Raised in roughly 20% new demi-muids and foudre, this is a heavenly Syrah that couldn't get any better. Give it 2-4 years in the cellar and enjoy bottles through 2030. (JD)" (06/2015)

Jeb Dunnuck: "A total blockbuster, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley from Leonetti sports an inky color to go with sensational notes of smoked black fruits, scorched earth, licorice, truffle and hints of asphalt. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 K Vintners "The Hustler" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97WE). Wine Enthusiast: "As with previous vintages, this rare wine spent 38 months in barrel. Smooth and supple, it’s a lush expression of purple and black fruits, generously endowed with darker flavors of smoke, tar, soy and licorice. There is a compelling, yet subtle, umami character overriding all else. It’s drinking quite beautifully now, but could age considerably longer. *Editors' Choice* (PG)" (02/2014)

2010 K Vintners "Morrison Lane" Walla Walla Valley Syrah
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 K Vintners "Morrison Lane" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Syrah Morrison Lane (100% Syrah) comes from some of the oldest Syrah vines in Walla Walla. Aged in 30% new French oak, it’s a beauty with notions of black raspberry, kirsch, pepper, big minerality and hints of leather all soaring from the glass. This is followed by a classy, yet structured Syrah that has high quality tannin and rock star length on the finish. As with all of Charles’ wines, it can be enjoyed in its youth due to the texture and overall balance, yet it won’t hit its stride until a handful of years after the vintage. It should age gracefully for 10-12 years, easily. Drink now-2025. (JD)" (06/2013)

Lively, fresh and elegant, with perfumed blackberry, violets, bacon fat and hints of pepper, this beauty flows onto the palate with a medium to full-bodied, seamless profile that’s hard to resist. Wine Enthusiast: "*Cellar Selection* The Cabernet comes from 40-year-old vines at Champoux and Sagemoor, with small amounts of Petit Verdot and Syrah in the blend. Black cherry, cassis, iron and graphite combine in a sturdy, authoritative, powerful midpalate. Licorice and espresso flavors streak through the lengthy finish. This is quite tight and compact, and will require decanting if drunk young, and lengthy cellaring-20 years or longer-to reach its full potential." (12/2014)

2009 Woodward Canyon "Old Vines" Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Woodward Canyon "Old Vines" Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Woodward Canyon’s 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Vines Reserve – 60% from Champoux Vineyard; 33% from Sagemoor; incorporating 7% Petit Verdot from their Walla Walla estate; and comprising what for this bottling is an unusually generous 665 cases – reached a heady 16.7% alcohol, which exposes itself in finishing heat. Mint chocolate, dried cherry, and cooked mulberry are accented by juniper berry on a broad, weighty palate. Fermentable sugars were higher than sheer brix would have led one to expect in 2009, notes Mott by way of partially explaining the high alcohol in this vintage, and in addition he favors the aromas developed in a closed-top fermentation tank, which means less alcohol can be blown-off in the process of fermentation itself. I would monitor this closely if planning to cellar any. (DS)" (12/2012)

