1990 Lafite-Rothschild, Pauillac (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 1990 Lafite-Rothschild, Pauillac (1.5L) (96RP, 96ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1990 Lafite has turned out far better than my early assessment. While it still possesses some firmness, and performs like a late adolescent in terms of its evolution, it boasts gorgeous aromas of cedar, tobacco leaf, cassis, and lead pencil shavings. The explosive aromas are followed by a fleshy, full-bodied wine that should hit its peak in 5-8 years, and last for 25-30 more. (RP)" (06/2009)

Of the 2005 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Red Blend (1.5L),Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Vecina is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in 100% new oak, like the other cuvées. It is from an 11-acre site directly southeast of the Bond Winery, close to Harlan Estate. This wine tends to be the closest to the Harlan Estate in quality, with notes of new saddle leather, blackberry, roasted coffee and a hint of chocolate – and again – graphite and subtle smoke. Opaque purple, but still incredibly youthful, the wine is spicy, intense, full-bodied and majestic. There is a deep tone to this massive Cabernet Sauvigno

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer George III Vineyard, which comes from the Beckstoffer-owned vineyard in Rutherford and clone 337, exhibits an opaque purple color and a beautiful nose of creosote, graphite, charcoal, blackberry and blueberry. It’s dense, full-bodied and opulent, with great acidity and sweet, well-integrated tannins. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Quilceda Creek "Palengat Vineyard" Horse Heaven Hills Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 61% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc and the balance Petit Verdot, the 2011 Palengat Vineyard has a great bouquet of sweet plum liqueur, blackberry, graphite, lead pencil shavings and toast. This is followed by a full-bodied effort that has beautiful concentration (especially in the vintage), loads of texture and ripe underlying tannic structure. Reasonably approachable now, it will nevertheless evolve gracefully on its overall balance. Enjoy bottles over the coming 10-15 years. (JD)" (06/2014)

2012 Realm "Farella Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Realm "Farella Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95VN, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The single-vineyard 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard comes from a hillside, cool-climate site in the Coombsville AVA in the eastern Vaca Mountains. In the past, much of this fruit went into early vintages of Opus One. This is a tannic, opulent, backward, primary effort displaying an inky/purple color along with notes of incense, camphor, toast and abundant black fruits. Full-bodied, dramatic, slightly tannic and structured, this masculine-styled 2012 will benefit from several years in the cellar, and should drink well for two decades. A true first-growth vineyard is the Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard, which is located in the heart of St. Helena just off Route 29. The vineyard is planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon and two small parcels of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. For whatever reason, anyone who gets fruit off this vineyard tends to

1990 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1990 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (94ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright red with a pale rim. Knockout nose of aromatic herbs, strawberry, sweet spices and acacia flower; yet another wine strongly marked by its Cabernet Franc presence. Fresh and vibrant, this absolutely dances on the palate with strawberry, sour red cherry and raspberry flavors complicated by gunflint and herbs. High acidity provides great clarity and cut to the long, floral, smoothly tannic finish. This has improved considerably with bottle age. Harvested from September 18 through October 3, this Mouton offers amazing balance and fragrance. In 1990 Mouton was still using a heavy toast for its barriques, which resulted in a smoky quality in the wines that was considered by many to be just as typical of Mouton as its opulence. 2010 Alpha Omega Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Alpha Omega Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is seriously beautiful. A dark, imposing wine, the 2010 wraps around the palate with layers of persistent dark fruit. There is a brooding inner intensity that is highly appealing. Today, the 2010 is very primary, but it should develop nicely and continue to drink well for another decade, perhaps longer. Hints of mocha and espresso add complexity on the racy, expansive finish. The 2010 is 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot and 8% Merlot. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2022. (AG)" (12/2012)

2012 The Mascot (Harlan) Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 The Mascot (Harlan) Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. From the producer: "Although I grew up running around the winery, hand-turning de-stemmers, and eating grapes off the vines in our backyard, I never thought I’d discover my own passion in making wine. My family has been in the business longer than I’ve been around, but it was only a handful of years ago that curiosity led me beyond the event horizon of this world. It began with the experience of learning the complexities of blending wine in 2008, and progressed steadily until I found myself working in the cellar, handling barrel fermentation throughout the harvest of 2012. Made from the younger vines of Harlan Estate, BOND, and Promontory, The Mascot shares a unique glimpse into the evolution of our winegrowing estates. The Mascot began early on as an experiment, after talking the family and winemaking team into sparing a few barrels of wine - produced from our younger vines - to explore a blend of my own.

