2002 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, (92-94WS), 92ST, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon is a glorious example of elegance combined with power, purity and richness. A compelling wine in all senses, it reveals a haunting bouquet of acacia flowers, raspberries, blueberries, black currants, graphite and pen ink. The sweetness of the tannins and medium to full-bodied, extraordinarily poised and breathtaking mouthfeel that builds incrementally is all about nobility and balance. It is an honor to taste this special wine. Drink it over the next 20-25 years. As I have always said, if there is a Chateau Margaux to be found in Napa Valley, it is Beth and Mary Novak’s iconic Spottswoode winery, situated on the back streets of St. Helena. (RP)" (06/2012)

2006 J.-J. Confuron Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru (1.5L)
Bid on this 3-magnum lot of 2006 J.-J. Confuron Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru (1.5L) (94BH, 93ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "As is usually the case, there is an extra dimension of aromatic depth and breadth with superior elegance as well though that is of course to be expected. The notably ripe yet fresh and pure nose ranges from red, blue and black crushed fruit aromas nuanced by spice, floral and subtle earth hints that are picked up on the intense, concentrated and hugely long finish. This has just as much dry extract as the Clos de Vougeot and the length here is stunning plus in this case, the class definitely shows." (01/2009)

2013 Aubert "UV Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Aubert "UV Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (96RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The rich, prodigious, full-bodied 2013 Pinot Noir UV, made from the Calera and Vosne-Romanée clones, is a denser, richer wine offering abundant notes of blueberries, blackberries, forest floor and strong hints of Asian hoisin sauce, dark fruits and forest floor. There are approximately 1,000 cases of this sensational Pinot, which Mark Aubert decanted 12 hours in advance of my visit. There is not a trace of new oak in this wine, which spent 10 months in 100% new barrels. Like all the 2013 Pinot Noirs, it has a decade or more of aging potential." (12/2014)

2013 Saxum "Heart Stone Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Saxum "Heart Stone Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend ((94-96RP), (92-94VN), 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Checking in as a blend of 43% Syrah, 41% Grenache, and 16% Mourvèdre, the 2013 Heart Stone Vineyard is the most fruit-loaded, forward and approachable of the '13s. Black raspberries, kirsch, spring flowers and pepper all emerge from this full-bodied beauty and it has the purity, prettiness and elegance of the vintage. It will drink nicely on release and have at least a decade of longevity. If you're looking to try one of the '13s right on release, this is the one. (JD)" (08/2015)

2007 Boisson-Vadot Meursault 1er Cru "Les Chevalières"
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Boisson-Vadot Meursault 1er Cru "Les Chevalières" (90ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium yellow. Captivating, high-pitched nose combines lemon, white peach, powdered stone, smoke, flint and iodine. Then broad, dense and sweet but with brisk acids, a pungent crushed stone element and strong extract keeping the mid-palate under wraps today. Silky and quite full for the year but with firm acid/mineral spine giving this wine real grip. Finishes long and quite refined. A lovely 2007 for cellaring. (ST)" (09/2010)

2002 Ridge "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2002 Ridge "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95RP, 94ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 Monte Bello Proprietary Red is a blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot. It tastes as if it hasn’t changed since I first sampled it in late 2003 and then again in bottle two years later. The color is healthy ruby/purple, and the wine displays some dusty, oaky, vanillin notes that jump out of the glass along with a touch of white chocolate as well as red and black currants and hints of cedar and forest floor. Extremely young and full-bodied, with some wood char still present, it is unevolved and tastes like it could be a barrel sample, except that it has been in bottle for nearly ten years! This is a blockbuster Ridge Monte Bello that still needs a minimum of another 10 years of bottle-age and should keep for 50+ years. 95+ (RP)" (06/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Hundred Acre "Precious" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 94ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the silky 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Precious boasts amazing amounts of creme de cassis, licorice, spring flowers, charcoal and graphite. The quintessential Woodbridge wine, it is busting with sensuality, exuding enormous fruit, and built like a skyscraper. Abundant notes of cassis and the soft, velvety tannins are fabulous. This wine can be drunk now or in 20-30 years. (RP)" (10/2013)

2013 Rhys "Home Vineyard" San Mateo County Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Rhys "Home Vineyard" San Mateo County Pinot Noir (95RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Following the Family Farm release, the 2013 Pinot Noir Home Vineyard has more minerality to go with pretty red fruits, spice and mountain wild flower-like nuances. It has plenty of fruit, yet has a core of tight tannin and acidity that only shows on the finish. Textured, balanced, layered and nuanced, it's a classic Rhys Pinot Noir that has everything you could want. Drink it over the coming decade. (JD)" (10/2015)

