2010 Kosta Browne "Gap's Crown Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Kosta Browne "Gap's Crown Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (96CG, 94WS, 93RP, 93ST, 93VN). Connoisseurs Guide: "This compelling wine earns top honors among this year's outstanding collection of Kosta Browne Pinot Noirs by dint of the extra complexity and layering that accompanies its precise, wonderfully pure varietal fruit. Its starts out with lovely aromas of ripe cherries, toast and sweet smoke, and its rich but ever-buoyant flavors deepen and gain in richness en route to a amazingly long finish. As supple and inviting as it may be at the moment, the wine is so keenly composed and well-structured that it should continue to evolve and reveal even more a half-dozen years hence." (10/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Rhys "Porcupine Hill" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (95RP, 93JG, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Coming from a single parcel of high density vines in the Bearwallow Vineyard in Anderson Valley, the 2013 Pinot Noir Porcupine Hill knocks it out of the park with it intensity and depth. Giving up fabulous black raspberry, dried rose petal, violets and spice/incense, it's pure class on the palate and has an ethereal texture, perfect balance and a great finish. 2013 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 95VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Incorporating more Petite Sirah than normal, and the first time there's been less than 50% Syrah, the 2013 Syrah Broken Stones is made from 48% Syrah, 22% Petite Sirah, 17% Grenache, 6% Mourvedre the rest Tempranillo and Roussanne. Its deep, inky color is followed by a structured, seriously mineral-laced and full-bodied red that offers lots of fruit (cassis, black cherries and raspberries), smoked earth and chocolate aromas and flavors. 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. It is so good now, why wait? However, I’m sure that like most vintages of Caymus, it will last for 20-25 years. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)

2014 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2014 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The finest vintage ever for this cuvee, the utterly spellbinding 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Galitzine Vineyard is 100% Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon that was brought up in new barrels. Slightly deeper and richer than the Columbia Valley Cabernet, its deep ruby/purple color is followed by a smorgasbord of graphite, crushed violets, crushed rocks, cassis and dark chocolate. With incredible richness, ultra-fine tannin, no hard edges and a stacked mid-palate, give this crazy good red 2-3 years of cellaring and enjoy over the following two decades! Shows every graceful aspect of a modern Napa Cab, from the perfectly ripened fruit to the unbelievably fine tannins and application of oak. Thrills the mouth with decadently rich black currants, crême de cassis, milk chocolate, anise and cedar flavors, but never loses an impeccable sense of balance and control. *Best of 2009*" (06/2009)

2011 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Juicy dark cherries, cloves, new leather, licorice and asphalt are all woven together beautifully in Mark Aubert’s 2011 Pinot Noir Ritchie Vineyard. Despite its considerable size and volume, the 2011 possesses stunning detail, nuance and freshness. Rose petals, violets and plums all grace a finish that stands out for its total elegance and class. I hope readers can appreciate how rare it is to find a wine with both this level of depth and nuance. Aromatically, the Ritchie Pinot has much in common with the Chardonnays from the same site, although I realize that may sound a bit esoteric. Maybe, but it’s true. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2023. Wilder aromas of plum, flint and smoky oak, with a cooler suggestion of menthol. Sweeter on first blush than the Pavots but with less depth to the flavors of cherry and brown spices. Finishes broad and rich, but with rougher tannins than the suaver flagship Bordeaux blend. (ST)" (06/2008)

2015 Booker "The Ones" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2015 Booker "The Ones" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 97RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Ones is probably the best Cabernet ever made from these limestone hillside vineyards in Paso Robles, and it reminds me of some of the top 2013s from Napa Valley. Blackcurrants, violets, lead pencil shavings, crème caramel and tobacco leaf nuances all emerge from this big, full-bodied beauty that has a stacked mid-palate, good acidity, ripe, present tannin and a structured vibe that’s going to age beautifully. It offers sensational purity and is a killer wine any way you look at it. Forget bottles for 3-4 years and enjoy over the following two decades." (08/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 1984 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Chateau Montelena's wines possess gorgeous potential when young, and are even better when revisited later. The 1984 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits the forward, jammy, cassis, and other black fruit character of the vintage, marvelously rich, full-bodied, concentrated flavors, high extract, gobs of glycerin, and moderate tannin in the finish. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard (92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Petit Verdot) comes from a gravelly site on the west side of Highway 29. Gun flint, crushed rock, blueberry, black currant, violet, and subtle wood characteristics are accompanied by a deep, full-bodied, stunningly rich, well-proportioned Cabernet with well-integrated tannin. 2013 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 94VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 M. Etain Cabernet Sauvignon, which is hardly a second wine by any means, offers beautiful blackcurrant fruit with some cedar wood/sandalwood notes, an opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel, stunning purity, and that layered texture that is so enticing. The wine has a beautiful opaque purple color, hints of graphite, blueberry and blackberry fruit, a touch of licorice and the soil undertones that some would say are part of the so-called "Rutherford dust" scenario, although that's debatable. This wine has the sweetness and opulence to be drunk young, but won't hit its prime for at least another 5-8 years and keep for 20-30. (RP)" (12/2015)

