Bid on this magnum lot of 2012 Saxum "Bone Rock - James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Syrah (1.5L) (99RP, (93-95VN), 94ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Syrah James Berry Vineyard Bone Rock is the star of the show in 2012. Borderline perfection, it has straight up awesome notes of black and blue fruits, pepper, crushed violets and searing chalky minerality that shows on both the nose and palate. Full-bodied, seamless and elegant, it's a stacked, concentrated, layered Syrah that never puts a foot wrong. Give it 2-4 years and enjoy bottles through 2032. (JD)" (08/2015)

2012 Williams Selyem "Rochioli Riverblock" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Williams Selyem "Rochioli Riverblock" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96CG, 95WE, 94ST, 92VN). Connoisseurs Guide: " *Three Stars* This decidedly pretty wine is at once both graceful and wonderfully deep with a very firm grasp on keen and lively young fruit that runs from ripe cherries to raspberries. It is impressively concentrated yet is always light on its feet and hints at that special, slightly velvety quality found in the very best versions of the grape, yet it exhibits enough youthful, back-palate tightness to make waiting the smart choice. It is bound to show a little more finishing polish once a couple of years have passed, and it will continue to grow and improve for a good many more after that." (10/2014)

2014 Cayuse "Camaspelo" Walla Walla Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Cayuse "Camaspelo" Walla Walla Valley Bordeaux Blend ((95-97RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 79% Cabernet Sauvignon and 21% Merlot that’s aging in 30% new French oak puncheons, the 2014 Camaspelo offers lots of cherry pit, black and blue fruits, violets and spice characteristics in a full-bodied, silky, polished style. It shows a touch of graphite with time in the glass, has building tannin and will keep for two decades. Looking at these latest releases from Cayuse, the 2013s are surprisingly elegant and silky, with less overall concentration and depth than I expected after tasting them from barrel last year. They possess slightly lighter, translucent colors, moderate to good concentration and polished tannin. At times I was wishing for a touch more exuberance and texture. Nevertheless, these are silky, seamless, elegant wines that will be fun to follow over the coming decade or more. The 2014s also lean towards the more elegant, streamli

This delightful, medium-bodied, and harmonious wine offers blueberry, cassis, and spice flavors. Deep, brooding aromas of strawberry, leather, smoky oak and underbrush. Solid but sullen today; comes across as almost chunky following the Clos de Vougeot and Grands-Echezeaux. A bit disjointed today, owing to its edgy acidity and dusty tannins. This wine's elements will need time to harmonize. (ST)" (05/2005)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is unlike any wine I have ever tasted from Dunn. Layer after layer of flavor saturates the palate in this opulent, full-throttle Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2007 possesses dazzling textural richness, depth and sheer intensity. Purists may prefer more structured vintages, but for a producer known for such slow maturing wines, the 2007 is a huge pleasure to taste today. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2037. (AG)" (12/2011)

Wine Spectator: " *Collectibles* I love the purity of fruit in this wine, with perfectly ripe blackberry, blueberry and raspberry on the nose. Complex and full-bodied, with hints of new oak and wonderfully polished tannins that caress the palate. Long, long finish. This is not the blockbuster it was from barrel, but rather a complete, balanced and gorgeous red. Best after 2015. (JS)" (06/2008)

Vinous: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard comes across as quite supple and voluptuous today, with tons of upfront juiciness. Racy and opulent from the outset, the Kistler Vineyard blossoms with notable depth and layers of enveloping fruit. Dark red cherry, plum, spice and lavender add the final notes of complexity in a racy, perfumed Pinot to drink over the next decade. (AG)" (01/2015)

Of the 2014 Booker "The Ones" Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "A new wine that's a selection of the top barrels, the incredible 2014 The Ones Cabernet Sauvignon is a beast of a wine that's locked and loaded with notions of creme de cassis, toasted spice, scorched earth and sweet oak. Full-bodied, unctuous and concentrated, with incredible purity and no shortage of ripe tannin, it will need a decade of cellaring and should drink brilliantly over the following two decades. 2013 Dancing Hares Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Dancing Hares Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Their flagship wine, the 2013 Proprietary Red Dancing Hares is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The color is a saturated ruby/purple, the nose sightly more restrained than the Mad Hatter, but intense, deep and promising. The wine is extremely full-bodied, with notes of chocolate, espresso, crème de cassis, licorice and blackberry, this has killer intensity, super full-bodied richness, but is relatively light on its feet for this kind of mass and richness. This is a fabulous wine and certainly a great 2013, which is saying something in a vintage that is this incredible. Drink it over the next 15-20 years. 98+ (RP)" (12/2015)

