2014 Cayuse "The Widowmaker" Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC)
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Cayuse "The Widowmaker" Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - (96-98RP)) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I loved the 2014 Widowmaker, which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in puncheon. It’s always a full-bodied, opaque, structured wine and it’s no exception in this vintage. Notes of crème de cassis, graphite and lead pencil all emerge from this pure, tannic, layered beauty that will need 4-5 years of cellaring. (JD)" (06/2016)

Of the 2003 Quilceda Creek Washington Cabernet Sauvignon ,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Another wine I’ve had multiple times recently, the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon (97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Merlot) is pure perfection in a glass and yields off-the-hook aromatics of cassis, black raspberries, tobacco leaf, pepper and licorice. Deep, layered and even elegant, with a seamless texture that conceals the sheer wealth of material present, it builds through the mid-palate, possesses huge amounts of extract and masses of polished tannin on the finish. Despite the overall size, it never loses its Cabernet Sauvignon so

2010 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle of 2010 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Rich, backwards, structured and massively concentrated, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon comes mostly from the Champoux Vineyard (also from Galitzine, Klipsun, Palengat and Tapteil) and is comprised of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot that spent 22 months in all new French oak. Offering up plenty of creme de cassis, coffee bean, toasted spice, pencil shavings and violet-like qualities on the nose, it has palate staining levels of extract and tannin that come through on the mid-palate and finish. 2014 Cayuse "Bionic Frog" Walla Walla Valley Syrah
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Cayuse "Bionic Frog" Walla Walla Valley Syrah. Praise for the producer from Stephen Tanzer: "Washington Syrah fans who haven’t tasted Christophe Baron’s Cayuse wines in a while may have memories of some wild, high-octane bottles from the early 2000s. Today’s wines are as lush and complex as ever yet rarely hit 14% alcohol, giving them better balance and flavor definition than ever before. Baron credits his biodynamic farming methods with allowing him to produce fruit with better phenolic ripeness at lower levels of potential alcohol." (07/2016) Wine Advocate on the 2014 vintage: "The 2014s also lean towards the more elegant, streamlined end of the spectrum, yet have another layer of texture and richness. They're a step up over the 2013s." (JD, 06/2016)

2010 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97RP, 97WE, 95ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Christophe’s Armada Vineyard Syrah has slowly become one of my favorite releases and the 2010 Syrah Armada Vineyard does nothing to dampen my growing enthusiasm for the vineyard. From a high-density planting in 2001 that lies just behind the winemaking facility (or 'studio' if you’re talking with Christophe), it offers up a brilliant bouquet of sweet kirsch and plum liqueur intermixed with notions of bacon fat, wild herbs, ground pepper and liquid rock. Evolving beautifully with air and incredibly complex aromatically, it is full-bodied, voluptuously textured and delivers serious levels of fruit and richness without ever seeming the least bit heavy or cumbersome. Count me a fan and this knockout Syrah will stand toe-to-toe with the best in the world. Give bottles another 2-3 years of bottle age and enjoy over the following 12-15 years. 97+ points.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The medium ruby colored 2013 Grenache Sur Echalas Vineyard offers lots of savoriness in its red and black fruits, herbes de Provence, cured meats, and dried violet aromas and flavors. Concentrated, medium to full-bodied and layered, with rock star length, it should be at its best from 2019-2029. 95+ (JD)" (06/2016)

Of the 2013 No Girls "La Paciencia Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Grenache,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Leading off the 2013s from bottle, the 2013 Grenache la Paciencia Vineyard is getting up there with some of the top Grenache releases to come out of the New World. Incredibly perfumed, with notes of herbes de Provence, flowers, dried strawberries and assorted red fruits, it’s medium to full-bodied, seamless and impeccably balanced. The buzz words here are perfume, complexity and elegance. It’s also worth noting that the Grenache vines for this wine come from the famed Rayas lie

Wine Enthusiast: " *Best of 2012, Editors' Choice* The flagship wine from Quilceda Creek offers exotic scents of plum, cassis, loam, coffee and pine sap, a rich and evocative blend. 2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98WE, 96RP, 95ST, 94WS). Wine Enthusiast: "*** Cellar Selection ***The 2006 flagship Cabernet from Quilceda Creek is a massive wine that has just begun to emerge from its slumber. When first released the wine seemed to have entered a dumb phase, but six months later it responds to decanting and shows its muscle. Fruit flavors of black, brandied cherries, cassis and bourbon-soaked plums are wrapped in generous, layered oak. The wine is dusty, smoky, laced with streaks of licorice and brightened with sharp acids. It continues to expand further in the glass, adding flesh and spice to its frame, with a cedar/cigar box finish. (PG)" (03/2010)

2013 Horsepower "Sur Echalas Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Horsepower "Sur Echalas Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Up with the top three or four Syrahs in the vintage, the 2013 Syrah Sur Echalas Vineyard, which was bottled in August of last year, offers a complex, savory, mineral-laced style to go with a complex bouquet of ground herbs, pepper, beef blood, dried flower and cured meats. This is a full-bodied Syrah that has considerable mid-palate density, fine tannin and good overall freshness (although I'm sure the pH is 4 or higher). Like the 2012, it needs 2-3 years of bottle age and will drink well for 15 years or more. (JD)" (06/2015)

