2015 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay ((97-100RP), 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay Eastside, from a vineyard owned by Ulises Valdez and planted with a suitcase clone from one of the Montrachet holdings in Burgundy, comes across with great ripeness (15.4% natural alcohol) compared to the 15.8% of the UV-SL. With loads of orange skin, buttered citrus, smoked hazelnuts and green apples, fabulous concentration and amazing minerality, this is another compelling Chardonnay from the genius of Mark Aubert that should drink well for a decade or more (RP)" (10/2016)

2012 Domaine Roulot Meursault 1er Cru "Clos Des Bouchères"
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Roulot Meursault 1er Cru "Clos Des Bouchères" (94RP, 93BH, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Meursault Clos des Boucheres has referenced the 'clos' on the label since the 2011 vintage. Jean-Marc told me that the clos tends to produce a more elegant wine than 'Boucheres' although there is different rootstock, so it probably a combination of those two factors. The 2012 has a slightly more herbaceous bouquet than the Porusot, with touches of nettle and Japanese mirin – introspective, bashful at first but growing in confidence in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with a slight viscosity on the entry, a little more phenolic, with almond, hints of fennel and lemongrass. This is a totally absorbing and cerebral Meursault. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine Raveneau Chablis "Valmur" Grand Cru ((93-96ST), 96VN, 95BH, 95RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Pale color. Subtle, reticent aromas of pear and stone. Densely packed and impressively intense; at once oilier and less exotic than the Blanchots. Very strong notes of wet and crushed stone along with a strong grapefruit piquancy. Voluminous and fine-grained grand cru. This is much less explosive today than the Blanchots but more harmonious and longer on the aftertaste. (ST)" (07/2011)

2012 Domaine Coche-Dury Meursault
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Coche-Dury Meursault (91RP, 90BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Meursault (my sample taken from their parcel in Chaumes) has a relatively austere bouquet at first, withholding its charm and then teasing with granitic, cold stone scents. The palate is very well balanced with a fine line of acidity and then it fans out in languid fashion with the delicately spicy finish. This is sophisticated and refined. (NM)" (06/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1999 Domaine Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Boudriotte" Blanc (90BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "There is a subtle trace of wood spice that complements the full-blown, very pungent nose and large scaled flavors that offer both solid weight and intensity. This is a big wine with a very long finish. If it can add additional complexity with bottle age, my score will be conservative." (06/2003)

2015 Kosta Browne "One Sixteen" Russian River Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Kosta Browne "One Sixteen" Russian River Valley Chardonnay. Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Based out of Sebastopol, Kosta Browne’s Dan Kosta, Michael Browne and Chris Costello continue to fashion a bevy of brilliant Pinot Noirs from a number of sites spread throughout California. The big news at this estate, however, was the purchasing of a controlling interest by J.W. Childs Associates out of Boston. Concerning the impact of this change to the wine, the winemaking remains untouched and nothing I heard during my visit gave me pause concerning the quality of this estate going forward. In addition, Browne and John Childs (the CEO of J.W. Childs Associates) have previously worked together in the past with their Cirq label, so I think Kosta Browne lovers can rest easy. Going forward, this team is increasingly looking to own and farm their vineyards, so expect quality to hold steady or even increase."

2002 Domaine Henri Boillot Montrachet Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Domaine Henri Boillot Montrachet Grand Cru ((95-98ST), 96BH). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Liqueur-like aromas of mirabelle and vanilla. Huge and powerful, verging on exotic; all minerals and iodine. Like a mouthful of liquid stone. Could hardly be more different in style from the Chevalier-Montrachet. A bit phenolic on the back end, but then this has a texture more like a red wine than a white. A trace of malic acidity currently blocks the wine's length. But this should be great. " (09/2003)

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Ruinart "Dom Ruinart" Brut Rosé Champagne (96VN, 95JS, 95ST, 95W&S, 94WE, 94WS). Vinous: "A mysterious, beguiling beauty, the 2002 Dom Ruinart Rosé boasts fabulous intensity and pure resonance. Tangerine, exotic spices, mint, crushed rose petals and sweet red berries blossom in the glass. Still, my impression is that the 2002 is holding back much of its ultimate potential, as it remains tight and much less expressive than so many other wines of the year. When the 2002 finally emerges fully, it is going to be truly monumental. Disgorged September 2012. 96+ (AG)" (11/2014)

2007 Hubert Lamy Criots Batard Montrachet
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Hubert Lamy Criots Batard Montrachet (94BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A discreet note of pain grillé frames a ripe and exuberantly fresh nose of concentrated citrus and floral aromas that precedes superbly intense mineral-laden flavors that possess a beguiling texture and positively huge length. The abundant sap coats the mouth and despite the density, this flavor profile is linear and crystalline on the explosive and almost painfully intense finish. Terrific juice and highly recommended if you can find a bottle." (07/2009)

