Bid on this 3-bottle lot of Ramos Pinto "Quinta do Bom Retiro" 20 Year Old Tawny Port (94W&S, 92RP, 92WE). Wine & Spirits: "This glossy wine sustains a delicate freshness in its floral fruit. That bright note of tart strawberries and jasmine holds to springtime, while the figgier richness and detailed tannins provide a structure that feels warm and autumnal. It’s a delicious contrast, the elements finely interwoven, a satisfying tawny to extend a holiday meal." (12/2014)

2000 Fonseca Vintage Port
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Fonseca Vintage Port (96RP, 95ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2000 Fonseca continues to exude finesse and focus on the nose, with pure blackberry, juniper berries, licorice and a touch of sloes, perhaps as Adrian Bridge remarked, just beginning to close after ten years in bottle. The palate is underpinned by very fine tannins, a sensual, svelte texture with wonderful acidity. The harmony and symmetry is alluring, the finish precise and demonstrating the persistency to suggest a long future ahead. Drink 2020-2060. (NM)" (02/2013)

2003 Fonseca Vintage Port
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Fonseca Vintage Port (97ST, 97WE, 96WS, 95W&S, 94RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Saturated deep ruby. Brooding, reticent nose of cassis and kirsch; there's nothing cooked about this one! Then massive, sweet and superrich in the mouth; explodes with exotic ripeness. Intriguing note of graphite. This coats every nook and cranny of the palate and clings and builds on the back end in a way that no other wine of this vintage can match. Huge, sexy and wonderfully lush Fonseca, built for the long haul. As impressive as the best 2000s, and, along with the Quinta do Noval Nacional, is an early candidate for port of the 2003 vintage. 1992 Taylor Vintage Port
Bid on this bottle of 1992 Taylor Vintage Port (100RP, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Taylor's 1992 Vintage Port is unquestionably the greatest young port I have ever tasted. It represents the essence of what vintage port can achieve. The color is an opaque black/purple, and the nose offers up fabulously intense aromas of minerals, cassis, blackberries, licorice, and spices, as well as extraordinary purity and penetration. Yet this is still an unformed and infantile wine. If Chateau Latour made a late-harvest Cabernet Sauvignon, I suspect it might smell like this. In the mouth, the wine is out of this world, displaying layer upon layer of concentrated black fruits backed by well-integrated tannin and structure. This is a massive, magnificently rich, full-bodied port that will be far more flattering in its youth than were such Taylors as the 1983, 1977, or 1970. It possesses awesome fruit, marvelous intensity, and lavish opulence, all brilliantly well-delineated by the wine's f

1970 Graham's Vintage Port
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1970 Graham's Vintage Port (94WS, 93RP). Wine Spectator: "This is an extremely full-bodied, powerful wine, but it still retains a classy balance. Deep ruby, with chocolate and berry aromas, full-bodied, with anise and dried cherry flavors, full, hard tannins and a long finish. Good now but a few more yearsof bottle age would improve it. 2000 Taylor Vintage Port
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Taylor Vintage Port (98RP, 96WE, 95ST, 95WS, 94JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Among the most saturated blue/purple/black-colored examples of the vintage, Taylor's 2000 tastes like a young vintage of Chateau Latour on steroids. Aromas of graphite, blackberry liqueur, creme de cassis and smoke jump from the glass. Spectacularly concentrated and enormously endowed, with sweetness allied to ripe tannin, decent acidity, and layer upon layer of fruit and extract, this is the leading candidate for the port of the vintage. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2040. (RP)" (10/2002)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Graham's Vintage Port (96W&S, 96WE, 95RP, 95ST, 94WS). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a great Port, from a great brand. It is packed with solid, structured, rich and intense black fruit flavors. Its tannins show considerable aging potential. It is a big, ripe wine, balanced by a long, lingering dark aftertaste. *Best of 2005* (RV)" (11/2005)

What makes this wine extra special is the seductive texture—somewhere between creamy and syrupy—and ample length. (JC)" (02/2007)

Bid on this magnum of 1994 Fonseca Vintage Port (1.5 L) (100WS, 97RP). Wine Spectator: "*Wine of the Year for 1997* Hold on to your hat. This is the best Fonseca since 1977, and it's probably even better than that classic vintage--more like the breathtaking 1948. Mind-blowing, with masses of color, aroma and fruit flavor. Smells like fermenting berries, boasting loads of crushed grape, violet and berry character. Big, full-bodied and very sweet, with tons of tannins and a sweet finish. Tannic and huge, it's a long-term, great Port. Best after 2012." (04/1997)

Evolves to tar and asphalt. Really held back, yet powerful grip slaps you. This is mind-blowing in texture. The greatest Dow ever made. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Niepoort Vintage Port (96W&S, 95JS, 95WE, 95WS, 90ST). Wine & Spirits: "The 2003 vintage is best known for its heat. What makes Niepoort's '03 remarkable is its freshness-the vibrancy of color; the finesse underlying the black extract; how the explosive fruit remains firm and fat; how the tannins give a pure mineral flavor without feeling hard. It's one of the top wines of 2003: seamless, perfectly structured, built for the ages. Wines of this quality from Niepoort can readily live 50 to 75 years." (04/2006)

2007 Quinta do Noval Vintage Port
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Quinta do Noval Vintage Port (97JG, 95W&S, 94RP, 93WS). John Gilman: "The 2007 Quinta do Noval is one of the most powerful and pure examples of this wine that I have ever had the pleasure to taste. There will be no Nacional bottling this year, as the entire production of Nacional has gone into the vintage bottling of Noval. The bouquet on the 2007 Quinta do Noval is magical, with its bottomless depth and glorious purity combining to offer up a magical mélange of black cherries, dark plums, black raspberries, a touch of tar, bitter chocolate, a great base of soil, fennel seed and cedary wood. This really smells of young Nacional this year. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and beautifully balanced, with a rock solid core, stunning purity, firm, substantial tannins, stunningly tangy acids and profound length and grip on the endless finish. It is a good thing that Quinta do Noval did not make a Nacional in 2007, as it would probably have to be sc
