2011 Drinkward Peschon "Entre Deux Mères" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Drinkward Peschon "Entre Deux Mères" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91AG). Antonio Galloni: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Entre Deux Meres is beautiful. Sweet, layered and expressive, the 2011 impresses for its length and balance. Raspberry jam, flowers, sweet spices and crushed rocks are all laced together gracefully. This is a fabulous example of the year at its best. The 2011 will drink well early, but it should also age nicely for a number of years Dollops of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot round out the blend." (11/2013)

1985 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 1985 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Beringer's 1985 Private Reserve is a superb, fully mature (atypical for the vintage), medium to full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with an enticing, chocolatey, herb, blackcurrant-scented nose, rich, plump, expansive, sweet, jammy flavors, attractive spice, and a soft, lush finish. It has matured quickly for a 1985, but there is no rush to consume it as it reveals no signs of fatigue." (04/1995)

Wine Spectator: "Aromas of blackberry and lightly toasted oak follow through to a full-bodied palate, with chewy tannins and a rich, fruity aftertaste of plum, berry and vanilla. All there. Solid wine. Second wine of Margaux. Best after 2011." (03/2006)

2010 Troplong Mondot, St-Emilion
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Troplong Mondot, St-Emilion (99RP, 95ST, 94JS, 94WS, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Inky, bluish/black/purple, with notes of spring flowers, licorice, camphor, graphite, and a boatload of blueberry, black raspberry and blackberry fruit, this is a powerful, full-bodied Troplong Mondot. All the building components of acidity, tannin, wood and alcohol are judiciously and impressively integrated. It is a blend of 90% Merlot and the rest equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc made by Christine Valette and her husband Xavier Pariente with the consultancy help of Michel Rolland. I-m not sure what the heady alcohol level is in Troplong Mondot in 2010 (it certainly must be in the 15%+ range), but it is well-concealed behind the extravagant, richness, full-bodied power, and pure nobility of this majestic wine. Forget this for 5-7 years and drink it over the following three decades. An absolutely stunning wine from this estate, which seems to be on a

1975 Cheval Blanc, St-Emilion
Bid on this bottle of 1975 Cheval Blanc, St-Emilion (95ST, 90RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright ruby-red with a hint of garnet. Enticing floral nose offers very pure raspberry and red cherry aromas, complicated by tobacco and bay leaf notes. Then sweet, dense and smooth in the mouth, with rich red cherry, plum and peppery flavors. Finishes with still chewy but noble tannins and a trace of heat. A great Cheval Blanc that is more massive than usual, showing plenty of concentrated, complex flavors and a wonderfully rich texture. In this vintage, Cheval Blanc benefited from its earlier ripening soils, which allowed the grapes to be harvested at optimal phenolic ripeness, something that eluded other Bordeaux estates that may have picked too early. The harvest took place from September 26 to October 8. This was the first vintage of Cheval Blanc ever sold en primeur. " (10/2011)

1993 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this bottle of 1993 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In 1993, Vieux-Telegraphe was able to harvest virtually all of its crop at sugar levels that produced a wine of 14% alcohol. The outstanding 1993 reveals an impressively saturated dark ruby/purple color, and a spicy, Provencal herb, pepper, black-cherry and raspberry-scented nose with a touch of licorice. Full-bodied, with firm tannin and structure (reminiscent of the 1989), as well as layered richness, this Chateauneuf du Pape has 10-15 years of aging potential. Last tasted 8/96. (RP)" (01/1997)

Kings Farm is the translation of Kongsgaard from the Norwegian. Our family name is tied to our ancestral farm in southern Norway. Nicely concentrated, low in acidity, with superb fruit, and overall harmony, this is a serious effort from a relatively maligned vintage. Sweet, with neither vegetal characteristics nor sharpness." 1990 Graham's Malvedos Centenary Vintage Port
Bid on this bottle of 1990 Graham's Malvedos Centenary Vintage Port (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is the sweetest, most fragrant, and most highly extracted of the three ports I tasted (Symington, Dow and Graham). Its flamboyant, up-front fat and decadence provide more initial appeal than the monstrous but restrained Dow. It also reveals extraordinary richness and a fabulous finish. These single Quinta ports are just as spectacular as any vintage port I tasted from 1983 or 1985." (08/1992)

Of the 2010 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Fay" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Fay stands out for its delineation and nuance. Sweet floral notes meld into plums, menthol black cherries, violets and tar. With time in the glass, the wine fleshes out beautifully. Today the tannins are firm, but once they soften the fruit should begin to emerge more fully. There is plenty of vibrancy and energy in the 2010, although the wine does shut down quickly in the glass. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2030. " (12/2012)

