2005 Domaine Faiveley Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru “Morgeot”
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Domaine Faiveley Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru “Morgeot”. Tasting notes from the winery: "A pale yellow colour. The delicate mix of fine floral aromas and woody scents makes the nose complex. The attack is round. On the palate, this wine has beautiful structure with very satisfactory acidity which counterbalances the sensation of smoothness and fullness from being raised in oak. It is rich, and really long-lasting."

Of the 2014 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Leading off the wines from barrel, the 2014 Booker Vineyard is inky colored and downright unctuous, with tons of fruit, chalky minerality, full-bodied richness and no shortage of structure. One of the superstars in California is undoubtedly the humble, soft spoken, yet incredibly talented Justin Smith, who has had the reins at Saxum since 2000. And while a lot of winemakers would have been content to stick with the tried and true at this point, Smith continues to question, experiment and fine tune everything he does. Today, his wines are

Of the 2009 Turley "Rattlesnake Ridge" Howell Mountain Petite Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "It was difficult to chose a favorite although the 2009 Petite Syrah Rattlesnake Ridge, Hayne Vineyard and Library Vineyard are the three greatest in terms of concentration, depth and potential complexity. As I have said so many times, Petite Sirah is by far the most underrated varietal in California, so it is reassuring to see how many producers continue to make remarkable wines with around 13-14% alcohol as well as 20-40+ years of aging potential. 1999 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1999 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac (93JS, 93RP, 91WS, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The beautiful 1999 Mouton Rothschild may be a modern day clone of their 1962 or 1985. Its saturated ruby/purple color is followed by sumptuous aromas of cedar wood, creme de cassis, wood smoke, coffee, and dried herbs. The wine is forward, lush, and full-bodied. It is already complex as well as succulent, fleshy, and long. Tannin in the finish suggests more nuances will emerge in 4-5 years. It is a complex, classic Mouton. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2030. 2006 Aubert "Reuling Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (1.5L)
Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2006 Aubert "Reuling Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (1.5L) (93ST, 92RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good full, deep red. Deeply pitched aromas of red plum, raspberry, wild strawberry, cola, underbrush and earthy spices, all lifted by a floral element. Sappy, sweet, dense and thick, with impressive extract to the raspberry and underbrush flavors. This is huge without coming across as aggressive, and the tannins are wonderfully fine-grained. As has been his habit in making red wines for years, Aubert uses a spike of heat during the middle of the fermentation to get more sweetness and gras in his wines. (ST)" (06/2008)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Cayuse "Impulsivo" Walla Walla Valley Tempranillo (OWC - (95-97RP)) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A longer term prospect will be the 2014 Impulsivo, which is 100% Tempranillo brought up in puncheons. It has tons of black and blue fruits, smoked earth and graphite, as well as full-bodied richness, building tannin and top-notch purity. It has a lot of tannin, so it won’t be one to open right on release. (JD)" (06/2016)

2015 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (1.5L)
Bid on this 1.5 liter 1-bottle lot of 2015 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (1.5L). Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Based out of Sebastopol, Kosta Browne’s Dan Kosta, Michael Browne and Chris Costello continue to fashion a bevy of brilliant Pinot Noirs from a number of sites spread throughout California. The big news at this estate, however, was the purchasing of a controlling interest by J.W. Childs Associates out of Boston. Concerning the impact of this change to the wine, the winemaking remains untouched and nothing I heard during my visit gave me pause concerning the quality of this estate going forward. In addition, Browne and John Childs (the CEO of J.W. Childs Associates) have previously worked together in the past with their Cirq label, so I think Kosta Browne lovers can rest easy. Going forward, this team is increasingly looking to own and farm their vineyards, so expect quality to hold steady or even increase."

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93WE, 93WS, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Cask 23 reveals more oak on the nose, but is a much deeper, richer, fuller wine than the S.L.V. Dense ruby/purple to the rim, beautiful blackberry and cassis fruit, cedar wood, toast and earth jump from the glass. Full-bodied and layered, but with nothing out of balance, this is probably the strongest Cask 23 since the glory years of the mid-80s. Look for this wine to drink well young, yet age effortlessly for 25 years. (RP)" (12/2015)

