1994 Domaine Robert Arnoux Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 1994 Domaine Robert Arnoux Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru. From the Burgundy Report: "Since 1858, five generations of Arnoux have been making wine in the Côte de Nuits. There is already a 6th generation waiting in the wings with the three sons of Pascal and Florence Lachaux. Pascal was working as a pharmacist specialising in homeopathy when he met Florence Arnoux, daughter of Robert; marriage and winemaking were soon to follow. Today Florence and Pascal are working hard to accommodate this sixth generation; it’s hard to miss their large new cuverie sited behind the bright red restaurant La Toute Petite Auberge at the side of the RN74."

2009 Calera Mount Harlan Estate Chardonnay
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Calera Mount Harlan Estate Chardonnay (96RP). 96 points Robert Parker: "The brilliant 2009 Chardonnay Mt. Harlan, the finest Chardonnay Calera has made in many years, was produced from 1.65 tons of fruit per acre, and spent 10 months in French oak barrels. A chalky component (from the limestone soils of this appellation) is intermixed with quince, white currant, nectarine, orange blossom, and lemon butter notes in an incredibly complex, crystalline style. Full-bodied with stunning concentration, length, and texture, this fabulous Chardonnay could easily pass for a grand cru white Burgundy in a blind tasting. Enjoy it over the next 5-7 years." 2001 Bodegas Numanthia-Termes "Numanthia" Toro
Bid on this bottle of 2001 Bodegas Numanthia-Termes "Numanthia" Toro (95RP, 94ST). 95 points Robert Parker: "The flagship offering, the 2001 Numanthia, is fashioned from a 70-100 year old Tinta de Toro vineyard planted at a 2300 foot elevation. After a 28 day maceration, the wine undergoes malolactic in barrel, is aged 19 months in new French oak, and is bottled without fining or filtration. The spectacular, opaque purple-colored 2001 offers an explosive nose of melted licorice, barbecue smoke, blackberries, creme de cassis, camphor, and graphite. Full-bodied with gorgeously rich, concentrated fruit, a layered texture, and tremendous purity, it can be drunk young, but should hit its prime in 1-2 years, and last for 10-15." (04/04) 94 points Stephen Tanzer: "Good saturated ruby. Slightly reduced aromas of blackberry, violet, espresso and bitter chocolate. Suave and smooth in the mouth, with firm flavors of blackberry, violet and licorice. More perfumed and vibrant than the Termes. Fini
