2014 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon, RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon, RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon RBS is made from the same clone (337) as the Georges III, but comes from the To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville and not the Rutherford Georges III. This was aged in 85% new Darnajou and 15% new Taransaud. It has fabulous concentration, notes of incense, licorice, blackcurrants, blackberries, as well as spring flowers. The wine is juicy, savory and full-bodied, with wonderful underlying energy and freshness. This wine is a more forward style than we saw with the 2013s, and is best drunk over the next 16-20 years. 2011 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru "Les Champeaux" Vieille Vigne
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru "Les Champeaux" Vieille Vigne ((91-93BH), 93ST, (91-93VN)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright red. Urgent high-pitched aromas of violet, spices and blood orange are complemented by lower-toned game and leather. At once dense and precise, displaying superb cut to its flavors of minerals, rose petal and blood orange. Wonderfully high-pitched, fresh and long on the aftertaste. Again, Gevrey in a Chambolle style. (ST)" (03/2014)

1990 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Réservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1990 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Réservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " A big step up, and showing that the warmer, richer years dish out the most pleasure at maturity, the 1990 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Reserve is drop-dead gorgeous, and close to my favorite of the night. Possessing a thrillingly complex, mature feel, with full-bodied richness and a layered, textured and seamless mouthfeel, this puppy was singing, with loads of lavender, peppery herbs, game and dried flower-like aromas and flavors. I don’t see it getting any better, and would drink it while it still has this voluptuous, hedonistic slant that makes it such a joy to drink. (JD)" (08/2014)

1998 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (94W&S, 93ST, 91JS, 91WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Very deep saturated ruby. Archetypical Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated nose offers fresh blackcurrant, lead pencil and flowers complicated by strong spice notes. Bright and juicy on entry, with very pure flavors of dark berries, underbrush and dried herbs, then slightly austere and linear in the middle palate. Finishes with a lingering saline nuance and very good length. A very refined and impeccably balanced Mouton, but I would have liked a little bit more concentration and opulence for an even higher score. This classic Mouton possesses relatively high acidity and a solid tannic structure; it offers early accessibility but should age effortlessly for another 15 or 20 years. 93+ (ID)" (08/2011)

2009 Grace Family "Blank Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Grace Family "Blank Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Since 2001 the Graces have made a very small amount of wine from a 1.8-acre vineyard owned by Chotsie and Alan Blank, which happens to be located next to Caymus. The Blank's vineyard was planted with cuttings from Grace Family Vineyards. But the soil and microclimate at Blank is its own. Not surprisingly, Grace Family wines labeled "Blank" have their own unique character.

2002 Simon Bize Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru "Vergelesses"
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2002 Simon Bize Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru "Vergelesses" (92BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Outstanding* As it almost always is when the vintage is ripe, this is Bize's top Savigny and a lovely, altogether classy wine it is too. Delicious, precise, pure and fully suffused with an intense minerality, all complemented by sappy, fresh and deep old vine sap and complexity. In short, this is a great Savigny that has the structure to age for 15 years but easily last for another 10 after that." (04/2004)

Intense nose of dried blackberries and cherries laced with complex aromas of coffee grounds, tobacco leaf, cumin and soy. Nice concentration of mature berry and spice fruit balanced by medium to firm, slightly chewy tannins and medium to high acidity. A more structured style of Opus. Very long finish. Drink now to 2020. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Domaine Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru "Montée de Tonnerre" (93BH, 93ST, (90-91RP)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Musky aromas of chicken broth, lime and crushed stone; quite austere and slow to open. Then less fruity but more important on the palate, with bracing flavors of lemon and apple and an impression of minerality I can only describe as creamy. A very rich, dense wine with a strength of material that belies the normal-for-Raveneau yield of about 50 hectoliters per hectare. (ST)" (07/2004)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Domaine Latour-Giraud Meursault 1er Cru "Perrières" ((92-94BH), 91ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "he barest hint of pain grillé frames the airy, floral and green fruit aromas that include apple and hints of pear and meld into the intense, pure, minerally, indeed this is like rolling liquid rocks around in the mouth, all wrapped in a finish that positively explodes. The intensity is almost painful and the pure impressive and while this has slightly better material than the Genevrières, it can't match it for sheer style. Still, quality is what is being rated here and this appears to have slightly better underlying potential, at least at this point. (AM)" (07/2007)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1998's saturated dense plum/garnet color is accompanied by a stunningly ostentatious, brilliantly aromatic nose of smoky tobacco, cedar wood, plums, cherry liqueur, coffee, and dried herbs. A rich, full-bodied, and opulent wine, it possesses fabulous spice and fruit, as well as a fresh, high-toned character. Powerful, full, and beautifully delineated. (RP)" (10/2001)

