2004 J.-F. Coche-Dury Puligny-Montrachet "Enseignères"
Bid on this bottle of 2004 J.-F. Coche-Dury Puligny-Montrachet "Enseignères" (92BH, 92RP, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Puligny-Montrachet Enseignieres from Jean-Francois Coche has a surprisingly pale color. The nose is taciturn at first, only reluctantly opening to reveal grass clipping and dandelion scents, a limestone element surfacing and then expanding. The palate is nicely balanced with a Meursault-like, walnut- inspired entry. It is elegant and suave with an understated almond and hazelnut finish that waltzes along. This is very refined and drinking beautifully. Drink now-2025. Tasted November 2013. (NM)" (11/2013)

Of the 2003 Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage Blanc,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Another sensational white that made my eyes roll back in my head, the 2003 Hermitage Blanc is even more over the top and decadent than the '09. Possessing almost no acidity, it's a flamboyant, massively concentrated, decadent and heady effort that's overflowing with notions of honey, caramelized oranges, currants, licorice and buttered hazelnuts. Staying fresh and lively, it's a monumental Hermitage Blanc that will probably live forever on its sheer concentration. (JD)" (09/2015)

Classy aromas of tangy grapefruit, pear eau de vie and minerals. Dense, pure, ripe and delineated; vibrant, pristine citrus, spice and stony flavors. Firm and brisk but creamy at the core, in the style of the vintage. Palate-staining finish features almost painful grip. (ST)" (09/1999)

It is one of the more open, accessible wines from Roulot in 2009. Layers of warm, radiant fruit caress the palate in stunning style. Mineral notes appear on the finish, but the Luchets is essentially about fruit, within the context of Meursault, of course. Anticipated maturity: 2012+. (AG)" (09/2011)

2010 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (94RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chardonnay UV-SL Vineyard boasts remarkable textural depth and finesse. Rich, round and seamless, the UV-SL is all about body and endless layers of flavor. An element of salinity gives a finish laced with white flowers and citrus of considerable freshness. This is a stunning set of wines from Mark Aubert. Both the Chardonnays and Pinots developed considerably over the time I followed them. Readers should open the wines at least several hours in advance. In general, the 2010s are brighter and more focused than the 2009s, which are more generous. Alcohol levels are also lower across the board in 2010. (AG)" (02/2012)

1990 Robert Ampeau & Fils Puligny Montrachet Les Combettes
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1990 Robert Ampeau & Fils Puligny Montrachet Les Combettes (92BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Quite golden though with no browning. In contrast to the color which would have suggested the presence of the initial hints of oxidation, the nose is actually quite fresh with floral, citrus and aged pain grillé hints that complement the very rich, full-bodied and generous flavors that possess good mid-palate sap and in contrast to the typical Combettes, more minerality than usual on the long, delicious and mouth coating finish. A lovely example that has peaked but if well-stored, there is no reason that it couldn't do so for another decade, perhaps longer." (11/2009)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Vincent Dancer Meursault 1er Cru "Les Perrieres" (94ST, 92BH, 92RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: " (just 22 hectoliters per hectare were produced, according to Dancer): Compelling sweetness and lift to the aromas of lemon, orange, peach and crushed stone, plus a whiff of hazelnut. Boasts outstanding tactile concentration and suavity, with fine-grained flavors of orange zest, pineapple and minerals carrying through on the building whiplash of a finish. Just a hint of exotic fruits to indicate the vintage. "The year was saved by lousy July and August weather, which had the effect of extending the ripening period," noted Dancer. A stunningly complex premier cru--but then much of this vineyard merits grand cru status. (ST)" (09/2014)

2011 Aubert Carneros Chardonnay
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2011 Aubert Carneros Chardonnay (91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Chardonnay Carneros is classy, layered and exceptionally beautiful. Lemon, apricots, pears and white flowers all wrap around the palate, but what stands out most is the sheer silkiness and textural finesse of the wine. Moreover, tropical notes emerge with time, but in the end, this is a fairly restrained Chardonnay from Mark Aubert. Sweet floral notes meld into the soft, caressing finish. In 2011, Aubert lost a considerable amount of fruit in Hyde. The bulk of the wine was sold off, but Aubert bottled the best 40% and declassified it into the Carneros appellation wine. Tasting the 2011, I can only wonder what might have been had the vintage not been so capricious. (AG)" (04/2013)

Complex, precise, perfumed aromas of flower blossom, citrus peel, lichee, licorice and white pepper, with riper hints of mandarin orange and tangerine. A step up in concentration and flavor complexity from the Carriere, with more texture and extract. Still quite youthfully firm-edged on the finish. (ST)" (06/2002)

