Bid on this magnum lot of 2012 Fuligni Brunello di Montalcino (1.5L) (OWC - 95JS, 95WE, 93VN, 92RP, 92WS) in original wood. Wine Enthusiast: "Forest floor, aromatic herb, dark spice and eucalyptus aromas come together with a floral twist. Bright and elegant, the palate shows succulent wild cherry, white pepper, star anise and chopped mint flavors. With its taut, fine-grained tannins and firm acidity, it needs time to unwind and fully develop. Drink 2022–2032. *Cellar Selection* (KO)" (04/2017)

Bid on this magnum lot of 2010 Il Poggione "Vigna Paganelli" Brunello di Montalcino Riserva (1.5L) (OWC - 98RP, 97JS, 95VN, 94WS, 92WE) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Vigna Paganelli is a phenomenal achievement and a wine that captures not only the spirit of this classic vintage, but the true essence of an age-worthy wine like Brunello. This single vineyard Riserva is sharp, pristine and immaculate. It starts slow and shy, but then blossoms to beautiful intensity and aromatic brilliance. It delivers a very authentic and genuine read of Sangiovese with wild berry aromas followed by pressed violets, wet earth, tobacco and lightly toasted spice. The bouquet is seamless and very long in persistence. The same holds true for the mouthfeel. The wine delivers a fine and silky texture with a good dose of power and personality at the rear. 98+ (ML)" (03/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Cliff Lede "Poetry" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94VN, 93W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The quintessential expression of an elegant Stags Leap Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Poetry (86% Cabernet Sauvignon) combines elegance with power. Layered and full-bodied with an ethereal lightness as well as touches of oak and tannin, it is gorgeously pure and textured yet strikingly long and intense. Bursting with flavor, but neither heavy nor cloying, give it 3-4 years of cellaring, and enjoy it over the next 25+ years. (RP)" (12/2009)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon emerges from the red soils of the eastern foothills of Oakville. The wine has gorgeously pure blackberry and cassis fruit with a touch of underlying earth and spice box, medium to full-bodied flavors, and seamless integration of acidity, wood, alcohol and tannin. Once again, it provides a gorgeous freshness, precision and stunning youthfulness, despite being ten years of age. (RP)" (06/2015)

Of the 2009 Malescot-St-Exupéry, Margaux,James Suckling writes: "A wine, with intense spice and berry character, with hints of sweet tobacco. It changes all the time from flowers to fruit and wet earth. Full-bodied, with super fine tannins and ripe fruit. It's long and juicy with lovely fruit. Super long and beautiful, with fine tannins that last for minutes. Tight now, but juicy and gorgeous. Best ever from here. Try in 2020." (02/2012)

2004 Hundred Acre "Ancient Way Vineyard, Summer's Block" Barossa Valley Shiraz
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Hundred Acre "Ancient Way Vineyard, Summer's Block" Barossa Valley Shiraz (94WE, 92ST). Wine Enthusiast: "Incredibly dark in color but light on its feet, this wine somehow manages to hide its 15.5% alcohol under fruit that’s neither overblown or jammy. Spice- and herb-driven complexity is the order of the day, with scents of violets lending an exotic note to the aromas. It's mouthfilling and palate-coating but wonderfully balanced, picking up hints of black olive and espresso on the lingering finish. Good now, but appears to have the stuff to evolve over at least 10–15 years." (11/2007)

2012 Rudd "Samantha's" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Rudd "Samantha's" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 92WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Samantha's shows a deeper, inkier expression of Oakville Cabernet. Inky blue and black fruit, smoke, licorice, tobacco and graphite meld together as the 2012 opens up in the glass. Mocha, plums and incense add nuance. Many of the lots are fermented in barrel, which gives the finished wine much of its signature intensity and tannin profile. Ideally, readers should give the 2012 another few years to soften, as the tannins are quite pronounced. (AG)" (10/2015)

Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a gorgeous, entry-level wine for the estate. Dark cherry, plum, mocha, licorice, spice and gravel are all pushed forward. This is an unusually forward wine although there is plenty of the typical savory/graphite notes that are so typical of this site. (AG)" (02/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Domaine Groffier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Sentiers" ((88-91BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Interestingly for two vineyards that are relatively near one another, this is much more aromatically elegant and fine though it does display the same toasty oak hints on the nose. The sappy, rich and full-bodied flavors are wonderfully complex and completely coat the palate on the lengthy backend. There is also more Chambolle character in evidence as this is a wine of finesse despite the generous and forward sappy texture. *Outstanding*" (01/2005)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Vietti "Castiglione" Barolo (93RP, 92JS, 92ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Barolo Castiglione deftly balances the open, radiant personality of the vintage with considerable underlying structure. Warm, dense and full-bodied, the 2007 Barolo Castiglione flows effortlessly across the palate with generous fruit and fabulous overall balance. The wine was even better when I tasted it from bottle a few months later. It is another overachieving wine from Vietti and a bottle that is exceedingly fairly priced. (AG)" (02/2011)