Very ripe aromas of strawberry, licorice, minerals and truffle, with balsamic and dried floral nuances. Fat, sweet, rich and deep; at once succulent and seamless, with a wonderfully layered texture and great early appeal. Very full without coming across as weighty. The slow-building finish features substantial sweet tannins. "Shows the magic side of 2001," Franco offers. "It can keep for a long time but it's great right now." It is followed by an enormously concentrated wine of full body, layers of concentration and sweet tannin. The wine seems to be just hitting its plateau of maturity, where it should last for at least 10-15 more years. A prodigious Talbot. Anticipated maturity: Now-2020. (RP)" (01/2003)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 93ST, 92CG, 90WE, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 7,000 cases of the prodigious 2006 Proprietary Red Wine (a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec). Most of the fruit comes from the Stagecoach Vineyard and the Waters Ranch. Sweet, smoky, meaty aromas interwoven with melted asphalt, camphor, blackberry, cassis, and charcoal scents emerge from the complex aromatics. In the mouth, the wine is full-bodied, displaying sweet tannin, a concentrated mouthfeel, and a long, heady finish with substantial fruit, glycerin, and extract. 2002 Corison "Kronos" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Corison "Kronos" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91ST, 90WE). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Ruby-red. Red cherry, currant, plum and a floral note on the nose; this struck me as rather Burgundian. Supple, fresh and sweet, with juicy flavors of plum, cherry, mint and flowers. Offers enticing complexity and cut. Finishes with very sweet, fine-grained tannins. The 35-year-old vines here typically yield just a ton and a half of fruit per acre. This benchland cabernet produces ripe flavors and ripe tannins early, but the St. George rootstock helps to slow down sugar accumulation, notes Corison, who added that this wine has less than 14% alcohol. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Jonata "El Alma de Jonata" Santa Ynez Valley Cabernet Franc (97RP, 93VN, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Moving to their Bordeaux blends, the El Alma de Jonata is the estate’s Cabernet Franc- dominated blend and normally incorporates 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and smaller components of Merlot and Petit Verdot. The 2007 El Alma de Jonata got a big “Wow” in my notes and is an incredible Cabernet Franc from California. Deep, rich and layered, with full-bodied richness, massive structure and ripe tannin, it offers up complex notes of chocolate, black currants, lead pencil shavings and toast as well as no hard edges and blockbuster length. It should continue to evolve gracefully, but there’s no harm in drinking it now either. Drink now-2022. (JD)" (08/2013)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes, the oldest vines planted back in 1929, has a crisp, slightly leafy bouquet with a light marine influence developing in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with fine tannins, crisp acidity and plenty of dark berry fruit toward the piquant finish. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 94RP, 93JS, 92W&S). Vinous: "A dark, brooding beauty, the 2006 Monte Bello is still very, very young. The aromatics alone are enticing, but the tannins still need time to soften. The 2006 is a masculine, vertical Monte Bello that demands cellaring. Even so, it is pretty impressive today. Scents of lavender, sage, mint and savory herbs add closing flourishes. The perfumed sweetness of the fruit (one of the hallmarks of the very late harvest) remains one of the signatures of the 2006. The 2006 can be enjoyed today or cellared for another 25+ years. 95+ Points (AG)" (07/2016)

Loaded to the gills with sweet black cherry, cassis, licorice, lavender, roasted meats and creamy licorice, it hits the palate with a massive, full-bodied profile that carries awesome fruit, building, sweet tannin, incredible depth and blockbuster length. The flavors are dark, ripe and intense, yet there are lovely floral, spice and mineral veins running through the fruit that give the wine its sense of sophistication. It is a dark, powerful wine bursting with plums, espresso, mocha, sweet French oak and licorice, all of which come together in a powerful, virile style. Layers of black fruit build effortlessly towards the opulent, caressing finish. Despite the wine’s richness, there is excellent underlying structure. Although the 2010 is an infant, its sense of harmony is so compelling the wine drinks beautifully right now. The 2010 is 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. Wine Enthusiast: "*Cellar Selection* Very fine, but tough at this time, a Cabernet that needs serious cellar time. Is it an ager? Pretty guaranteed, to judge by the big, ripe, lockdown tannins, the savory acids, and the core of sweet, sap-rich black currants. Lots of sweet new oak, too, but a wine of this size needs it. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Petite Sirah The Writing on the Wall should be the greatest Petite Sirah to ever come out of California (or the world?). Made from 94% Petite Sirah and 6% Viognier and aged in 80% old hogsheads and 20% in new French oak ... This is shallow soil interspersed with loads of pebbles and stones. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 La Tache amply illustrates why this monopole is the darling among most of those lucky enough to regularly taste or collect the wines of the Domaine de La Romanee-Conti. Hints of mocha, vanilla, maraschino, and almond paste lend a confectionary note to generously rich cassis and raspberry, while Latakia tobacco, peat, clove, black pepper, star anise, and cumin contribute commune-typical Vosne-Romanee personality in spades. The high-toned, sweet themes continue inner mouth, with intimation of heliotrope, rowan, and lily perfume, while the wine’s smoky, spicy elements seem to descend into a low-register undertone of roasted red meats and forest floor. Of the 2007 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Vinous writes: "There is so much to like about the 2007 Opus One. A wine that captures the essence of the year, the 2007 is exotic, flashy and striking. Kirsch, rose petals, pomegranates and spices form a fabric of compelling beauty. The 2007 is rich, sumptuous and generous, just as it should be. Threads of striking perfume are woven throughout, adding aromatic lift and pure sensuality. Readers who like more structured wines are likely to gravitate towards vintages such as 2010, but years like 2007 offer immense pleasure and an immediacy I find impossible to resist. A sumptuous, layered finish rounds things out in stunning style. (AG)" (06/2013)

