2002 Quilceda Creek Washington Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Quilceda Creek Washington Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97WE, 93ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Almost as good as the 2003, the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc that spent 22 months in 100% new French oak. Its youthful purple/ruby color is followed by gorgeously complex and intense aromas of wild herbs, exotic spices, caramelized beef, licorice and layers of sweet black fruits and creamy black cherry-like nuances. Full-bodied, rich and incredibly youthful, it opens up beautifully in the glass and is a total thrill ride of a Washington State Cabernet. I’d enjoy bottles over the coming decade, but it will hold longer. Drink now-2027. (JD)" (06/2013)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1999 Williams Selyem Sonoma Pinot Noir Horizontal, including 2-bottles of 1999 Williams-Selyem Sonoma County Pinot Noir and 1-bottle of 1999 Williams-Selyem Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Of the 1999 Williams-Selyem Sonoma County Pinot Noir,Connoisseurs Guide writes: "Power gives way to polish in this eminently enjoyable youngster, and the bright, almost piquant cherry-strawberry fruit that takes the lead in the nose is also the central theme of the very clean, delicately oaked flavors that follow. The wine is medium-bodied and nicely rounded in feel with nary a hint of tannic toughness, and it should match up famously with milder veal dishes or the likes of quick-seared steaks of ahi tuna." 2008 Rhys "Skyline Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Rhys "Skyline Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (94BH, (92-94RP), 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The gorgeous 2008 Pinot Noir Skyline Vineyard (175 cases from a 3 acre vineyard planted at 2,300 feet of elevation) boasts powdered rock and floral notes intermixed with sweet plum, sassafras, autumnal/forest, dark raspberry, and allspice characteristics. The complex aromatics are followed by a wine with vibrant acidity as well as impressive depth and richness. Cellar it for 2-3 years, and consume it over the following 15 or more. This ambitious operation aims to produce world-class wines from tightly-spaced, high elevation, cool climate vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains...The commitment to minimal organic and, if possible, biodynamic farming, naturally low yields, and hands-off winemaking are further evidence of the passion this estate possesses...The wines seem to possess considerable structure, and in their youth, they may only hint at

Connoisseurs Guide: " *Three Stars* As deep, as rich and as well appointed in persistent fruit as any of its stablemates, the Pinot Noir from Ms. Edwards's home property is perhaps the best bred of them all. It is at one and the same time weighty and beautifully balanced, and its composed combination of ripeness, sweet oak and fresh cherries puts it on the track for certain improvement with age. 2012 Maybach Family "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Maybach Family "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, (93-95ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the red soils near Dalla Valle in the eastern part of the Oakville Corridor, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium is a killer wine. It possesses a striking, intense, rocky minerality, an opaque purple color, and deep, beautiful aromas of camphor, spring flowers, blueberries and black raspberry fruit. There is a cool climate character (even though this is not a cool climate viticultural area) as well as superb richness, a full-bodied mouthfeel, great delineation and a mindboggling finish that lasts nearly a full minute. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More edgy and fresh than the Widowmaker, with more up-front acidity, the 2010 Camaspelo offers a classic Bordeaux-styled bouquet of deep back currant and black cherry fruit intermixed with tobacco leaf, lead pencil shavings and hints of fresh herbs. Perfumed, complex and elegant, with a full-bodied, detailed and energetic profile on the palate, it is a beautifully balanced 2010 that will benefit from short-term cellaring and have 15-20 years of ultimate longevity. This is another Howell Mountain Vineyard that has produced 350 cases of wine (16.2% alcohol) that, aromatically, reminded me (of a) superb Pomerol. Its utterly enveloping aromas of perfectly ripe currants, creamy oak and dried violets are followed up in the mouth with wonderfully extracted, carefully proportioned Cabernet flavors that go on and on. 1989 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1989 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1989 is undoubtedly the Cabernet Sauvignon of the vintage. The color is a dark ruby/purple and the nose offers up sweet, fragrant scents of black fruits, cedar, herbs, and spicy wood. In the mouth, there is extraordinary concentration, medium to full body, and an authoritatively rich, lingering finish. Terroirists will have a difficult time explaining why the wine tastes more like a Pomerol than Napa Cabernet. Interestingly, Moueix stated the key to his success in 1989 was to wait six to seven days after the rains had stopped before harvesting so the vines could shed their excess moisture. The 7,000 cases of this wine that were produced will be released in the fall of 1993. (RP)" (10/1993)