Of the 2002 Torbreck "Descendant" Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "There are 1,000 cases of the 2002 Descendant, a blend of 92% Shiraz and 8% Viognier that spent 18 months in 2-year-old French oak. The fruit is sourced from the section of the Barossa Valley known as Marananga. The Viognier and Shiraz are co-fermented together, and the name, Descendant, comes the fact that it is essentially the same blend as the famed Run Rig, but sees no new oak. A magnificent effort, the dense ruby/purple-colored 2002 Descendant offers gorgeous aromas of crushed blackberries, raspberries, licorice, acacia flowers, and the added notes of honeysuckle and

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95VN, 94ST, 93CG, 93JS, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The incredible 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot treated identically to the Reserve Claret (40% new French oak aged in wood for 22 months prior to bottling). There are nearly 1,500 cases of this wine, with 60% coming from the Sonoma side and 40% from Napa. An absolutely amazing nose of camphor, lead pencil shavings, blackberry and cassis, some new saddle leather, a touch of spicy oak followed by a profoundly concentrated, multi-dimensional mouthfeel with gorgeous integration of acidity, tannin, wood and alcohol. 2005 Levy & McClellan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC)
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Levy & McClellan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 95RP, 94ST, 94VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A limited production of a very powerful and massive wine from two of California’s most famous winemaking gurus, Bob Levy and Martha McClellan, this wine remains primordial and backward, especially for a 2005. Loads of graphite notes interwoven with cassis, new saddle leather, blackberry and earth are impressive. It may sound unusual, but what came to mind is tasting some of the more recent vintages of Château Montrose in St-Estèphe in Bordeaux. This wine still needs another 5-6 years of cellaring easily. This masculine, vigorous, bigger-than-life, full-throttle wine will evolve for another 25-30 years. 95+ (RP)" (06/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Magrez Fombrauge, St-Émilion (93RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Rich and full, this modern-styled, beautifully made, majestic, rich, multidimensional St.-Emilion boasts a dark plum/purple color. All the oak has been absorbed, but, surprisingly, there is not a lot of difference between this wine and the regular cuvee of Fombrauge. Nevertheless, this is fuller and richer with plenty of life remaining. Enjoy it over the next decade. (RP)" (04/2014)

2000 Troplong Mondot, St-Emilion
Bid on this bottle of 2000 Troplong Mondot, St-Emilion (96RP, 92ST, 92WE, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Extremely young with an unbelievable deep purple color, the 2000 Troplong Mondot has hardly budged since I tasted it in 2003. Two recent tastings confirmed that this is the greatest Troplong Mondot between their profound 1990 and more recent vintages such as 2005, 2008, and 2009. Copious chocolate, graphite, blackberry, blueberry, cassis, and ink characteristics are present in this full-bodied, powerful, massive St.-Emilion. While the tannins are noticeable, they are better integrated than they were seven years ago, and the fruit, extract, and richness clearly outweigh the wine’s structure. This 2000 will benefit from another 4-5 years of cellaring (longer than I originally predicted), and has at least two decades of drinkability ahead of it. (RP)" (06/2010)