This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. It is so good now, why wait? Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Gaja Ca'Marcanda "Magari" Toscana (94RP, 93JS, 92WS, 91VN, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Upped to a Bolgheri status (previously this wine was identified as a Toscana IGT), the 2012 Bolgheri Magari is simply delightful. This vintage shows extra heft and dimension that allows the wine to spread smoothly over the palate. Merlot is blended with Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon, and the taste profile in the 2012 vintage definitely favors the Merlot component. Soft cherry and dark berry segue to spice and moist tobacco. The structure of the two Cabernet varieties shows in the mouth where the wine is elegant and tight. It needs more time for bottle evolution. (ML)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1986 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac (100JS, 100RP, 99VN, 99WS, 98ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-black colour. An incredible array of aromas on the nose: blackberry, black cherry, tobacco, espresso, leather, black olive and loam. The palate is absolutely seamless from first impression to finish, effortlessly building layers of complexity in the mouth and leading to a very long, earth and spice finish. I can’t see how this could possibly be improvement so have no alternative but concede perfection. Drink now to 2045+. Tasted March 2009. (LPB)" (05/2009)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1998 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 91ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard was bottled earlier than usual as this vintage is not as massive or concentrated as its predecessors. To my palate, the 1998 is good, although I am not convinced it will be long lived. There are 2,300 cases of this 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit-Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc blend. It is supple and elegant, with a complex, evolved bouquet of smoke, black currants, spice box, and cedar. In the mouth, the wine is forward with sweet tannin, gorgeously rich, concentrated fruit, and impressively integrated acidity and tannin. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Gravelly Meadow could pass for a La Mission Haut-Brion in a blind tasting. Loads of crushed rock, earth and minerality are followed by blue fruits, none of the scorched earth you sometimes find in La Mission Haut-Brion in hot years, but beautifully pure blue and black fruits, medium to full-bodied, sweet, ripe tannins, and a layered mouthfeel that builds incrementally to a full-bodied yet elegant and incredibly pure, long finish. Of the 2011 Sine Qua Non "Patine - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Santa Rita Hills Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "A wine that needs to be forgotten in the cellar for 5-6 years, the 2011 Syrah Patine checks in as a blend of roughly 97% Syrah and the balance Roussanne and Viognier. It too comes all from the estate's Eleven Confessions Vineyard and saw 39 months in 63% new French oak. Backward, tight, concentrated and structured, with full-bodied richness and depth, it gives up Guigal La Landonne like aromas and flavors of graphite, sweet oak, smoked meats, pepper and black raspberry and cassis-like fruit. 2004 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95WE, 94CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The two flagship wines of this brilliant estate, which straddles the Sonoma and Napa county lines at the top of Spring Mountain, include the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot). Sixty-eight percent of the fruit comes from Sonoma and 32% from Napa. It exhibits classic notes of creme de cassis, licorice, cedarwood, incense and a hint of toasty oak in the background. Full-bodied, opulent, profound deep, rich and full with velvety edges, the tannin can be detected, but it is wonderfully integrated in this mountain-styled Cabernet. It continues Pride’s impressive track record with these special cuvees. The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve can be drunk young or cellared for two decades or more. (RP)" (04/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 1999 Emmanuel Rouget Vosne Romanee Cros Parantoux (94BH, 92ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " (with thanks to Andy Goodman). A still relatively bright, spicy and fresh red berry fruit nose that displays only a trace of secondary influence is trimmed in just enough wood to notice and introduces very ripe yet beautifully elegant and detailed middle weight flavors that culminate in a highly persistent and mouth coating finish.
