2006 Quilceda Creek "Palengat Vineyard" Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Quilceda Creek "Palengat Vineyard" Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is the first vintage of the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Palengat Vineyard, located in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA. The wine also contains 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Purple-colored, it offers up a splendid perfume of wood smoke, spice box, pencil lead, espresso, violets, black currant, and blackberry. Full-bodied, plush, and concentrated, it is already revealing considerable complexity despite the youth of the vines. In spite of its size, the wine manages to retain a sense of elegance, a trademark of all of Quilceda Creek’s wines. Give it 5-7 years of additional bottle age and drink it from 2015 to 2026. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Cayuse "Camaspelo" Walla Walla Valley Bordeaux Blend (OCB - 94RP, 93VN, 93WS) in original cardboard. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Leading off the 2013s, the 332-case 2013 Camaspelo is made from 81% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Merlot that was aged all in puncheons. Notes of iron, red and black currants, licorice and lead pencil characteristics emerge from this medium to full-bodied, elegant, complex Bordeaux blend that would pass undetected in a lineup of Pauillacs. Give it 3-4 years of cellaring and drink through 2033. (JD)" (06/2016)

Vinous: "Colgin's 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill is ripe, exotic and flashy, yet also remarkably fresh. A wine of intensity and pure Napa Valley voluptuousness, the 2005 hits all the right notes. Mocha, chocolate, dark cherry fruit and licorice are pushed forward in this sexy, racy, Tychson Hill. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Jean Marie Fourrier Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Chaumes" Vielle Vigne. Allen Meadows writes: "Jean-Marie Fourrier has slowly started branching out with his eponymous négociant operation that be began in 2011 with three wines. In 2013 he has expanded the range of offerings considerably though with several key principles in mind. He explained to me that 'first, I only buy fruit and make the wines from appellations that I don't have under the domaine's umbrella. Second, I only buy fruit from domaines who make their own wines from those same grapes as I don't want somebody else's cast off production. Third I don't want the total volume from the négociant side to ever total more than 20% of what I make on the domaine side so that my clients understand where my primary focus is. Lastly, the range of wines will only be between Gevrey and Vosne, which again allows me to monitor the quality of the fruit in the vineyards I'm buying from regularly.'"

1998 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 91ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard was bottled earlier than usual as this vintage is not as massive or concentrated as its predecessors. To my palate, the 1998 is good, although I am not convinced it will be long lived. There are 2,300 cases of this 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit-Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc blend. It is supple and elegant, with a complex, evolved bouquet of smoke, black currants, spice box, and cedar. In the mouth, the wine is forward with sweet tannin, gorgeously rich, concentrated fruit, and impressively integrated acidity and tannin. Drink this alluring charmer now and over the next 12-15 years. (RP)" (12/2000)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (97RP, 96VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chardonnay Cix Estate, also from a Montrachet clone planted on Goldridge soils, displays plenty of peach, apricot, caramelized apples, citrus blossom and wet stones in a full-bodied, powerful, rich and pure, precise style. This is another beauty from 2013 that should easily age for 10+ years. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 5-half-bottle lot of 2000 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml) (93WE, 91WS). Wine Enthusiast: " *Cellar Selection* Terrific stuff, a blend of fruit from Fay and SLV that’s creamy and supple—just what you expect texturally from Stag’s Leap District Cabernet. Knockout aromas are slightly floral and cedary, artfully blending tobacco and black currants, while the flavors are pure plum, vanilla and spice. Chewy and rich on the finish, suggesting that although delicious now, it should hold up in the cellar just fine. " (02/2004)

2015 Bedrock Wine Company "Monte Rosso" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Bedrock Wine Company "Monte Rosso" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel (95RP, 95VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the great, iconic vineyards of Northern California is the Monte Rosso site owned by the Gallos. The 2015 Zinfandel Monte Rosso Vineyard is amazing. Peterson was saying that it comes from a steep westward-facing vineyard planted mostly with Zinfandel, but also includes tiny quantities of Alicante Bouschet and Grand Noir. Dark, complex, powerful and muscular with briary blackberry and black raspberry fruit, savory roasted herbs, steak tartare, pepper and forest floor, this is a wine of great intensity, richness and length. 1992 Spottswoode Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum lot of 1992 Spottswoode Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (99RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The year 1992 was the second most abundant year for Spottswoode, producing 5,713 cases, with the final blend 6% Cabernet Franc and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon. This was a classic Napa vintage with abundant fruit and high yields. Spottswoode made a magnificent example. With a dark ruby/purple/garnet-colored wine to the rim, this wine is stunningly rich, with floral-infused blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, a hint of chocolate and toast. Terrific aromatics are followed by an equally impressive full-bodied wine, with stunningly sweet, velvety tannins, enormous fruit and stature, and a long, long finish. This is brilliant and still somewhat of a late adolescent with at least 20 years of further drinking ahead of it." (08/2016)

