Of the 2014 Kosta Browne "Garys' Vineyard" Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "One of the top examples I was able to taste from this terrific vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands, the 2014 Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard is a big, rich, concentrated effort that gives up full-bodied notes of savory herbs, scrub brush, black currants and the classic savory, earthy and mineral characteristics that this site is known for. Fermented with 25% whole clusters, it has lots of texture, lots of tannin, and lots of length. It's a smokin' wine to drink anytime over the coming 10-12 years. (JD)" (09/2016)

Of the 2007 Aubert "Reuling Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The exquisite, dark ruby/purple-tinged 2007 Pinot Noir Reuling Vineyard offers up copious aromas of blue, red, and black fruits in addition to terrific acidity, a broad expansive mouthfeel, and roasted meat, black raspberry, wild strawberry, and foresty flora characteristics. It is a big, concentrated Pinot Noir that makes a mockery of all the over-cropped Pinots that are promoted as "authentic expressions of terroir," when in fact, they are made from over-cropped vineyards and prey on those not familiar with what top-flight Pinot Noirs should taste like. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Carlisle "Montafi Ranch" Russian River Valley Zinfandel (94RP, 93ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Zinfandel Montafi Ranch (88% Zinfandel and 12% mixed blacks from a vineyard planted in 1926) reveals an intoxicating concoction of ground pepper, raspberries, sweet cherries, figs, forest floor, herbs, spice, and blueberries. A really lovely effort and the best vintage for this wine since it was replanted." (07/2007)

2011 Rhys "Horseshoe Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Rhys "Horseshoe Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (94RP, 94ST, 94VN, 93BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the most youthful 2011s in the lineup, the 2011 Pinot Noir Horseshoe Vineyard has serious amount of pepper to go with a darker slant to its fruit; blackberry, ground herbs, charcoal, smoked earth and licorice are just some of the nuances here, and blind, cool-climate Syrah would be the common guess. Nevertheless, it's all Pinot on the palate and has a medium-bodied, supple, seamless and elegant texture that carries plenty of fruit, fine tannin and good acidity that stays integrated and clean through finish. This is a gorgeous 2011 that readers need to seek out. (JD)" (04/2015)

2014 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (1.5L)
Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2014 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (1.5L). A darling of the critics, Sea Smoke remains of the Central Coast's cult Pinot producers. Southing is sourced entirely from the Sea Smoke Estate Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills and saw 16 months in 55% new French oak barrels. Southing consistently earns 90+ point scores from Robert Parker each vintage. Notes from the winery on the 2014 bottling: "Each year, our goal for Southing is to create the ideal marriage of complexity and elegance. The ever-changing nose of the 2014 Southing exhibits Montmorency cherry, baking spice and dried flowers. The fine tannins and minerality are enhanced by our estate vineyard’s characteristic cool-climate acidity."

2003 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 96WE, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The vineyard closest to the great Harlan Estate is Vecina, situated in the western foothills on the Oakville Crossroad overlooking the valley. From this 11-acre site, the 2003 Vecina comes closest in style to Harlan Estate, appearing like a hypothetical blend of a St. Estephe and Pauillac. A formidable wine, it reveals plenty of new saddle leather, creme de cassis, scorched earth and volcanic-like characteristics in addition to notes of blackberries, Chinese black tea and graphite. Powerful, intense and backward, it needs 2-5 years of bottle age and should last for two decades thereafter. It is a tour de force in winemaking! 96+ (RP)" (06/2013)

2004 Turley "Dusi Vineyard" Paso Robles Zinfandel
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Turley "Dusi Vineyard" Paso Robles Zinfandel (91ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good full ruby. Aromas of black raspberry, blackberry, espresso and pepper show an almost liqueur-like ripeness. Fat, velvety and broad, with very ripe flavors of roasted fruits and licorice. A saline character contributes to the wine's impression of thickness. Not hugely fruity, but finishes with sweet tannins and excellent length." (06/2006)

2014 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2014 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend ((95-97RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Paderewski Vineyard comes from a warm site located high up off of Peachy Canyon Road (I wasn't able to get the exact blend but it's normally a mix of Mourvèdre, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Syrah, with a splash of Tempranillo). It offers sexy, full-bodied, broad, rounded and powerful notes of candy corn, black raspberry, chocolate and chalky minerality. The 2014s in general show concentrated, rich profiles as well as broad, supple tannins, and this has both in spades. One of the superstars in California is undoubtedly the humble, soft spoken, yet incredibly talented Justin Smith, who has had the reins at Saxum since 2000. And while a lot of winemakers would have been content to stick with the tried and true at this point, Smith continues to question, experiment and fine tune everything he does. Today, his wines are much more finesse oriented, pure and grace