James Suckling: "This really does have a wonderful texture that is reminiscent of great pinot noir while remaining obviously cabernet franc and merlot. It shows a seductive nose of cream, berries, chocolate and flowers. It's full-bodied, very intense and seamless in length. Pure class. Drink now and enjoy but will improve for years ahead." 2009 Carlisle "Palisades Vineyard" Napa Valley Petite Sirah
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Carlisle "Palisades Vineyard" Napa Valley Petite Sirah ((94-96RP), 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another wine for readers who suffer from clogged arteries is the massive, super-tannic, phenomenally concentrated 2009 Petite Sirah Palisades Vineyard. Made from Napa Valley fruit and tipping the scales at 16% alcohol, this wine possesses a boatload of glycerin and concentration. It is a 30-40-year wine given the glacial pace at which Petite Sirah evolves. A dense purple color is accompanied by scents of graphite, blueberry liqueur and ink as well as hints of oak and crushed rocks. The wine is so concentrated, full-bodied and intense that it is nearly painful to taste. In spite of the stratospheric level of the tannins, they are remarkably sweet and well-integrated. 2005 Clos de Sarpe, St-Emilion
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Clos de Sarpe, St-Emilion ((89-92ST)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Full, bright ruby. Brooding aromas of kirsch, black licorice and minerals. Sharply delineated and very tightly wound, but with superb intensity of black fruit, chocolate, earth and mineral flavors and excellent inner-palate energy. This mounts very slowly on the back, finishing with a youthfully sappy quality, firm tannins and impressive length. This wine from a chalky hillside on the Cotes east of the town of St. Emilion is typically high in acidity (the pH of the 2005 is 3.55), austere and downright unsexy in its youth, but this especially juicy 2005 boasts richer fruit than any recent vintage. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru les Suchots, which comes from the domains century-old vines on more clayey soil than the Beaumonts, has a pixilated bouquet with vibrant red currant and cranberry scents, more floral than the aforementioned premier cru. The palate is medium-bodied with supple juicy tannins, a fine line of acidity and a tangy marmalade-tinged finish that coats the mouth in spicy red fruit. 2001 La Tour Blanche, Sauternes
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 La Tour Blanche, Sauternes (96RP, 93WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The La Tour Blanche 2001 has long been the “insiders’ Sauternes” for the vintage. Leave the Yquem ’01 for the millionaires: load up on one of the finest recent vintages from the estate. It has a potent honeyed, frangipane and white flower-scented bouquet with subtle nougat scents in the background lending it an exotic edge. The palate is extremely well balanced with fine acidity effortlessly slicing a swathe through that unctuous, honeyed fruit. There are also understated marmalade notes with a suggestion of crème brûlée furnishing the weighty finish that goes on and on. Just don’t tell anyone how good this La Tour Blanche is...promise? Roasted redcurrant, plum and a whiff of animal fur on the very ripe nose. Lush and generous in the mouth, with impressive concentration. Finishes with very suave tannins for the vintage, a port-like suggestion of surmaturite and sweet oak. (ST)" (01/2000)

2005 Willi Schaefer Graacher Domprobst Riesling Spätlese #7
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Willi Schaefer Graacher Domprobst Riesling Spätlese #7 (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Graacher Domprobst Riesling Spatlese A.P. #7 opens with a gauzy film of fermentative aromas, which then lifts to reveal lovely lemon, apple and floral and sweet herbal scents. It comes onto the palate juicier and fresher in its appley fruit and citrus than the Kabinett, and also much more satisfyingly saturated with crushed stone slate. In the long finish, subtle suggestions of caramelized pear and apple as well as of nut cream, emerge which, taken with the fresh fruit, bitter-sweet herbs and musky flowers, as well as a vivid slate mineral base, add up to a complexly-layered, yet infectiously drinkable result. Bid on this magnum lot of 2010 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 98RP, 98VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Old Sparky, made from clone 4, 6 and 337, displays a dense opaque purple color as well as an incredible nose of graphite, cedarwood, incense, licorice, Christmas fruitcake, vanillin and abundant blackberry and black currant liqueur. Gorgeously rich and textured with a nearly endless finish, this super intense, full throttle wine needs 5-7 years of bottle age and should drink well over the following 25-30 years. It was aged 20 months in 100% new oak barrels. (RP)" (10/2013)

Of the 2013 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon, CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "There is something ethereal about the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS, a wine that I tend to give more perfect scores to than of the other Schrader offerings. This is clone 4 from a special block of the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville, and it always seems to have these incredible, explosive aromatics ranging from blueberry to blackberry to cassis to spring flowers and lead pencil shavings. It’s always one of the more seductive wines early on, with sw

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1996 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (95CG, 93RP, 93ST, 92WS). Connoisseurs Guide: "Back on track after its relatively austere showing the year prior, Hillside Select rebounds in 1996 with one of its richest, most succulent renditions to date. Currants, black cherries and sweet oak abound still, and the wine does a fine balancing act between being slightly supple and polished and still having an appropriate backbone of varietal tannins. It outdoes the vintage in terms of its richness and range and sheer wealth of fruit, and it has the right pieces in all the right places to grow for a good many years. *Three Stars*" (03/2007)

Tight and in reserve. Phenomenal depth of fruit. This is so deep. I love it. Just a baby. A wine you really have to get to know. You have to feel it. Reminds me of the 1989 Rayas. 1995 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1995 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (95JS, 95RP, 95VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Bottled in June, 1997, this profound Mouton is more accessible than the more muscular 1996. A blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 19% Merlot, it reveals an opaque purple color, and reluctant aromas of cassis, truffles, coffee, licorice, and spice. In the mouth, the wine is 'great stuff,' with superb density, a full-bodied personality, rich mid-palate, and a layered, profound finish that lasts for 40+ seconds. There is outstanding purity and high tannin, but my instincts suggest this wine is lower in acidity and slightly fleshier than the brawnier, bigger 1996. Both are great efforts from Mouton-Rothschild. (RP)" (02/1998)