2011 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L)
Bid on this mangum lot of 2011 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (96W&S, (93-95RP), 94VN). Wine & Spirits: "The cool 2011 season turned out a pristine vintage of Monte Bello, made from Cabernet (88 percent) grown on a limestone-inflected ridge high above Silicon Valley, blended with some Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The team at Ridge let the fruit recover for two weeks following an early October storm before picking, and were more aggressive in their extraction than normal, drawing as much color and structure as possible from the delicate fruit. The aromas revolve around oak at first—anise, wood smoke, cedar bark and cinnamon—but the wood’s contribution is fine and integrated, shading gradually toward bright fruit as the finish lengthens with floral aromas and the tang of tiny, concentrated black currants. It’s even better with a day of air, as the tannins turn to velvet, allowing red-fruited acidity to take the lead and brighten the wine’s savo

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1992 Dominus Estate Napa Valley Proprietary Red (95RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1992 Dominus is similar in style to the 1990. It exhibits an open knit, opulent, rich, easy-going character with gorgeous levels of earthy, cassis fruit intertwined with scents of herbs, coffee, and chocolate/mocha ice cream. Rich and full-bodied, with thick, viscous flavors and low acidity, this is a forward, exceptionally concentrated, easy to understand Dominus that should drink well for 20 years. (RP)" (12/1995)

A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot and 10% Cabernet Franc, it comes from four of Russell Bevan’s favorite vineyard sources – Tench, Tin Box, Two Dogs and Sugarloaf Mountain. A big fruit bomb, it boasts a dense purple color as well as loads of crème de cassis, tobacco leaf, underbrush, graphite, lavender, roasted meats and blackberries. 2011 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Gold Capsule Auslese Mosel
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Gold Capsule Auslese Mosel (95RP, 94WS, 92ST, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A delightful hint of salted caramel creeps into the nose and onto the palate of Prum’s 2011 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese gold capsule, which when combined with apple jelly, honey and nougat not to mention a creamy and almost taffy-like texture, makes for a decidedly confectionary aura. Sweet liquid essences of lily, musky peony and gardenia as well as a faint oiliness and high glycerol enhance the luxuriantly seductive effect of this long-lingering performance, yet there remains a critical modicum of fresh apple and melon juiciness (if less efficacious than that of the corresponding Bernkasteler) to complement the sense of levity in this elixir’s finish and to render the next sip virtually irresistible. 1983 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 1983 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN, 91WS). Vinous: "The 1983 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is one of the softest, most inviting wines in this tasting. Here it is the wine's pure texture and layers of fruit that stand out most. Leather, menthol and smoke all add nuance on the close as the wine continues to come together with time in the glass. Among Dunn's early wines, the 1983 is one of the vintages that is closest to maturity, although it will drink well for at least another handful of years. Today, the 1983 is a wine to enjoy for its soft contours and supple, inviting personality. (AG)" (02/2014)

Superconcentrated, round, sweet and creamy, with highly complex flavors of plum, dark chocolate, minerals and leather. This offers breadth and palate coverage rare for Merlot that's not grown on the Pomerol plateau. The rising finish boasts superb breadth and length. A great California Merlot." (06/2005)

1971 d'Yquem, Sauternes (375mL)
Bid on this half-bottle lot of 1971 d'Yquem, Sauternes (375mL) (97RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Served from an ex-chateau bottle. I have always stood by the 1971 Chateau d’Yquem as being one of the most seriously underrated vintages of that decade. I feel completely vindicated in this view as I batted away the 1967 Yquem when tasted at the chateau and entranced its audience. This great Yquem was born during 10 days from October 6, when warm and humid conditions caused an outbreak of botrytis. It was a small crop of just 228 barrels. Slightly deeper in color than the 1982 Yquem tasted alongside, it is blessed with a truly spellbinding nose that has such energy and frisson that you don’t know where to look. You can detect Mirabelle, ripe Satsumas, citrus peel and beeswax. The palate is vibrant, animated and simply electrifies the mouth upon entry. The 1971 has immense concentration, while the almost Tokaji Aszu-like finish is beautifully poised. This is simply an outstanding

