1996 Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Pucelles"
Bid on this bottle of 1996 Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Pucelles" (96VN, 95RP, 95WS). Vinous: "The opening flight of Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles from Domaine Leflaive was utterly staggering. The 2002 was seamless, ripe, opulent and intricately woven, with a kaleidoscopic, vivid expression of fruit that was breathtaking. The 1996 showed more advanced notes of smoke, tar and licorice, all wrapped around a massive core of fruit. It was a profound Pucelles. The 1989 was soft, subtle and delicate, with pretty, minty notes that added freshness on the finish. (AG)" (03/2010)

Of the 1988 Lafaurie-Peyraguey, Sauternes (375ml),Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The massively rich, yet fresh, lively 1988 offers a compelling, flowery, honeyed bouquet of vanilla custard, buttery orange/apricot scents, and smoky ceme brulee. The wine's zesty acidity brings everything into extraordinary clarity. With plenty of botrytis evident, this is a full-bodied, super-concentrated, fascinating, powerful yet elegant Sauternes that will age beautifully for 25-30 years. Anticipated maturity: 2001-2030. 2000 Verget Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Verget Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (91ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Subtly spicy aromas of tea, menthol and nutmeg. Penetrating, vineyard-typical flavors of spices, minerals and wet stone. Dense but rather uncompromising wine that avoids dryness. Rather light on its feet. Finishes with a note of butterscotch. From a yield Guffens described as "normal," in contrast to some of the other 2000s bottled under this label. (ST)" (09/2002)

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Domaine Roulot Meursault 1er Cru "Perrières" (94BH, 94ST, 93WS, (90-92RP)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Precise aromas of tangerine, crushed stone and cold steel. Wonderfully penetrating and vibrant, with lemon and stone flavors offering great class and cut. This mounts impressively on the back end, finishing with superb precision and energy. If the Boucheres is like Alsace pinot gris, this is more akin to austere, stony grand cru riesling. I'd lay this down for at least six or seven years. Interestingly, Roulot believes the '99s will be easier to drink in their earlier years than these '02s." (10/2004)

2007 Sine Qua Non "Body & Soul" Roussanne-Viognier
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Sine Qua Non "Body & Soul" Roussanne-Viognier (96RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The new cuvee of white wine, the 2007 Body and Soul, a 475-case blend of 71% Roussanne and 29% Viognier, is primarily from the 11 Confessions Vineyard. Krankl has dropped Chardonnay from the blend, and the resulting wine is a beacon for what can be achieved by blending two white Rhone varietals. About one-third new French oak is used. Honeysuckle, orange blossom, lemon oil, tropical fruit, and floral notes are found in this unctuously-textured white. Full-bodied and dry, with good underlying minerality, crispness, and an alluring freshness, it is impossible to know how such a wine will age. I just finished my last bottle of the 2001 Albino, which is aging fabulously well, and seems capable of lasting another 4-5 years. These wines are so spectacularly perfumed and intense in their youth that they are hard to resist. (RP)" (08/2009)

On the palate, this exceedingly rich, medium-to-full-bodied, oily-textured, and super-ripe wine has excellent balance and tons of sweet white peaches, pears, minerals, and lemon zest. Very ripe and dense, with a powerful rocky, saline minerality that goes right for the salivary glands. Wonderfully sweet and fine-grained wine with captivating hints of soft citrus fruits emerging with air. The impressively broad finish really reverberates in the mouth. A superb example of this vineyard, and more classic than the 2008. (ST)" (09/2009)

2013 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((96-100RP), 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The potentially perfect 2013 Chardonnay Cix Estate comes from a vineyard planted with the Reuling clone of Chardonnay. It is already showing incredible minerality along with notes of white peach, pineapple, oily citrus, apple blossom and lemon oil. This multidimensional, full-bodied, sensational Chardonnay should drink well for 10+ years. (RP)" (12/2014)