The wine's opaque ruby/purple color is followed by a sweet, jammy nose of black fruit and minerals, huge body, a sweet inner-core of ripe fruit, and a long, low acid, opulent finish. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1997 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 92ST, 92W&S, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1997 Les Pavots originates from a hillside vineyard overlooking the Knight's Valley that has 23 acres planted with Bordeaux varietals. The 1997 blend consists of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, and 9% Cabernet Franc. The wine was aged in French oak (50% new), and bottled without filtration. Fortunately, there are 4,351 cases of 750 ml bottles, as well as 330 cases of magnums. A blue/black/purple color is followed by an extraordinary bouquet of toast, blackberries, creme de cassis, licorice, and cedar. Full-bodied, with silky tannin, low acidity, and layers of concentrated, pure black fruits judiciously wrapped in subtle toasty oak, this wine can be drunk early, but promises to hit its peak in 5-7 years, and last for two or more decades." Bid on this bottle of 2007 Pierre Usseglio "Cuvée de Mon Aïeul" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (100RP, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 1,800 cases of the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee du Mon Aieul (100% tank-aged Grenache). It represents an awesome naked/virginal expression of Grenache from three vineyard parcels planted in sand, clay, and limestone soils. After tasting this wine on five separate occasions, I can state with certainty, it has the most saturated color of any Mon Aieul produced to date. Moreover, its perfume of blueberry liqueur, black raspberries, licorice, roasted meat juices, and lavender is incredible. Full-bodied power, a multilayered mouthfeel, tremendous purity, and awesome concentration put this wine in a class by itself. This sensational Chateauneuf du Pape is still very young, and 3-4 years of cellaring is required. It should be a modern day legend and last for nearly two decades. (RP)" (10/2009)

Sweet and precise on the strikingly persistent finish, which features silky tannins and a lingering floral quality. Very suave and surprisingly approachable right now. " (05/2013)

Of the 1973 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "This was an impressive showing for the 1973. At almost twenty years of age, it has matured gracefully. The color revealed a slight amber/orange rim, and the nose was full of ripe, sweet, black and red fruits intermingled with scents of oak and herbs. In the mouth, this silky, velvety textured wine exhibited fine richness, depth, and a smooth, lush, immensely enjoyable finish." (04/1992)

1993 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1993 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac ((88-90RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Pichon-Baron has performed brilliantly since 1988. How many Bordeaux estates, at any time this century, can boast that their vineyard produced a wine that was among the top dozen of the region in six consecutive vintages? The 1993 Pichon-Baron displays an impressive, nearly opaque dark ruby/purple color. The pure, sweet nose of smoky wood, combined with ripe cassis fruit and spices is moderately intense. Like most 1993s containing a large percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pichon-Baron is formidably tannic and structured, but also impressively extracted and rich. While it will not possess the pure sweetness of fruit and awesome concentration of the 1989 and 1990, it is a noteworthy success for the vintage. It will require 6-7 years of cellaring and last for 20 years." (02/1995)

1996 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1996 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien (92RP, 92ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This impressive wine is a classic. Although backward, it exhibits a dense ruby/purple color in addition to abundant black currant fruit intertwined with spicy oak and truffle-like scents. The wine is brilliantly made, full-bodied, and tightly-structured with plenty of muscle and outstanding concentration and purity. It should turn out to be a long-lived Leoville Barton, and somewhat of a sleeper. However, patience will be required. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2030. (RP)" (04/1999)

