2011 Arnoux (Lachaux) Vosne Romanee "Les Suchots" 1er Cru
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Arnoux (Lachaux) Vosne Romanee "Les Suchots" 1er Cru (93BH, 93ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright, dark red. Wild aromas of black fruits, licorice, violet, bitter chocolate and Oriental spices, plus a whiff of leather. Dense, suave and firmly built, showing a distinctly sappy quality to the complex flavors of black fruits, spices and minerals. The energetic, very long finish features suave, firm tannins and bright lingering notes of spices and violet. Showing the serious side of 2011, but Pascal Lachaux destemmed everything in this vintage. (ST)" (03/2014)

James Suckling: "This is a forgotten vintage of Sassicaia from the 1980s with all the hype about the legendary 1985 - a perfect wine. It shows incredible depth of fruit and mineral character. It's full body and round textures with soft tannins. " (12/2013)

2004 Sine Qua Non "Mr. K Straw Man" Semillon Vin de Pays (375ml)
Bid on this 375 ml 3-bottle lot of 2004 Sine Qua Non "Mr. K Straw Man" Semillon Vin de Pays (375ml) (100RP, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The monumental 2004 Mr. K. The Straw Man, a Semillon Vin de Pays, possesses 9.9% alcohol and 310 grams per liter of residual sugar yet an amazing 7.6 grams per liter of acidity. An elixir of amazing proportions, there are 2,500 half bottles, which will be released in early 2008. Astounding notes of marmalade, creme brulee, and a liqueur of roasted nuts are accompanied by fabulous acidity, which provides uplift and vibrancy in spite of its enormous richness and unctuosity. The only thing I can say is you must taste it to believe it! I have no idea how long these sweeties will keep, but they should easily last for two decades or more. (RP)" (08/2007)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Armand Rousseau Clos de la Roche Grand Cru ((91-94BH), 92ST, 90RP). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An overtly spicy and very earth nose of red currant, plum and wet stone scents. There is lovely richness to the round, full-bodied and highly energetic medium-bodied flavors that exhibit firm tannins on the saline-infused finish. This is excellent and should reward mid to longer-term cellaring. (AM)" (01/2013)

2008 A.F. Gros Richebourg Grand Cru
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 A.F. Gros Richebourg Grand Cru ((91-94BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Don't Miss!* Very generous wood fights somewhat at present with the cool, spicy and highly complex nose of red currant, plum and violet aromas that is very much in keeping with the equally spicy rich, full-bodied and tautly muscled flavors that display ample minerality on the balanced, long and linear finish. This is a very serious effort with fine but dense tannins that will require 15 to 20 years for them to fully resolve so this isn't a precocious Riche." (04/2010)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Richebourg flows with terrific intensity and juiciness in a style that remains on the delicate, floral side for this vineyard. The fruit wraps around the palate with notable persistence and grip all the way through to the finish. This is another classy effort from Bernard Gros. (AG)" (05/2011)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche Grand Cru (95RP, 94ST, 93BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Clos de la Roche is particularly refined in this vintage. The wine literally floats on the palate with weightless elegance in its intensely perfumed fruit. Crushed flowers and red berries linger on the silky, impossibly fine finish. This is a fabulous effort from Dujac. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2033. (AG)" (05/2011)