This is a really wonderful effort with laser-like focus and a beguiling sense of overall harmony." (01/2011)

2011 Aubert Napa Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Aubert Napa Valley Chardonnay (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Chardonnay Napa Valley bristles on the palate with gorgeous energy and vibrancy. Crushed rocks, lemon peel and white flowers are all very much alive in the glass. This is another of the truly intriguing wines in the range. The Napa is made from a parcel owned by Aubert that David Abreu planted six years ago with a Montrachet selection. The vines are naturally quite young, but the results are already striking. With time in the glass, the 2011 opens up beautifully, finishing with gorgeous richness and pure texture. This is a dazzling wine by any measure. (AG)" (04/2013)

Fortunately, the larger production should guarantee some availability. This wine has phenomenal intensity, with plenty of crushed rock, pineapple, honeysuckle, orange and tangerine blossom in an elegant, medium to full-bodied style, with terrific intensity, good acidity and freshness. Typically, the 1999 exhibits distinctive aromas of smoky tropical fruit intermixed with peaches, apricots, and pears. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Aubert Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. In vintage notes focusing on Aubert's single vineyard Chardonnays (various lots of which undoubtedly comprise this appellation-wide, Sonoma Coast Chardonnay) Antonio Galloni, writing in the Wine Advocate, noted: "This is a stunning set of wines from Mark Aubert. Both the Chardonnays and Pinots developed considerably over the time I followed them. Readers should open the wines at least several hours in advance. In general, the 2010s are brighter and more focused than the 2009s, which are more generous. Alcohol levels are also lower across the board in 2010. 2012 Sine Qua Non "In the Abstract" Proprietary White Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Sine Qua Non "In the Abstract" Proprietary White Blend (97RP, 95JS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In the same league, the 2012 In The Abstract is a classic Sine Qua Non white blend of 37% Chardonnay, 31% Roussanne, 16% Petite Manseng and 16% Viognier. Coming from roughly equal parts Bien Nacido, Cumulus and Eleven Confessions vineyard, it spent just under 19 months in 48% used barrels (1-4 years old), 27% new French oak and the balance in concrete eggs. It sports a slightly darker color than the Chardonnay and offers up incredible notes of caramelized peaches, poached apples, white flowers and crushed rock that flow seamlessly to a full-bodied, decadent, yet classy and graceful feel on the palate. 2005 Albert Grivault Meursault 1er Cru "Les Perrières"
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Albert Grivault Meursault 1er Cru "Les Perrières" (90BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "As it always is, this is a clear step up in quality and elegance with its airy and pure white flower and spiced pear nose giving way to minerally, precise and intense flavors that are already delicious yet there is a certain reserve to the fleshy, opulent and generous finish that should allow this to improve over the next 3 to 5 years. This is not as elegant as the Clos but I like the power and length here. Recommended." (07/2007)

2013 Sine Qua Non "Résisté" Central Coast Proprietary White
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Sine Qua Non "Résisté" Central Coast Proprietary White (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "the 2013 White Wine Resiste is a sensational white from California that's made from 45% Roussanne, 26% Chardonnay, 14% Petite Manseng, 10% Viognier and 5% Marsanne that spent 19 months in 46% new French oak and the balance in concrete eggs and used barrels. Possessing rock-star levels of richness and texture on the palate, with full-bodied depth and power that never seems heavy or cumbersome, it has classic SQN white notes of buttered golden fruits, honeysuckle, honeycomb, toast and white flowers. Unctuous, full-flavored and still lively and fresh, it needs 2-3 years of cellaring and will keep for two decades. (JD)" (08/2015)

2008 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Utterly perfect, the 2008 Chardonnay Marcassin Estate is a dead-ringer for the 2007, but slightly richer and longer, as hard as that may be to believe. This extraordinary effort is unquestionably the 'Chardonnay of the Vintage.' In fact, it may be the 'Chardonnay of the Decade.' Brioche, nectarine, citrus and orange blossom notes intermixed with a liqueur of rocks, great acid, phenomenal concentration and staggering length result in a sublime Chardonnay that should drink well for 15+ years. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 Pousse d'Or Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Le Cailleret" (92BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "*Sweet spot outstanding* This is notably more elegant, refined and complex, both on the layered, cool and airy nose as well as the intensely stony medium-bodied flavors that possess ample dry extract that completely buffers the firm acid spine on the balanced, harmonious and classy finish. I particularly like the mouth feel as this is pure silk and satin." (07/2009)