2010 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 99JS, 98VN, 94ST, 93W&S, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, the stunning, full-bodied 2010 Dominus boasts an exceptional perfume of hoisin sauce, licorice, underbrush, forest floor, plums, black currants and jammy cherries intertwined with hints of cedar, baking spices and oak. Full-bodied and voluptuously textured, the 2010 is on a slightly faster evolutionary track than the 2009 (somewhat of an anomaly for these two vintages). This exquisite as well as prodigious 2010 can be drunk young, but it should age effortlessly for 20-25 years. Bravo! (RP)" (10/2013)

2012 Chappellet "Pritchard Hill Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Chappellet "Pritchard Hill Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 95JS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The dense purple-colored 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill Estate (one of Napa’s fashionable go-to terroirs) exhibits a striking bouquet of spring flowers, blueberries, raspberries and blackcurrants. This is a compelling wine with profound depth and flavor, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and a velvety integration of tannin, acidity and wood. Pushing perfection in Cabernet Sauvignon, this multidimensional, skyscraper-like offering has all the intensity one expects, but it never comes across as heavy. This gives it an ethereal character that is nearly impossible to articulate, but genius is often hard to explain. It is clearly a major superstar of a great vintage. (RP)" (10/2014)

2007 Château Rayas "Réservé" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Château Rayas "Réservé" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98RP, 97ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I think the Rayas 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape will turn out to eclipse the 2005. It is unequivocally the finest wine made here since Emmanuel Reynaud’s uncle, the late Jacques Reynaud, produced his brilliant 1995. This wine was just released this year, with the 2008 coming on the market in the next few months. The 2007 is a relatively dark ruby/purple-tinged wine, more intensely colored than most Rayas Chateauneufs tend to be, since they are made from 100% Grenache and color has never been one of their hallmarks. The extraordinarily youthful and still burgeoning aromatics of black raspberries, black cherries, truffles and licorice lead to a full-bodied, powerful Rayas with sweet tannin, adequate acidity, and an ethereal richness and unctuosity that delicately offers a sensual texture ... Bid on this magnum lot of 2012 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (99RP, 98JS, (95-97ST), 97VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Harlan Estate is reminiscent of their 2002. Probably a candidate for perfection with another 4-5 years of bottle age, the wine is inky plum/purple to the rim and offers a gorgeous nose of scorched earth, blackberry and cassis, forest floor, and a floral, lavender-like component followed by deep, opulent, majestic flavors that caress the palate with high but sweet tannin. This is relatively evolved, and supple and voluptuous for a young Harlan estate -- hence the comparison with their compelling 2002. This wine can be drunk in several years and is likely another candidate for 30-50 years of cellaring. 99+ (RP)" (10/2015)

Complex and full-bodied, with hints of new oak and wonderfully polished tannins that caress the palate. Long, long finish. This is not the blockbuster it was from barrel, but rather a complete, balanced and gorgeous red. Best after 2015. (JS)" (06/2008)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2004 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 97WE, 95VN, 94CG, 94RP, 93WS) in original wood. Wine Enthusiast: "Tasted in October, 2007, the wine was mute, offering little aromatically except for teasing notes of blackberries and oak. That shyness extended to the taste, where strong, hard tannins provide an almost impenetrable coat of armor to what’s inside. But right down the middle of the palate is a deep, intensely powerful stream of perfectly ripened cassis that’s all the proof you need of ageability. This is a magnificently structured young wine, reminiscent of a fine young Pauillac. Best after 2012, and should have another decade after that, at least." (02/2008)

Of the 2009 Ovid Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2009 Ovid is stunningly beautiful. 2000 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this bottle of 2000 Margaux, Margaux (100JS, 100RP, 98ST, 98W&S, 98WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Absolutely compelling in two tastings of this vintage, the 2000 Margaux is composed of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot. The extraordinary seductiveness, complex aromatics, and purity it exhibits lead me to believe it has reached its window of full maturity. Medium-bodied, with layers of concentration, stunning blue, red, and black fruits intermixed with spring flowers, a subtle dosage of new oak, and a distinctive personality that is elegant while at the same time powerful and substantial, this is a multi-dimensional wine that was extremely approachable and drinkable in both tastings I had of it. The color remains a healthy, even opaque bluish/purple, but there is no reason to hesitate to drink it. It should evolve for another 30-40 years, so there is no hurry either. (RP)" (06/2010)

