2008 World's End "Crossfire-Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC)
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 World's End "Crossfire-Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 90ST) in original wood. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Red-ruby. Blackberry, black raspberry, licorice, flowers and sexy oak spices on the nose. Juicy and penetrating in the mouth, with terrific verve and a brisk acid impression to the flavors of cranberry, cassis, bitter chocolate and licorice. Almost too much acid here for me. Tannins saturate the entire palate on the dusty finish. (ST)" (06/2011)

2010 Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Pucelles"
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Pucelles" (95JS, 95RP, (94-95ST), 95WE, 94BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Puligny-Montrachet Pucelles is a totally complete wine. It brings together the expressive bouquet and minerality of Combettes with some of the expressive fruit of the Folatieres. Vivid and multi-dimensional in the glass, the Pucelles wraps around the palate with serious intensity. Citrus, white flowers and green pears linger on the highly nuanced, refined finish. Today, though, the 2010 is incredibly tight. Its pedigree is impossible to miss. Leflaive’s Pucelles is easily one of the highlights of the vintage. (AG) 95+" (08/2012)

2012 Alban "Reva" Edna Valley Syrah
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Alban "Reva" Edna Valley Syrah (97RP, 95WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 750 cases (which means good yields for John, although any normal person would call 1.5-1.75 tons per acre financial suicide) of the 2012 Syrah Reva Alban Estate Vineyard, and it's a terrific vintage for this cuvee. Elegant, pretty, even finesse driven, with its classic marine and salty bouquet of smoke, purple fruits, olives and violets, this full-bodied Syrah has no hard edges, integrated acidity and a great finish. It's reasonably approachable now, but deserves 2-4 years of cellaring. After the cool, and then cold, 2010 and 2011 vintages, 2012 through 2014 is a return to the more generous, layered and voluptuous style of wine that this estate is known for. Looking at the 2013s, this was a more elegant and firm vintage for most of the State, yet these wines from John are loaded with fruit and texture, with incredible polish, ripeness and sweetness to their tann

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (97VN, 96CG, 95ST, 95WE, 93WS, 92W&S). Vinous: "Taittinger’s 1996 Comtes de Champagne is another highlight. The flavors are only now beginning to show elements of complexity, a great sign for aging. Gently spiced and buttery notes suggest the 1996 is about to enter the early part of its maturity, where it is likely to stay for another decade or so. (AG)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Rhys "Horseshoe Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (95RP, 95VN, 94JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine I think is the best vintage to date, the sensational 2014 Pinot Noir Horseshoe Vineyard comes from one of the top sites in all of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Incredibly complex, with layers of sweet black cherries, black raspberries, barnyard, wild herbs and spice, it has medium to full-bodied richness, a pure, impeccably balanced texture and a great finish. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Merlot Three Palms Vineyard is a straightforward offering with good balance and plumpness in its fruit. Sweet floral notes wrap around the finish. In 2008 the blend is 79% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. (AG)" (12/2011)

2012 K Vintners "Cattle King - Upland Vineyard" Snipes Mountain Syrah
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 K Vintners "Cattle King - Upland Vineyard" Snipes Mountain Syrah (99RP, 95WE, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the greatest Syrahs coming out of Washington is the 2012 Syrah Cattle King, and it's every bit as good as the more widely known Royal City Syrah. Coming from the Upland Vineyard on Snipes Mountain, my notes start with 'wow,' and then include a few more expletives. Exhibiting sensational notes of blackberry, cassis, licorice, crushed flowers, crushed rocks and graphite, this inky colored 2012 is full-bodied, massively concentrated and seamless, with incredible purity and length. If I had a bottle, I'd drink it tonight. Nevertheless, I'm sure it will evolve gracefully for at least another decade.(JD)" (06/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Piranha Waterdance" California Syrah (100RP, 99JD, (95-97VN), 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Blended of 81% Syrah, 8% Petite Sirah, 6% Mourvèdre, 4% Touriga Nacional and 1% Graciano, sourced from 34% The Third Twin, 35% Eleven Confessions and 31% Cumulus (all estate vineyards), the provocative, inky purple colored 2014 Syrah Piranha Waterdance was made using 26% whole cluster and hits the scent scene with exuberant, pure crème de cassis, blackberry cordial and blueberry coulis notes with hints of espresso, licorice, garrigue and menthol, plus a gorgeous underlying perfume of red roses. The full-bodied palate is oh-so-elegant and pretty, revealing very finely pixelated tannins that beautifully frame the almost electric intensity, culminating in an epically long, licorice and chocolate-laced finish. Too stunning for mere words and rude to even try--just drink it. (LPB)" (09/2017)

