good detail and a beguiling vibrancy to the saline and intense medium-bodied flavors that possess a firm and solidly persistent finish. Bid on this magnum of 1998 Giacomo Conterno "Monfortino" Barolo Riserva (1.5L) (97RP, 96VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1998 Barolo Riserva Monfortino is a monumental effort. A deep dark red, it opens with a huge nose of licorice, roses and cocoa, then flows onto the palate with masses of sweet, concentrated dark fruit that go on forever. Notes of mineral and leather gradually develop in the glass, adding further complexity as this great wine begins to reveal its expansive and profound personality. The 1998 is unusually open right now. As was the case with the 1997 at this stage, it should offer a brief drinking window over the next 6 months or so before shutting down for what is likely to be an extended period prior to awakening in the glorious prime of its life. With a flawless integration of tannin, wood and acidity, it comes across like a liquid version of haute couture from th

Of the 1994 Fonseca Vintage Port (375ml),Wine Spectator writes: " **1997 Wine of the Year and Cellar Selection** Hold on to your hat. This is the best Fonseca since 1977, and it's probably even better than that classic vintage--more like the breathtaking 1948. Mind-blowing, with masses of color, aroma and fruit flavor. Smells like fermenting berries, boasting loads of crushed grape, violet and berry character. Big, full-bodied and very sweet, with tons of tannins and a sweet finish. Tannic and huge, it's a long-term, great Port. Best after 2012." (04/1997)

1990 La Conseillante, Pomerol
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1990 La Conseillante, Pomerol (97RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This deep ruby/garnet-hued 1990 reveals considerable amber at the edge as well as a knock-out bouquet of cedar, kirsch, licorice, roasted herbs, and spice box. An exuberant, atypically flamboyant effort, it possesses supple texture, medium to full body, sweet fruit, plenty of glycerin, and attractive melted tannin. This wine has been delicious since birth, but additional nuances continue to develop in the bottle. Drink it over the next decade. (RP)" (06/2009)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine Bertheau Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Amoureuses" (93BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A gorgeously elegant and spicy mix of red and blue pinot fruit is cut with ample minerality as are the understated, suave and silky-textured middle weight flavors that possess excellent intensity on the explosive finish that is almost in a sense a surprise given the low key character of the mid-palate. This is a velvety wine of harmony and grace that could easily be approached now or aged with confidence for 10 to 12 years." (01/2012)

1990 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1990 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien (96RP, 94ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As one might expect, this is a brilliant wine, but it remains shockingly young, even for the fast evolving 1990s. Its deep ruby/purple color is accompanied by a classic, nearly restrained set of aromatics that includes notions of sweet black cherries, black currants, lead pencil, and wet stones. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, and while technically low in acidity, there is a freshness, delineation, and classicism in this full-throttle, rich, concentrated, impeccable 1990. While still youthful, it is easy to appreciate despite its substantial tannins. It is not quite as backward as the 1990 Lafite Rothschild or 1990 Latour. Anticipated maturity: now-2035. 1990 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1990 Margaux, Margaux (100RP, 98ST, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I had this wine both in Seoul, Korea in February, and from my cellar in December, 2008, and it was remarkable how identical the wines smelled and tasted. It offers an extraordinary aromatic display of spring flowers, camphor, sweet red and black fruits, a hint of licorice, and no evidence of its 100% new oak cask aging. Round and generous with low acidity, but an opulent, full-bodied richness that is fresh with laser-like precision, this stunning wine is just beginning to reach its plateau of full maturity, where it should remain for another three decades. A sensational effort, it is one of the legendary wines made at Chateau Margaux." (06/2009)

Of the 1997 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The finest proprietary red produced by Pahlmeyer to date is their 1997 (a blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, and the rest Petit-Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec). Production is 3,300 cases, and the wine tips the scales at 14.7% alcohol. A super-rich, blockbuster effort, it exhibits an opaque purple color in addition to a fabulous bouquet of black fruits, espresso, cocoa, mocha, and flowers. 1975 Cheval Blanc, St-Emilion
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1975 Cheval Blanc, St-Emilion (95VN, 90RP). Vinous: "Bright ruby-red with a hint of garnet. Enticing floral nose offers very pure raspberry and red cherry aromas, complicated by tobacco and bay leaf notes. Then sweet, dense and smooth in the mouth, with rich red cherry, plum and peppery flavors. Finishes with still chewy but noble tannins and a trace of heat. A great Cheval Blanc that is more massive than usual, showing plenty of concentrated, complex flavors and a wonderfully rich texture. In this vintage, Cheval Blanc benefited from its earlier ripening soils, which allowed the grapes to be harvested at optimal phenolic ripeness, something that eluded other Bordeaux estates that may have picked too early. The harvest took place from September 26 to October 8. This was the first vintage of Cheval Blanc ever sold en primeur. (Ian D'Agata)" (10/2011)

Ripe, dense and suave, with strong acidity and an herbal edge framing the flavors of crushed berries and black cherry. Finishes with serious tannic spine and excellent length.