2007 Clos Rougeard "Les Poyeux" Saumur Champigny
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Clos Rougeard "Les Poyeux" Saumur Champigny. The Foucault brothers Nady and Charlie are the owners of Clos Rougeard, and in France, at least, their wines have certainly achieved cult-like status with every three-star restaurant in Paris hustling to get a small allocation. But few people in America have even heard of Clos Rougeard, and we're here to change that. The estate has been in the family for several generations... the Foucault brothers tend exceptional vineyards, harvest at small yields, vinify in barrel, let the wines age for a couple of years in a frigid cellar and bottle without filtration. The result is a few of the top red wines of the Loire Valley and in the top of France as a whole. Charles Joguet, the great winemaker of Chinon, once said: "There are two suns. One shines outside for everybody. The second shines in the Foucaults' cellar." 100% Cabernet Franc and designed for all manner of food.

1982 Gruaud-Larose, St-Julien
Bid on this bottle of 1982 Gruaud-Larose, St-Julien (98RP, 96ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A massive wine that is clearly of first-growth quality in this vintage, the 1982 Gruaud Larose remains a youngster. A broodingly dense, thick, unctuously textured, inky/plum/garnet/purple color offers up scents of beef blood, steak tartare, cassis, herbs, tobacco, and underbrush. One of the most concentrated wines of the vintage (as well as one of the most concentrated Bordeaux’s I have ever tasted), it is a huge, full-bodied, weighty, rich wine whose tannins are getting silkier and silkier. It appears set for another 30-40 years of life. This behemoth is a singularly profound example of Gruaud Larose that continues to justify its legendary status. Anticipated maturity: now-2050. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Meursault 1er Cru Goutte d’Or has similar clay to Porusots that lends them similar weight. It has a complex nose of lime flower, quince and hazelnut that gains intensity in the glass. The palate is actually quite similar to the Porusots on the entry, but for me, the finish shows superior tension and poise. This is one of Dominique’s finest. Drink 2014-2028. (NM)" (08/2013)

Bid on this half-bottle lot of 2004 Dönnhoff Oberhäuser Brücke Riesling Eiswein #23 (375ml) (99RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The first day’s Eiswein picking, December 21, yielded 2004 Oberhauser Brucke Riesling Eiswein A.P. #23. Smelling of a super concentrate and distillate of yellow plums, apricot and red raspberries, this displays enormous concentration, fat, thickness and sweetness on the palate while managing – thanks to its sheer density and spine-tingling citricity? no, make that electricity! – to be not at all cloying, and indeed positively animated. Warm cinnamon stick, vanilla, jellied red fruits, dried concentration of apple and plum, a wealth of citrus ? there is such concentration, complexity, purity and sheer length one becomes light-headed thinking about the sacrilege of trying to do it justice in a wine journal. Bid on this magnum lot of 2005 Domaine J.-F. Mugnier Nuits-St.-Georges 1er Cru "Clos de la Maréchale" (1.5 L) (94RP, 93WE, 92ST, 91BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I must admit, I did not quite “get” the 2004 when it was first released, but the quality of the 2005 is unquestionable. It has an irresistible, elegant nose that is beautifully defined and akin to a Vosne-Romanee. Wild strawberry, Morello and limestone. The palate is very well balanced with perfect acidity, natural sense of balance with a floral finish surfeit with nervosite. A brilliant wine. Drink 2010-2020+ (NM)" (09/2008)

2011 Ultramarine "Heintz Vineyard" Blanc de Blancs Sonoma Coast Sparkling Wine
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Ultramarine "Heintz Vineyard" Blanc de Blancs Sonoma Coast Sparkling Wine (95VN). Vinous: "All the elements come together in the 2011 Blanc de Blancs Charles Heintz Vineyard, a wine of such beauty I have a hard time describing it. There are simply no parallels in California. Fermentation in barrel gives the Heintz lovely texture and voluptuousness, yet the wine is not at all heavy, it just has a hint of Vilmart-like toastiness. Most importantly, the pedigrees of this site - one of the best in Sonoma - comes through with great eloquence. Cruse also shows he has conquered what is perhaps the biggest challenge in making sparkling wine - creating an elegant mousse. It is hardly a surprise other producers seek him out for advice. Readers who can find the 2011 should not hesitate, as it is truly superb. (AG)" (02/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Rene Rostaing "La Landonne" Côte-Rôtie (96RP, 95WS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 2010 Cote Rotie La Landonne reveals a dense purple color along with a huge, impressive perfume of roasted meats, black currants, black raspberries and scorched earth. This 100% Syrah comes from vines planted on exceptionally steep slopes composed of schist and iron-like sub-soils. Some graphite also makes an appearance in this mineral-dominated, well-delineated, rich, intense wine. (RP)" (12/2012)