2015 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((97-100RP), 97VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay Lauren Estate, from 17-year-old vines of primarily the Old Wente and Mt. Eden clones (but in the famous Goldridge soils that are so vital in the Russian River Valley), was the slowest to ferment, although it offers great acids, loads of nectarine and tangerine, honeysuckle, white currants, and no evidence of the 100% new oak it was aged in. This is another sensational effort, and like most Laurens will probably age for 10-15 or more years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Raveneau Chablis Grand Cru "Valmur" (95VN, 94BH, 93RP, 93ST). Vinous: "The 2011 Chablis Valmur continues along the themes set by the Blanchot. Here, too, the flavors are broad and expansive, but there is a little more nuance, detail and mineral cut, all of which help convey energy and drive allied to richness. Constantly changing in the glass, the Valmur takes on more feminine shades of nuance with air. (AG)" (08/2013)

Allen Meadows - Burghound: "*Sweet spot Outstanding* An exceptionally pure, airy and elegant nose of ripe citrus and floral aromas complement the rich, refined and gorgeously detailed flavors that manage to be at once generous yet chiseled, all wrapped in an explosive and delineated finish that seems to go on and on. The best of these Chassagne 1ers as well as the classiest. Note that there is a bit of CO2 noticeable on the finish and I would decant this for 20 minutes or so first. " (07/2007)

Eden clone, which is believed to be a clone sourced from one of Puligny-Montrachet’s grand cru vineyards. Crushed stone, quince, white currant and white peach notes all jump from the glass of this wine, which has great intensity, freshness, terrific acidity and a long finish. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Dominique Lafon Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Champs Gains". Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2012 tasting in Beaune. The 2012 Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Champ Gains shows a little reduction on the nose, albeit in an appealing manner, with endearing mineral scents developing with five to ten minutes in the glass. The palate is fresh and tensile, the acidity quite high and forming a very citric, rather sharp finish that needs to calm down, which I suspect it will if you can afford this four to five years in bottle. 2009 Billaud-Simon Chablis Grand Cru "Les Blanchots" Vieille Vignes
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Billaud-Simon Chablis Grand Cru "Les Blanchots" Vieille Vignes ((92-95BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Billaud is of the belief that Blanchot is the most mineral-dominated cru in Chablis, indeed so much so that it can be a brutal and violent wine that must be 'tamed' by the wood, hence the different vinification philosophy; the Billaud vines directly abut Les Clos). Billaud indicated that this would be bottled in late June or early July. A moderately toasty nose does not dominate the white flower, citrus, stone and seaweed-infused aromas that marry into rich, intense and impressively concentrated big-bodied though not necessarily overtly muscular flavors that also brim with ample amounts of palate coating dry extract on the dazzlingly persistent finish." Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Billaud-Simon Chablis Grand Cru "Vaudesir" (93ST, 92RP, 92VN). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(Bernard Billaud began aging this wine in 100% used futs as of vintage 2011): Pale yellow. Musky aromas of mirabelle, toasted brioche, lemon, rose petal and spices. Densely packed and youthfully closed, even austere, but hints at lovely high notes of jasmine and fleur de sel. Very unforthcoming on the spicy back end and in need of seven or eight years in the cellar. But long on potential. (I tasted a bottle of the 2007 Vaudesir, done entire in cuve, and was seduced by its saline, sake-like aromas and silky texture. This bottle, which I rated 92 points, is at the captivating stage between young and mature and is perfect for drinking now.) 93+ Points" (07/2014)

Wine & Spirits: "Henriot’s domaine in Chablis includes three acres of vines on the steep, south-facing slopes of Vaudésir. The soils are predominantly chalky clay, mixed with Kimmeridgian limestone. The wine has the beautiful fresh scent of chamomile, a bright, pure expression of chardonnay that carries its chalky floral richness all the way through to a generous end. It’s powerful yet discreet, building layers of flavor intensity and seeming to only get fresher over the course of several days." (04/2014)

This is extremely classy juice that is still drinking beautifully well and one that should continue to do so for years to come. Very impressive in every respect. 2004 Jacquesson "Champs Cain" Avize Extra Brut Champagne
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Jacquesson "Champs Cain" Avize Extra Brut Champagne (96RP, 95VN, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From vines planted in 1962, the single-vineyard Jacquesson 2004 Extra Brut Avize Champ Cain leads with an utterly remarkable nose. A greenhouse-like profusion of leafing and flowering things is imposed over sea breeze, with jasmine; musky narcissus; nose-prickling spice as if from some exotic orchid; iodine-tinged toasted shrimp shells; and toasted grain all pungently present and anticipating the elusive complexity delivered on a caressingly polished yet consummately refreshing and almost ethereally delicate palate. Over time, the sense of creaminess and the refinement of bubbles became more evident, along with a contrasting impression of enhanced piquancy, suggesting hops and lentil sprouts, all in the context of remarkable poise and transparency to nuance. The endlessly fascinating finish remains infectiously juicy and subtly yet mouthwateringly sal

