1999 Charles Heidsieck Brut Rosé Champagne
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1999 Charles Heidsieck Brut Rosé Champagne (94WS, 90W&S, 90WE). Wine Spectator: "Rich and toasty in aroma, this seamless rosé is aging gracefully, offering a silky mousse and vibrant acidity that structures the grilled hazelnut, fleur de sel, raspberry coulis, spiced plum and spun honey flavors. A delicious Champagne. Drink now through 2024. " (11/2014)

1989 Krug "Clos de Mesnil" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (OWC)
Bid on this bottle of 1989 Krug "Clos de Mesnil" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (OWC - 96RP, 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1989 Clos du Mesnil, from a warmer year, makes for a fascinating contrast to the cool inward 1988. It is a bigger, fatter wine that caresses the palate with layers of expansive, generous fruit. Sweet scents of caramel, hazelnuts and honey add complexity to the fruit. Despite its burnished, textured fruit, the 1989 remains light on its feet and superbly well-balanced but it is at, or close to, peak. To put things in perspective, the 1989 was harvested at the beginning of September -- the 7th and 8th to be exact -- while the 1988 was harvested between September 30th and October 2nd. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1988 Moët & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (94VN, 93RP, 93WS). Vinous: "An unexpected treat, the 1988 Dom Pérignon is a fabulous surprise. Here the flavors are bright, focused and tense, with attractive floral and citrus notes that cut through the richness of the chilled lobster appetizer. (AG)" (03/2014)

2002 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne (100W&S, 99JS, 98WE, 96CG, 96RP, 96VN, 92WS, 91ST). Wine & Spirits: "If a wine could ever make you want to pull the top down on your '68 Ferrari convertible, rip off the rearview mirror and take off, this is it. It has a different kind of energy than the '02 Cristal Rosé, which is more ethereal, like strawberries at the right hand of some ancient Gallic god. This is more insolent, brash, earth bound. All the scents and flavors seem to emanate from limestone, as does the acidity, which hits at the front of the mouth and powers through the wine with the kind of solar energy that lifts mist off the white chalk on a cool morning in Cramant. The wine goes on for miles. It's already irresistable, and will only improve with ten, 20, 30 and 40 years of age." (12/2009)

2004 Jacquesson "Champs Cain" Avize Brut Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Jacquesson "Champs Cain" Avize Brut Champagne (96RP, 95VN, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From vines planted in 1962, the single-vineyard Jacquesson 2004 Extra Brut Avize Champ Cain leads with an utterly remarkable nose. A greenhouse-like profusion of leafing and flowering things is imposed over sea breeze, with jasmine; musky narcissus; nose-prickling spice as if from some exotic orchid; iodine-tinged toasted shrimp shells; and toasted grain all pungently present and anticipating the elusive complexity delivered on a caressingly polished yet consummately refreshing and almost ethereally delicate palate. Over time, the sense of creaminess and the refinement of bubbles became more evident, along with a contrasting impression of enhanced piquancy, suggesting hops and lentil sprouts, all in the context of remarkable poise and transparency to nuance. The endlessly fascinating finish remains infectiously juicy and subtly yet mouthwateringly saline. Lucky o

1990 Moët & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1990 Moët & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (98RP, 93ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium lemon-straw colour. Intensely fragrant nose with aromas of jasmine, cinnamon buttered toast, stewed apples and preserved ginger. Concentrated honey-nut, warm apple tart and spice flavours fill the mouth giving ample flesh to the firm, fine structure. The bubbles are still remarkably frisky and, in harmony with the crisp backbone of acid, make for a relatively youthful, elegant and exquisitely balanced wine. Very long finish. (LPB)" (03/2009)