2008 Fattoria Galardi Terra di Lavoro
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Fattoria Galardi Terra di Lavoro (97RP). 97+ points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate "Galardi’s 2008 Terra di Lavoro is a legend in the making. It is a fabulously ripe, rich and seductive wine endowed with beautifully articulated dark plums, ash, leather, licorice, all of which meld together in an explosive, utterly thrilling display of class and elegance. Clean, mineral notes frame the eternal finish. Today the 2008 is impossibly young and the wine will require considerable patience, but its class, pedigree and potential are all first-rate. Simply put, the 2008 is a monumental Terra di Lavoro. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2038." Wine Advocate # 190 Aug 2010 Terra di Lavoro is 80% Aglianico and 20% Piedirosso

1966 Charles Krug "Vintage Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1966 Charles Krug "Vintage Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Eric Asimov, The New York Times: "The aroma, with its intimations of tobacco and graphite, suggested a good Pauillac, with an added touch of anise. It was lovely and graceful, tangy and deliciously fresh despite the years, and the flavors persisted in the mouth. Beautiful. It was a 1966 Charles Krug Vintage Selection Cabernet Sauvignon, the top-of-the-line wine from this historic Napa Valley producer, and if the wine was a great pleasure, I can’t say it was a great surprise...The Krug wines of the ’60s bear little resemblance to today’s Napa Cabs. It’s not just that they were so much lower in alcohol - 12 percent or so with a high in 1966 of 12.8. The wines were also fermented in open-top tanks made of redwood, a traditional material in California going back to the 19th century." (10/2011)

2001 Il Poggione Brunello di Montalcino
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Il Poggione Brunello di Montalcino (93RP, 91ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Il Poggione’s 2001 Brunello di Montalcino opens with a very distinctive nose redolent of scorched earth, tobacco and cherries initially showing a wilder side of Sangiovese in its hints of gaminess. It is full-bodied and structured on the palate, where it offers plenty of fruit, with considerable length as well as big, potent tannins. This backward, hulking Brunello is in need of considerable cellaring and is clearly built for the long haul. It is a wine of great personality and character. (AG)" (12/2006)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Roger Sabon "Prestige" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (95RP, 92ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The brilliant 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Prestige (60% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, and the balance almost every other authorized red grape of the appellation) is produced from parcels that average 90 years of age or older. It reveals the essence of Provence in its dense plum/purple color and powerful aromatics of sweet creme de cassis, black cherries, licorice, lavender, pepper, and incense. The wine possesses terrific depth, a blockbuster, opulent, multilayered texture, and a finish that lasts nearly 50 seconds. (RP)" (10/2009)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Cemetery (94% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest equal parts Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot) comes from the well-known Cemetery Vineyard in St. Helena. A terrific bouquet of acacia flowers, blueberries and blackberries is followed by a layered, opulent, rich, fleshy wine with loads of fruit, sweet tannin and excellent purity as well as length. 2001 Vérité "Le Désir" Sonoma County Red Wine
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Vérité "Le Désir" Sonoma County Red Wine (97RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2001 Le Desir (50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Malbec) came from Alexander Valley Mountain Estate fruit (two-thirds), 30% from Chalk Hill and a tiny dollop from Knight’s Valley. The most evolved of these three wines, it exhibits complex notes of spring flowers, underbrush, truffles, forest floor, camphor and red as well as black fruits. It possesses an opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel, fabulous purity and density and a long finish. The finish for all three of these wines lasts for close to a minute. Each represents extraordinary craftsmanship and, essentially, vinous confirmation of the vision of the late Jess Jackson. Those who think too many California wines are over the top may be surprised to know that the 2001 La Muse has a pH of 3.63 and a 'real' natural alcohol of 14.1%. La Joie’s pH is 3.65 and its alcohol is 14.2%, and Le Desir’