2012 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum lot of 2012 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (96RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection has a dense blackish/purple color and creamy, sweet crème de cassis fruit, blackberries, a touch of graphite and vanilla, This exuberant, boisterous, in-your-face style of Cabernet Sauvignon is clearly a fruit bomb, so be warned. Full-bodied and opulent with stunning concentration and richness, the wine has no hard edges and is much in the Caymus style of terrific fruit intensity (most of it black and blue), voluptuous texture, and a stunning finish with plenty of glycerin, wood and spice. The alcohol on the label is listed at 14.8%, which seems about accurate. I have Caymus Special Selection in my cellar back to some of the historic wines made by Chuck Wagner’s father in the early 1970s, and while the style’s gotten more precocious and consumer-friendly, these wines, even the more latter-day styles,

2001 M. Chapoutier "Le Pavillon" Ermitage Rouge
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 M. Chapoutier "Le Pavillon" Ermitage Rouge ((93-95RP), 95ST, 94WS, 93W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Year in and year out, one of the three greatest Hermitages made is Chapoutier’s Le Pavillon. The 2001 Ermitage Le Pavillon exhibits a saturated ruby/purple color as well as a big, sweet nose of camphor, ink, creme de cassis, and hints of licorice as well as smoke. Although dense, rich, and full-bodied, the 2001 reveals more acidity in its delineated, nervous personality. Unquestionably great and intense, it will be less charming and precocious than its 2000 sibling. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2030. These uncompromising offerings from a young genius are not meant for consumers who want something to drink immediately. They are the essence of bio-dynamically farmed vineyard sites cropped incredibly low, given extended fermentations with indigenous yeasts, and rarely touched until they go into the bottle unfined and unfiltered. 2014 Maybach Family "Amoenus" Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Maybach Family "Amoenus" Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Amoenus comes from a western hillside vineyard near Calistoga that is actually cooler than the general area. This wine always exhibits plenty of crushed rock, wet gravel minerality, notes of forest floor, spring flowers and copious quantities of blackberry and crème de cassis with a hint of lead pencil shavings and pen ink. The 2014 is dense and full-bodied, but with low acidity and ripe well-integrated tannin. It is strutting its stuff, however it should be even better with 5-7 years of bottle age and last 25-30 years. They produce 330 cases of this glorious wine that tips the scales at 14.7% natural alcohol. (RP)" (10/2016)

Allen Meadows - Burghound: "*Outstanding* This too is relatively toasty and very ripe, indeed to the point of where there are notes of deep plum, mocha, black berry and subtle spice hints that lead to intensely mineral and highly complex and nuanced flavors that benefit from a distinct sense of lift and detail because of the almost pungent minerality of the firmly structured and hugely long finish. Wonderfully silky and fine-grained, showing lovely class and lift to its red fruit and spice flavors. Not a powerhouse but remarkably suave and smooth for Pommard. 2012 Rudius "Knockmore" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Rudius "Knockmore" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill - Knockmore comes from a small parcel on Pritchard Hill directly across the street from Ovid and backed up to the well-known Colgin IX Estate Vineyard. As Jeff Ames says, this is 'a fantastic neighborhood.' The wine, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, was also bottled unfined and unfiltered after 18 months in about 70% new French oak. This is another small cuvée of only about 100 cases. Fabulous flavors of black raspberries, blackcurrants and spring flowers jump from the glass of this wine, which seems to be a characteristic of many of the same wines in the neighborhood. Deep ruby/purple in color, it's sexy, opulent, lush and much in keeping with the 2012 style. This multi-dimensional, layered, velvety textured wine is loaded. There's not a hard edge to it, and the impression is one of extravagance and lavish, rich fruit. It's