Full-bodied and very sweet, with fantastic concentration of ripe and botrytized fruit, yet balanced and refined. Electric acidity. Lasts for minutes on the palate. This is absolutely mind-blowing. This is the greatest young Sauternes I have ever tasted. Best after 2010. *Wine of the Year 2004* (JS)" (09/2004)

Full-bodied with super freshness and balance that then shows an incredible finish with an electrical aftertaste. Vibrant. Tingling. Better in 2018 but so wonderful to taste now. Wow. Makes you want to drink it! This is from a very clay-soiled hillside vineyard. March 2016 release." (07/2015)

With the power, though, comes elegance, resulting in a wine that is ready to develop over many years." (06/2008)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Monbousquet, St-Émilion (94RP, 93ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A beautiful effort from Monbousquet, this 2005 comes across to me as one of their strongest efforts, with notes of toasty oak, black cherry and blackcurrant fruit as well as some licorice, incense and flowers. Full-bodied and opulent, this is an amazing wine from a terroir on the so-called “wrong side” of St.-Emilion. Drink it over the next 15 or more years. It is an amazing performance. (RP)" (06/2015)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The more serious grand vin twin, the 2005 d’Issan, has a stunning nose of spring flowers, blackcurrant and blue/black fruits galore, and an impressively opaque dark plum/purple color. With a rich, concentrated and pure mouthfeel, wonderfully sweet tannin, full-bodied density and richness, but elegance in abundance, this is a stunner, and one of the great Margaux of the vintage. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Dom Pérignon "Luminous" Brut Champagne (97VN, 96JS, 96W&S, 95WS, 94ST). Vinous: "One of the stars in this tasting, the 2004 Dom Pérignon is starting to express the potential it hinted at as a young wine. Specifically, the 2004 has gained quite a bit of volume and overall depth within the last few years. The first signs of aromatic nuance are starting to develop, which suggests the 2004 will soon enter its first plateau of maturity. (AG)" (07/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 94RP, 94WS, 93W&S). Vinous: "The 2012 Monte Bello is one of the most harmonious young Monte Bellos I can remember tasting. Seamless and voluptuous through to the finish, the 2012 is showing beautifully today. Raspberry jam, pomegranate, white flowers, mint and spices are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. A wine with a distinctly red-hued profile, silky tannins, no hard edges and exceptional overall balance, the 2012 Monte Bello is simply magnificent. The 2012 is racy but also impeccably balanced throughout, with shades of the 2001 that come through from time to time. I won't be surprised if the 2013 and 2014 both eventually surpass it, but there is no denying that the 2012 is simply stunning today. This is one of the best showings yet for the 2012. 1982 Latour, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1982 Latour, Pauillac (100DC, 100RP, 100VN, 98JS, 98WS, 97ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Always somewhat atypical, the 1982 Latour has been the most opulent, flamboyant, and precocious of the northern Medocs, especially the St.-Juliens, Pauillacs, and St.-Estephes. It hasn't changed much over the last 10-15 years, revealing sweet tannins as well as extraordinarily decadent, even extravagant levels of fruit, glycerin, and body. It is an amazing wine, and on several occasions, I have actually picked it as a right bank Pomerol because of the lushness and succulence of the cedary, blackberry, black currant fruit. This vintage has always tasted great, even in its youth, and revealed a precociousness that one does not associate with this Chateau. However, the 1982 is still evolving at a glacial pace. The concentration remains remarkable, and the wine is a full-bodied, exuberant, rich, classic Pauillac in its aromatic and flavor profiles...This remarkable effort wi

