2010 Casanova di Neri "Tenuta Nuova" Brunello di Montalcino
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Casanova di Neri "Tenuta Nuova" Brunello di Montalcino (100RP, 99JS, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova is a protagonist of the vintage. The fruit is deep and dark with rich levels of extract, intensity and flavor. It goes far beyond your standard cherry and blackberry to include plum cake, spice bread and bacon-wrapped prune. Nothing is obvious or monochromatic about this wine. Everything is nuanced and ethereal. Tenuta Nuova is also distinguished by the linear mineral notes that are characteristic of this single-vineyard site. In 2010, those traits are especially well-defined and pronounced. The tannins reach a level of suppleness that is almost impossible to find in the sometimes prickly and acidic Sangiovese grape. If there is one thing Giacomo Neri has mastered, it is harvesting at optimal ripeness: He knows his property and his vines better than most and it shows. Collectors will want to put this wi

2012 Carter "Beckstoffer To Kalon-The O.G." Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Carter "Beckstoffer To Kalon-The O.G." Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((92-95ST), 94RP, 94WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(clone 337; from vines planted in the 1980s): Bright ruby. Knockout nose combines cassis, boysenberry, violet, spices, mocha and tobacco. Plush, sweet and fat with fruit; suggests an almost roasted ripeness to its kirsch and spice flavors without coming across as stewy. Really compellingly rich and powerful wine with the serious tannic clout to support a long life in bottle. " (05/2014)

2005 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 96WE, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From a hot vintage and incredible any way you look at it, the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon has that laser-like focus of a cooler year, yet the voluptuousness and richness of a warmer year. Smoked black fruits, coffee, truffle and pen ink-like aromas and flavors all emerge from this massive, incredibly full-bodied effort and on the palate, it carries itself perfectly with a weightless, yet decadent texture, masses of polished tannin and blockbuster length. More classic and textbook than the 2007, it is every bit as good. Enjoy it over the coming two decades or more. Drink now-2033. (JD)" (06/2013)

2006 Sine Qua Non "A Shot in the Dark" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Sine Qua Non "A Shot in the Dark" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (100RP, 98WS, 96ST, 95JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A Shot in the Dark is composed of 96.5% Syrah and 3.5% Viognier from the 11 Confessions Vineyard in the cool Santa Rita Hills. Performing better from bottle than it did from barrel, this prodigious red exhibits incredibly velvety tannins, a seamless style, and no noticeable oak (which is remarkable given the fact it spent 32 months in barrel). Dense purple to the rim with an extraordinary perfume of blueberry pie, blackberries, soy, Asian spices, and hints of forest floor and charcoal, this is a complex, rich, seamless, well-balanced tour de force in winemaking. A full-bodied, exuberant, unabashedly California Syrah, it will offer stunning drinking over the next 10-15+ years. (RP)" (08/2010)

2000 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac (97RP, 94ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is one of the great wines of the vintage, and certainly a candidate for one of the finest wines made at this estate under the management of Christian Seeley and proprietor AXA. Showing incredibly well at two tastings of 2000s, the wine has a dense bluish/purple color and a beautiful nose of incense, melted asphalt, and creme de cassis as well as hints of new saddle leather and licorice. It is superbly concentrated and very pure, with excellent texture and opulence. The acidity seems low, the tannin high but well-integrated. This is a compelling 2000 that is just closing in on its window of maturity and should stay there for at least 20 or more years. Bravo! (RP)" (06/2010)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien (100JS, 100WS, 98RP, 97WE, 95ST, 95W&S). Wine Spectator: "*Collectibles, #5 on the Top 100 Wines of 2003* Absolutely fantastic. This is one of the most exciting young reds I have tasted in a long, long time. It shows intense aromas of berries, currants and minerals, with hints of mint. Full-bodied and packed with fruit and tannins, its long finish is refined and silky. A benchmark for the vintage. Las Cases has always wanted to make first-growth quality in a top-notch vintage, and it certainly did in 2000. Best after 2012. " (03/2003)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Louis Jadot Clos St. Denis Grand Cru ((93-96BH), (92-94RP), 91ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A wonderfully refined and distinctly floral nose with hints of wood spice and powerfully concentrated and ripe fruit marries with intense, precise and serious big-bodied flavors that retain the tender side of a fine Clos St. Denis yet it cedes nothing in terms of power to the Clos de la Roche. There is another dimension here and this is a knockout." (04/2007)