2012 Alain Hudelot-Noellat Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Suchots"
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Alain Hudelot-Noellat Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Suchots" ((89-91RP), 91VN, 90BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Suchots comes from a 0.45-hectare holding planted back in 1920. It has a slightly muted nose out of barrel, but it unfurls revealing earthy, mossy scents with aeration. The palate is clean and fresh, but somehow foursquare and a little conservative compared to some of the domaine’s other premier crus. You get the impression that this Les Suchots is hiding something up its sleeve, whereas this vineyard is habitually one of the most expressive in its youth. (NM)" (12/2013)

1989 Château La Nerthe "Cuvée des Cadettes" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L) (OWC)
Bid on this magnum lot of 1989 Château La Nerthe "Cuvée des Cadettes" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L) (OWC - 91RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Fashioned from a blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre, and 10% Syrah, the 1989 is dense and firm, but it never seemed the same after an aggressive fining and filtration partially denuded this cuvee. Dugas admits that these earlier vintages were intensely filtered, and the percentage of new oak utilized was higher. Since the late nineties, filtration has been eliminated and the amount of new oak reduced, both encouraging developments. The wine reveals a more international as opposed to southern Rhone style, but it is still a very good wine (RP)" (01/2003)

Of the 2013 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhone Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Leading off the wines tasted from bottle, the 2013 Booker Vineyard is one of the prettier, more elegant and pure examples of this cuvee I can recall. A blend of 67% Syrah and the rest Mourvedre, fermented with 30% whole cluster, this total thrill ride offers sensational notes of creme de cassis, black raspberries, ground herbs and crushed flowers to go with a full-bodied, ultra-pure, silky and seamless style on the palate. This tannin quality is off the charts, but it needs short term cellaring to really show at its best. (JD)" (08/2016)

2006 Giuseppe E Figlio Mascarello "Monprivato" Barolo
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Giuseppe E Figlio Mascarello "Monprivato" Barolo (96RP, 93ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Mascarello’s 2006 Barolo Monprivato is incredibly primary at this stage. The 2006 is an explosive Monprivato endowed with layers of ripe red fruit backed up by firm, muscular tannins that speak with great eloquence. I expect the 2006 to go through a period of stubbornness - as it often does - but it should begin to show well at around age ten or so. From time to time, the wine shows glimpses of its nobility. The 2006 is shaping up to be a profound Monprivato. The only thing it needs is time. This is a fabulous effort from Mascarello. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2036. (AG)" (12/2010)

1996 Duhart-Milon-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1996 Duhart-Milon-Rothschild, Pauillac (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1996 Duhart-Milon-Rothschild is aging in wonderful fashion, to wit, a straight down the fairway Pauilliac. Now at 20 years of age, it has developed a fresh and very brine-scented bouquet with plenty of undergrowth and bell pepper aromas. You could almost imagine a bit of Loire Cabernet Franc in here! The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip on the entry, impressive body and backbone, likewise more than enough freshness on the structured finish laced with white pepper and bell pepper. Very classic in style, this is a Duhart for traditionalists, but I for one appreciate its style. It is drinking perfectly now but will continue to offer pleasure for another 20 years. From one parcel of low-yielding 80 year old vines, planted at 10,000 per hectare, lying next to the 1er Cru Beaux-Bruns. From BurgundyReport.com: "Michel Digioia has been at the helm of this domaine, discreetly tucked down a side-street in Chambolle, since 1999 after taking on the vines of his wife’s parents. It was his wife’s grandparents who established the domaine in the 1930s. In 2003 Michel decided to commercialise his own wine, his parents-in-law had kept only a small amount of bottles – maybe 20% – to sell, the rest had been sold as grapes or in bulk to the négoce.