The nose began tight and oaky but opened with air to show enticing scents of dark raspberry, cherry liqueur, violet and licorice. The richest and sweetest of this set of 2012s, showing noteworthy concentration and breadth to the captivating flavors of berries, flowers and stony minerality. Wonderfully stuffed for an Esmonin wine but with no excess weight--and not a hint of rusticity. Finishes very long and perfumed, with utterly fine-grained tannins. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 La Pousse d'Or Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des 60 Ouvrées" ((92-94BH), 94RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Volnay Caillerets Clos des 60 Ouvrees (like the Clos d’Audinac and Clos de la Bousse d’Or, a monopole) features the oldest vines in the estate’s Volnay holdings, more than half of them planted in the mid fifties. Black cherry, purple plum, pistachio, ginger, and cumin inform the nose. On the palate this offers old vines creaminess, flattering glycerin, and yet also a persistently bright freshness of black fruits. A deep, lingering, faintly caramel-inflected bitter-sweetness, spice, and chalk further testifies to the concentration in this wine, which surpasses the Bousse d’Or in structure and gives it a hard run for its money in the charm department. Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2007 Hanzell "Ambassador's 1953 Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Pinot Noir (1.5L) (93WE, 91BH, 90WS). Wine Enthusiast: " *Cellar Selection* Hews to the Hanzell style, which is almost old-fashioned in this age of ripely opulent Pinot Noirs. This one's tight as a drum in tannins and acids, a quivery, nervously wound wine. Yet it's quite rich and complex, with a tapestry of cherry, red licorice, tobacco, Canadian bacon, dusty Indian spice and buttered toast flavors. " (05/2011)

2013 Alpha Omega "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Alpha Omega "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94VN, 93JS, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Always coming across like a Napa version of a Pessac-Léognan because of the wet pebbles, smoky barbecue and stony notes, which give it a striking minerality, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard exhibits more blueberry, black raspberry and licorice. It again offers full-bodied, super-concentrated flavors that are pure, stunningly intense, and a total hedonistic and intellectual turn-on. This wine also needs 3-4 years of cellaring and should keep for up to three decades. 96+ (RP)" (10/2015)

1975 Lafite Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1975 Lafite Rothschild, Pauillac (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1975 is a powerful Lafite, and troublesome bottles tend to reveal more tannin and funkiness than others, which have a roasted character, combined with a gravelly, mineral underpinning. As this wine has aged, it appears to be less of a sure bet. In most cases, it has been an outstanding wine, as the bottle tasted in December suggested. The aromatics indicate the wine is fully mature, but the tough tannin level clearly underscores the dark side of the 1975 vintage. This wine will undoubtedly last for another 30+ years, but I am not sure the fruit will hold. It is a perplexing wine that may still turn out to be an exceptional Lafite. (RP)" (02/1996)

Textural beauty is front and center, but it will be at least another few years before the aromas and flavors start to show the full breadth of complexity and nuance that has always been present in barrel. The deep, intense finish is simply dazzling in a magnificent Maya that should drink well for many, many years. (AG)" (06/2014)

Bid on this magnum lot of 2004 Peter Michael "Belle Côte" Knights Valley Chardonnay (1.5L) (95RP, 93ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The light straw/green-colored 2004 Chardonnay Belle Cote offers an exotic nose of tropical fruits, litchi nuts, tangerines, and brioche. Gorgeous acidity buttresses the wine’s full-bodied, concentrated mouthfeel and freshness. It could easily pass for a grand cru from Chassagne-Montrachet. (RP)" (12/2006)

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97JS, 94WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard has a Mission Haut-Brion-on-steroids character, as it seems to be all gravel pit. Loads of wet pebbles, graphite, blueberry and blackberry fruit, a full-bodied opulence, and just a killer, skyscraper-like mouthfeel and stunning finish make for one of the most provocative and fabulous wines in this portfolio. Bid on this bottle of 2012 Kistler "Cuvée Natalie - Silver Belt" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (96VN, 90RP, 90WS). Vinous: "A wine of real intrigue and finesse, the 2012 Pinot Noir Silver Belt Cuvée Natalie boasts marvelous detail and nuance. Sweet red cherry, plum and spice open up gradually, but the 2012 is not showing a lot of near-term accessibility at this stage. Instead, it is the wine's energy and tension that are front and center. A brilliant, crystalline finish rounds things out very nicely. Readers should give the 2012 at least a few years in bottle to fully come together. (AG)" (01/2015)