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Sine Qua Non "Le Supplément" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (100JD, 100RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Coming entirely from the Eleven Confessions Estate Vineyard and composed of 89% Syrah, 6% Petite Sirah, 3% Grenache and 2% Viognier, using 28% whole cluster, the 2013 Syrah Le Supplement is just starting to evolve into beguiling earthy/meaty tertiary notes with suggestions of sandalwood, mossy bark, black soil, patchouli and salami over a core of blackberry compote, preserved plums, mincemeat pie and star anise with a touch of dried lavender. Rich, concentrated and decadent, the full-bodied, opulent palate explodes with black fruits preserves peppered by meaty/savory nuances and culminating in epically lingering exotic spice notes. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98JS, 98WE, 97CG, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " ... The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select is a perfect wine. It elicits more than a few 'wows' when you smell the incredible notes of charcoal, graphite and subtle toast, buttressed and dominated by blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry fruit. The purity of these fruits, the multidimensional mouthfeel, the seamless integration of acid, alcohol, tannin and wood are all flawless. The 2012 signature adds an extravagant opulence and density that is just mind-boggling, and the wine is a total hedonistic and intellectual turn-on already, although it has 30+ years of life ahead of it. Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2012 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (98RP, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Of the three Beckstoffer Vineyards, it’s pretty much a joyride as to which one readers may prefer. The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane moves more toward the wet rock, blueberry, raspberry fruit spectrum, but still stays dark and foreboding, very concentrated and full-bodied. The great terroir comes through and the wine is distinctive, singular, opulent and rich. Another fabulous success from Paul Hobbs and one more showcase wine for this great vineyard. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1988 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grands Echézeaux Grand Cru (95RP, (90-93JG), 92WS, 91BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I have been telling people for years that this domaine's 'best buy,' if such a label can be applied here, is the Grands Echezeaux. While it is not Romanee-Conti or La Tache, it often comes very close to those two titans, at a fraction of the price. In 1988, it is fabulous. In fact, my unedited tasting notes had the words 'fabulous' in them twice and 'awesome' once. Gap's Crown, comprised of steep hillsides and sweeping elevation changes, is all about a professional singular focus on Pinot Noir. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Merry Edwards "Klopp Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (97CG, 94WE, 91WS). Connoisseurs Guide: "It is not that this wine is bigger or bolder than its stablemates. It just seems that way because its generous aromas seemingly jump out of the glass, and the layered quality of those aromas reinforces the notion that this is top-notch Pinot. Its full and supple impressions at entry are followed by ripe, deep and deliciously fruity flavors of sweet red cherries, toasted bread, rich, creamy oak and hints of dried raspberries. Its initial hints of velvet might suggest early drinking, but this is a Pinot with lots and lots of potential for growth. *Three Stars* " (06/2010)

2012 Pride Mountain Sonoma County Cabernet Franc
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Pride Mountain Sonoma County Cabernet Franc (93RP, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A brilliant effort is the 2012 Cabernet Franc (83% Cabernet Franc and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 18 months in 40% new French oak). This beauty reveals plenty of forest floor, mulberry, black cherry and incense scents. The complex aromatics are followed by a medium to full-bodied, beautifully rich wine that is never heavy or overbearing. Enjoy it over the next 5-7 years. (RP)" (10/2014)

2014 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2014 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer to Kalon Vineyard, coming from clones 4 and 337 from that famous first-growth Oakville vineyard of 90 acres. Remarkably, the Robert Mondavi winery still owns even larger portion of the To Kalon Vineyard, but certainly doesn’t exploit it to the extent that most purchasers of Beckstoffer To Kalon fruit do. This cuvée of 450 cases is closer to a Château Latour in a great vintage than you might believe, since it’s from Napa Valley. Notes of graphite, charcoal, blackcurrant liqueur and cedar wood are followed by a muscular, full-bodied wine with fabulous purity, a skyscraper-like texture and a long, long finish, with moderately sweet, ripe tannin. Give it several years of cellaring and drink it over the following three decades, as it is a fabulous effort. 97+ (RP)" (12/2016)