Bid on this 3-magnum lot of 2011 Domaine des Chezeaux (Ponsot) Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru (1.5L) (92BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Initially this is reticent to the point of brooding but aggressive swirling liberates a very pretty, even perfumed nose of spicy red cherry, raspberry, earth and floral nuances. The palate impression is presently equally restrained with focused and well-detailed medium-bodied flavors that possess superb richness yet no lack of energy. There is first-rate purity and transparency to the highly complex, balanced and seriously long mineral-driven finish that displays just a touch of youthful asperity. This is terrific and should be excellent in time though note that moderate patience will be required as this is still markedly tight though not particularly austere." (04/2014)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru (94BH, 94JS, 94RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Mint, concentrated red and black fruits, smoked meat, and black pepper pungently scent the De Vogue 2006 Bonnes Mares. These migrate with almost implosive intensity to a palate lushly textured though finely tannic and almost implacably dense yet shot through with electric energy. Here are both the caressing and invigorating aspects at once present in so many of the best 2006s, each accentuated. Like so many young wines of its appellation, this is relatively backward and slightly unruly, but the longer the wine takes on air the more both its senses of richness and energy are enhanced. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Domaine des Chezeaux Griottes-Chambertin Grand Cru. Domaine des Chezeaux is made at Domaine Ponsot with Ponsot's estate vineyard holdings. From the winery: "Less vigourous than Chambertin, Griotte-Chambertin is a rare wine, with a ruby hue, sensuality, breeding and elegance; a confiture of cherry flavours, red fruits, licorice and spices - a mineral note too. It is a wine with round tannins that suit perfectly the natural low acidity of the climat. Soft in the mouth, it is opulent and glossy - a wine of silk and lace."

2012 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan Vineyard, which Woodbridge thinks may be the greatest he has made to date, is locked and loaded, with silky tannins and an inky blue/purple color, a gorgeous nose of spring flowers intermingled with crème de cassis, blackberry, lead pencil shavings and spice box, This is a full-throttle, concentrated, stunningly well-balanced wine, with terrific fruit intensity and palate presence. It is fat, it is opulent, it is delicious, but it pulls back from going over the edge, as all great wines tend to do. Drink it over the next 20-25 years. The genius of Jayson Woodbridge is not in dispute. A bigger than life character, he has a certain personal flamboyance and no-prisoners-taken persona, but what he and his team do in the vineyards and winery speaks for itself. Of the 2013 Kosta Browne "Gap's Crown Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "From a large vineyard (Gap's Crown is roughly 130 acres), the 2013 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard comes from a smaller 37-acre parcel owned by Kosta Browne, which lies at an elevation of 1,000 feet above sea level. Harvest all towards the end of September and aged 16 months in 51% new French oak, it has a slightly darker slant in its wild strawberry, black raspberry, spice and sappy flower stem-like aromas and flavors. Dark black cherries, plums, exotic spices and orange peel are some of the many notes that take shape in this deeply expressive, layered Pinot. Of the 2002 Quilceda Creek Washington Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Almost as good as the 2003, the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc that spent 22 months in 100% new French oak. Its youthful purple/ruby color is followed by gorgeously complex and intense aromas of wild herbs, exotic spices, caramelized beef, licorice and layers of sweet black fruits and creamy black cherry-like nuances. Full-bodied, rich and incredibly youthful, it opens up beautifully in the glass and is a total thrill ride of a Washington State Cabernet. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 94ST, 93AG, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Even more perfumed and up-front aromatically, the 2010 Broken Stones is a brilliant effort. A multi-vineyard blend of 63% Syrah, 19% Mourvedre, 15% Grenache, and 3% Petite Sirah that was aged mostly in new French oak, it offers up a gorgeously pure array of black raspberry, charcoal, licorice, lavender, and assorted floral qualities on the nose. This flows to a full-bodied, deft, and elegant palate that has no hard edges, a weightless feel, and masses of fine, yet firm tannin on the finish. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (97AG, 96ST, 96W&S, 91RP). Antonio Galloni: "The 2010 Monte Bello is just as stunning as it has always been. Today, the 2010 appears to be entering a closed phase, so it is best left alone for at least another 5-10 years, perhaps longer. The signatures are super-ripe, exotic fruit, sweet aromatics and firm tannins, all of which ensure the 2010 will be utterly magnificent in a few decades. The growing season was characterized by mostly cold weather, with an unexpectedly intense heat spike in mid-October that gave the fruit a final push. One of the things that makes this vintage so compelling is the interplay of firm structural elements from the cold year and a high level of ripeness that was achieved late. In my view, the 2010 is one of the most thrilling recent Monte Bellos, however it won't be ready to drink for a number of years and it won't peak for quite some time beyond that. (AG

