2003 Feudi di San Gregorio "Serpico" Aglianico Irpinia (1.5L) (OWC)
Bid on this magnum lot of 2003 Feudi di San Gregorio "Serpico" Aglianico Irpinia (1.5L) (OWC - 92RP, 91WE, 90WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 is a fascinating Serpico. The wine boasts impressive concentration in its dark, rich fruit. This is an incredibly primary Serpico, with little in the way of tertiary development. Ideally, it is best left alone for another few years, but readers fortunate enough to own this are in for a thrilling ride once the wine opens up a bit. Today it remains tightly coiled but full of potential. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2023. 92+ (AG)" (08/2010)

2004 Glaetzer "Godolphin" Shiraz-Cabernet Sauvignon Barossa Valley South Australia
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Glaetzer "Godolphin" Shiraz-Cabernet Sauvignon Barossa Valley South Australia ((96-98RP), 95JH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This nearly perfect wine, made from 70% Shiraz (105- to 115-year-old vines) and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon (60- to 90-year-old vines), was cropped at a minuscule .5 to 1 ton of fruit per acre, and spent 15 months in French oak prior to bottling. Its gorgeously sweet, pure nose of crushed rocks, blueberries, cassis, and minerals soars from the glass. Floral-like black and blue fruits, an inky/purple color, and nearly endless depth and persistence on the palate are the stuff of legends. With extraordinary equilibrium, precision, and purity, it represents the apogee of Ben Glaetzer’s winemaking talents. (RP)" (10/2005)