2006 Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne (Gift Box)
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne (Gift Box - 97VN, 95WS) in gift box. Vinous: "The 2006 Dom Pérignon is a beautifully balanced, harmonious Dom Pérignon that strikes an incredibly appealing stylistic middle ground. Rich, voluptuous and creamy, the 2006 shows off fabulous intensity in a style that brings together the ripeness of 2002 with the greater sense of verve and overall freshness that is such a signature of the 2004. Bass notes and a feeling of phenolic grip on the finish recall the 2003, as the Pinot Noir is particularly expressive today. After an irregular summer that saw elevated temperatures in July followed by cooler, damp conditions in August, more favorable weather returned in September, pushing maturation ahead and leading to a long, protracted harvest. The 2006 falls into the family of riper, more voluptuous Dom Pérignons, but without veering into the level of opulence seen in vintages such as 2002. (AG)" (10/2015)

2010 Louis Roederer Brut Rosé Champagne
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Louis Roederer Brut Rosé Champagne (96W&S, 95WE, 93WS). Wine & Spirits: "Roederer invested in a separate winery to produce its rosé, the facility completed in 2007, taking its classic saignée method wines to a new level. An estate-grown blend of pinot noir from the clay soils of Cumières with chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, this is an extraordinary vintage of Roederer Rosé. It’s a lithe wine, compelling for its precision rather than for any stylized complexity. In fact, it feels simple, naked, capturing the freshness of the grapes in pale pink energy. The transparent cherry and Honeycrisp apple flavors are inherently balanced and hard to resist." (12/2015)

2004 Ruinart "Dom Ruinart" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Ruinart "Dom Ruinart" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (97VN, 95JS, 95WS, 94ST, 93W&S). Vinous: "The 2004 Dom Ruinart is just as brilliant and viscerally thrilling as it has always been. If anything, the 2004 has shut down considerably over the last six months. Tightly coiled and exceptionally beautiful, the 2004 boasts fabulous intensity, class and pedigree. The flavors are vibrant, chiseled and crystalline in their precision. Time in bottle is doing wonders for the 2004. This is a tremendous showing. Disgorged June 2013. (AG)" (11/2014)

2006 Philipponnat "Clos de Goisses" Brut Champagne
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Philipponnat "Clos de Goisses" Brut Champagne (96VN, 94WS). Vinous: "The 2006 Clos des Goisses is stellar, but it is also going to need quite a bit of time to come into its own. Powerful and ample in the best of the Goisses style, the 2006 hits the palate with serious intensity. Orchard fruits, lemon oil, white flowers and almonds are some of the many notes that open up in the glass, but, as is often the case with young Goisses, it is the wine's gravitas that is front and center. Even with all of its overtness, though, the 2006 retains striking, crystalline purity. I imagine the 2006 will reward Champagne lovers with many decades of truly exceptional drinking. The only thing the 2006 needs is time. The question is: How much? (AG)" (08/2016)

2004 Salon Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Salon Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne (98JS, 97VN, 94WS). James Suckling: "2004 Salon weaves together immense complexity with stunning purity and makes instant impact on the nose with fresh-baked pastry and brioche, chalky minerals, fresh white mushroom, cucumber, lemon curd and striking lemon and lime citrus fruits. The palate has an almost smoky mineral thread, toasty autolytic flavors build and expand through the mid-palate, opening to grapefruit and ripe white peach flavours, lemon sorbet and very lightly grilled hazelnuts to close. This is an impressively layered Blanc de Blancs in which bright acidity supports the flavorsome, concentrated and fleshy texture in seamless balance. A great Salon, very composed and complex in every respect, a classically styled vintage in which this legendary Champagne has excelled. It will be a fascinatingly complex Champagne with further age. Drink now and for 10+ years." (05/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Schramsberg "J Schram" North Coast Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine (96CG, 96WE, 95RP, 93WS, 91BH). Wine Enthusiast: "*Editors' Choice* Elegant and almost ethereal, this wine is tantalizing and irresistible. It shows sophistication, from the mysterious, earthy bouquet to the complex, well-aged brioche and peach flavors, as well as the almost gentle texture and refined finish. While full bodied, the wine has great balance, as all the tasty components join together to weave their magic. (JG)" (06/2016)