1990 Dow Quinta Bomfim Port
Bid on this bottle of 1990 Dow Quinta Bomfim Port (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I thought this was a staggering example of port. Dow's style tends to be more backward, but this opaque black/purple-colored wine reveals a huge, powerful, intense palate, with gobs of flesh and viscous fruit. There is considerable tannin in the finish. It is a massive port with no indication of excessive alcohol in the finish. A magnificent young, dry-styled vintage port that just goes on and on in the mouth, it should last for 20-30 years. The single Quinta ports are just as spectacular as any vintage port I tasted from 1983 or 1985. (RP) " (01/1993)

1991 Laurel Glen Sonoma Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 1991 Laurel Glen Sonoma Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Proprietor Patrick Campbell's superb Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard on the slopes overlooking the Sonoma Valley has proven to be one of the finest sources for Cabernet in California. The use of traditional winemaking techniques designed not to strip the wine results in a wine that is full of character. The 1991 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals an opaque dark ruby color, as well as a huge nose with aromas reminiscent of leg of lamb cooked over a wood fire and doused with Provencal herbs. The gorgeous, big, meaty, herbaceous, sweet, black fruit aromas and flavors are followed by super-ripe, rich, luxurious flavors. There is plenty of tannin to provide the framework, and the result is one of the most impressive wines I have yet to taste from this superb estate. (RP)" (10/1993)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious, opaque purple-colored 2008 Donelan Syrah Griffin’s Lair (100% Syrah, 50% whole clusters) boasts glorious aromas of flowers, blackberry liqueur, lavender, and subtle hints of smoke, tar, and black truffles. 1983 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien
Bid on this bottle of 1983 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at the Las-Cases off-line at The Square. Many years have passed since I last tasted the ’83 Las-Cases. It is reticent at first, like and old tongue-tied friend entering the room, then it blossoms with aeration offering scents of leather, chestnut, brambly black fruit and freshly rolled tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied with melted red-berry fruits, firm tannins and superb balance. Hints of bell pepper and sandalwood furnish the long, harmonious finish. 2010 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (96RP, 95ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The only one of Christophe’s Syrahs to be co-fermented with Viognier, the 2010 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard (90% Syrah, 10% Viognier) shows the least amount of Cayuse funk and has classic northern Rhone-like aromas and flavors of black raspberry, black pepper, edgy minerality, spring flowers and hints of bacon fat. Gaining additional complexity and nuances with air, it is silky and polished on the palate, with full-bodied richness, a seamless, elegant texture and remarkable persistence and length on the finish. One of those wines that delivers incredible amounts of fruit and texture without ever seeming heavy, it is a brilliant wine that will benefit from a handful of years in the cellar and shine for 10-15 years. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Also offering off-the-charts richness, with a flamboyant, hedonistic profile, the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon (96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc) possesses spice-laced aromas and flavors of cassis, smoke tobacco, roasted meats, dried licorice and wild herbs that are to die for. Full-bodied, incredibly layered, rich and textured it has no hard edges, masses of tannin and a finish that won’t quit. I’ve been lucky enough to taste this cuvee three times (rated 96 and 97) in the past handful of weeks and this was the best showing yet. This thick, opaque-purple colored wine offers up notes of scorched earth, ground pepper, and blackberry liqueur intermixed with cassis, licorice, camphor, and tar. Jus de viande, damp earth, black currant, and blackberry notes along with good minerality and an absence of oak are all present in this full-bodied Syrah. 1962 Latour, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1962 Latour, Pauillac (95RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Latour continues to be one of the great vintages for this chateau. A dense opaque garnet color reveals amber at the edge, as well as an incredible perfume of cedar wood, balsam, coffee, black fruits, leather, and cigar smoke. The wine is supple and full-bodied, with sweet tannin, glorious levels of fruit and extract, abundant glycerin, and a seductive, truffle-flavored finish. While it has been drinkable for two decades, it is capable of lasting another 20 years. It is a perfectly balanced, exciting Latour that remains undervalued as well as underrated. (RP)" (06/2000)

2006 Joseph Drouhin Musigny Grand Cru
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Joseph Drouhin Musigny Grand Cru (95RP, 95WE, 91ST, 90BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Musky floral notes suggesting narcissus, magnolia, and perhaps some sort of exotic orchid mingle in the nose of Drouhin's 2006 Musigny with quinine, birch beer, and kirsch. The palate boasts remarkable richness and sheer viscosity for the vintage – though little superficial sweetness – along with textural refinement that goes beyond even the best of the rest of this year's Drouhin collection. Fruit pit bitterness; brown spices; roasting pan reduction of meat and fat; and an almost palpable sense of chalky and ore-like minerality add to the mystery and invigoration of a vibratory finish. This tastes awfully delicious today, though it should probably be given a few years in bottle. It ought to perform marvelously for at least a decade. (DS)" (12/2009)