2008 Peter Michael "La Carrière" Knights Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this bottle of 2008 Peter Michael "La Carrière" Knights Valley Chardonnay (96RP, 93ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The super-concentrated 2008 Chardonnay La Carriere (2,100 cases produced) exhibits that tell-tale greenish hue to its straw color (which I always consider a positive sign), boisterous alcohol (15.5%), deep, concentrated, buttery flavors of nectarines, oranges, honeysuckle and subtle earth as well as oak, and excellent acidity. This is a superb Chardonnay to drink over the next 7-8 years. This is another winery where the stylistic differences between the 2009s (lower in alcohol, lighter-bodied, yet still intense) and the 2008s (powerful, rich, concentrated and deep because of tiny yields) are dramatic. I tended to rate the 2008s slightly higher because there is more to them and they will undoubtedly last longer, but the cool harvest 2009's larger crop size has produced wines with stunning elegance and finesse without the luxurious tactile impressions posse

2008 Kistler "Durell Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Kistler "Durell Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (94ST, 93RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright gold. A hugely aromatic bouquet evokes fresh melon, orange and pit fruits, with complicating notes of intense iodine and spices. Deeply pitched orchard fruit flavors show a strong smoky character, with juicy acidity providing shape. The iodine note repeats on the long, sappy, chewy finish, which leaves notes of pear skin and orange zest behind. I really like the interplay of richness and vibrancy here. This was made from all Wente clones. (ST)" (06/2011)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Domaine de la Pousse d'Or Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Le Cailleret" (91BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "***Outstanding*** A reserved and cool but beautifully elegant nose of white flower and green fruit aromas is trimmed in a subtle touch of oak that merge into rich, full and intense medium weight plus flavors brimming with minerality, all wrapped in an energetic and punchy finish that is linear and pure. This is not yet as complex as it will be with a few years of bottle age but I quite like the style and material." (07/2007)

It is one of the more open, accessible wines from Roulot in 2009. Layers of warm, radiant fruit caress the palate in stunning style. Mineral notes appear on the finish, but the Luchets is essentially about fruit, within the context of Meursault, of course. Anticipated maturity: 2012+. (AG)" (09/2011)

2013 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (100RP, 95VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chardonnay Eastside is from a vineyard owned by Ulises Valdez, and planted with the Montrachet clone on the very low-yielding rootstock called riparia gloire. This wine displays terrific intensity, plenty of stony minerality, and great precision in its notes of subtle white peach, pineapple, almond paste, brioche and crème brûlée. This is a killer wine and a perfect example of 2013 Chardonnay at its best. I never thought this wine could hit this peak, but the proof is in the tasting, and the wine, which was somewhat shy and reserved after bottling, has truly come to life over the last three to four months. 2013 Kongsgaard "The Judge" Napa Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Kongsgaard "The Judge" Napa Valley Chardonnay (100RP, 96VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Of course, it’s hard to find any, but there are usually about eight to 15 barrels of his estate Chardonnay from Coombsville called “The Judge” in honor of his father. From old Wente clones originally planted in 1975, yields are rarely in excess of one ton of fruit per acre, which no doubt accounts for its extraordinary intensity and richness. The 2013 Chardonnay The Judge is perfect, and certainly one of the greatest Chardonnays I have ever tasted. Keeping in mind that Kongsgaard is no youngster at this game (2015 was his 41st vintage making wine), his 2013 The Judge, from the white volcanic soil in Coombsville called tufa, is an amazing wine of great intensity, power, glory, elegance, texture, density and richness. The wine offers up loads of tangerine oil, caramelized citrus, honeysuckle, white peach, apricots, and wet stones. It seems to be a smorgasbord of a