2002 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien (95RP, 94WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Only 43% of the production made it into the final blend of this remarkable 2002. Produced from a low 17 hectoliters per hectare, it includes 66.7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14.5% Merlot, 13.9% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot. It has the highest alcohol ever achieved in a Leoville Las Cases (13.5%) as well as a lofty pH of 3.85. Nevertheless, the impression is one of a structured wine with considerable density, a ruby/purple color, layers of flavor, and a classic overall personality. The wine exhibits pure black currant, licorice-infused fruit, huge body, a viscous mid-palate, and a long, heady finish. I suspect this wine won’t be nearly as charming as the 2003 in its youth, but it hasn’t yet closed down, and I am amazed at just how rich, intense, and full-bodied it tastes even after bottling. This is certainly one of the half dozen or so candidates for wine of the vint

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97WE, 95VN, 94CG, 94RP, 93WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Tasted in October, 2007, the wine was mute, offering little aromatically except for teasing notes of blackberries and oak. That shyness extended to the taste, where strong, hard tannins provide an almost impenetrable coat of armor to what’s inside. But right down the middle of the palate is a deep, intensely powerful stream of perfectly ripened cassis that’s all the proof you need of ageability. This is a magnificently structured young wine, reminiscent of a fine young Pauillac. Best after 2012, and should have another decade after that, at least." (02/2008)

2004 Philip Togni Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Philip Togni Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95VN, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, comes from steep mountain vineyards at the top of the Napa side of Spring Mountain. Aromas of black olives, tapenade, creme de cassis, licorice and truffles emerge from this opaque ruby/purple-colored, youthful 2004. Togni’s spiritual reference point is Bordeaux more than Napa Valley, and his wines seem to represent a hypothetical melange of those two distinctive schools of wine. Still backward, but rich, full-bodied and promising, this brilliant 2004 is 5-7 years away from its adolescence; it should age for 30-40 years. (RP)" (04/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Rivers-Marie Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon (92VN). Vinous: "A dark, brooding wine, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Calistoga captures the personality of this site nicely. Smoke, scorched earth, tar, licorice and plum give the wine much of its dark, imposing personality. This is an especially virile wine, but Thomas Brown has done a very good job in softening some of the contours. The Calistoga Cabernet emerges from one of the choicest parcels at Larkmead. Raspberry jam, pomegranate, white flowers, mint and spices are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. A wine with a distinctly red-hued profile, silky tannins, no hard edges and exceptional overall balance, the 2012 Monte Bello is simply magnificent. Bid on this bottle of 1982 Latour, Pauillac (100DC, 100RP, 100VN, 98JS, 98WS, 97ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Always somewhat atypical, the 1982 Latour has been the most opulent, flamboyant, and precocious of the northern Medocs, especially the St.-Juliens, Pauillacs, and St.-Estephes. It hasn't changed much over the last 10-15 years, revealing sweet tannins as well as extraordinarily decadent, even extravagant levels of fruit, glycerin, and body. It is an amazing wine, and on several occasions, I have actually picked it as a right bank Pomerol because of the lushness and succulence of the cedary, blackberry, black currant fruit. This vintage has always tasted great, even in its youth, and revealed a precociousness that one does not associate with this Chateau. However, the 1982 is still evolving at a glacial pace. The concentration remains remarkable, and the wine is a full-bodied, exuberant, rich, classic Pauillac in its aromatic and flavor profiles...This remarkable effort wi

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select is a perfect wine. It elicits more than a few 'wows' when you smell the incredible notes of charcoal, graphite and subtle toast, buttressed and dominated by blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry fruit. The purity of these fruits, the multidimensional mouthfeel, the seamless integration of acid, alcohol, tannin and wood are all flawless. The 2012 signature adds an extravagant opulence and density that is just mind-boggling, and the wine is a total hedonistic and intellectual turn-on already, although it has 30+ years of life ahead of it. 2014 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2014 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer to Kalon Vineyard, coming from clones 4 and 337 from that famous first-growth Oakville vineyard of 90 acres. Remarkably, the Robert Mondavi winery still owns even larger portion of the To Kalon Vineyard, but certainly doesn’t exploit it to the extent that most purchasers of Beckstoffer To Kalon fruit do. This cuvée of 450 cases is closer to a Château Latour in a great vintage than you might believe, since it’s from Napa Valley. Notes of graphite, charcoal, blackcurrant liqueur and cedar wood are followed by a muscular, full-bodied wine with fabulous purity, a skyscraper-like texture and a long, long finish, with moderately sweet, ripe tannin. Give it several years of cellaring and drink it over the following three decades, as it is a fabulous effort. 97+ (RP)" (12/2016)

2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98WE, 96RP, 95ST, 94WS). Wine Enthusiast: "The 2006 flagship Cabernet from Quilceda Creek is a massive wine that has just begun to emerge from its slumber. When first released the wine seemed to have entered a dumb phase, but six months later it responds to decanting and shows its muscle. Fruit flavors of black, brandied cherries, cassis and bourbon-soaked plums are wrapped in generous, layered oak. The wine is dusty, smoky, laced with streaks of licorice and brightened with sharp acids. It continues to expand further in the glass, adding flesh and spice to its frame, with a cedar/cigar box finish. *Cellar Selection* (PG)" (03/2010)