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2008 Bouchard Père et Fils Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru (OWC - 95BH, 94ST, 93RP) in original wood. 95 points Burghound: "A wonderfully, even exuberantly spicy and layered nose speaks of earth, underbrush and a certain animale character on the primarily red berry fruit that moves seamlessly into cool and intensely mineral broad-scaled flavors that are powerful, vibrant and display a saline element on the stylish and classy finish that is presently quite linear and will require plenty of time to flesh out because the suggested initial drinking window is not a typo." (04/10) 93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Bouchard’s 2008 Chambertin Clos de Beze smells of dark cherry and plum, dusty crushed stone, peat, and licorice, Fine grained tannins permit a caressing palate feel that fits the wine’s sumptuously rich fruit, while mineral interest lends its long finish an almost spell-binding sense of interactivity. Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A slightly riper blend of red and blue pinot fruit, violets and plenty of warm earth also suffuses the rich, full-bodied and very serious broad-shouldered flavors. This enjoys an abundance of tannin-buffering dry extract that confers a sappy texture to the driving, complex and hugely long finish. This is a first-rate example of this uneven appellation and well worth considering." (01/2012)

The wine literally floats on the palate with weightless elegance in its intensely perfumed fruit. Crushed flowers and red berries linger on the silky, impossibly fine finish. This is a fabulous effort from Dujac. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2033. " (05/2011)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Pommard Rugiens Bas is delicate and gracious from start to finish. Bright red fruit, hard candy and fresh flowers are some of the many nuances that take shape in the glass. The 2009 reveals considerable aromatic lift and a seamless personality that is totally inviting. De Montille used 67% whole clusters, but their influence is quite marked in the wine. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP, 96VN, 94ST, 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasting the three most recent vintages of the Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon was not only a privilege, but also an intellectual and hedonistic turn-on. The 2010 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is a magnificent wine. Full-bodied and opulent with terrific purity, an intriguing, gravelly, wet stone-like minerality, and a sensational perfume, it has a spectacular finish that lasted over 45 seconds, offering up copious quantities of black currants, black cherries, cedar and vanillin. It is one of the superstars of the vintage. It is accessible now because of the sweetness of the tannins, but make no mistake, there is plenty of structure underlying the luxurious fruit levels. It should drink well for 30+ years. (RP)" (10/2013)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Kapcsandy Family "Grand Vin-State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 96ST, 95JS, 94WS). Made from 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, and the rest tiny dollops of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot...in two weeks of tastings, this wine stood out as one of those singular efforts that it is impossible to get out of your mind and off of your palate. A flawless, seamless, profound example of Napa Cabernet, it exhibits an opaque purple color along with a gorgeous perfume of lead pencil shavings, cedar, creme de cassis, ink, flowers, and espresso roast. 2007 Vietti "Rocche" Barolo
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Vietti "Rocche" Barolo (99RP, 98JS, 96ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Vietti's 2007 Barolo Rocche is shaping up to be one of the wines of the vintage. The bouquet alone is transcendental. The voluptuous, classy Rocche shows off endless layers of fruit in an exciting and totally alluring expression of Nebbiolo. The wine seems to float on the palate, as the essence of geraniums, red berries, hard candy and minerals conquer all of the senses. Fine, silky tannins frame a finish of breathtaking beauty. The Rocche spent a full 5 weeks of contact on the skins. Like all the Vietti Baroli, malolactic fermentation was carried out in French oak after which the wine was racked into large, neutral casks for aging. The 2007 Rocche is the very finest wine I have ever tasted from Vietti. I only hope Alfredo Currado had a chance to taste this at least a few times before he passed away last year. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The recently released 2007 Syrah Labels (89% Syrah, 7% Grenache, and 4% Viognier) comes from the 11 Confessions Estate Vineyard (57%), a small amount from the home estate vineyard in Oak View called Cumulus, and the rest from purchased fruit grown in the White Hawk Vineyard in Los Alamos and the Bien Nacido Vineyard in Santa Maria. A sensational effort, it is performing even better out of bottle than it did from barrel. An opaque purple color is accompanied by beautiful notes of charcoal, acacia flowers, blueberries, blackberries, graphite, and subtle smoke. With great fruit, tremendous texture, and full-bodied power, it is locked and loaded. 2001 Vérité "La Muse" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2001 Vérité "La Muse" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "2001 was the first truly great vintage for Jess Jackson and Pierre Seillan, and that is evidenced by the utterly perfect 2001 La Muse, a blend of 87% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Malbec. Over three-fourths of it came from the Alexander Mountain estate of Jess Jackson, and the rest from Chalk Hill, Knights Valley, and a tiny bit from Bennett Valley. This dense purple-colored effort exhibits notes of licorice, creme de cassis, plum sauce, violets and truffles. Full-bodied with magnificent density, overall equilibrium, stunning purity, sweet but abundant tannin and a fabulous finish, this profound wine remains a baby at age ten. Give it another 5-6 years of bottle age and drink it over the following 35-40+ years. It is very French in style even though one could argue that this level of concentration can only be achieved by a handful of wines from Pomerol and