2012 Realm Cellars "The Bard" Napa Valley Red Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Realm Cellars "The Bard" Napa Valley Red Blend (99RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Proprietary Red The Bard, a 500-case blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, is meant to showcase the finest Cabernet Sauvignon grapes they access from such great Napa Valley sites as Beckstoffer To Kalon, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, Fortuna and Weitz. Beautiful notes of pungent baking spices, licorice, melted chocolate, espresso, blackberries and cassis soar from the glass of this ostentatious, flamboyant, classic, locked-and-loaded Cabernet Sauvignon. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP, (93-96ST), 96VN, 95WS) in original wood. It boasts an opaque purple color as well as copious notes of spring flowers, blackberries, black raspberries and wet rocks. The wine’s gravelly minerality and spectacular opulence and density make it an instant classic. This massive, full-bodied 2012 should drink beautifully for 15-20+ years. It showed incredibly well last year, and it still reveals the potential to possibly merit a 3-digit score – it’s that special. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Bollinger R.D. Extra Brut Champagne (99JS, 97W&S, 96VN, 96WS, 94BH). James Suckling: "Super fresh, this is striking given the 10 years in the cellars; it has a fine citrus nose - plenty of lemon, grapefruit, yellow chalky notes, some lighter floral elements too. The palate is super dry (dosage at 3-4g) and there's a silky, sherbet-like texture, smooth, fine and long. The citrus flavours give way to the driving surging acidity, thunderous acidity, really driving and powerful. The finish twists very slowly through to light-toasted cashew fruit flavours, but lemon citrus prevails. This is thrilling Champagne. Disgorged 22nd October, 2013. Drink from 2016. " (05/2014)

2007 Castello di Neive "Santo Stefano" Barbaresco
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Castello di Neive "Santo Stefano" Barbaresco (95RP, 94WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Barbaresco Albesani Santo Stefano shows the weight and richness that is typical of this south-facing site in Neive. A rich fabric of dark fruit, fresh roses, new leather and menthol completely cover the palate. The Santo Stefano is impeccable in its generous, enveloping fruit. The intensity and sheer depth of the fruit manages to virtually bury the tannins, but they are there. As delicious as this is today, it will be even better in a few years- time. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2027. Castello di Neive, one of the historic producers in Barbaresco, seems to fly under the radar, but the best of the wines are well worth discovering and offer terrific quality for the money. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Forever the superstar, the 2011 Bolgheri Superiore Guado al Tasso is a delicious wine that never holds back in terms of intensity and seamless integration. Every detail has been finessed. The blend is 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. Each vineyard parcel is fermented separately to maintain varietal identity. The wine’s appearance is dark and luscious with thick extraction and a vibrant dark garnet hue. Generous aromas of dark fruit, tobacco and chocolate lift steadily from the glass. 2012 Domaine de Montille Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Aux Thorey"
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine de Montille Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Aux Thorey" ((92-94RP), (90-92BH), (90-92ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Les Thorey comes from the domaine’s 0.73-hectare parcel. This vintage is 100% whole cluster and sees around 50% new oak. It has an earthy, mushroom and dried blood-scented bouquet that is very engaging and well-defined. The palate is firm and grippy on the entry. This is very concentrated with a fine bead of acidity, yet the grip is gentle and not imposing. The swagger demonstrated at this nascent stage suggests that this may evolve into one of Domaine de Montille’s finest 2012. (NM)" (12/2013)

Wine Spectator: " *#5 on Top 100 of 2008, Highly Recommended* This is dense and chewy, but not tiring to drink, thanks to fresh acidity and an edgy, gravelly feel that drives the blackberry, currant and sweet spice notes. The long finish has great briary grip, with notes of garrigue and hot stone checking in. Best from 2010 through 2030. (JM)" (04/2008)

Rich and full-bodied with a multilayered mouthfeel and a long, complex, stunning finish, this is a profound example of a 2011 from a great terroir. Consume it over the next 20 years. 2010 Saxum "Heart Stone Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Saxum "Heart Stone Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (95RP, 95VN, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More dense and rich, the 2010 Heart Stone Vineyard is a co-fermented blend of 51% Syrah and 49% Grenache that comes from a small 7-acre, south-facing vineyard located on the western side of Paso Robles. Aged mostly in large oak puncheons for 20-28 months, it offers up a savory, complex bouquet of kirsch and blackberry-like fruit, meat juice, Provencal herbs, dried licorice, and dusty minerality. Gorgeous on the palate as well, with a deft, elegant texture, building richness, and layers of chewy tannin, this beauty is reasonably approachable now, yet will be even better in 2-3 years. It will drink well for 12-15 years. (JD)" (07/2014)