2014 Carlisle "Hayne Vineyard" Napa Valley Zinfandel
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Carlisle "Hayne Vineyard" Napa Valley Zinfandel ((92-94RP), 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I’ll just briefly summarize the 2014s. It was the earliest vintage ever for Mike Officer and probably he’ll beat that early harvest record in 2015. In this case, he was finished by October 6, which was a first, and it will be interesting to see if he eclipses that in 2015, which was looking even earlier. The production levels were relatively abundant for Mike Officer and the wines fruit-forward, although softer and less reserved than some of the 2013s. While not quite as opaque in color, they are loaded with fruit, supple and luscious. The only white wine, the Grüner Veltliner Steiner Vineyard, makes an appearance in 2014, and it’s another beauty – it’s crisp and the only wine in bottle. The other wines all stood out and will, no doubt, merit outstanding ratings across the board for their intensity, richness, and full-bodied power. If you already know what

2010 Rhys San Mateo County Pinot Noir
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2010 Rhys San Mateo County Pinot Noir (94RP, 92WS, 91ST, 90BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The entry-level 2010 Pinot Noir (San Mateo County) is simply fabulous. Rich dark cherries, crushed flowers, mint and spices burst from the glass. This is a hugely delicious wine from Rhys. The 80% whole clusters are nicely balanced by the sheer depth of the fruit. This is a flat-out stunning wine from Rhys. In 2010, the San Mateo is the entry-level Pinot. The 2010 is bottled under San Mateo appellation, as it includes declassified fruit from a broader range of vineyards than the typical collection of sites from the Santa Cruz Mountains. Once again, an appellation-level Rhys Pinot shines. The 2010 San Mateo is without question the hidden gem in this lineup. I imagine it will also provide much more enjoyment earlier than the vineyard designates. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020. (AG)" (08/2012)

2007 Abreu Howell Mountain Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Abreu Howell Mountain Bordeaux Blend (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The riveting 2007 Howell Mountain exhibits aromas of black raspberries, blueberries, crushed rocks and flowers along with full-bodied power accompanied by an ethereal delicacy and sublimity that make it a haunting wine to smell and taste. It should drink well for 25+ years. I am increasingly impressed with Abreu’s Howell Mountain Proprietary Red wine. The blend tends to be about two-thirds Cabernet Sauvignon, 20-25% Cabernet Franc and 10-15% Merlot and Petit Verdot. A completely different animal than the Cappella or Madrona Ranch (which both come from lower elevation vineyards), this cuvee reveals extraordinary notes of crushed rocks and a liqueur of minerals in a steely, full-bodied, powerful style that possesses both intensity and finesse. 1967 Lynch Bages, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1967 Lynch Bages, Pauillac. Wine Spectator: "The success of Château Lynch-Bages is often thought of as a recent development. In truth the property has been making excellent wines for decades, but it was only in the 1980s, when current owner Jean-Michel Cazes began traveling abroad to promote his wine, that the estate gained its worldwide reputation.... Lynch-Bages is a classic Pauillac wine estate. Its signature wine emphasizes Cabernet Sauvignon (which makes up about three-fourths of the blend, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a splash of Petit Verdot). Its wines are aromatic, with lots of currant and plum on the nose; the palate is full, rich and tannic. Lynch-Bages wines need time to mellow, especially in great years." (11/2007)

2004 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Also offering off-the-charts richness, with a flamboyant, hedonistic profile, the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon (96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc) possesses spice-laced aromas and flavors of cassis, smoke tobacco, roasted meats, dried licorice and wild herbs that are to die for. Full-bodied, incredibly layered, rich and textured it has no hard edges, masses of tannin and a finish that won’t quit. I’ve been lucky enough to taste this cuvee three times (rated 96 and 97) in the past handful of weeks and this was the best showing yet. From a cool vintage, it is still youthful and vibrant, and will continue to shine for another 15+ years. (JD)" (06/2013)

The most powerful and assertive of this set of Pinots, offering pungent dark berry and floral aromas and sexy incense and Asian spice qualities. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Rivers-Marie "Silver Eagle Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95VN, 91BH, 91ST). Vinous: "Deep and powerful, the 2012 Pinot Noir Silver Eagle Vineyard is especially brooding in this vintage. Black cherries, tar, smoke and licorice all burst from the glass in an explosive, full-bodied Pinot. This is one of the more reticent wines in the range, with a burly personality that is going to take some time to fully come together. Initially quite dark, the 2012 brightens up considerably with time in the glass, suggesting a future with plenty of potential. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1994 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 93VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1994 boasts an inky/purple color along with a glorious nose of black raspberries, blackberries and black currants that is still somewhat primary despite nearly 18 years in bottle. The Phelps team kept this cuvee in 100% new French oak for 28 months. Its magnificent structure, intensity and purity of fruit, ripeness, balance combined with authoritative power and the magnetic appeal of this full-bodied, Bordeaux-styled wine are extraordinary. Dense purple in color, deep, rich, broad, with plenty of tannin and concentration as well as noticeable oak, this wine is a massive Cabernet meant for long-term cellaring. James Suckling: "Super fresh, this is striking given the 10 years in the cellars; it has a fine citrus nose - plenty of lemon, grapefruit, yellow chalky notes, some lighter floral elements too. The palate is super dry (dosage at 3-4g) and there's a silky, sherbet-like texture, smooth, fine and long. The citrus flavours give way to the driving surging acidity, thunderous acidity, really driving and powerful. The finish twists very slowly through to light-toasted cashew fruit flavours, but lemon citrus prevails. This is thrilling Champagne. Disgorged 22nd October, 2013. Drink from 2016. " (05/2014)