2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 2200 cases of the 2006 Red Wine, a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, and the balance Petit Verdot and Malbec. While not at the quality level of the top wines, it is a fine introduction to the house style at a very fair price. Dark ruby-colored, it displays a bouquet of cigar box, pencil lead, violets, black currant, and a hint of licorice. Medium to full-bodied, intensely fruited, and with enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years, this lengthy effort will drink well from 2011 to 2018. (JM)" (10/2009)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Cayuse "Bionic Frog" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (99RP, 96WE, 95VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "While a lot of the 2012s came in near the bottom of the barrel score, that wasn't the case with the 2012 Syrah Bionic Frog and this beauty flirts with perfection. Inky colored and purple to the rim, it offers extraordinary notes of black fruits, wild mushrooms, smoked earth and salty minerality. These all flow to a full-bodied, thrillingly concentrated, focused, structured and lengthy 2012 that needs 4-5 years of cellaring, and will knock your socks off over the following 15 years or more. 2009 Corliss Columbia Valley Syrah
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Corliss Columbia Valley Syrah (96RP, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "For this report, the 2009 Syrah is the youngest release and it’s certainly worth waiting for. A co-fermented blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier that spent 30 months in 55% new French oak, it offers up a thrilling array of blackberry and black currant fruit, incense, spice box, chocolate and roasted meats on the nose. Already complex and getting a big “Wow” in my notes, it has decadent richness, yet never seems heavy or cumbersome. Similarly styled on the palate, with a full-bodied, voluptuous texture, superb mid-palate depth and masses of tannin on the finish, it will benefit from another 2-3 years in the cellar and have 10-15 years or more of ultimate longevity. This fabulous 2013 offers beautiful notes of ground pepper, lavender, olive and smoked dark fruits. Its almost opaque purple color is followed by a complex, layered bouquet that includes ample black and blue fruits, ground pepper, lavender, olive and hints of bacon fat. Giving up lots of minerality in its smoky black fruits, licorice, ground pepper and assorted meatiness, this puppy hits the palate with full-bodied richness, an elegant, seamless texture and awesome length on the finish. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Shockingly good, the 2011 Syrah Lagniappe is gorgeous, and certainly, one of the wines of the vintage. Giving up ample smoked meats, red and black currants, spice box, hints of cedar and ground pepper this medium to full-bodied, beautifully concentrated effort fleshes out nicely on the palate, has ripe tannin and knockout length. Drink it anytime over the coming 10 to 12 years. Master Sommelier turned winemaker, Greg Harrington is fashioning some of the top wines in Washington from his base in Walla Walla. His 2011s showed beautifully from barrel last year, and didn’t disappoint this year from bottle. His 2012s will be even better. (JD)" (06/2014)

2012 K Vintners "Rock Garden" Walla Walla Valley Syrah
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 K Vintners "Rock Garden" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (94RP, 92WE, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another classic Walla Walla Syrah, the 2012 Syrah River Rock Vineyard comes from the southern end of the Walla Walla Valley and the region known as "The Rocks." Giving up lots of damp earth, underbrush, pepper, iron and tobacco leaf, it's full-bodied, loaded with fruit and texture, and has good tannin that come through on the finish. These hedonistic beauties from this terroir always drink nicely in their youth, yet they surprise in the cellar as well and have lengthy drink window. In this case, I suspect this will be better in a year, and have 10-12 years or more of total longevity. (JD)" (06/2015)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 In Order To Form A More Perfect Union checks in as a blend of 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Giving up plenty of cedar, spice box, spring flowers and black currant styled aromas and flavors, this medium to full-bodied, layered and seamless effort has juicy acidity, excellent concentration (especially in the vintage) and superb underlying structure. 2009 Rasa '' In Order to Form a More Perfect Union'' Columbia Valley Proprietory Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Rasa '' In Order to Form a More Perfect Union'' Columbia Valley Proprietory Blend (96JD, 94WE, 92VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The first vintage for this wine and a blend of 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, and 23% Cabernet Franc that was aged in 60% new French oak, the 2009 Rasa Vineyards In Order to Form a More Perfect Union delivers spectacular aromatics, a seamless, full-bodied texture, and blockbuster length on the finish. Showing notes of crème de cassis, tobacco, charred toast, sweet oak, and spice cabinet on the nose, this stays gorgeously light, elegant, and fresh on the palate, while at the same time showing fantastic intensity, a concentrated mid-palate, and ripe tannin that emerges with more time in the glass. This is impressive any way you slice it, and while it is no doubt a spectacular drink now, it deserves 4-5 years of bottle age, and should keep for upwards of two decades." (06/2012)