2014 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((95-97RP), 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Chardonnay Ritchie (the vines this year were 42 years of age) displays terrific ripeness, plenty of acidity, fabulous density, a multi-dimensional mouthfeel and a full-bodied finish. It should drink well for a decade as well.It sounds like a broken record, but Mark Aubert is certainly one of a handful of California’s finest practitioners of Burgundy-styled, classic California Chardonnays. He’s at the top of the pyramid for these extraordinary wines, and he’s not that far behind when it comes to Burgundian-styled, rich, impressive Pinot Noirs as well. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Perrières" (92BH, (89-91ST)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " A wonderfully elegant but definitely restrained to the point of being almost discreet nose of pure green fruit and acacia blossom aromas blends into the delicious, intense, refined and almost aggressively mineral flavors that are nervous and penetrating on the marvelously long finish. This is not as concentrated as the best here but the balance is impeccable and there's a real sense of flair without being showy." (07/2007)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot aged 20 months in 60% new French oak) reveals a Medoc-like nose of cedarwood, damp earth, black currants and hints of bay leaf and unsmoked cigar tobacco. Bid on this magnum lot of 2006 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (95RP, 95ST, 93JS, 93W&S, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Vecina has turned out even better than I expected last year. Graphite/lead pencil notes intermixed with hints of burning embers and charcoal, an opaque purple color, and sweet blackberry and roasted espresso notes are all present in this wine, which is masculine, muscular, tannic, but incredibly well-endowed and a potential candidate for 30 years of aging. Connoisseurs Guide: " *Three Stars, Wine of the Year in 2008* This year's version of Insignia is a stunning wine that vies for very top honors of the vintage. Its utterly enveloping aromas of perfectly ripe currants, creamy oak and dried violets are followed up in the mouth with wonderfully extracted, carefully proportioned Cabernet flavors that go on and on. The wine is lush yet solidly structured with a fine sense of balance and tannin right where it should be, and, as good as the wine will be in its youth, it will be better yet with age." (12/2008)

2002 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This fabulous wine from the eastern hillsides of northern Napa Valley, not far from the Eisele Vineyard, boasts an inky/blue/purple color as well as an extraordinary perfume of mulberries, black cherries, cassis, graphite, forest floor and charcoal, an astonishing texture, a full-bodied opulence and extraordinary richness and length. It is a modern day legend that tastes even younger than it did 7-10 years ago. These wines have an amazing ability to firm up and become even richer and more complex, which is exactly what great winemaking and terroir can do. Kudos to Jason Woodbridge for another sensational wine. For those concerned about alcohol, the label shows 15.9%, but there is not a trace of warmth in this beauty. It will last for at least another 20-25 years, perhaps longer. (RP)" (06/2012)

Already complex and approachable, it nevertheless has full-bodied richness on the palate, as well as a supple, mouth-filling texture, juicy acidity and no hard edges. Drink it over the coming decade. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Peter Michael "Le Caprice" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95RP, 93WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Lusher, more expansive and savory, the 2012 Pinot Noir La Caprice (1,485 cases) possesses stunning richness, and is more approachable and exuberant than the 2013 with the vintage’s boisterousness and heady, intense fruit well-displayed. The color is a dense ruby/plum/purple, and the wine exhibits lots of red and blackcurrant, dark cherry and foresty notes. It, too, should drink well for 10-15 years. (RP)" (12/2014)

Full-bodied, it is generous and rich in the mouth with bright acid and a medium-firm level of fine-grained tannins. It finishes long and fine. Drink it now until 2022+. (LPB) " (02/2013)

It should evolve for 7-10 years. Kistler Vineyards, undeniably one of the world’s finest winemaking estates, is run with passionate dedication to detail and quality by Steve Kistler and Mark Bixler. Complex aromas of bay leaf, roasted herbs, black currants, loamy soil, and toasty oak, along with a medium to full-bodied, elegant finish suggest this 2005 can be enjoyed over the next 10-12 years. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 94RP, 94WE, 91WS) in original wood. Graphite, smoked dark fruits, exotic spice and sweet oak all emerge from this brilliant effort, and it hits the palate with a full-bodied, concentrated profile that carries layers of sweet tannin, solid mid-palate depth and a great finish.