Bid on this 3-magnum lot of 2011 Domaine de la Pousse d'Or Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des 60 Ouvrées" (1.5 L) (93BH, 93RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2011 horizontal tasting in Beaune. The Volnay 1er Cru Clos des 60 Ouvrées 2011 has a very attractive, ebullient floral bouquet with dried rose petals and lavender infusing the crushed strawberry and raspberry scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a keen thread of acidity; taut and linear and yet with great intensity on the sophisticated, intellectual finish. The terroir shows really well here – a Volnay with plenty of panache and pedigree. You can approach this now, but it will improve. This is one of the best Volnays out there. (NM)" (09/2014)

2010 Sine Qua Non "Five Shooter" Central Coast Grenache
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Sine Qua Non "Five Shooter" Central Coast Grenache (98RP, 97VN, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A similar blend (75% Grenache, 16% Syrah, 2.5 % Mourvedre, 4.5% Roussanne and 2% Viognier) and also a brilliant bottle of wine, the 2010 Grenache Five Shooter spent 20 months in 75% used barrels, with the balance in concrete and new French oak. Seamless and elegant, with the house richness and texture, it gives up thrilling, floral-tinged aromas and flavors of red berry fruit, flower oil, spice, white pepper and licorice to go with a full-bodied, layered mouthfeel that keeps you coming back to the glass. Wine Enthusiast: "Always one of Williams Selyem’s top Pinot Noirs, the 2007 is a spectacular wine. The vines are the closest to the river in the famed Rochioli vineyard, and the resulting wine always has an elegant structure and fruity accessibility that make it drinkable at a younger age. 2011 David Duband Clos Vougeot Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2011 David Duband Clos Vougeot Grand Cru. David Duband is a young, Beaune Wine School-educated vigneron, yet another of the new generation of French winemakers trying to revitalize family vines whose fruit had long been sold in bulk to negociants. Since his first vintage in 1991 (when he was still a student!), David's wines have improved every year, and he has been working to increase the domaine's holdings. Now practicing 100% organic farming, he crafts rich, fairly masculine reds, using up to 55% new oak; however, the terroir is unmistakably etched into every wine. Whereas his first few vintages were oak-driven, he strives today to make more elegant wines that express their place of origin.

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2002 Domaine William Fevre Chablis Grand Cru "Vaudesir" (93ST, 92BH, 91RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Very pale, green-tinged color. Steely aromas of powdered stone, lime blossom and petrol. Then suave and penetrating, with terrific citricity and cut. And yet this dense, rather powerful wine is not at all hard. The flavors of lime and talc coat the entire palate. Offers great intensity and palate presence without any undue weight. Superb. (ST)" (07/2004)

2007 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa County Claret
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa County Claret (95CG, 95RP, 94WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Its opaque purple color is followed by a beautiful flowery nose revealing notions of blueberry pie, blackberries, cassis and a hint of vanillin in the background. An opulent, full-bodied red with great depth, purity and richness, it is a blend of 82% Sonoma fruit and 18% Napa fruit. The texture is like a skyscraper and the wine is plush, opulent and ideal for drinking over the next 10-15 years. This brilliant estate, whose vineyards straddle the Napa/Sonoma county line at the top of Spring Mountain, continues to turn out a bevy of exciting wines that first made headlines when Bob Foley was the winemaker. The transition from Foley to the current winemaker, Sally Johnson, has gone flawlessly." (12/2010)

2009 Cayuse "En Chamberlin" Walla Walla Valley Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2009 Cayuse "En Chamberlin" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (99WE, 97RP, 96WS, 95ST). Wine Enthusiast: " *Editors' Choice* In a vintage that produced the finest overall lineup of Cayuse wines to date, it may seem a little nit-picky to score some higher and some lower. But the En Chamberlin deserves first place again. Brilliant aromatics of smoked meat, bacon fat and otherworldly roasted accents seduce instantly. Once on the palate, the silky, balanced, near-perfect mix of umami and fruit, plus licorice, cassis, coffee liqueur and black tea notes suggest it's as decadent as it is delicious." (03/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Rivers-Marie "Summa Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (91BH, 91ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good full medium red. Reticent nose hints at strawberry and loam. Then surprisingly sappy on the nose, with considerable weight and power to the very ripe red and orange fruits. This is chewy and dense almost in a 2007 style, but can't quite match the Occidental Ridge example for nuance. Finishes very ripe but firm-edged, in need of some patience. (ST)" (06/2010)