There are roughly 800 cases of this elixir and any Grenache lover should do their best to latch onto a bottle (or two). It’s also worth noting that this cuvee saw 26% whole clusters, which is a small change from past vintages. (RP)" (

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Clos St-Jacques" Vieille Vignes (96RP, 94ST, 92BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos St. Jacques engages all of the senses with its cool, mineral-laced fruit and expressive bouquet. This shows marvelous tension and energy, not to mention fabulous overall balance. It could not be more different in style than the 2009 tasted alongside it. Both are fabulous, though. The 2008 is one of the more backward wines of the vintage and will require considerable patience. Anticipated maturity: 2023-2033. (AG)" (05/2011)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 La Mission Haut-Brion Rouge, Pessac-Léognan (100JS, 98RP, 98ST, 97WE, 97WS). James Suckling: "This is crazy. The nose is so unique with the iodine, stones and currant aromas with wet earth and mushroom. Aromas like this don't usually come out until 10 years or so in the bottle. Classic nose for this estate. Full-bodied, with an amazing palate of firm yet polished tannins and a solid palate. So dense and gorgeous. It is really stunning. Try in 2020." (02/2013)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Roulot Meursault 1er Cru "Clos Des Bouchères" (94RP, 93BH, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Meursault Clos des Boucheres has referenced the 'clos' on the label since the 2011 vintage. Jean-Marc told me that the clos tends to produce a more elegant wine than 'Boucheres' although there is different rootstock, so it probably a combination of those two factors. The 2012 has a slightly more herbaceous bouquet than the Porusot, with touches of nettle and Japanese mirin – introspective, bashful at first but growing in confidence in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with a slight viscosity on the entry, a little more phenolic, with almond, hints of fennel and lemongrass. This is a totally absorbing and cerebral Meursault. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Serafin Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru ((92-95BH), 93RP, 93ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "*Don't miss!* A subtle but not invisible application of wood frames fresh, cool, pure and remarkably complex aromas of various red berries, underbrush, game and plenty of earth. There is excellent richness to the full-bodied and overtly powerful big-bodied flavors that brim with palate coating dry extract that also pushes the tightly coiled tannic spine to the background on the long, balanced and wonderfully complex finish. Impressive." (01/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1996 Robert Arnoux Romanee-St-Vivant Grand Cru ((93-96RP), 94ST, 92WS, 91BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Displaying a brilliant, dark ruby with traces of purple color and an enthralling violet, cherry, raspberry, cassis, rose blossom, and grilled oak-scented nose, this wine is a stunner. This velvety-textured, full-bodied, superbly-balanced, refined, powerful, and intense wine is filled with highly detailed - yet explosive - plump cherries, blackberries, and plums. It is one of those magnificent red Burgundies that seemingly combine the muscle and strength of a body-builder with the grace and elegance of a ballerina. It possesses enormous depth of fat, sumptuous, and deeply ripe fruits that drench its substantial yet supple tannins. This prodigiously long wine offers red currants, raspberries, Asian spices, and new wood flavors in its spectacular finish. (PR)" (08/1998)

1999 Nöel Verset Cornas
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1999 Nöel Verset Cornas (94VN, 91ST). Vinous: "From an outstanding northern Rhône vintage, Verset's 1999 Cornas is still youthfully fruity and floral on the nose, offering aromas of fresh red berries, candied flowers and peppery spices, with a smoky mineral nuance slowly emerging. Juicy black raspberry and cola flavors expand in the mouth and pick up hints of cola and licorice, along with a touch of succulent herbs. Bitter chocolate and fruitcake notes emerge on the finish, which features dusty tannins and a jolt of juicy acidity. I'd hold onto this one for a while as it drinks like a much younger wine now and holds excellent promise. (JR)" (01/2015)