2008 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 95ST, 95W&S, 94JS, 92WS, 90WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Monte Bello is striking. It is a decidedly muscular Monte Bello endowed with layers of dark fruit. Tobacco, mint, asphalt and crushed rocks develop in the glass, adding tons of complexity and finesse. A long, saline finish rounds things out beautifully. In 2008 the cold growing season stretched into October and the wine definitely has the feel of a cool vintage. The spring frost and the second year of drought conditions lowered yields significantly. Yields were just 1.25 tons per acre on average, but some of the older vineyards came in at less than 1 ton per acre. The balance of fruit, tannin and structure is simply extraordinary, but the wine needs time, most likely lots of it. In 2008 the blend is 72% Cabernet Sauvignon and 28% Merlot. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2038. 97+ (AG)" (08/2011)

2013 Del Dotto "Family Reserve - St. Helena Mountain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Del Dotto "Family Reserve - St. Helena Mountain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon St. Helena Mountain is the most powerful wine in the entire Del Dotto lineup, coming in at 15.9% natural alcohol. Picked super-ripe, but not the least bit overrripe, or jammy, instead showing clean blueberry and blackberry liqueur, stunning richness, wonderful freshness and vibrancy, making a mockery of the high-alcohol phobes, this beauty will probably be a 50-year wine when it’s all said and done. One of the bright, shining stars of Napa is David Del Dotto’s winery. His faux-Italian villa gets mixed reactions from the locals, but there’s no question that the wines are of impeccably high quality, and certainly world-class in every sense. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 99JS, 96VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is another perfect wine. A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot (400 cases produced) aged in 100% new French oak, this gravelly site produced a wine with notes of wet pebbles, Haut Brion-like scorched earth and volcanic notes, some smoke, dark chocolate, forest floor, and massive amounts of blueberry and blackberry fruit. A wine of great intensity, depth and richness, if somehow Bordeaux's Haut Brion were injected with steroids, it might taste like this monumental effort from Napa. This is pure perfection and should drink well young as well as 30 years from now. Bravo! (RP)" (12/2015)

This extraordinary wine offers up notes of creme de cassis, graphite, truffles, blueberries and blackberries as well as a colossal mouthfeel with no sense of heaviness, layer upon layer of fruit and glycerin, astonishing purity and a finish that lasts 50 seconds. The 2012 Syrah Relentless, which has not yet been bottled, is a blend of 89% Syrah and 11% Petite Sirah. In keeping with this amazing year, it’s full-bodied, juicy, succulent, flamboyant, with blueberry and blackberry fruit galore, lots of glycerin and a massive mouthfeel, but no heaviness or astringency characterize this stunning wine. This should turn out to be a great, great Rhône Ranger when released in a year or so. (RP)" (10/2014)

2006 Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche Grand Cru (95RP, 93BH, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Dujac 2006 Clos de la Roche is a dark, brooding Pinot no less complex or long than its Clos St.-Denis sibling. Here, the animal side is a gamey, faintly sweaty beast; the fruits dark and as bitter as they are sweet; and the sense of chocolate-like richness remarkable in the context of the vintage. And rather than an energetic sense of interplay, this conveys a layering of fruit, meat, and stony, saline mineral elements, supported by tactile viscosity and a sappy sense of almost indelible cling. Lucky are those who can follow and compare both of these wines over the next dozen years. (DS)" (12/2009)

Full-bodied, backward and atypically tannic and structured for a 2012, this “locked and loaded,” big, massive Cabernet Sauvignon is built for 20-25 years of longevity. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Pierra comes from the winery’s steepest slopes on its highest eastern valley elevation. Some minerality can be found, but the wine is currently dominated by its gorgeous dark black cherry component. This meaty, full-bodied, opulent 2012 possesses good acidity, excellent tannin, real sucrosity and generosity, and a full-bodied, long finish. It should turn out to be something special. There is something almost Rhône-like in this beauty. Drink it over the next 10-15 years. 94+ Points (RP)" (10/2014)

Of the 2012 Hall "Kathryn Hall" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Kathryn Hall is largely sourced from their Sacrashe Vineyard. The color is dense ruby/purple. The wine is very young, and less evolved than many of its peers, but bursting with potential. Lots of blueberry and black raspberry fruit with a hint of mocha and background oak are all present in this full-bodied, opulent, absolutely spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a long-distance runner, although not so much because of the tannic structure, because the fruit seems younger and more primary than some of its siblings. This is a fabulous property on the lower hillsides of the Mayacamas Mountains. A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot aged in 100% new French oak, the 2012 is inky purple, with a gorgeous nose of lead pencil shavings, spring flowers, blackberry and blueberry fruit, cedar wood and baking spices.