Giving up tons of blackberry, kirsch, black cherries, pepper, ground herbs and licorice, it's impeccably balanced and manages somehow to deliver an insane amount of fruit and texture in a lively, graceful and elegant style. Grenache at its finest, give bottles 2-3 years and count yourself lucky anytime you're able to drink this elixir. It should have 20-25 years of longevity. (JD)" (09/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 95WS, 94ST, 92JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Broken Stones is sourced from all of the estate’s vineyards, which in this vintage includes Padereweski fruit for the first time, although most of the fruit was sourced from James Berry. Today it comes across as rather tightly wound and implosive, although with air the wine’s potential becomes more evident. Dark cherries, licorice and smoke wrap around the intense finish. Floral notes add the final layers of complexity and nuance. This is another fabulous effort. In 2009 the blend is 60% Syrah, 20% Mourvedre, 12% Petite Sirah and 8% Grenache. Bid on this bottle of 1997 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 97WS, 95WE, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An inky/plum/purple color is accompanied by a stunning bouquet of violets, charcoal, creme de cassis and a hint of toast. Prodigious when it hits the palate with a full-bodied expansiveness, there is not a hard edge to be found in the 1997, only velvety tannins, compelling depth and fruit intensity, and stunning purity. It is a perfect expression of Napa viticulture and wine that should continue to age effortlessly for two decades or more. (RP)" (11/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Rhys "Swan Terrace - Alpine Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (95RP, 95ST, 91BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Pinot Noir Swan Terrace is impeccable. Dark black cherries, plums, exotic spices and orange peel are some of the many notes that take shape in this deeply expressive, layered Pinot. The Swan Terrace is differentiated from some of the other wines in the lineup for its distinctly dark red/black tonalities. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024. (AG)" (08/2012)

