2010 Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Craipillot"
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Craipillot" (92BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A touch of wood spice sets off exceptionally fresh, cool and airy aromas of wild red berries plus stone and earth tones. There is good richness and intensity to the refined and energetic flavors that culminate in a harmonious and persistent finish that is moderately austere. I like the balance and this should age well." (01/2012)

Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Here the nose is also wonderfully elegant with prominent mineral reduction notes adding nuance to the otherwise fresh, pure and airy green fruit aromas. There is terrific cut and precision to the pure, tight and chiseled medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a bone dry and driving finish of superb length. A stunner of a wine with extraordinary aging potential." (09/2012)

Of the 2008 Domaine Felettig Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Carrières",Allen Meadows - Burghound writes: "An elegant and attractively pure nose of primarily red berry fruit and wet stone aromas leads to intense, detailed and mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a focused and distinctly tight finish that is presently mildly austere. This is really very pretty but it clearly is young and while it can be approached now it will almost certainly repay another 4 to 6 years of cellar time." (10/2013)

Of the 2009 Domaine Vincent Paris "Granit 60" Cornas,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The dense purple-colored 2009 Cornas Granite 60 Vieilles Vignes exhibits aromas of black raspberries, blackberries, licorice, camphor, subtle barbecue smoke and meat juices. This full-bodied, massive 2009 needs at least 5-6 years of bottle age. It should keep for 20-25 years. While the 2009s are softer and more accessible (because of lower acids and more opulent textures), they are extremely large-scaled, substantial reds that will benefit from a few more years of cellaring. 2010 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (97RP, 96WS, 94ST, 94W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Performing considerably better than it did prior to bottling, the 2010 Vieux Telegraphe Chateauneuf du Pape is one of the all-time great Vieux Telegraphes I have tasted in the last 3+ decades. I believe it is even superior to the 2007, which I had several weeks ago. The 2010 boasts a dense purple color along with a sumptuous bouquet of spring flowers, boysenberries, black cherries, black currants, nori (the sushi seaweed wrapper), black olives, licorice and pepper. This full-bodied, meaty, thick, juicy effort possesses a boatload of tannin, but it also has incredible concentration. More massive than I remember from last year, it has put on considerable weight and intensity. Forget it for 3-4 years, and drink it over the following 25-30 years. Kudos to Daniel and Frederic Brunier! (RP)" (10/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Antonio Sasa "Martina" Brunello di Montalcino (94JS). James Suckling: "Love the nose on this. Aromas of dark berries, spices and dried flowers. Full bodied, with a wonderful integrated tannin structure. Flavors are intense, yet balanced with loads of subtle and complete fruit. It will be so much better after 2014." (01/2011)

Wine Spectator: "*Top 100 Wines of 2013* Cedar, tobacco and spice hints frame dried cherry, berry and vanilla notes in this silky red. The flavors mingle nicely, framed by juicy acidity and light but firm tannins. The wine has a lovely, weightless intensity. A fine example of the traditional style. Drink now through 2020." 2005 Domaine Bouchard Pere et Fils Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des Chênes"
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Domaine Bouchard Pere et Fils Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des Chênes" (93BH, (89-92ST), 90RP). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Sweet Spot, Outstanding* By contrast to the toast of the Taillepieds, here the wood is more deftly applied as it is seamlessly integrated on both the nose and the palate, particularly on the rich, full, sweet, intense and powerful flavors where the obvious muscle continues onto the less mineral-infused but with even more impressive raw material. This is flat out superb and it's remarkable just how different these two wines are from one another yet the vineyards abut." (04/2007)

2006 Ramey "Larkmead Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Ramey "Larkmead Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93ST, 92RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Glass-staining ruby. Deep, youthfully brooding cassis and dark cherry on the nose, with a strong licorice note building in the glass. Sappy black and blue fruit flavors are framed by dusty tannins and energized by a tangy mineral note. The licorice quality repeats on the finish, which is broad, sappy and impressively persistent. For a big boy, this is pretty graceful. (ST)" (06/1999)

1999 Tardieu-Laurent Côte-Rôtie
Bid on this bottle of 1999 Tardieu-Laurent Côte-Rôtie ((95-97RP), 93ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are a whopping 30 barrels (approximately 750 cases) of the 1999 Cote Rotie. It boasts a saturated black/purple color as well as a glorious nose of over-ripe blackberries, cassis, violets, and vanillin. Unctuously-textured, unbelievably fat and dense, with a texture and richness not dissimilar from some of the profound 1947 Pomerols, this low acid wine is almost over the top, but so rich, concentrated, and pure it should provide head-turning levels of pleasure and joy for 20-25 years. Bid on this bottle of 1998 M. Chapoutier "La Mordorée" Côte-Rôtie (94RP, 94W&S, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1998 Cote Rotie La Mordoree, a wine that spends 12 months in 100% new oak, and is made from 75-80-year old Syrah vines planted on both the Cote Blonde and Cote Brune (some are adjacent to Guigal's La Turque), exhibits an opaque ruby/purple color in addition to a spectacular nose of grilled toast, cured olives, cassis, fried bacon, and smoke."
