2013 Cliff Lede "Poetry" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC)
Bid on this magnum lot of 2013 Cliff Lede "Poetry" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 100RP, 93VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Poetry reveals a rather inky, bluish/purple color. A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot, this wine is super-youthful and still tastes somewhat like a barrel sample. It’s bursting with upside potential. Inky purple to the rim, with notes of crème de cassis, black cherry liqueur, licorice, spice and a touch of vanilla, this is a full-bodied, concentrated and an utterly profound wine that may represent the greatest wine that Cliff Lede has made to date. Forget it for another 5-6 years and drink it over the following 30 years. (RP)" (12/2015)

2013 Dalla Valle "Maya" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Dalla Valle "Maya" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 97VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The flagship wine, and one of the first in Napa Valley to emphasize the fabulous potential of Cabernet Franc in specific terroirs, is the 2013 Maya Proprietary Red Wine. This wine usually spends about 22 months in new oak and normally has anywhere from 45% to as much as 60% Cabernet Franc blended with the estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2013 could well be the finest they’ve made to date, and that includes a lot of profound wines. An incredibly complex nose of charcoal embers, blackberry and cassis, some blueberries as well as white flowers, and a touch of forest floor is followed by a full-bodied wine with sweet, well-integrated tannins, a multi-dimensional mouthfeel, and a finish that goes on for close to a minute ... 2010 Turnbull "Fortuna Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Turnbull "Fortuna Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95WS, 90WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Fortuna Vineyard is perfection! This extraordinary wine offers up notes of creme de cassis, graphite, truffles, blueberries and blackberries as well as a colossal mouthfeel with no sense of heaviness, layer upon layer of fruit and glycerin, astonishing purity and a finish that lasts 50 seconds. A magnificent effort that should turn out to be one of the great modern classics of Napa Valley, it should age effortlessly for two to three decades. (RP)" (10/2013)

Vinous, with a patina of nutty maturity offset by a citrus- and honeysuckle-tinged freshness, all embraced by a taut, silky structure. The best is the finish, a kaleidoscope of biscuit, fig and walnut that goes on and on. (BS)" (11/2001)

2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L)
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L) (96RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I am old enough to remember Chuck Wagner and his father, who I first met at Caymus in the late seventies. This is clearly one of Napa Valley’s iconic wineries, as well as one that, amazingly, never went through a bad patch. Obviously, no matter which generation is in the driver’s seat (or should I say tractor’s seat), Caymus Vineyard knows how to deliver flavor and deliciousness. (RP)" (10/2014)

2010 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97RP, 96VN, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Sporting a vibrant ruby, semi-opaque color, the 2010 James Berry Vineyard is the most tight, backward version of this cuvee that I can recall. A blend of 52% Grenache, 26% Mourvedre, and 22% Syrah, it has a decidedly savory bouquet of blackberry liqueur, kirsch, violets, bouquet garni, ground pepper, and graphite. Full-bodied and layered on the palate, with brilliant mid-palate concentration, superb freshness, and masses of tannin, this brilliant Rhone blend from Paso Robles will stand toe-to-toe with the best wines out there, but it is not for those seeking instant gratification and will require 4-5 years of bottle age ... Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Kosta Browne "Gap's Crown Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (94CG, 93VN, 93WS, 92ST). Connoisseurs Guide: " *Two Stars* If tilting a touch more to ripeness than most of its North Coast kin, this bottling does not err to softness, and its big-shouldered style comes with lots of firm muscle. It is a big, well-extracted, very substantial Pinot, to be sure, with abundant flavors of raspberries and sweet cherries, and it carries a strong imprint of rich oak. Its lengthy flavors are underpinned by a firm streak of tannin, and it ends with the kind of finishing grip that predicts a very good future." (10/2013)

Of the 2005 Domaine Morey-Coffinet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Blanchots Dessus",Wine Spectator writes: "Alluring aromas of mineral and smoke introduce this firm, well-toned white. Floral, peach, butterscotch and toast notes follow up as this unfolds across the palate. Has terrific balance and length, with a stony aftertaste. (BS)" (08/2008)