The 1999 Corton-Charlemagne reveals lovely aromatic depth of minerals and spices. Medium-bodied, rich, and precise, this is a defined, pure, detailed wine filled with lemons, nuts, and pears. Bid on this bottle of 2002 Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru (96RP, 94BH, 94ST, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is a Chevalier-Montrachet that really delivers. The 2000 Chevalier Montrachet has a sensational walnut and smoke-tinged nose that is brilliantly focused and vibrant. This just shimmers with tension and develops hints of cockleshell with time. The palate follows through in style: taut and precise and barely showing its age, deep with great intensity and subtle notes of vanilla pod and coconut toward the finish, though they never obstruct the mineral core of this fantastic Chevalier-Montrachet. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2008 Kistler "Hyde Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay (96RP, 95ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The stunning 2008 Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard reveals an intense bouquet of tropical fruits, white currants, white peaches, pineapple and citrus oil followed by a full-bodied white that lives up to its exquisite aromatics. It should drink beautifully for 7-8 years. (RP)" (02/2011)

2005 Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru (93BH, 91ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A very subtle hint of wood spice sets off dried rose petal, citrus and peach aromas that precede the rich, structured and intense flavors that are more backward than those of the Criots and seem decidedly primary by comparison and culminate in a driving and distinctly austere finish. I should note though that this is on the awkward side today and my score offers the benefit of the doubt for the admirable track record this wine has achieved over the years, particularly since 2000." Wine Spectator: "Wonderful balance in this full-bodied '96. Distinguished and racy, with clean, ure fruit, it also offers superconcentration of mineral, earth, wet stone, pebble and lime character. Just enough toasted bread, wood accents to add a bit of complexity. Supple finish packed with ripe fruit. (PM)" (08/1998)

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" (95VN, 93BH). Vinous: "Pale yellow. Higher-pitched on the nose than the Preuses, offering strong oyster-shell minerality lifted by lavender and violet nuances. Densely packed, tactile and suave, displaying outstanding energy and inner-mouth citrussy lift. Comes across as less violent than the Preuses, and more perfumed on the palate. Finishes with oustanding length and a magically light touch. (ST)" (08/2015)

2007 Vincent Dancer Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Vincent Dancer Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru ((91-94BH), 93ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Here there is a bit more wood influence but notably less than in prior vintages, which is all to the good as this wine was sometimes over oaked. In 2007, the elegant, pure and ripe aromas are allowed center stage as they introduce detailed, stony and balanced medium-bodied flavors that are powerfully focused and detailed on the driving and equally explosive finish. This is an understated, classy and complete stunner of a wine." (07/2009)

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Musky, dusty aromas of orange zest, orange oil and minerals. Wonderfully sweet, tactile and minerally; a highly concentrated wine that really coats the palate. Finishes with explosive length. "This is a boring vineyard," says Lafon. "It too good every year; there no work to do."" (09/2002)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 J.-F. Coche-Dury Meursault ((92-94RP), 93ST, 90BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The complex 2002 Meursault (Narvaux) bursts from the glass with smoky gravel and hazelnut aromas. This fat, dense, deep wine slathers the mouth with juniper-laced bacon, spices, and white peaches. Its flavor profile is elongated throughout its impressively long, suave finish. (PR)" (02/2004)

Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A slightly riper nose features mostly yellow orchard fruit aromas with background tinges of white rose and citrus zest, the latter of which can also be found on the textured, sappy and seductive medium-bodied flavors that possess good dry extract levels that culminate in a serious, mouth coating and long finish. Lovely. (AM)" (06/2010)

Of the 2009 Kistler "Durell Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2009 Chardonnay Durell Vineyard shows the more tropical, lush side of Chardonnay. There is plenty of underlying minerality to provide support. Layers of fruit build towards the effortless, gracious finish. The Durell can be enjoyed today or cellared for a handful of years. 2005 Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (95JS, 94BH, 93W&S). James Suckling: "My birthday celebration night in Hong Kong moved on from Moët & Chandon and Dom Pérignon 2000 to a 2005 Bonneau de Martray Corton-Charlemange, which is an old favorite of mine for great white Burgundy. I often say that great Corton-Charlemagne is a red wine masquerading as a white wine because it can be so structured and textured. This 2005 was certainly like that. Some say that Bonneau de Martray went down in quality in the 1990s but then came back in the 2000s. The 2005 that we drank was excellent quality. It was a tightly structured white with sliced apples, lemon meringue and an exquisite cream character. It was full body and silky-textured, showing a dense and beautiful palate. It still needs at least two or three years to open and show its true quality." (06/2016)