1999 Marcassin "Blue Slide Ridge" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this bottle of 1999 Marcassin "Blue Slide Ridge" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (98RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1999 Pinot Noir Blue Slide Ridge is composed of pure black fruits mixed with floral overtones. It is dense, opulent, and nearly viscous with extraordinary purity and concentration. It comes across as a New World version of perhaps Domaine de la Romanee-Conti's La Tache or Richebourg, or a Claude Dugat or Dugat-Py grand cru. It is an awesome effort that falls just short of perfection. (RP)" (08/2002)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Merry Edwards "Olivet Lane" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (95WE, 92CG, 92W&S, 91WS, 90ST). Wine Enthusiast: " *Cellar Selection* Some will critique this Pinot Noir as being too big and extracted, and lacking delicacy. But Olivet Lane Pinots are seldom delicate. You look for massive fruit and elaborate construction, and that’s what you find in this fabulously exotic wine. It’s a beauty, rich, dense and opulent, with complex cherry, rose petal, dark chocolate and new oak flavors, wrapped into firm, refined tannins. Just gorgeous now, with a few hours of decanting, but it will easily develop bottle nuances for a good eight years. " (02/2012)

2013 Sine Qua Non "Résisté" Central Coast Proprietary White
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Sine Qua Non "Résisté" Central Coast Proprietary White (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "the 2013 White Wine Resiste is a sensational white from California that's made from 45% Roussanne, 26% Chardonnay, 14% Petite Manseng, 10% Viognier and 5% Marsanne that spent 19 months in 46% new French oak and the balance in concrete eggs and used barrels. Possessing rock-star levels of richness and texture on the palate, with full-bodied depth and power that never seems heavy or cumbersome, it has classic SQN white notes of buttered golden fruits, honeysuckle, honeycomb, toast and white flowers. Unctuous, full-flavored and still lively and fresh, it needs 2-3 years of cellaring and will keep for two decades. (JD)" (08/2015)

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (98AG,94RP). It needs 5-6 years of cellaring and will hold for two decades beyond that" (2015)

Of the 2011 Williams Selyem "Rochioli Riverblock" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir,Wine & Spirits writes: "This riverside parcel was first planted in 1989 to Joe Rochioli’s own heritage pinot noir selection, supplemented in 2000 with two Dijon clones. Winemaker Bob Cabral’s 2011 is aromatically striking, ranging from floral lavender notes to a stem-inflected cumin scent. There’s a clarity at the center of the wine, the site’s concentration changing focus from fruit depth to long-lasting savory and floral elements: It starts with fruit-driven intensity (dark cherry and red currant), ending on an ethereal, aromatic lift—a long tail. Kaleidoscopic. With a few more years of age, this would be a perfect match fo

Of the 2004 Turley "Grist" Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel,93-95 points Robert Parker writes: "One of the finest Zinfandels I have tasted from Dry Creek is Turley’s 2004 Zinfandel Grist Vineyard. From rocky volcanic mountaintop soils, it is always a whopper in terms of alcohol (15.8% in 2004). The deep ruby/purple-colored, Chateauneuf du Pape-like 2004 boasts a sensational perfume of raspberry jam, scorched earth, pepper, and garrigue. Antonio Galloni: "The tasting ends on a high note, as the 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is deeply expressive, despite its obvious youth. Here it is the wine's sense of energy that stands out most. Vivid, nuanced and structured, the 1999 is a wine to cellar for another 5-10 years at a minimum to allow the flavors to flesh out. Readers lucky enough to own the 1999 who can wait a few years will be very happy. 95+ (AG)" (02/2014)

1987 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 1987 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Chateau Montelena has made so many sensational Cabernets that it seems almost impossible to believe that their 1987 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate could be even more profound than any of the exceptional wines made previously at this property. The black/purple color, the extraordinary bouquet of rich cassis, violets, and licorice, the massive extraction of flavors, sensational depth, super ripeness, and a length that must last over a minute, suggest to me that this is easily the most concentrated and potentially longest-lived Cabernet Sauvignon that Chateau Montelena has ever made. The extract level is incredible, yet the balance is there. Anticipated maturity: 1997-2025." (10/1993)

It exhibits a deep plum/purple color as well as a beautiful perfume of graphite, burning embers, charcoal, sweet kirsch, black currants and hints of licorice and cedar.
