2004 Duhart-Milon, Pauillac
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Duhart-Milon, Pauillac (91RP, 91WE, 90W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another sleeper of the vintage for this property that has been doing impressive work over recent vintages, the 2004 (a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot) displays a dark ruby/purple color along with classic aromas of cedar, creme de cassis, earth, spice, and wood. Medium to full-bodied, ripe, long, and impressively endowed, it should be at its peak between 2010-2022. (RP)" (06/2007)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac (94RP, 94WE, 93W&S, 92JS, 91ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at the London Pichon-Baron off-line. This is a great, great 2004 – a huge success for Christian Seely in a more challenging growing season than the ensuing one. A soaring blackberry, blueberry, cedar and wild strawberry nose with a touch of violets. Very fine tannins on the full-bodied palate, superb focus, elegant and feminine with a touch of burst toast and graphite on the finish. Great persistency. Quintessential Pauillac – at its finest. Drink 2012-2025. Tasted May 2009. (NM)" (05/2009)

2004 Domaine Étienne Sauzet Montrachet Grand Cru
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Domaine Étienne Sauzet Montrachet Grand Cru (96WE, 95BH). Wine Enthusiast: "A fine wine that offers power, generosity and also a chalky, mineral character. No wonder Montrachet is seen as the greatest grand cru—it has structure, concentration, delicious fruit and layers of complexity. It also needs to age. To drink this wine now would be more than a shame. (RV)" (12/2006)

2004 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (96W&S, 96WE, 95WS, 92RP, 91ST). Wine Enthusiast: "Of the pair of châteaux, La Mission Haut-Brion and Haut-Brion (both owned by the Dillon banking family) that face each other across the crowded streets of Pessac, Haut-Brion is the one with the structure, the darkness, the brooding character. This is so true of 2004, with its hugely firm structure underlying the initial supple fruit. At the end, the acidity is an enticing surprise, lifting the aftertaste." (06/2007)

2004 Merus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Merus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This boutique blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec is a broodingly backward, formidably endowed, full throttle, pedal-to-the-metal style of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2004’s 15.5% alcohol is well-concealed by the wine’s wealth of fruit and glycerin. This full-bodied beauty is black as a moonless night. It exhibits abundant notes of plums, blackberries and creme de cassis as well as nicely integrated wood, acidity and tannin. It will offer an impeccable well-made, stunningly rich, complex, two-fisted glass of Cabernet Sauvignon over the next 15+ years. 96+ (RP)" (04/2014)

2004 Bond "St. Eden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum lot of 2004 Bond "St. Eden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (98RP, 96WE, 93VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon St. Eden, which comes from a valley floor vineyard in Oakville, is another dead ringer for a great Pauillac, possibly a young Mouton. Dense bluish/purple in color with stunning notes of cedarwood, unsmoked high-quality cigar tobacco, creme de cassis and espresso roast, this wine has fabulous fruit, density and a full-bodied, youthful mouthfeel, wonderful balance and purity, and a terrific finish that goes on for close to a minute. This is also relatively open, but slightly more structured than the Melbury. There’s no sense deferring gratification, so I would suggest drinking it over the next 15-20 years, possibly longer. 2004 Bruno Giacosa "Asili" Barbaresco Riserva
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Bruno Giacosa "Asili" Barbaresco Riserva (99VN, 97JS, 96ST, 96WS). Vinous: "The 2004 Barbaresco Riserva Asili is easily one of the greatest wines Bruno Giacosa made during his long and distinguished career. Next to the other wines of the vintage here, the Asili Riserva is defined by its stunning inner sweetness, soaring aromatics and silky tannins. One of the attributes all great wines share is their ability to stimulate all the senses, from the intellectual to the hedonistic. The 2004 Asili Riserva hits all the right spots and then some. This is just about as good as it gets. (AG)" (06/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle 2004&2005 Bond "Matriarch" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend Vertical, including 1-bottle of 2004 Bond "Matriarch" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 92ST, 92WE, 91WS) and 1-bottle of 2005 Bond "Matriarch" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98WE, 92RP, 92ST, 90WS). Of the 2005 Bond "Matriarch" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Wine Enthusiast writes: "This year’s Matriarch is very similar to Harlan Estate in structure, and in some ways, a superior wine, or at least more delicious now. Shows the most beautiful black currant, cedar, blueberry pie and Asian spice flavors. What makes the structure so gorgeous are the firm tannins. Ultimately, it’s a refined, exquisite red wine. Hard to imagine a better one for drinking over the next decade, and just shows that price sometimes has no relationship to quality." (05/2009)

2004 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aged 20 months in 72% new French oak, this blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc comes from a great vineyard on the valley floor in Oakville, just south of Rudd Estate and Plumpjack. The wine’s dense ruby/purple color is followed by a beautiful, Pauillac-like (think Pontet Canet or Mouton), ethereal perfume of creme de cassis, or as Michael Broadbent used to say, 'celestial black currants,' full body, a velvety texture, fine tannins, a multidimensional mouthfeel, and a terrific finish ... 97+ points. 2004 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum lot of 2004 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (96RP, 94VN, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Vecina emerges from an 11-acre western Oakville hillside not far from the famed Harlan Estate. This wine, which I rated identically in 2008, has a huge nose of bouquet garni, roasted meats and is clearly the spiciest of all the Bond 2004s. It is full-bodied, viscous and thick, with some tannins still to resolve in the finish. Again, there’s no reason to defer gratification because of the incredibly complex aromas as well as flavors. Some new saddle leather also makes an appearance in this multidimensional, full and impressive wine ... (RP)" (04/2014)

2004 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95WE, 94CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The two flagship wines of this brilliant estate, which straddles the Sonoma and Napa county lines at the top of Spring Mountain, include the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot). Sixty-eight percent of the fruit comes from Sonoma and 32% from Napa. It exhibits classic notes of creme de cassis, licorice, cedarwood, incense and a hint of toasty oak in the background. Full-bodied, opulent, profound deep, rich and full with velvety edges, the tannin can be detected, but it is wonderfully integrated in this mountain-styled Cabernet. It continues Pride’s impressive track record with these special cuvees. The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve can be drunk young or cellared for two decades or more. (RP)" (04/2014)