2003 Montrose, St-Estèphe
Bid on this bottle of 2003 Montrose, St-Estèphe (98RP, 97JS, 96VN, 95WE, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Montrose was served blind in Bordeaux on two occasions. Picked between 11 to 26 September, it is a blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. It remains one of the outstanding wines of a very black and white vintage. Without knowledge of the vintage, I was hesitant to suggest 2003, because though there is clearly fruit intensity locked up inside this Saint Estèphe, it is counterbalanced by the estate's trademark masculinity and austerity. So both on the nose and the palate it reaches this happy medium: pure blackberry, graphite and roasted herbs on the nose, perhaps even more elegant than I have observed on previous bottles. The palate is medium-bodied rather than full bodied with sturdy tannins couched in layers of seamless blackberry and cassis fruit, offset by scents of tobacco and graphite. As usual it has immense length a

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Lagrange, St-Julien (93JS, 93RP, 93W&S, 93WS, 92ST). Wine Spectator: "This is a muscular red, rippling with bramble-edged tannins that push the dense core of blackberry, fig and boysenberry fruit paste flavors along. Juicy star anise notes and a swath of well-roasted apple wood add even more range on the finish, which is seriously long. Just ever so slightly woodsy in the end, but a terrific showing. Full-bodied, with fabulous richness, texture and tremendous freshness, this first-growth-like effort is more developed than the uber-powerful 2010. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97RP, 96WE, 94VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard is the only Syrah to incorporate a splash of cofermented Viognier, which in some vintages, can be as much as 10% of the blend. Including 5% in 2011, it has a fabulous perfume of crunchy black fruit, crushed rocks, smoked earth and layers of violets and crushed flowers. Straight-up awesome on the palate, with full-bodied richness and a seamless texture, it opens up in the glass, has superb concentration and blockbuster length. Give it another 2-3 years and enjoy bottles through 2026, although it will certainly evolve longer as well. (JD)" (06/2014)

Incredibly deep. Full-bodied, with super chewy tannins. Powerful and rich with hints of wood. This is a powerful yet classic wine. I love the complexity to this - the balance. Vinous: "The pedigree of site comes through loud and clear in Aubert's 2013 Pinot Noir Ritchie Vineyard, a wine that stands out for its combination of intense fruit and pulsating acidity. Lavender, plums, mint, pine and wild flowers blossom in a dark, extroverted wine that captures the personality of the Calera clone. The 2013 retains striking freshness for such a big wine. Bid on this bottle of 2011 Lucien Le Moine 1er Cru Vosne-Romanee "Malconsorts" ((92-95BH), 95RP, (90-93ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Malconsorts (which Mounir described as a 'non-stop' i.e. mercurial) has a very classy bouquet, fine mineralite and depth. This is very complex, more so vis-a-vis the 2011 Suchots. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip, very fine acidity, and bright blackberry and raspberry fruit interlaced with citrus fruit, followed by a wonderful tense, quite structured finish. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Domaine de Beaurenard "Cuvée Boisrenard" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (97RP, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There have been a number of spectacular vintages of Domaine de Beaurenard’s luxury cuvee, Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Boisrenard, but the 2001 may be the finest they have ever produced. An inky/purple color is accompanied by aromas of creme de cassis, melted licorice, graphite, and a touch of barrique. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chateau Sixtine Chateauneuf du Pape performed exquisitely and, again, was one of the top wines of the vintage. With better integration of the new oak than I have previously seen from Jean-Marc Diffonty, this wine's opaque ruby/purple color possesses lots of licorice, asphalt, graphite, blackberry and kirsch notes as well as hints of lavender, forest floor and garrigue. This opulent, full-bodied effort is approachable, but it will not hit its full stride for another 2-4 years. It should drink well for 15-20 years thereafter. This is one of Chateauneuf du Pape's ancient estates (the recorded history dates back to 1673), long owned by the Diffonty family (presently by Jean-Marc). Their first Chateauneuf du Pape was sold under the estate name in 1902. Jean-Marc is an innovative visionary and when he took over for his father, he invested heavil