Of the 2006 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The deepest colored of the lineup, as well as the most powerful and concentrated, the 2006 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard is Hermitage-like with its dark, meaty core of fruit, iodine, chocolate and mineral-laced aromas and flavors. Not harvested until mid-October and aged in 15% new French oak barrels, this full-bodied, decadent and concentrated Syrah has another handful of years before hitting full-maturity, and will have 25+ years of ultimate longevity. 2007 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 96WE, 95ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A monumental wine in the making, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of those wines that presents such an over the top array of aromas and flavors that it’s hard to figure out what you think about it with just a quick glance. It’s only with the second or third sip that you really start to see how special this effort truly is. Offering up perfumed, intense aromas of plum, violets, ink, licorice and black currants, it flows onto the palate with a massive, incredibly full-bodied texture that builds through the mid-palate and carries layers of polished tannins, awesome purity of fruit and blockbuster length. Most likely not for everyone given the sheer size, it is an incredible wine in my opinion. Still tasting like a barrel sample, it will have 30+ total years of longevity. Drink 2017-2037. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Horsepower "The Tribe Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97RP, 96WE, 95WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More gamy, bloody and meaty than the Sur Echalas Vineyard Syrah, the 2012 Syrah The Tribe Vineyard is a full-bodied, elegant, concentrated and structured effort that gives up complex notes of savory dark fruits, beef blood, dried herbs, pepper and olives. It's another incredible Syrah that needs short-term cellaring, but will have two decades of evolution. (JD)" (06/2015)

Of the 2014 Cayuse "En Chamberlin" Walla Walla Valley Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Always the most exotic in the lineup, the meaty, iron, black olive and floral-scented 2014 Syrah en Chamberlin Vineyard has a big core of ripe tannin and sweet fruit in its full-bodied, exuberant style. Given the polish to its tannin, it should drink nicely in its youth, but I suspect it will be at its best from 2020-2034. (JD)" (06/2016)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Leonetti "Reserve" Walla Walla Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 97WE, 95ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Reserve is made up of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot, and 17% Merlot. It was aged in new French barriques and a large oval botti for 22 months. Deep purple-colored, the wine presents aromas of pain grille, pencil lead, scorched earth, black currant, plum, and blackberry liqueur. The wine makes a powerful entry onto the palate with great concentration, serious depth, and opulence. The flavors reveal spicy, savory black fruits with a note of chocolate in the background. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Just ever so slightly richer and more textured than the Sur Echalas Vineyard, the 2013 Syrah The Tribe Vineyard is a blockbuster effort that is up there with the crème de la crème of the vintage. Concentrated, full-bodied, sexy and layered on the palate, it has to-die-for notes of black cherries, currants, olives, steak tartare and Hermitage-like scorched earth characteristics. Of the 2010 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Coming from a cold, late vintage where the Syrah didn’t ripen until the first part of October, the 2010 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard showed spectacularly in the retrospective. Inky purple in color, it gives up classic floral qualities intermixed with ample olive tapenade, black raspberry, lavender, orange blossom and pepper on the nose. This gives way to a full-bodied, sexy, seamless and yet always elegant Syrah that has juicy acidity and ripe tannin kicking in on the finish. The fruit was sourced from the Figgins Estate Vineyard which is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Merlot. The wine was aged in 70% new French oak for 22 months before bottling without fining or filtration...Sandalwood, exotic spices, sage, cherry blossom, cassis, and blackberry aromas inform the nose of a dense, rich, elegant, beautifully proportioned wine that has enough ripe, fine-grained tannin to blossom for another 4-5 years. Showing the perfume and headiness of the vintage, it nevertheless stays vibrant and lively on the palate while delivering layers of fruit and texture. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Leonetti "Reserve" Walla Walla Valley Bordeaux Blend (95WE, 93ST, 93W&S, 93WS, 91RP). Wine Enthusiast: "If any wine can elevate Leonetti’s stunning Cabernet to yet another level, it is this astonishing blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot and 17% Petit Verdot, all from estate vineyards. Sweet plum, blueberry and blackberry fruits are seamlessly married to layers of different flavored chocolates. Silky and supple, it uses oak as a sensual enhancement, but the wood flavors of mocha, nuts, butter and toast are so beautifully smoothed into the fruit that they are never intrusive. 2012 No Girls "La Paciencia Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Tempranillo
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 No Girls "La Paciencia Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Tempranillo (OCB - 96RP, 95WE, 93VN, 92WS) in original cardboard. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A new cuvee that I absolutely loved from barrel last year, the 2012 Tempranillo La Paciencia Vineyard is brilliantly done and gives up a crazy bouquet of blackberries, black cherries, bouquet garni, roasted meats and dried violets. Full-bodied, seamless and elegant, with silky tannin and fabulous precision and length, it’s slightly more approachable than Cayuse’s Impulsivo, yet should still benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and evolve for 10-15 years after that. 2010 K Vintners "The Hidden-Northridge Vineyard" Wahluke Slope Syrah
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 K Vintners "The Hidden-Northridge Vineyard" Wahluke Slope Syrah (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Moving back to the estate’s top Syrahs, the 2010 Syrah The Hidden Northridge Vineyard comes from the warmer, Wahluke slope AVA and was fermented with 50% whole cluster prior to aging in 100% new 500-Liter French oak puncheons. An incredible wine, it possesses off the hook aromas and flavors of meaty black fruits, cedar box, exotic spice and smoked herbs as well as a decadent, massively fruited, structured and full-bodied palate. Deep, rich and layered on the mid-palate and showing awesome length on the finish, this absolutely fabulous Syrah will be even better in another 2-3 years and have 15+ years of ultimate longevity.