2011 Sine Qua Non "Patine - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Santa Rita Hills Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Sine Qua Non "Patine - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Santa Rita Hills Syrah (98RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine that needs to be forgotten in the cellar for 5-6 years, the 2011 Syrah Patine checks in as a blend of roughly 97% Syrah and the balance Roussanne and Viognier. It too comes all from the estate's Eleven Confessions Vineyard and saw 39 months in 63% new French oak. Backward, tight, concentrated and structured, with full-bodied richness and depth, it gives up Guigal La Landonne like aromas and flavors of graphite, sweet oak, smoked meats, pepper and black raspberry and cassis-like fruit. While it shows the vintage's cooler nature, it has a stacked mid-palate and will evolve gracefully for 15-20 years. (JD)" (08/2015)

2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98WE, 96RP, 95ST, 94WS). Wine Enthusiast: "The 2006 flagship Cabernet from Quilceda Creek is a massive wine that has just begun to emerge from its slumber. When first released the wine seemed to have entered a dumb phase, but six months later it responds to decanting and shows its muscle. Fruit flavors of black, brandied cherries, cassis and bourbon-soaked plums are wrapped in generous, layered oak. The wine is dusty, smoky, laced with streaks of licorice and brightened with sharp acids. It continues to expand further in the glass, adding flesh and spice to its frame, with a cedar/cigar box finish. *Cellar Selection* (PG)" (03/2010)

Of the 2010 Rhys "Alpine Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay,Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar writes: "Pale yellow, with a green hue. More mineral-driven than the Horseshoe bottling, displaying scents of candied citrus fruits, pear, anise, honeysuckle and sea salt. Pure and incisive on the palate, with strikingly pure lime, lemon and pear flavors complicated by floral and mineral qualities. Lingers with outstanding intensity, leaving notes of iodine, licorice and lime zest behind. (ST)" (05/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Domaine du Clos du Caillou "Reserve les Clos du Caillou" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98RP, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The largest scaled and most concentrated in the lineup is easily the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape La Reserve, which is 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre that was raised all in demi-muids. Just a flat out sensational bottle of wine, it offers tons of black currants, licorice, roasted meats and toasted spice aromas and flavors in a full-bodied, seamless, perfectly balanced style that’s drunk well since release. It’s great today, but has another decade or more of longevity. (JD)" (02/2017)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese Mosel (95W&S, 93RP, 93WS, 92ST, 92WE). Wine & Spirits: "Some of Prüm's releases in this decade have been more fruit-forward and less overtly yeasty than in the past, but this wine feels like a Prüm Spätlese of old: Tightly restrained and stubbornly closed behind a wall of youthful fermentation aromas, it takes its time to reveal subtle detail and silky depth of fruit. It's infused by the haunting blue-slate character for which the vineyard is renowned, and while it undoubtedly packs more richness and ripeness than a Prüm wine of 20 years ago, it maintains a similar feeling of delicacy, purity and grace." Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Pauillac (95RP, 93WS, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Unbelievably rich, multidimensional, broad-shouldered wine, with slightly more elegance and less weight than the powerhouse 1996, this gorgeously proportioned, medium to full-bodied, fabulously ripe, rich, cassis-scented and flavored Grand-Puy-Lacoste is another beauty. It should be drinkable within 4-5 years, and keep for 25-30. This classic Pauillac is a worthy rival to the other-worldly 1996. Anticipated maturity: 2002-2025. (RP)" (02/1998)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Riesling Spatlese Niederhauser Hermannshohle is clear, pure and mineral on the nose, displaying lemon juice and crushed slate rocks, really refreshing. Sweet, rich and piquant on the palate, this is a vibrant and salty wine full of intensity, finesse and purity, quite young and firmly structured, very expressive and long. So salty! (SR)" (01/2015)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the perfect wines from Shafer is the 2007 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select. Think it over – in the first decade of the 21st century, Shafer scored three perfect scores and two 99s – that’s about as high a praise as I can give any producer in the world. Opaque purple in color, the 2007 has a stunning nose of sweet crème de cassis, black cherries, licorice, and toasty oak, a multilayered, full-throttle personality, and a texture that builds and builds. Great purity, fabulous fruit intensity and a richness without heaviness characterize this massive, prodigious effort from Shafer. It’s still very young, despite this vintage, which seems to be maturing precociously. I don’t believe this wine will hit its stride for at least another 5-10 years and drink well for at least 2-3 decades. (RP) " (12/2014)