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Domaine Leflaive Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru (98JS, 97VN, 94BH, 94ST, (90-93RP)). James Suckling: "This was part of a lunch yesterday at an amazing high-end Japanese French fusion restaurant (two Michelin stars) called Wagyu Takumi in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The 2002 Batard is just opening up now with superb density and depth of ripe fruit that offers dried mango, honey and hints of white pepper. It feels like a red Burgundy in the mouth. It's full and intense with an oily undertone. This has a long life ahead of it. " (02/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Alban "Lorraine" Edna Valley Syrah (100RP, 97WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Named after his raven-haired Irish wife, the 2006 Syrah Lorraine, which comes from more sandy soils, is another prodigious effort. Like all of these wines, it is a remarkable wine of extraordinary intensity, with a stunning nose of blueberries, bacon fat, camphor, and even darker blackberries, along with unreal minerality and definition for a wine of this size and power. Full-bodied, with profound intensity of flavor as well as purity, this is another wine that spent nearly three and a half years in barrel prior to being bottled unfined and unfiltered. There is fine detail to the intense, cool and pure medium weight plus flavors that possess superb depth on the strikingly persistent finish. Black cherries, menthol, spices and new leather are some of the nuances that flow as this expansive Brunello literally covers every inch of the palate. 2002 Moet & Chandon "Cuvée Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2002 Moet & Chandon "Cuvée Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (1.5L) (98VN, 96W&S, 95RP, 95WS). Vinous: "The 2002 Dom Pérignon speaks to opulence and intensity. Rich, layered and voluptuous in the glass, the 2002 shows off its flamboyant personality with flair. Butter, cooked apple and tropically-leaning fruits mesh together effortlessly. Interestingly, with time in the glass the 2002 gains in freshness and energy without losing its essential opulence. The elevated ripeness of the year gives the 2002 Dom Pérignon distinctly Puligny-Montrachet leaning inflections. Chef de Caves Richard Geoffroy adds that August that year was hot and very dry. Rain towards the end of the month and into early September freshened the vines and accelerated the final phase of ripening. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Gros Frere & Soeur Vosne Romanée 1er Cru ((90-92VN), 91WS, 90RP). Vinous: "Dark cherries, plums, cloves, menthol, licorice and violets all flesh out in the 2012 Vosne-Romanée. Rich, powerful and seductive, the Vosne 1er Cru is built on pure breadth and resonance. I expect the 2012 will drink well relatively early, as it is already quite supple and expressive, but it also has more than enough radiance and pliancy to develop nicely for another decade or so. Hints of tobacco, earthiness and spices linger on the close. (AG)" (01/2014)

Suave, penetrating black raspberry and cherry flavors show excellent depth and power but no excess fat. Becomes spicier and more floral with air and finishes sweet, sappy and very long. 1998 Giacomo Conterno "Cascina Francia" Barolo
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Giacomo Conterno "Cascina Francia" Barolo (94ST, 93RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Amber-edged medium red. Multidimensional nose of rose petal, redcurrant, plum, mocha, minerals and spices. Wonderfully silky and spicy, with lovely harmonious acidity giving it near-perfect balance. This struck me as distinctly Burgundian in style. Showing lovely fruit and perfume today, and perhaps deceptively drinkable. Finishes with sweet tannins and ineffable perfume. A real essence of Barolo made according to traditional methods, but with uncommon purity of fruit owing to careful elevage I note that this wine knocked me out two years ago as well. Of the 2009 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Wine Enthusiast writes: "This wine continues a long-standing tradition, showing a mastery of the art of blending. It's made using grapes that are sourced from at least six vineyards scattered from Yountville to St. Helena. Right out of the bottle, it's a soft, smoothly tannic wine that's rich in blackberry jam, black currant, blueberry, raspberry, dark chocolate and spice flavors. The wine, which contains small amounts of Petit Verdot and Malbec, is so powerful, it easily carries the 100% new French oak. Sappy and penetrating on the palate, offering intense red and dark berry and floral pastille flavors sharpened by zesty acidity. Packs a serious punch and comes off as energetic and lithe, with slowly building tannins giving shape to a long finish tinged with flowers and earth. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1996 Delarche Pernand-Vergelesses "Boutieres" Reserve Vieilles Vignes. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "It reveals a black color with traces of deep purple on the rim of the glass, and an unbelievable depth of black cherry, sweet candy, and perfume on the nose. This massive, chewy, medium-to-full-bodied, and hyper-concentrated wine is packed to the gills with pure and super-ripe blackberries, boysenberries, metals, and stones. 2012 Passing Time Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Passing Time Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93WE, 93WS, 90ST). A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc that comes mostly from the Discovery Vineyard, it was vinified in stainless steel and aged 21 months in 80% new French oak. Classic Cabernet on the nose, with ample blackcurrants, cassis, damp earth, licorice and mint, this beauty is full-bodied, nicely concentrated and has integrated acidity building underlying structure. It will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and have two decades or more of ultimate longevity. Hats off to this team for a killer first release! (JD)" (06/2015)

Of the Bollinger "Special Cuvee" Brut Champagne, Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Outstanding* There is lovely complexity to the distinctly yeasty nose that combines high-toned green apple, pear, white flowers and gentle citrus nuances. The clean and sleek flavors are supported by a crisply firm but fine mousse where the finish is medium dry and lingering. It's not all that often that I suggest that readers cellar NV Brut but this is an example that absolutely cries out for it. I suspect that the texture will materially change for the better (i.e. become creamier) and better depth will be in the offing as well. Put it this way: this is a perfectly good Champagne right now but with 4 to 7 years of bottle age it could be first-rate and I would suggest buying it only if