Of the 2013 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon, CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "There is something ethereal about the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS, a wine that I tend to give more perfect scores to than of the other Schrader offerings. This is clone 4 from a special block of the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville, and it always seems to have these incredible, explosive aromatics ranging from blueberry to blackberry to cassis to spring flowers and lead pencil shavings. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Dominique Mugneret Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru ((91-93BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A more subtle and better integrated touch of wood adds a bit of nuance to the elegant and high-toned anise, clove, cinnamon and hoisin-infused black berry fruit nose and this spiciness continues onto the rich, ripe and strikingly intense flavors that are sweet and suave yet manage to retain a fine sense of detail on the seductive and notably long finish. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A remarkable wine, the 2010 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select has gone from strength to strength since it was in cask. It is stunningly rich, with classic, fragrant notes of blackcurrants, blackberries, vanilla, graphite and spring flowers. It exhibits an opaque purple color, with a full-bodied, massive mouthfeel, but no heaviness, and again, a flawless integration of acidity, tannin, alcohol and wood. It’s classic California Cabernet, but beautifully put together, showing impeccable craftsmanship and fabulous potential. This is obviously a very young, infantile style of Cabernet that won’t hit its prime for at least another decade and last close to half a century, based on how older vintages that were less well-endowed have matured from Shafer. 1995 Colgin "Herb Lamb Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Colgin "Herb Lamb Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97VN, 93ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I realize perfection in wine, like perfection in anything, is in the eyes of the beholder, and there are those who believe perfection is simply unobtainable. But in my mind, the 1996 and 1995 come close to perfection. Why? First of all, these extraordinary expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon are awesomely concentrated and endowed, while at the same time elegant and amazingly harmonious. The equilibrium between the wines' component parts - new oak, alcohol, tannin, acidity, and extract - is right on, with nothing out of place. The 1996 and 1995 could be mistaken for identical twins, although close examination reveals that the 1995 has a slightly firmer tannic edge, and the 1996 slightly lower acidity. However, both possess Colgin's tell-tale opaque black/purple color, phenomenal aromatics consisting of blackberries, raspberries, blueberries,

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine Raveneau Chablis "Valmur" Grand Cru ((93-96ST), 96VN, 95BH, 95RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Pale color. Subtle, reticent aromas of pear and stone. Densely packed and impressively intense; at once oilier and less exotic than the Blanchots. Very strong notes of wet and crushed stone along with a strong grapefruit piquancy. Voluminous and fine-grained grand cru. This is much less explosive today than the Blanchots but more harmonious and longer on the aftertaste. (ST)" (07/2011)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine J-F Mugnier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Fuées" (92RP, 91JG, (88-91ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuees impresses for its superb textural richness. Dark red cherries, flowers, mint and spices are woven together in a fabric of notable beauty. There is plenty of tannic material, but the fruit is so dense the wine’s structural elements are a bit in the background. The wine continued to close down in the glass, which is likely to be quite positive for its aging potential. Despite the massive temptation to drink this early, my impression is that patience will be rewarded. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2029. (AG)" (04/2012)

Bid on this 2-half-bottle lot of 2013 Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé Musigny Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes (375ml) (96BH, 96RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Musigny Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru has a succinct nose, more introverted than the Bonnes-Mares at the moment, a little earthier perhaps, gradually unfurling with touches of iris, potpourri and rose petals. The palate is underpinned by succulent ripe tannin, very fine acidity and decidedly linear towards the finish, but extraordinarily long in the mouth with tangible mineralité. There is enormous potential locked up in this Musigny that deserves at least a decade in the cellar. One of the wines of the vintage? Quite possibly. (NM)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Sine Qua Non "The Thrill of Stamp Collecting" Syrah (95RP, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Syrah The Thrill Of impresses for its poise and underlying energy. Dark fruit, spices, licorice and violets sit on a core of firm tannin as this powerful wine opens up in the glass. Today, The Thrill Of comes across as very, very young. The intensity of the fruit and the oak are dominant at present. In another few years the wine should be spectacular. 1990 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1990 Margaux, Margaux (100RP, 98ST, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I had this wine both in Seoul, Korea in February, and from my cellar in December, 2008, and it was remarkable how identical the wines smelled and tasted. It offers an extraordinary aromatic display of spring flowers, camphor, sweet red and black fruits, a hint of licorice, and no evidence of its 100% new oak cask aging. Round and generous with low acidity, but an opulent, full-bodied richness that is fresh with laser-like precision, this stunning wine is just beginning to reach its plateau of full maturity, where it should remain for another three decades. A sensational effort, it is one of the legendary wines made at Chateau Margaux. (RP)" (06/2009)
