2012 Kosta Browne "Giusti Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Kosta Browne "Giusti Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (94RP, 92ST, 92VN, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I believe a new vineyard, the 2012 Pinot Noir Giusti Vineyard, shares some similarities to the the Koplen Vineyard, with its intense, focused style. Showing plenty of plum, licorice, toasted spices (cinnamon) and hints of vanilla bean, this beauty flows onto the palate with no hard edges, beautiful mid-palate density and a focused, lengthy feel on the finish. Nothing is out of place here, and it's a rock-star bottle of wine ... (JD)" (10/2014)

2013 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L)
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L) (94RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A beautiful ripe, plump, fat and opulent style of Cabernet Sauvignon that Caymus has pioneered, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon has a dense purple color, loads of juicy blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, low acidity and no real evidence of oak, but a nice, plush, full-bodied opulence. This is irresistible, especially for a Cabernet Sauvignon coming in at 14.9% natural alcohol. Drink it over the next decade or more (RP)." (12/2015)

2010 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 94ST, 93VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Even more perfumed and up-front aromatically, the 2010 Broken Stones is a brilliant effort. A multi-vineyard blend of 63% Syrah, 19% Mourvedre, 15% Grenache, and 3% Petite Sirah that was aged mostly in new French oak, it offers up a gorgeously pure array of black raspberry, charcoal, licorice, lavender, and assorted floral qualities on the nose. This flows to a full-bodied, deft, and elegant palate that has no hard edges, a weightless feel, and masses of fine, yet firm tannin on the finish. Give bottles another year or three, and then drink over the following 12-15 years. (JD)" (07/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Luciano Sandrone "Le Vigne" Barolo (95RP, 95WE, 94JS, 93ST, 93VN, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Barolo Le Vigne shows class and pedigree with bright fruit tones carefully wrapped within the wine’s elegant texture. The purity and the intensity of the wine are exceptional, especially when compared to other Barolos from this vintage. The bouquet is polished and long, with pristine accents of spice, licorice and anise seed. Made with fruit sourced from various parcels, this wine speaks with a strong and confident tone. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine de Montille Volnay 1er Cru "Les Taillepieds" ((91-93BH), 93ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright, full red. Highly complex, pretty aromas of raspberry and flowers hint at the sweetness of the vintage. Lively, nuanced and deep, with a sappy minerality that would have had me guessing Côte de Nuits. Really resounds on the broad, sweet, very long finish. This has delivered on its early potential and is an outstanding effort for the vintage. (ST)" (03/2010)

2006 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Galitzine Vineyard, located in the Red Mountain AVA, is 100% varietal. Dark ruby/purple in color, it delivers an enticing nose of pain grille, pencil lead, earth notes, spice box, violets, and assorted black fruits. On the palate it is dense, ripe, full-bodied, and structured. Still a bit tightly wound, it will reveal its full potential with another 5-7 years of cellaring. It will provide much pleasure from 2015 to 2026 at the least. (JM)" (10/2009)

Very pure, complex nose melds black cherry, minerals, black pepper, wild herbs and an earthy nuance. Large-scaled, sweet and rich, with a strong mineral underpinning to the flavors of black cherry and spices. A very powerful and impressive Clos Vougeot with outstanding persistence. 2003 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 2003 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (95VN, 94WE, 94WS, 93ST, 91RP). Vinous: "A heady, exotic wine, the 2003 Mouton Rothschild takes hold of all the senses. The ripeness and exuberance of the year comes through in spades as this dramatic, opulent wine shows off its radiant personality. The 2003 can be enjoyed now, but it could also use another few years for the tannins to soften. Still, the 2003 is pretty hard to resist today. This is an exceptional, deeply satisfying Mouton endowed with notable richness but also exceptional balance. Hints of toffee, torrefaction and dark spices are laced into the finish. In 2003 the blend is 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, all brought in between a fairly narrow window of ten days between September 15 and 25. Full-bodied and tightly-knit in texture, it has medium-firm, fine-grained tannins, and excellent concentration through the long, spicy finish. (LPB)" (02/2013)