2008 Rasa "Principia" Walla Walla Reserve Syrah
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Rasa "Principia" Walla Walla Reserve Syrah (94JD, 94WE, 92WS, 91VN). Wine Enthusiast: "100% varietal, this is a strict barrel selection from key vineyards – Les Collines, Seven Hills, Lewis and Portteus. It is tight, dense, deeply detailed, and built for long term aging. Right now it's showing a fair amount of herb and forest floor, but the structure is so perfect that it doesn't matter. *Cellar Selection* (PG)" (09/2011)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Rasa '' In Order to Form a More Perfect Union'' Columbia Valley Proprietory Blend (94RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A step up, the 2010 In Order to Form a More Perfect Union is a decadent blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc that was aged in 60% new French oak. Offering up a hedonistically bent bouquet of black currant, smoked herbs, espresso, black olive and lead pencil shavings, it bursts onto the palate with a full-bodied, thick and voluptuous texture that partially conceals sound back-end concentration and structure. Give it 2-4 years and enjoy over the following decade or longer. Drink now-2025. (JD)" (06/2013)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Leonetti Walla Walla Valley Sangiovese (93RP, 92VN, 91WE, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The best example of this variety I tasted in just about every vintage, the 2013 Walla Walla Sangiovese offers real density and depth of fruit, as well as lots of black cherry, cedary spice, chocolate and leafy, herb-like aromas and flavors. Aged 22 months in once used French oak barrels, it has a seamless, if not voluptuous texture, no hard edges and a great finish. Drink it over the coming 8-10 years. (JD)" (06/2016)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "My favorite of the Syrah releases, the 2011 Syrah Principia Reserve offers up a dark, decadent style, with plenty of pepper, underbrush, truffle and assorted black fruits emerging from the glass. Showing the firmer feel and juicy acidity that’s present in all of these 2011s, this solid Syrah will benefit from short-term cellaring and have 10 to 12 years of overall longevity. (JD)" (06/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Reynvaan "Foothills Reserve" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97RP, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "nother Cote Rotie look alike, the 2012 Syrah Foothills Reserve comes all from the Foothills in the Sun vineyard (which is planted around the estate) and is an incredible Syrah that is up with the top efforts from this great vintage. Pure, full-bodied, utterly seamless and with sweet tannin, it offers a kaleidoscope of black raspberry, olive, mint, game and peppery herbs aromas and flavors. Youthful, fresh and lively, it already offers tons of pleasure, but should evolve gracefully for 15 years or more. (JD)" (06/2015)

2009 Rasa "Principia" Walla Walla Reserve Syrah
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Rasa "Principia" Walla Walla Reserve Syrah (94JD, 93VN, 92WE, 92WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The estate’s top Syrah and sourced from a number of top vineyards, the 2009 Rasa Vineyards Syrah Principia Reserve, aged mostly in neutral French oak, is pure and decadently fruited, with brilliant aromas of crème de cassis, smoked blackberry, truffle, sweet oak, and creamy licorice on the nose. These qualities carry over to the palate where the wine is full-bodied and powerful, with a concentrated mid-palate, a rich, full texture, and ripe, polished tannin that frames the finish. Overall, blockbuster stuff that is already complex and approachable. Nevertheless, it should ideally be given 2-3 years of bottle age, and then consumed over the following decade or longer." Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Rôtie Cellars "Southern Blend" Washington Rhône Blend (92RP, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Coming from the sandy soils of the southern slopes of Horse Heaven Hills, the 2010 Southern Blend is a blend of 75% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre aged in used French oak barrels. Deep ruby in color and almost opaque, it displays superb Grenache flair with loads of kirsch, licorice, white and black pepper, exotic spices and floral qualities that give way to a medium-bodied, fresh, focused palate. Very lively, energetic and elegant, with integrated acidity, solid concentration and ripe tannin, this knockout southern Rhone blend can be enjoyed now, or cellared for 5-7 years. Pure silk on the palate, with a medium-bodied, seamless texture, juicy acidity, sweet fruit and fine tannin on the finish, this perfectly proportioned 2010 should be given 2-3 years of bottle age and then consumed over the following decade. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Rotie Cellars "Northern Blend" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Stepping things up a notch in concentration and richness, yet still holding onto the polish and elegance shown by all of Sean’s wines, the 2010 Northern Blend is a co-fermented blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier that was aged mostly in neutral barrel before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Deep ruby/purple, it is deep and dense aromatically, with smoky black fruits, bacon fat, dark chocolate, wild herbs and crushed rock-like minerality all emerging from the glass. Medium to full-bodied on the palate and simply impeccably put together, with a concentrated, rich palate weight that’s carried by a seamless texture and a lively, energetic feel, this thrilling, age-worthy Syrah should be given 3-4 years in the cellar and then consumed over the following 10-12 years. A blend of 70% Mourvedre, 20% Cinsault and 10% Grenache, it displays a bright, lifted array of bramble-laced black and blue fruits, leather, sappy underbrush, peppered meats and licorice on the nose. Up-front and gorgeously fruited on the palate, it has loads of texture, yet manages to stay fresh and elegant, with juicy acidity, very fine, silky tannin and a brilliant finish that certainly doesn’t lack for length.