1995 Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Pauillac
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Pauillac (95RP, 93WS, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Unbelievably rich, multidimensional, broad-shouldered wine, with slightly more elegance and less weight than the powerhouse 1996, this gorgeously proportioned, medium to full-bodied, fabulously ripe, rich, cassis-scented and flavored Grand-Puy-Lacoste is another beauty. It should be drinkable within 4-5 years, and keep for 25-30. This classic Pauillac is a worthy rival to the other-worldly 1996. Anticipated maturity: 2002-2025. (RP)" (02/1998)

2007 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the perfect wines from Shafer is the 2007 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select. Think it over – in the first decade of the 21st century, Shafer scored three perfect scores and two 99s – that’s about as high a praise as I can give any producer in the world. Opaque purple in color, the 2007 has a stunning nose of sweet crème de cassis, black cherries, licorice, and toasty oak, a multilayered, full-throttle personality, and a texture that builds and builds. Great purity, fabulous fruit intensity and a richness without heaviness characterize this massive, prodigious effort from Shafer. It’s still very young, despite this vintage, which seems to be maturing precociously. I don’t believe this wine will hit its stride for at least another 5-10 years and drink well for at least 2-3 decades. (RP) " (12/2014)

2005 Péby Faugères, St-Emilion
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Péby Faugères, St-Emilion (100RP, 94WS, 93JS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A perfect wine in this vintage, the 2005 Péby Faugères has the classic liqueur of blueberries and spring flowers. Dense purple and full-bodied, with unbelievable richness, this tastes like a great Napa Cab from the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, even though there’s no Cabernet Sauvignon in it. This is a sensational wine – rich, full and multi-dimensional, with a skyscraper-like mid-palate and finish. Kudos to Péby Faugères for producing one of the perfect wines of the vintage. Drink it in about 3-4 years as well as over the following two decades." (06/2015)

A seductive style that balances ripe, concentrated currant, cherry, fresh earth, mineral and sage notes with toasty, cedary oak. Ends with a powerful yet elegant finish that keeps pumping out the flavors. Fine-grained tannins bode well for the future. *Top 100 of 2008* (JL)" (10/2008)

1992 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 1992 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An attractive dark plum/purple color is followed by sweet aromas of creme de cassis, spring flowers and a touch of background oak. This opulent, full-bodied, sexy, full-throttle Insignia is drinking beautifully. As the wine sits in the glass, mature aromas of black tea and charcuterie begin to emerge. 2010 "Herold White Label" by Mark Herold Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2010 "Herold White Label" by Mark Herold Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 95VN, 94WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In most vintages there are less than 200 cases of the top cuvee, the Cabernet Sauvignon Herold by Mark Herold. The 2010 is another 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, in this case from both the Coombsville and Oakville AVAs. A massive Cabernet, it offers plenty of blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit intertwined with hints of incense, charcoal, graphite and toasty oak. This full-bodied effort is very much in the style of the Merus Cabernet Sauvignons that first launched Mark Herold’s career as a winemaker. This big, balls-to-the-walls style of Cabernet is not for everybody, but it exhibits exceptional purity, richness and length. It should drink well for two decades or more. (RP)" (10/2013)

Wine Enthusiast: "If one of 2004’s enduring characteristics is its freshness, then Margaux epitomizes this. It is so deliciously fresh and floating, with great black currant and blueberry fruits, pointed up by spice, mint and a sense of elegance and poise. There’s no doubt about its aging potential either: just feel that heart of firm tannins. (RV)" (06/2007)

Very aromatic, inviting nose of redcurrant, leather and tobacco. Intensely flavored and gripping, with a slightly raisiny singed plum character but also solid framing acidity that gives the wine a juicy quality. Quite fat and full. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Fully mature, yet still beautiful, the 1984 Monte Bello offers classic mature Bordeaux notes of currants, truffles, underbrush and cured meats to go with a medium to full-bodied, elegant, silky and completely integrated feel on the palate. It's a beautiful, layered and classy wine to drink on a special occasion over the coming 5-10 years. (JD)" (09/2015)

1982 Branaire-Ducru, St-Julien
Bid on this bottle of 1982 Branaire-Ducru, St-Julien (95VN, 93RP). Vinous: "Bright, amber-tinged red. Knockout aromas of ripe red cherry, cassis, milk chocolate and sweet spices. Rich and dense, with fleshy, fully ripe red and black fruit flavors that linger impressively. Big, ripe, sweet, creamy wine; almost opulent, but without any undue weight or overripe aromas or flavors. This has always been one of my favorite Branaire-Ducrus: really great stuff! 1975 Montrose, St-Estèphe
Bid on this bottle of 1975 Montrose, St-Estèphe (93DC). Decanter: "One of the better vintages of the 1970s, from an estate that was recognised to have been particularly successful right from the harvest and was spared the hail that affected some Médoc properties. Today, the nose is dominated by wonderful burnished tobacco, leather and truffle that are such classic markers of older Bordeaux. This is an older wine in its tertiary phase, no question, but it is soft and embracing rather than tired - it gives a shrug and invites you in. The aromatics are less clear than in its youth, but they are still warm, with rich wild strawberries and sweet blackberries burnished with the smoky embers of yesterday's fireplace.
