1998&1999 Saint-Joseph Tasting Lot
Bid on this 2-bottle 1998&1999 Saint-Joseph Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 1998 Domaine Yves Cuilleron Saint-Joseph "Les Serines" (90ST) and 1-bottle of 1999 Tardieu-Laurent St. Joseph Vielles Vignes ((91-93RP), 91ST, 91WS). Of the 1999 Tardieu-Laurent St. Joseph Vielles Vignes,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "While the 2000 Tardieu-Laurent offerings are excellent for the vintage, they are significantly less concentrated and textured compared to the awesome 1999s. The 1999s which were given fabulous ratings from barrel, were not tasted from bottle. However, given part experience with bottled Tardieu-Laurent wines, they are undoutedly as good as I predicted from cask. They are not racked until bottling, produced with minimal levels of SO2, and bottled with neither fining nor filtration. (RP)" (04/2002)

2010 Turnbull "Leopoldina" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Turnbull "Leopoldina" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93WS, 92JS, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Leopoldina Vineyard, which comes from the volcanic red soils so prevalent in Oakville, exhibits brilliantly sweet creme de cassis, Christmas fruitcake, spring flower, forest floor, blue, black and red fruits, and subtle background oak characteristics. The finish is, again, 45-50 seconds. This full-bodied, modern day classic is strikingly rich and very young, so give it 5-7 years to achieve fully maturity, and drink it over the following 20-30+ years. (RP)" (10/2013)

Vinous: "Orange peel, crème brulée, lemon confit, spice and smoke notes are some of the signatures in the 2008 Chardonnay The Tributary Estate Vineyard. Ample and broad on the palate, the 2008 is close to mature in its flavors but has more than enough body and weight to hold on for another few years. (AG)" (02/2016)

2003 Maison Leroy Bourgogne Rouge
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Maison Leroy Bourgogne Rouge. From S. Irene Virbilia in the LA Times: "This is classic Pinot Noir from one of the greatest names in Burgundy. Domaine Leroy's lineup ranges from this Bourgogne Rouge at about $35 to bottles costing several hundred dollars. And though the price may seem high for an entry-level Burgundy, the 2003 Bourgogne Rouge is better than many premier crus at twice the price. With its gorgeous fruit and exquisite balance, this is no simple Burgundy, and Lalou Bize-Leroy is no average winemaker. Get it before it's snatched off the shelves. No need to put it away: It's drinking beautifully now. Pour it with grilled duck breast, lamb chops or a simple steak." (6/2007)

2013 Dehlinger Russian River Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Dehlinger Russian River Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN, 90RP, 90WS). Vinous: "A huge, dark wine the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts tremendous extract and intensity. Inky blue and purplish fruit, grilled herbs, mocha, lavender, mint, black olives flesh out in a dramatic, full-throttle Cabernet with more than enough depth to fill out its large-scaled frame. The 2013 is massively shut down today and likely to require a good number of years in bottle before it starts showing the full breadth of its personality. (AG)" (02/2016)