2004 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91CG, 90VN). Connoisseurs Guide: " *Two Stars* Deep, well-defined curranty fruit is the driving force of this nicely extracted, young Cabernet, while complementary oak and deft touches of cocoa lend a boost in overall richness. If fairly full-bodied, the wine shows nary a hint of heaviness and sports a fine sense of balance from beginning to end. It is supple to start and finishes with appropriate tannins, but its astringency never gets in the way of its ongoing fruit, and time is a guaranteed remedy to its wholly acceptable toughness." 1978 Cheval Blanc, St-Émilion
Bid on this bottle of 1978 Cheval Blanc, St-Émilion (93ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright red. The captivating nose of red berries, minerals and grilled nuts is complicated by a delicate leafiness and a spicy tobacco note. Then sweet, bright and focused in the mouth, with flavors of red berries, tobacco, cedar and underbrush. Finishes very long and spicy, with a slight tannic kick at the back, but still manages to come across as refined and suave. This Cheval Blanc has always exhibited (especially in its youth), a firmer, more austere personality than most vintage. The 1978 growing season was characterized by slightly lower-than-average temperatures in the summer and fall. It was dry right through the very late harvest, which took place between October 9 and 18. There was a late start to the growth cycle and lots of mildew in the spring. This was one of the best bottles of 1978 Cheval Blanc I have ever tried. (ID)" (10/2011)

Bid on this bottle of 1998 Beau-Séjour Bécot, St-Emilion (93W&S, 91RP, 90ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1998 exhibits flamboyant, obvious new oak, but unlike other years, there is more concentration, power, and depth behind the vanillin/pain grille notes. Full-bodied, dense, and chewy, with copious peppery, herb-tinged, red currant, black currant, and blackberry fruit, this is a lush, generously-endowed offering with a lightly tannic finish. Very spicy, extroverted nose offers dark berries, licorice, clove, menthol and leather. Taut and densely packed, with complex, perfumed, soil-driven flavors of dark fruits, spices, game and underbrush. Really saturates the mouth without leaving any impression of weight. Bid on this 1.5 liter 1-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine des Chezeaux (Ponsot) Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru (1.5L) (92BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Initially this is reticent to the point of brooding but aggressive swirling liberates a very pretty, even perfumed nose of spicy red cherry, raspberry, earth and floral nuances. The palate impression is presently equally restrained with focused and well-detailed medium-bodied flavors that possess superb richness yet no lack of energy. There is first-rate purity and transparency to the highly complex, balanced and seriously long mineral-driven finish that displays just a touch of youthful asperity. This is terrific and should be excellent in time though note that moderate patience will be required as this is still markedly tight though not particularly austere." (04/2014)

1983 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this bottle of 1983 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the top successes for this property during a period of very good rather than outstanding winemaking, the 1983 is spicy, peppery, and earthy, with a fragrant, in-your-face aromatic profile. This full-bodied, corpulent, muscular Vieux-Telegraphe is one of the few wines made during the estate's high-tech period that displays some of the old, burly, thick character of pre-1979 vintages. Some amber/orange is creeping along the edge, but the wine reveals no loss of fruit. (RP)" (01/1997)