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 96CG, 96WS, 95JS, 94ST, 94WE, 91W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aged 24 months in new French oak, this infant 2007 exhibits an inky/purple color along with notes of graphite, spring flowers and smoky oak. This full-bodied, classic Insignia reveals fabulous depth, ripeness, texture, viscosity and richness. Still young and unformed, it should evolve for 25 or more years. Perhaps I should just go ahead and give this 2007 a three-digit score as it is a profoundly great Cabernet Sauvignon-based effort. The production was 13,500 cases of this 100% estate fruit blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot. The alcohol came in at 14.5%. The growing season was nearly ideal, with early bud break, generous flowering, a bountiful crop size, and summer weather that was warm and dry with no significant heat spikes. 2007 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (99RP, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A staggering Chardonnay that’s still an infant, the light yellow/green/gold 2007 offers up notes of unbuttered popcorn, orange liqueur, lemon butter, quince and crushed rocks. It possesses terrific underlying acidity, a full-bodied mouthfeel and a youthfulness and freshness that suggest this wine has two decades of life ahead of it. This majestic Chardonnay seems more French than Californian, but again, this reflects the significance of the labor of these two overachieving, push-the-envelope visionaries. What California viticulture and high-class, minimalist winemaking can achieve is exhibited in bold fashion by this 2007. It will hit its prime in 5-7 years, and appears to be a replay of the 2002 stylistically as well as for its overall potential. 99+ points. (RP)" (06/2012)

Pliant, rich and deep, with terrific verve and incipient complexity to the intense flavors of black cherry, salty minerality, game and white pepper. 2012 Sine Qua Non "In the Abstract" Proprietary White Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Sine Qua Non "In the Abstract" Proprietary White Blend (97RP, 95JS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In the same league, the 2012 In The Abstract is a classic Sine Qua Non white blend of 37% Chardonnay, 31% Roussanne, 16% Petite Manseng and 16% Viognier. Coming from roughly equal parts Bien Nacido, Cumulus and Eleven Confessions vineyard, it spent just under 19 months in 48% used barrels (1-4 years old), 27% new French oak and the balance in concrete eggs. It sports a slightly darker color than the Chardonnay and offers up incredible notes of caramelized peaches, poached apples, white flowers and crushed rock that flow seamlessly to a full-bodied, decadent, yet classy and graceful feel on the palate. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Alphonse Mellot "Satellite" Sancerre (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from five different lieux-dits of the coteaux de Chavignol, with vines rooted in clay limestone soils for approximately 50 years, the 2012 Sancerre Satellite of Alphonse Mellot is a lovely fruity, fresh and appetizing mineral Chavignol of great precision, elegance and balance. Dressed in pale straw yellow, the wine is like an Armani perfume quoting citric and herbal aromas of limestoned yellow citrus, grapefruits, clementines, thyme and white nectarines. This is an outstanding Chavignol of great purity and length with vibrant energy and tension and a persistent salty finish. This is an impressively enjoyable, elegant and complex Sancerre indeed. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Mollydooker "Two Left Feet" Shiraz-Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot South Australia (94RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Two Left Feet is a 65% Shiraz, 19% Merlot, and 16% Cabernet Sauvignon blend assembled by Sarah Marquis. The fruit is sourced from McLaren Vale, Padthaway, and Langhorne Creek, and the wine is aged for 9-12 months in a combination of American and French oak (about 50% new and 50% one-year old). It boasts an inky/purple color, superb intensity, a big, sweet, full-bodied nose of creme de cassis, graphite, white chocolate, black olives, blackberry liqueur, and spice, and a spectacular, voluptuous, even unctuous texture. This is a big, powerful, classic southern Australian red made with no compromises. The good news is that there are 6,500 cases of this superb value. (RP)" (06/2006)