Of the 2006 Bond "Pluribus" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar writes: "Saturated bright ruby. Black fruits, mocha and a whiff of truffle on the rather clenched, slightly porty nose. Plush, sweet and large-scaled, but with almost surprising vinosity giving shape to the flavors of dark berries, coffee, mocha and iron. A huge wine with outstanding palate-staining persistence. 1990 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1990 Margaux, Margaux (100RP, 98ST, 98WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I had this wine both in Seoul, Korea in February, and from my cellar in December, 2008, and it was remarkable how identical the wines smelled and tasted. It offers an extraordinary aromatic display of spring flowers, camphor, sweet red and black fruits, a hint of licorice, and no evidence of its 100% new oak cask aging. Round and generous with low acidity, but an opulent, full-bodied richness that is fresh with laser-like precision, this stunning wine is just beginning to reach its plateau of full maturity, where it should remain for another three decades. A sensational effort, it is one of the legendary wines made at Chateau Margaux." (06/2009)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Proprietary Red Cariad reveals great intensity along with abundant notes of unsmoked tobacco leaf interwoven with blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit, charcoal and coffee bean nuances as well as a Pauillac-like lead pencil shaving character ... one of the finest wines I tasted over the 12 days I spent tasting in Napa Valley in late August and early September. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The bottled 2005 Beau Sejour Becot confirms that this is the finest effort from this estate in the thirty years I have been covering Bordeaux. A classic blend of 70% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, it is an intense, full-bodied St.-Emilion revealing notes of espresso roast, chocolate, blackberries, licorice, and truffles. With sweet but noticeable tannins, good acidity, and a powerful, long finish, this textbook St.-Emilion cuts a swath between the modern school of winemaking and the traditionalists. Drinking perfectly now, it’s a soft, smooth sipper, with lush flavors of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, cocoa and cedar. The addition of Merlot brings a soft, mellowed mouthfeel. 1974 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 1974 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Last Tasted 6/94. Like a true thoroughbred, this wine has become more impressive each time I taste it. Among the youngest wines of the vintage, it is reminiscent of a barrel sample, with a saturated purple color and a wonderfully rich, pure nose of cassis, minerals, licorice, and wood. It is completely unevolved aromatically. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with spectacular concentration, layers of jammy, admirably extracted fruit, good underlying acidity, and plenty of tannin in the long finish. If anything, this wine needs another 5-8 years of cellaring. It possesses remarkable balance, with the fruit still outweighing the tannin. (RP)" (08/1994)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Williams Selyem "Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95CG, 92W&S, 91RP, 90ST). Connoisseurs Guide: "Scads of succulent cherries rush to the fore of this opulent effort's dense and yet accessible aromas, and the wine's deep, immensely fruity flavors show the same wonderful combination of richness and immediacy. Rounded, fleshy and very velvety in feel as only frontline Pinot Noir can be, this one is sweetened with a generous dollop of deftly fit oak and smacks of cream and caramel from beginning to end. Its fine sense of balance may guarantee keeping, but it is simply delicious now and requires little further age." (02/2005)

2005 Philip Togni "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Philip Togni "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is a more closed and restrained style of wine, with firm tannins, Bordeaux-like austerity, but dense ruby/purple with notes of menthol, black currant liqueur, coffee, and a hint of olive. The wine is full-bodied, youthful, tannic, and a promising candidate for long-term cellaring. In fact this kind of vintage at Togni generally means laying the wine away for at least a decade, which is always good advice here. This may be a 30- to 40-year Togni Cabernet Sauvignon. 1963 Lafite Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1963 Lafite Rothschild, Pauillac. Famed critic Robert Parker says of Lafite: "Bordeaux's most famous property and wine, with its elegant, undersized, and understated label, had become a name synonymous with wealth, prestige, history, respect, and wines of remarkable longevity." Pauillac, a village located between Saint-Estephe and Saint-Julien on Bordeaux's Medoc peninsula, is home to some of the world's most famous and expensive wines (most obviously those of the first growths Chateaux Latour, Lafite Rothschild and Mouton Rothschild). The village has its own appellation specifically for red wines made predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon – a variety well suited to the free-draining gravel soils found all around Pauillac.

2004 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2004 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (95ST, 94WS, 93RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Slightly hazy appearance. Musky, highly complex aromas of crystallized lemon peel, pineapple and smoke. Fat and sweet but shapely, with wonderfully tactile flavors of pineapple, grapefruit and minerals. As round and seamlessly sweet as this is, there's a restraint to the fruit thanks to its terrific acid/alcohol balance. Finishes chewy and gripping, with powerful ripe fruit flavors. This is from a '71 planting; perhaps due to the age of the vines, the crop level here was a fairly normal 2.5 tons per acre, while Aubert's other three chardonnays, from younger vines, were in the 1 to 1.5 ton range. This vineyard was harvested last, in mid-September, after the extended heat wave subsided." (05/2006)