1972 Heitz "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 1972 Heitz "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This 1972 Martha's vineyard may surprise some, but not those who know the longevity and pure pleasure of this, one of California's most famous Cabernet vineyards. 1972 featured significant rain toward the end of the harvest, and many 1972s were lighter than the more highly-regarded 1973s and 1974s. 2003 Chris Ringland Shiraz Three Rivers (OWC)
Bid on this bottle of 2003 Chris Ringland Shiraz Three Rivers (OWC - 97RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Chris Ringland Shiraz has according to Ringland, "changed dramatically in the last year, getting denser". Nevertheless, it is not as saturated in color as the two previous vintages and is more advanced in its development. It is still a brilliant wine with glorious aromatics including spice box, fruitcake, dried fruits, and blueberry preserves. Savory, ripe, and elegant on the palate despite its size, it should be cellared for another 5 years and will give pleasure through 2023. The 2004 Chris Ringland Shiraz is from another top vintage. Like the other wines, it spent 42 months in new French oak. Aromas of scorched earth, pencil lead, espresso, black currant and blueberry lead to a dense, complex, youthful wine with layer upon layer of succulent fruit, impeccable balance, and a decade of aging potential. 2012 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, (93-96ST), 96VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The classic 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon included fruit from the 2-acre, old vine parcel that is nearly 70 years of age. It boasts an opaque purple color as well as copious notes of spring flowers, blackberries, black raspberries and wet rocks. The wine’s gravelly minerality and spectacular opulence and density make it an instant classic. This massive, full-bodied 2012 should drink beautifully for 15-20+ years. It showed incredibly well last year, and it still reveals the potential to possibly merit a 3-digit score – it’s that special. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this magnum lot of 2000 Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage (1.5L) (96RP, 95WS, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More forward, open and textured, the 2000 Hermitage is an almost promiscuous effort that’s just hard to resist. According to Jean-Louis, this wine has never shut down and has always delivered plenty of pleasure. It has classic cassis and blackberry fruit, bacon fat, violets and herbs to go with a full-bodied, layered and seamless, if not voluptuous, style on the palate. I’d line bottles up for drinking over the coming couple of years, but it should hold nicely for upward of a decade. (JD)" (08/2014)

Precise, well-delineated, and medium to full-bodied, with magnificent purity and understated elegance, this noble, restrained wine reveals a tannic finish, suggesting 4-5 more years of cellaring is warranted. Of the 2000 Pavie Decesse, St-Émilion,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Gerard Perse's 2000 Pavie Decesse, a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc from a vineyard situated above Pavie, on the steep limestone hillsides outside the walled town of St.-Emilion, is a fabulous effort (all the Perse wines are stunning in this vintage). Notes of camphor, creme de cassis, violets, black currants, cedar, and licorice jump from the glass of this inky/purple-hued offering. Monumental richness, sensational sweet tannin, a skyscraper-like mid-palate, and a 45+-second finish result in an extraordinary wine that is just reaching its plateau of full maturity. It should last for another 20-25 years. (RP)" (06/2010)

Of the 2000 Clos du Marquis, St-Julien,Wine Spectator writes: " ** Top 100 Wines of 2003 - #14 ** The nose shows loads of plum, spice and meat aromas, as well as hints of licorice. It's full-bodied, with firm, yet velvety textured tannins. It's big and rounded. If you can't afford Las Cases, try some of this. Some might call this a second wine, but it comes from a plot of vineyards not deemed worthy of Léoville Las Cases. So it's like its own estate. Best after 2009. (JS)" (03/2003)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Horsepower "Sur Echalas Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Grenache (OWC - 95RP, 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aged in puncheon and neutral oak and bottled in August of 2014, the 2013 Grenache Sur Echalas Vineyard sports a transparent ruby color to go with classic Grenache notes of wild strawberries, peppery herbs, licorice, hints of iron and good minerality that comes out more on the finish. Similar in style to the 2012, with a savory edge, this medium to full-bodied beauty has fine tannin, a supple, sexy texture and a great finish. It should hit prime time around age 4-6 and drink nicely through 2028. (JD)" (06/2015)

2002 Sine Qua Non "Just for the Love of It" Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Sine Qua Non "Just for the Love of It" Syrah (100RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A dead-ringer (at least aromatically) for Guigal’s single vineyard Cote Rotie La Mouline, the 2002 Just For The Love of It is the greatest California Syrah I have yet tasted. A one-thousand case blend of 96% Syrah, 2% Grenache, and 2% Viognier, it is nearly equal parts Alban, Bien Nacido, and Stolpman fruit with a small amount from both Shadow Canyon and White Hawk. It boasts a provocative perfume of creme de cassis, toast, blackberries, licorice, barbecue spice, and exotic floral scents. Extremely full-bodied, with fabulous intensity, great purity, awesome length, and a finish that lasts over a minute, this classic is a must purchase. Already accessible, it will drink well for 10-15 years. (RP)" (08/2004)