2000 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2000 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 92ST, 90RP). Vinous: "Do you want the good news or the bad news? Well, Ridge's 2000 Monte Bello is still not ready to drink. Huge, rich and voluptuous, but backed up be serious structure, the 2000 is still a very, very young wine. Readers who own the 2000 should be thrilled. With time in the glass, the 2000 starts to open up a little bit aromatically, but the tannins remain imposing. Hints of tobacco, iron, smoke, savory herbs, leather and licorice all add nuance on the close. This dramatic, brooding Monte Bello will likely drink well for another three decades. In 2000, Montebello is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. (AG)" (07/2013)

1988 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1988 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92VN, 91RP). Vinous: "A layered, impeccably graceful wine, the 1988 Opus One is all about textural harmony and balance. Sweet, silky tannins wrap around the expressive fruit in a wine that stands out for its overall harmony. Dark plums, leather, tobacco and spices linger on the polished finish. This is another Opus One that relies more on balance than on pure size. The Cabernet Sauvignon is quite low in this vintage at 85%, while Cabernet Franc, at 13%, is much more pronounced. A dollop of Merlot rounds out the blend. (AG)" (06/2013)

2013 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96JS, 96RP, 94VN, 94WE, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An absolute stunner is the 2013 Proprietary Red Wine, a blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 6% Malbec and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. This is all mountain fruit from primarily the Stagecoach Vineyard and another site in Rancho Chimiles. Beautiful floral, smoky, blackcurrant notes mixed with acacia flowers and forest floor jump from the glass of this dense, full-bodied, concentrated and age-worthy wine. Like most 2013s, this is a 30-year wine with remarkable concentration, color and fruit extract. Forget it for another 3-4 years, and drink it over the following 30+ years. Pahlmeyer certainly has one of the most consistently superb resumés for the last 30 years that any winery could desire. (RP)" (12/2016)

At once muscular and fine, combining superb spicy power with great purity of fruits and minerals. This very intense young Meursault boasts an element of lift shown by too few 2005s today. Finishes with terrific length and mineral spine; really ricochets around the retronasal passage. This was aged in 40% new oak. 93+ points. (ST)" (09/2007)

2012 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, (93-96ST), 96VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The classic 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon included fruit from the 2-acre, old vine parcel that is nearly 70 years of age. It boasts an opaque purple color as well as copious notes of spring flowers, blackberries, black raspberries and wet rocks. The wine’s gravelly minerality and spectacular opulence and density make it an instant classic. This massive, full-bodied 2012 should drink beautifully for 15-20+ years. It showed incredibly well last year, and it still reveals the potential to possibly merit a 3-digit score – it’s that special. (RP)" (10/2014)

2000 La Mission Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan
Bid on this bottle of 2000 La Mission Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (100RP, 95JS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the wines of the vintage, the 2000 has barely budged in its evolution since it was bottled and released in 2002. After ten years in bottle, it still reveals a dense opaque purple color along with a potentially sensational bouquet of blueberries, black currants, graphite, asphalt and background oak. Extremely powerful, full-bodied and superbly concentrated with good acidity and high but round tannins, this massive La Mission-Haut-Brion should take its place among this estate’s most hallowed vintages when it hits full maturity in another one to two decades. I was surprised by just how youthful this wine tasted at age 12. If tasted blind, I would have guessed it to be around 4 to 5 years old. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2050. (RP)" (08/2012)

Complex and full-bodied, with hints of new oak and wonderfully polished tannins that caress the palate. Long, long finish. This is not the blockbuster it was from barrel, but rather a complete, balanced and gorgeous red. Best after 2015. (JS)" (06/2008)

1998 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 1998 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru (94RP, 91BH, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted blind at Harry Gill’s annual lunch. The RSV ’98 has a rounded, sensuous nose with aromas of mulberry, raspberry, a touch of leather, mint and dried herbs. The palate is medium-bodied, quite robust with firm, what you might describe as “big-boned” tannins more reminiscent of a gutsy Chambolle. Nonetheless, it exhibits superb concentration and great weight in the mouth, leading to a slightly meaty, Musigny-like finish that lacks the finesse of Romanee-St.-Vivant. As DRC’s go, one might describe this is a ‘burly’ RSV, but still utterly enjoyable. Drink now-2020. Tasted February 2010. (NM)" (07/2010)