1994 Angélus, St-Emilion (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum lot of 1994 Angélus, St-Emilion (1.5L) (93RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " ... This estate is in many ways symbolic of what heights Bordeaux can achieve when a property is managed by someone as passionate and driven as Hubert de Bouard. As I have been writing for the last decade, these are wines to buy at first release; they can only go up in price given their quality. Another inky, purple/black-colored wine, the 1994 offers up heavenly scents of smoked meats, barbeque spices, hickory wood, and plenty of cassis and kirsch liqueur. The fruit's phenomenal purity and denseness, as well as its overall balance is admirable in view of the massive, muscular personality of this huge, full-bodied wine oozing with extract. It is a tour de force in winemaking. (RP)" (02/1997)

2010 Carlisle Sonoma County Syrah
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Carlisle Sonoma County Syrah (90RP, 89WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Syrah, from two sites in Bennett Valley, is a stunning value in handcrafted, artisan Syrah. Layers of cool, mineral-infused dark fruit caress the palate in this delineated, nuanced wine. Vibrant and intensely perfumed, the 2010 impresses for its overall balance and harmony. This is a relatively forward, juicy style of Syrah, but all the elements are in the right place. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020. (AG)" (04/2013)

Of the 2005 Peter Michael "Belle Côte" Knights Valley Chardonnay,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The Chardonnay Belle Cote is always a more exotic wine. There are 2,200 cases of the 2005 Chardonnay Belle Cote, a wine with undeniable notes of crushed stones, white peach, orange, nectarine, and quince. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Kistler "Vine Hill" Russian River Valley Chardonnay ((94-96RP), 93WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A crisp, elegant yet powerful, mineral-dominated effort, the 2005 Chardonnay Vine Hill Vineyard is reticent at present, exhibiting scents of lemon oil, white currants, peaches, and orange rind. With striking intensity, great elegance, richness, precision, and delineation, this beautiful Chardonnay brought to mind a top-notch French Corton-Charlemagne. (RP)" (12/2006)

2005 Sine Qua Non "Atlantis Fe2O3-1a,b,c" California Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Sine Qua Non "Atlantis Fe2O3-1a,b,c" California Syrah (100RP, (94-95ST), 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The perfect 2005 Syrah Atlantis Fe 203-1a,b,c is a blend of 93% Syrah,5% Grenache, and 2% Viognier, with 25% whole clusters... An extraordinarily flowery nose interwoven with scents of blueberries, blackberries, incense, and graphite soars from the glass. Although not the biggest or most concentrated Syrah Krankl has made, it is one of the most nuanced, elegant, and complex. It remains full-bodied, but builds incrementally on the palate, and comes across as elegant and delicate, especially when compared to many California Syrahs. Nevertheless, the intensity is mind-boggling, and the finish lasts for nearly a minute. (RP)" (06/2008)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Williams Selyem "Westside Road Neighbors" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (93ST, 91W&S). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep ruby. Powerful, seductively perfumed aromas of red and dark berry preserves, Asian spices and potpourri, with cola and vanilla nuances adding complexity. Stains the palate with vibrant black raspberry and cherry-cola flavors and picks up a smoky nuance with air. Shows impressive vivacity on the finish, which features silky tannins and a touch of candied rose. (ST)" (06/2013)

2006 Littorai "Les Larmes" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Littorai "Les Larmes" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. Praise from Prince of Pinot: "Composed of declassified fruit from Cerise and Savoy vineyards... Subdued but very pleasing scents of cherries, hay and white pepper. Admirable richness with bright flavors of cherries and red apples flanked by bright acidity. Smoothly textured and easy to drink. I call the Les Larmes bottlings, which are a blend from the Anderson Valley appellation, 'Baby Littorai' wines, as they are perfectly good daily drinkers that will show well at the table and demand no contemplation." (6/2009) Allen Meadows on the producer: "Founded in 1993 by Heidi and Ted Lemon, they began farming biodynamically in 2001 and recently completed construction of their new winery. Littorai's philosophy of winemaking is clearly inspired by Lemon's many years working for some of the top domaines in France." (10/2009)