2012 Lokoya Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC)
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Lokoya Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100RP, 94VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder is as compelling a Cabernet Sauvignon as one could ever hope to taste. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a high-elevation site boasts an inky/purple color, and smells of ink, blueberry liqueur, blackberries, black raspberries, mulberries, licorice, charcoal and camphor. With magnificent fruit richness, a layered, full-bodied mouthfeel, and incredible length, this seamlessly constructed 2012 should provide immense pleasure for 25+ years. Kudos to winemaker Chris Carpenter as he is clearly at the top of his game. (RP)" (10/2014)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the perfect wines from Shafer is the 2007 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select. Think it over – in the first decade of the 21st century, Shafer scored three perfect scores and two 99s – that’s about as high a praise as I can give any producer in the world. Opaque purple in color, the 2007 has a stunning nose of sweet crème de cassis, black cherries, licorice, and toasty oak, a multilayered, full-throttle personality, and a texture that builds and builds. Great purity, fabulous fruit intensity and a richness without heaviness characterize this massive, prodigious effort from Shafer. It’s still very young, despite this vintage, which seems to be maturing precociously. I don’t believe this wine will hit its stride for at least another 5-10 years and drink well for at least 2-3 decades. (RP) " (12/2014)

2008 Abreu "Thorevilos" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Abreu "Thorevilos" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend ((96-98RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As outstanding as all the Abreu wines are, if I had to choose one that stands apart from the others it would be Thorevilos. The 2008 Thorevilos is the most complete and deeply satisfying of Abreu’s 2008s because the balance of fruit and structure is so impeccable. The 2008 literally explodes onto the palate with masses of dark fruit, tar, licorice and smoke. There is a fleshiness and depth of the fruit here that separates the Thorevilos from the other 2008s. Layers of fruit build towards the massive, masculine finish. In 2008 Thorevilos is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc and 15% Petit Verdot. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2038. (AG)" (12/2011)

1982 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1982 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (100RP, 98WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the monumental wines of the last century is the 1982 Pichon Lalande. Since bottling, it has flirted with perfection, and was a sprinter out of the gate, which gave rise to questions about how quickly it would begin its decline. However, at age 27, it retains all its glossy, rich, flamboyant cassis fruit, chocolaty, berry jam-like notes, and plenty of earthy, foresty flavors. This is a full-bodied, extravagantly rich Pichon Lalande seemingly devoid of acidity and tannin, but the wine is incredibly well-balanced and pure. It is an amazing effort! (RP)" (06/2009)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2004 Opus One Napa Valley Proprietary Red (OWC - 96RP, 93VN, 93WS, 92JS, 91ST) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aged in 100% new French oak for 17 months and in bottle for 14 months prior to release, the 2004 Opus One is a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. It boasts a dense ruby/purple color along with a sweet bouquet of lead pencil shavings, black currants and a hint of toasty oak. More evolved than usual, this full-bodied, opulent 2004 is part of the new wave of Opus Ones made under the administration of Philippe Dhalluin, the administrator of Mouton Rothschild, who has begun to exploit this estate’s enormous potential. This beauty can be drunk now or cellared for another 20 years. (RP)" (04/2014)

1997 Lafite-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1997 Lafite-Rothschild, Pauillac (92RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "It boasts an opaque dense purple color in addition to a gorgeously sweet, expansive perfume of cedar wood, black currants, lead pencil, and minerals. What follows is a fat mid-palate, medium body, explosive fruit and richness, soft tannin, and a velvety texture. It is a beautiful, compelling Lafite-Rothschild that can be drunk young, yet promises to evolve for 15+ years. Although one of the most forward Lafites ever tasted, it is all the more captivating because of this characteristic. Don't miss it! (RP)" (04/2000)

1989 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1989 Margaux, Margaux (97WS, 90RP). Wine Spectator: "This is about as alluring as it gets aromatically, with singed alder, juniper, bay and charcoal notes out front, hinting at power but turning beguiling as they flow into the core of steeped red currant, dried currant and black tea. The charcoal note makes an encore, with a lovely twinge of old-school character holding the finish. Always a great debate vis-à-vis the '90, but the slightly darker profile here gives this wine a lovely bit of extra drama. (Web Only—2014)"