2010 Domaine de la Vieille Julienne "Les Trois Sources" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine de la Vieille Julienne "Les Trois Sources" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96RP, 94ST, 94WS, 93JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Trois Sources comes from the estate's vineyards planted in sandy soils. About 10,000 bottles have been produced. One of the great wines of the vintage, this unbelievable Chateauneuf is still extremely young and primary. Its opaque purple color is followed by scents of ink, acacia flowers, blueberries, black raspberries and blackberries. While full-bodied, extremely concentrated and massive, the wine is totally harmonious with beautifully integrated acidity, tannin and alcohol (which is no doubt in excess of 16%). Give this 2010 five more years of cellaring and drink it over the following 20-25 years. (RP)" (10/2012)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96JD, 96RP, 96WS, 94VN, 94W&S, 93WE). Wine Spectator: "This extremely dense red delivers layers of melted fig, mulled boysenberry and black currant fruit, all laced with notes of charred mesquite, hoisin sauce and Kenya AA coffee. The long, silky mouthfeel belies the latent power in reserve and there's a lot of it, with waves of grip driving the finish. Best from 2010 through 2030. *Collectibles* (JM)" (12/2009)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Gazin, Pomerol (94RP, (91-93WE), 90JS, 90VN, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Gazin’s 2008, a structured, masculine style of Pomerol, reveals a dense plum/purple color in addition to a gorgeous perfume of licorice, mocha, black currants, plums and Asian spices. Firm, dense and full-bodied with stunning concentration, it represents a hypothetical blend of its two near-by neighbors, Lafleur and Petrus. Congratulations to Gazin on another fabulous effort that still seems to be under most consumers’ radar. The 2008 should drink well for 20-25 years. (RP)" (05/2011)

Still nearly primal in the display of fruit, this relies heavily on that one aspect, eschewing range for outright hedonism, but does so very, very well. (JL, Web Only-2016)"

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The opaque purple-colored 2005 Cornas Les Terrasses du Serre is full-bodied, powerful, with a smell of graphite, pen ink, blackberry, licorice, and a bit of scorched earth. It is dense, rich, with sweet tannins, good acidity, and a very long finish. The wine will need 2-3 years of bottle age and should keep for 10-15+ years. (RP)" (04/2007)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Domaine Grand Veneur "Les Origines" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (95RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "While the Vieilles Vignes bottling wasn’t made until 2006, the 2005 Châteauneuf du Pape Les Origines goes all the way back to 1998. The 2005 checks in as a blend of 55% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre and 15% Syrah that saw 16 months in 55% concrete tank and 45% in smaller barrels. It’s a ripe, full-throttle effort that gives up lots of roasted herbs, pan drippings, black licorice and darker fruits on the nose. This is followed by a medium to full-bodied, blockbuster styled effort that has beautiful purity, lots of texture and a sexy, hard-to-resist style. It freshens up in the glass, and while drinking nicely now, will have no problems evolving gracefully for another decade. (JD)" (02/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine de la Côte de L'Ange "Vieilles Vignes" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96RP, 94WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "If you can find any, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes, which comes from nearly 80-year-old vines planted in sandy and limestone soils, is a blend of 85% Grenache aged in foudres and 15% Mourvedre aged in small oak casks. The 2007 version of this wine is prodigious, but this is close and may even eclipse that wine, but time will be the final arbiter. Dense purple, with a full-bodied mouthfeel, loads of blackberry fruit, intense kirsch, oodles of licorice, lavender, and garrigue notes, this is layered, sumptuous, full-throttle wine with good acidity, sweet, moderate tannin, and a skyscraper-like mouthfeel and finish.