2011 Domaine de Montille Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Malconsorts Cuvée Christiane"
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Domaine de Montille Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Malconsorts Cuvée Christiane" (93ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good full medium red. Dark cherry, raspberry, pungent spices, pepper and graphite minerality on the nose. Sappy and saline but less fruity and more introspective today than the "regular" Malconsorts, with nicely integrated flavors of spices, flowers and minerals currently holding the upper hand over the wine's dark fruits. Finishes with superb, slowly mounting length and dusty tannins. This serious, uncompromising, classically dry wine will need to expand in bottle and should ultimately merit a higher score. 93+ points." (03/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Leonetti "Reserve" Walla Walla Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 96WE, 94ST, 93W&S, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The winery flagship is the 2008 Reserve, a blend 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, 11% Merlot, and 9% Cabernet Franc aged in barrel, some of it new, for 23 months. Sandalwood, exotic spices, herbs, violets, and assorted black fruits inform the nose of a layered, succulent, plush, bordering on opulent wine that is beautifully balanced and already complex. It will continue its development for at least another 5-6 years and offer a drinking window extending from 2016 to 2028+. (JM)" (08/2011)

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2012 Haut-Bergey, Pessac-Léognan (90JS, 90RP, 90VN, 90WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Garcin family has done a fabulous job in Bordeaux with their other estates, such as Barde-Haut and Clos L’Eglise in Pomerol, as well as with the nearby luxury wine from Pessac Léognan – Branon. They produce this wine from gravelly and sandy soils, of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. Attractive, soft cassis and tobacco-leaf notes mixed with licorice and spice are present in this dense ruby/plum wine. It is medium-bodied with soft tannin and a relatively smooth, velvety texture, finish and opulence, giving this wine an up-front appeal, although it should age nicely for 12-15 years. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Vaudésirs" (OWC - (92-95BH), (92-94ST), (90-91RP)) in original wood. Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Don't Miss!* There is a background application of wood that frames the notably ripe and borderline exotic yellow orchard fruit nose that is intensely spicy. In the same fashion as the Bougros this is a big and overtly muscular wine though there is a more refined mouth feel to the broad-shouldered flavors that terminate in a lemon and softly mineral finish. This is not overly complex at present but I find that Vaudésir virtually always adds considerable depth with time in bottle." (10/2013)

The palate is very well balanced with the entry with good weight in the mouth. There is a nice malic edge to this Saint Aubin that counterbalances the richness towards the lightly honeyed finish. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Still remarkably youthful looking, and slow to evolve, this is a powerful, concentrated, and rich Sauternes, with decades of life ahead of it. Lemon, tropical fruit, and vanillin oaky aromas titillate the olfactory glands. Tight, yet rich, full-bodied flavors reveal marvelous balance and richness. It is aging at a snail's pace. Anticipated maturity: Now-2025. (RP)" (01/1998)

1989 La Dominique, St-Emilion
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1989 La Dominique, St-Emilion (93RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "It is a toss-up as to whether the 1990 or 1989 is the better vintage for La Dominique. The 1989 might have a bit more structure and definition, but still shares many of the same characteristics that make the 1990 so special. The opaque ruby/purple color is showing a bit of pink at the rim, but the lavishly exotic nose of blackberries, creme de cassis, vanilla, licorice, coffee, and toast soars from the glass. The very viscous, thick, juicy flavors are succulent, full-bodied, and very sweet and expansive. This exuberant yet slightly more structured vintage than the 1990 for La Dominique seems to have only great things ahead of it...(RP)" (11/2002)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Pape Clément, Pessac-Léognan (95RP, 93W&S, 90ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A brilliant dense purple color is accompanied by an extraordinary perfume of camphor, graphite, plums, cassis, and barbecue spices. A prodigious, multilayered, medium-bodied effort with exceptional concentration, a fabulous texture, and a 50-second finish, this brilliant achievement is one of the vintage’s monumental wines. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2020+. P.S. Yields were a mere 28 hectoliters per hectare, which no doubt explains the wine’s stunning concentration." (06/2004)

2011 Varner "Bee Block" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2011 Varner "Bee Block" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay (95RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another compelling effort is the gorgeously fruity 2011 Chardonnay Bee Block (488 cases). It offers lots of honeysuckle, creme brulee, pineapple, mango, peach and wet gravel-like notes, a structured minerality, and sensational, full-bodied richness. It should drink well for 10+ years. These organically, dry-farmed vineyards located ten miles from the Pacific Ocean in the Santa Cruz Mountains are managed by two brothers. I was super-impressed by their attitude as well as their statement that “90% of what we do to contribute to our quality is work in the vineyard.” All of these wines are minimally processed with indigenous yeast fermentations, hand racking, and are produced in relatively small quantities, ranging from 95 cases of the Pinot Noir Three Blocks, to nearly 500 cases of the Chardonnay B Block. I can not recommend these fairly priced reds and whites h