2011 Brittan "Gestalt Block" Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Brittan "Gestalt Block" Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "While the elderberry, blackberry and cassis evinced by Brittan’s 2011 Pinot Noir Gestalt Block preserve a vintage-typical tart edge, they’re possessed of a succulent sweetness and embedded in a more polished, downright satin-textured palate performance than was the case with the corresponding Basalt Block. Smaller clusters and berries here make for incredible density and phenolic concentration and I can feel and taste that on multiple levels, even though those facts seem to utterly belie this wine’s refined and alluring texture. (As intimated in my introduction, root penetration and soil structure -- not just vine genetics or exposure -- almost certainly, somehow, play a role in determining these characteristics.) As this opened to the air, a sense of high-toned distilled fruit essences became penetratingly and invigoratingly evident. The salt and stone borne al

A sensational perfume of melted licorice, black currants, smoked meats, underbrush, and toasty oak are followed by blackberry liqueur-like flavors. Despite the large production, lower than that of many first growth Bordeaux, the wine, which has tiny amounts of Cab Franc and Petit Verdot, shows classic Oakville elegance and precision. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Henri Germain et Fils Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Morgeot" ((90-92BH), 90ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "**Sweet Spot, Outstanding** An unusually elegant and restrained nose that is both airy and orchard fruit-based leads to rich, full, naturally sweet and attractively fleshy flavors that possess fine mid-palate concentration and better detail than one typically finds in Morgeot, all wrapped in a dry, citrusy and palate staining finish. Sweet, lush and serious, with a layered texture to the redcurrant and leather flavors. Can't match the 2008 version for lift or acidity but this has the density and structure to require at least a couple years of cellaring. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Horsepower "The Tribe Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (OWC - 96RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More straight and focused than the Sur Echalas Vineyard, the 2013 Syrah The Tribe Vineyard is slightly darker in color, with lots of gunpowder, blackberry, blueberry, smoked game and beef blood aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, yet elegant and silky, with a great finish, it's a gorgeously complex, balanced and complete Syrah that has lots of Rocks character, as well as 15 years of more of longevity. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Cliff Lede Vineyards "Imagine Rhapsody" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Cliff Lede ratchets up the quality level with the 2007 Imagine Rhapsody, a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec, and nearly equal portions of Merlot and Cabernet Franc with a dollop of Petit Verdot included. This opaque purple-colored 2007 is the most backward of this group. Deep, rich notes of charcoal, lead pencil shavings, black currants, licorice, smoke, and wet rock-like characteristics are all present in this well-proportioned, full-bodied, deep, strikingly backward and tannic wine. 2007 Bodegas Alto Moncayo "Alto Moncayo" Campo de Borja
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Bodegas Alto Moncayo "Alto Moncayo" Campo de Borja (100RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I tend to drink Alto Moncayo during its first 5-6 years of life. Although I was sure they had aging potential, I did not realize just how much longevity these wines possess. They are generally full-bodied, powerful (with at least 15.5% natural alcohol), concentrated, rich wines made from very old vines and tiny yields. If you are not into flavor concentration or care about artisanal wines from great terroirs that have been ignored for centuries, this may not be the wine for you. Not one of these ten vintages was close to full maturity. I gave perfect scores to the prodigious 2007 and 2009, two of the greatest expressions of old vine Grenache from the province of Aragon that anyone could have desire. The both possess plenty of black raspberry, blackberry, kirsch and licorice characteristics as well as an undeniable minerality and precision that are remarkable give

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1982 is still 5-8 years away from full maturity, but it exhibits a dense ruby/plum/garnet color to the rim as well as a sweet perfume of forest floor, spice box, cedar, and copious quantities of black fruits. Medium to full-bodied and beautifully pure with sweet tannins, this wine has aged more slowly than I initially expected.