Of the 2012 Littorai "Mays Canyon" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir,Vinous writes: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Mays Canyon captures all the potential I sensed last year. Dark, rich and powerful in the glass, the 2012 offers a compelling array of dark red and purplish fruit, smoke, cloves, menthol and new leather. 2011 Alban "Reva" Edna Valley Syrah
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Alban "Reva" Edna Valley Syrah ((94-96RP), (92-94VN)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "All of the 2011 Syrahs will be in bottle by the time you read this. The 2011 Syrah Reva Alban Estate Vineyard offers a cool-climate, pretty and perfumed style to go with lots of pepper, violets, iodine and dark fruits, with just a hint of vanilla and oak. Full-bodied, fresh and lively, with bright acidity and fine tannin, it's a Northern Rhone look-alike that will have 15-20 years of longevity. I had a great visit with John Alban, whose estate is located at the southern end of the Edna Valley and in one of the coolest AVAs in California. Despite this, he makes some of the most concentrated, rich and age-worthy reds and whites from the entire state... As for the 2011s, this was the coolest vintage on record in California and the smallest crop ever for Alban. The wines are distinctly different from past vintages, and dare I say, have plenty of northern Rhone-like charac

2015 Aubert Carneros Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Aubert Carneros Chardonnay. Robert Parker writes: "Mark Aubert continues to set the bar incredibly high for the world-class quality of his Burgundian-styled, remarkable Chardonnays, which come from relatively cool sites spread from Rutherford in Napa Valley to the far reaches of the Sonoma Coast. As I indicated last year, Aubert is at the top of his game, and it is hard to believe any Chardonnay winemaker in the world is turning out a half-dozen Chardonnays at this qualitative level year in and year out. He has had an incredible run of great success, after being mentored by none other than the reclusive and supremely talented Helen Turley when he took over the winemaking job at Peter Michael, then proceeded on to impressive sojourns at Colgin Estate as well as Tom Futo’s winery in Oakville."

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Péby Faugères, St-Emilion (100RP, 94WS, 93JS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A perfect wine in this vintage, the 2005 Péby Faugères has the classic liqueur of blueberries and spring flowers. Dense purple and full-bodied, with unbelievable richness, this tastes like a great Napa Cab from the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, even though there’s no Cabernet Sauvignon in it. This is a sensational wine – rich, full and multi-dimensional, with a skyscraper-like mid-palate and finish. Kudos to Péby Faugères for producing one of the perfect wines of the vintage. James Suckling: "I believe that the 2005 DP is the best since 2002, which remains the best recent vintage and is probably only eclipsed by the amazing 100-point 1996. The 2005 is a full-bodied DP with so much richness and loads of ripe fruit such as pineapple and papaya. It has a wonderful, creamy texture and a long and intense finish. It’s a Champagne that fully satisfies but at the same time challenges you with its strength, depth and persistence on the palate." (07/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Torrin "Tsundere" Paso Robles Red Blend (95RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Tsundere is all estate fruit and is made from 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Tannat, 13% Grenache and the rest Syrah. Full-bodied, concentrated and yet polished and seamless (which is surprising given the large percentage of Tannat), it reveals loads of complexity in its rose petal, spice, spring flowers, chocolate and exotic red and black fruits.