Vinous: "Amazingly, the 2011 Roberta's Reserve may turn out to be better than the 2010. Today it is certainly much more polished, finessed and persistent than the bombastic 2010. Sweet herbs, wild flowers, mint and new leather are all layered together on the finish. The 2011 is all about purity, finesse and balance. What a gorgeous wine this is. The 2011 is 96% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc. " (11/2013)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard has a Mission Haut-Brion-on-steroids character, as it seems to be all gravel pit. Loads of wet pebbles, graphite, blueberry and blackberry fruit, a full-bodied opulence, and just a killer, skyscraper-like mouthfeel and stunning finish make for one of the most provocative and fabulous wines in this portfolio. 2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98WE, 96RP, 95ST, 94WS). Wine Enthusiast: "*** Cellar Selection *** The 2006 flagship Cabernet from Quilceda Creek is a massive wine that has just begun to emerge from its slumber. When first released the wine seemed to have entered a dumb phase, but six months later it responds to decanting and shows its muscle. Fruit flavors of black, brandied cherries, cassis and bourbon-soaked plums are wrapped in generous, layered oak. The wine is dusty, smoky, laced with streaks of licorice and brightened with sharp acids. It continues to expand further in the glass, adding flesh and spice to its frame, with a cedar/cigar box finish. (PG)" (03/2010)

2009 Doisy-Daëne, Sauternes (375ml)
Bid on this 6-half-bottle lot of 2009 Doisy-Daëne, Sauternes (375ml) (94RP, 93WS, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Doisy-Daene was spectacular out of barrel, however it has never quite reached those ethereal heights in bottle. Perhaps this rich, generous vintage did not quite suit the crisp, tense style of Denis Dubourdieu’s Barsac? Compared to others in this blind tasting, it comes across as more muted on the nose with scents of beeswax, marmalade and lanolin, though the Sauvignon Blanc is very expressive. The palate is very well-balanced on the entry with crisp acidity cutting through the viscous texture. The finish is rounded in the mouth, offering attractive notes of lemon sherbet and orange essence. Everything is very "contained" at the moment, although the tension suggests that it should age well. I suspect this will need a decade before it really blossoms. Drink 2020-2040. 94+ (NM)" (02/2013)

2010 Turnbull "Leopoldina" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Turnbull "Leopoldina" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93WS, 92JS, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Leopoldina Vineyard, which comes from the volcanic red soils so prevalent in Oakville, exhibits brilliantly sweet creme de cassis, Christmas fruitcake, spring flower, forest floor, blue, black and red fruits, and subtle background oak characteristics. The finish is, again, 45-50 seconds. This full-bodied, modern day classic is strikingly rich and very young, so give it 5-7 years to achieve fully maturity, and drink it over the following 20-30+ years. (RP)" (10/2013)

2014 Bevan "Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2014 Bevan "Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another look at perfection is the 350-case cuvée of 2014 Sugarloaf Mountain Proprietary Red. This is a Cheval Blanc-like blend of 57% Cabernet Franc and 43% Merlot aged in Gamba and Darnajou barrels. I don’t know anyone making wine from this particular rockpile in the southeastern hillsides of Napa, but Bevan has certainly found an unreal terroir to exploit. Unbelievable aromatics – going the full spectrum of red, blue and black fruits to spring flowers to earthy charcoal embers and incense – are followed by a wine of magnificent intensity, fabulous purity and full-bodied, almost unctuous, texture ... 2011 La Vieille Cure, Fronsac
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 La Vieille Cure, Fronsac (91RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An amazing effort in this vintage, La Vieille Cure has been one of the top 3 or 4 Fronsacs in most recent vintages. The 2011 is fashioned from 75% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. Many consumers will probably drink this wine entirely too young (and I have no problem with that), there is no doubt it has serious aging potential. A true revelation, this sleeper of the vintage is one of the finest wines money can buy. The dense ruby/purple color is followed by a sumptuous palate impression of silky black cherries and blackberries intermixed with wild strawberries. Opulent and rich with the abundant glycerin and lavish concentration concealing moderate tannins, this is a sensational effort in this challenging vintage. With nearly 14% natural alcohol as well as tremendous ripeness, it should drink well for 10+ years. This sleeper of the vintage merits consumer attentio