This wine has phenomenal intensity, with plenty of crushed rock, pineapple, honeysuckle, orange and tangerine blossom in an elegant, medium to full-bodied style, with terrific intensity, good acidity and freshness. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From contract fruit, the Marc Morey 2007 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts is dominated by nut oils, lime, white peach, and honey, playing against chalk, salt and iodine, in a display that hints at Chablis or at Riesling. This is silken-textured, irresistibly luscious, and forward, yet not without mineral fascination, and lingeringly savory. 2012 Maison Leroy Bourgogne Blanc
Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2012 Maison Leroy Bourgogne Blanc. Maison Leroy is a négociant house steered by the indomitable Lalou Bize-Leroy. She only works with growers whose farming and fruit meet her exacting standards. Praise from Antonio Galloni: "Lalou Bize-Leroy's 2012s are stratospheric. Remarkably dense and concentrated, even by Leroy standards, the 2012s are invigorating, deeply reflective of their origins and utterly captivating. Specifically, the overall harmony of these wines and the near-perfect balance of the whole clusters gives them tremendous appeal, even at this very early stage. Bize-Leroy opted to give her 2012s very short elevage in barrel of just about seven months, which is pretty much unheard of in Burgundy. Production levels are tiny and prices are sky-high, but these remain some of the most singular wines being made anywhere in the world. It's as simple as that." (11/2014)

This is linear and direct but everything is in perfect balance. In a word, terrific. Drink: 2011+"

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Like the 2007, the 2008 Chardonnay Three Sisters Vineyard reveals a greenish hue to its straw color. The wine is slightly more intense and powerful in the mouth with a profound depth of flavor and notes of white currants, unbuttered popcorn, hazelnuts and citrus blossom as well as a distinctive floral component and minerality. Bid on this bottle of 2013 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (98RP, 97VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chardonnay Lauren Estate is made from 15-year-old vines from the old Wente and Mt. Eden clones of Chardonnay planted in Goldridge soils. This wine offers loads of nectarine, honeysuckle, liquefied rock, quince and white currants. The wine has incredible richness, no real evidence of any of the 100% new oak it is aged in, and a multi-dimensional, long finish. This compelling Chardonnay is still young and capable of lasting 10-15 years. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 11-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros "Côte de Bougerots" (OWC - 92RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Chablis Bougros Cote Bougerots is made from a steep, south-facing parcel in Bougros. It shows fabulous intensity and depth in its round, generous fruit. This really fills out on the mid-palate and finish. The radiance of the fruit makes this one of the more approachable 2009 grand crus for near and mid-term drinking, although it may age quite a bit longer based on the sheer density of its fruit. Of the 2005 Sine Qua Non "Mr. K Straw Man" Marsanne Vin de Paille (375ml),Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Even more remarkable is the 2005 Mr. K. Marsanne Vin de Paille The Straw Man. One-hundred percent Marsanne from the Beckmen Vineyard, with remarkably low alcohol (7.5%), a whopping 392 grams of residual sugar per liter, and exceptional acidity (6.4 grams of acid per liter), this is one of the most singular sweet wines I have ever tasted. It rivals the great 2000 Suey that was made from Roussanne and ended up with 241 grams of residual sugar. The individualistic, prodigious sweet wines are the products of meticulous attention to detail, obsessive harvesting requirements, and am

Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A subtle application of wood frames the distinctly restrained if admirably pure aromas of green apple, pear, white flower and wet stone. There is excellent richness to the concentrated and extract-rich big-bodied flavors that exhibit plenty of muscle where the extract imparts an attractively textured character to the emphatically dry, balanced, overtly austere and wonderfully persistent finish. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 Mr. K The Noble Man (321 grams per liter of residual sugar and 10.25 grams per liter of acidity) is made from 100% botrytised Chardonnay. Its medium gold color is followed by a wine with honeyed complexity, and huge body, sweetness, and thickness. 2013 Joseph Drouhin Beaune Clos des Mouches Blanc
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Joseph Drouhin Beaune Clos des Mouches Blanc (93RP, 90BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches was picked October 1-10, whole-cluster fruit and matured for 11 months in oak, bottled in September 2015 (incidentally, it be will packed in threes because of the small crop.) The nose is well defined, but it takes a little while to find its voice, eventually revealing white peach, wax resin and hints of white pepper. The palate is well balanced, understated at first, but then fanning out beautifully on the mid-palate with white pepper and shaved ginger rendering the finish lively and long in the mouth. It is remarkable that such a great white Burgundy has been produced in such a devastated vineyard. Victory clutched from the hands of defeat.(NM)" (12/2014)

As young as this is, it's already quite creamy. Wonderfully rich and suave wine with outstanding finishing richness and an impression of energy that leaves the salivary glands quivering.