2009 Peter Michael "Point Rouge" Sonoma County Chardonnay
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2009 Peter Michael "Point Rouge" Sonoma County Chardonnay (95ST, 94RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Hazy gold. High-pitched aromas of citrus zest, white flowers and quince, with deeper notes of toasty lees and honey adding power. Densely packed lemon curd and orchard fruit flavors are underscored by a zesty mineral quality and show impressive precision. The minerality dominates the long, chewy, finely etched finish, which leaves a sexy floral note behind. This should age slowly; Nic Morlet told me that he left just one cluster of grapes per Chardonnay shoot in 2009 and that almost no sulfur was used to make this wine. (ST)" (06/2011)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Roulot Meursault 1er Cru "Les Porusots" (95RP, (90-93BH), 93VN, 93WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Meursault 1er Cru Porusot (spelled with an “s” not “z”!) comes from two parcels. It has a scintillating, vibrant mineral-driven bouquet stylistically equidistant between Puligny and Meursault. The palate is extremely well-balanced with immense precision, starting off with real race and drive and then easing back toward the finish that offers just a touch of spice. This is another superb Meursault ‘11 from Jean-Marc. (NM)" (08/2013)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" (OWC - 95BH, 94RP, 93ST) in original wood. Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Here the wood influence is somewhat more noticeable though not enough to materially detract from the otherwise pure, cool and high-toned white flower, stone and sea breeze suffused aromas that complement well the rich, powerful and intensely mineral-driven flavors that possess fine focus and verve on the explosively long and oyster shell-infused finish. This is seriously impressive in absolute terms but especially so in the context of the vintage." (10/2011)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The spectacular 2001 Meursault-Charmes reveals a boisterous nose of cloves, pears, spices, and white peaches. Hugely expansive, powerful, chewy-textured, and supple, this velvety wine slathers the palate with white pepper-laced apple compote whose flavors linger in its 45 second finish. (PR)" (06/2003)

2013 Domaine Colin-Deléger Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Domaine Colin-Deléger Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru (94BH, (91-93ST)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Don't Miss!* A gorgeously perfumed, elegant and intensely floral nose displays background nuances of spice, citrus, honeysuckle and wet stone. The refinement continues onto the pungently mineral-driven flavors that possess a bit more overall size, weight and mid-palate concentration than the Demoiselles, all wrapped in a cool, classy and hugely persistent finish. This is positively Zen-like and this should amply repay up to a decade of cellaring, perhaps even a bit more. This is class in a glass." (06/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Meursault 1er Cru "Les Perrieres" (94ST, 93BH, 92WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Soil-inflected nose offers lemon, crushed stone and minerals. Classically dry but rich, with superb breadth of flavor and a palate-staining quality I can only describe as grand cru-like. Wonderfully tactile, saline, chewy wine that finishes with rising sweetness and outstanding persistence. These vines are 45 years old, vs. close to 60 for the Genevrieres. (ST)" (09/2008)

This is a real mouthful of rocks. Becomes spicier and more floral with air and finishes with superb precision and length." (06/2011)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Billaud-Simon Chablis-Vaudésir Grand Cru ((93-95JS), 92RP, (89-91ST)). James Suckling: "A moderately riper yet extremely tight nose of iodine, salt and intense sea shore aromas complement to perfection the rich, full and powerful flavors that are a big step up in weight and power as they etch themselves into the palate on the broad-shouldered and muscular finish. This isn't a wine of finesse but as Chablis goes, this is a bruiser of superb intensity that embodies the phrase "jus de pierre" (rock juice)." (10/2009)
