2006 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Galitzine Vineyard, located in the Red Mountain AVA, is 100% varietal. Dark ruby/purple in color, it delivers an enticing nose of pain grille, pencil lead, earth notes, spice box, violets, and assorted black fruits. On the palate it is dense, ripe, full-bodied, and structured. Still a bit tightly wound, it will reveal its full potential with another 5-7 years of cellaring. It will provide much pleasure from 2015 to 2026 at the least. (JM)" (10/2009)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Horsepower "Sur Echalas Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Grenache (OWC - 95RP, 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aged in puncheon and neutral oak and bottled in August of 2014, the 2013 Grenache Sur Echalas Vineyard sports a transparent ruby color to go with classic Grenache notes of wild strawberries, peppery herbs, licorice, hints of iron and good minerality that comes out more on the finish. Similar in style to the 2012, with a savory edge, this medium to full-bodied beauty has fine tannin, a supple, sexy texture and a great finish. It should hit prime time around age 4-6 and drink nicely through 2028. (JD)" (06/2015)

2007 Quilceda Creek "Palengat Vineyard" Horse Heaven Hills Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Quilceda Creek "Palengat Vineyard" Horse Heaven Hills Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 93ST, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Palengat Proprietary Red Wine is made up of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, with the balance Merlot and Petit Verdot. Deep purple in color, it delivers a captivating nose of olives, herbs, Asian spices, blackberry, and plum. Medium to full-bodied and elegant on the palate, it has outstanding volume and concentration, an opulent texture, and a suave personality. Already complex, it will continue to evolve with another 5-7 years of cellaring. Drink it from 2015 to 2027. Quilceda Creek remains Washington's benchmark for world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. The Golitzins were ecstatic about the fruit quality in 2007, a near-perfect vintage from their perspective. (JM)" (08/2010)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Horsepower "The Tribe Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (OWC - 97RP, 96WE, 95WS, 93VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More gamy, bloody and meaty than the Sur Echalas Vineyard Syrah, the 2012 Syrah The Tribe Vineyard is a full-bodied, elegant, concentrated and structured effort that gives up complex notes of savory dark fruits, beef blood, dried herbs, pepper and olives. It's another incredible Syrah that needs short-term cellaring, but will have two decades of evolution. (JD)" (06/2015)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Palengat Proprietary Red Wine is made up of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, with the balance Merlot and Petit Verdot. The fruit was sourced entirely from the Palengat Vineyard. Pain grille, pencil lead, Asian spices, incense, violets, dried herbs, black currant, and blackberry aromas compose the bouquet of this impeccably balanced offering. It opens in the glass to reveal plush, succulent flavors, superb concentration, plenty of ripe tannin... (JM)" (08/2011)

2010 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (OWC)
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (OWC - 97RP, 97WE, 95ST, 93WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Christophe’s Armada Vineyard Syrah has slowly become one of my favorite releases and the 2010 Syrah Armada Vineyard does nothing to dampen my growing enthusiasm for the vineyard. From a high-density planting in 2001 that lies just behind the winemaking facility (or 'studio' if you’re talking with Christophe), it offers up a brilliant bouquet of sweet kirsch and plum liqueur intermixed with notions of bacon fat, wild herbs, ground pepper and liquid rock. Evolving beautifully with air and incredibly complex aromatically, it is full-bodied, voluptuously textured and delivers serious levels of fruit and richness without ever seeming the least bit heavy or cumbersome. Count me a fan and this knockout Syrah will stand toe-to-toe with the best in the world. Give bottles another 2-3 years of bottle age and enjoy over the following 1

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Horsepower "Sur Echalas Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Grenache (OWC - 97RP, 95WE, 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Grenache Sur Echalas Vineyard is a sensational blend of 100% Grenache that comes all from a vineyard located just to the west of Cayuse’s Armada Vineyard. Planted to 4,840 vines per acre, it’s farmed completely by horse. Showing every bit as well from bottle as from barrel, it offers up layers of pepper, smoked herbs, gunpowder and black fruits to go with a deep, structured style on the palate. Incredibly concentrated, especially in the vintage, it has a gracefully, balanced feel before firming up substantially on the finish. Give this beauty 2-3 years of bottle age and enjoy over the following decade. Unfortunately, there are only 131 cases of it to go around, so if you get the opportunity to grab some bottles, don’t miss it. (JD)" (06/2014)

2007 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 96WE, 95ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A monumental wine in the making, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of those wines that presents such an over the top array of aromas and flavors that it’s hard to figure out what you think about it with just a quick glance. It’s only with the second or third sip that you really start to see how special this effort truly is. Offering up perfumed, intense aromas of plum, violets, ink, licorice and black currants, it flows onto the palate with a massive, incredibly full-bodied texture that builds through the mid-palate and carries layers of polished tannins, awesome purity of fruit and blockbuster length. Most likely not for everyone given the sheer size, it is an incredible wine in my opinion. Still tasting like a barrel sample, it will have 30+ total years of longevity. Drink 2017-2037. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (OWC - 97RP, 94WS, 93ST, 93WE) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " Even better, the 2011 Syrah Armada is probably my favorite of the 2011s. Deep, rich and layered, with phenomenal black plum, damp earth, pepper, mushroom, charcuterie and spice-driven aromas and flavors, this beauty tastes like the essence of this unique terroir. Full-bodied, rich and layered, it too should flesh out beautifully with short-term cellaring and have upwards of two decades of longevity. (JD)" (06/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Horsepower "Sur Echalas Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (OWC - 97RP, 96WE, 93VN, 92WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another wine I was able to taste multiple times, the 2012 Syrah Sur Echalas Vineyard is the most voluptuous, sexy and textured of the lineup. Giving up classic, Old World Syrah notes of blackcurrants, black olives, smoked meats, ground pepper and violets, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness and is gorgeous, concentrated and expansiveness on the palate, with plenty of of mid-palate depth and length. The tannin becomes more and more apparent with time in the glass. This needs 3-4 years to round into form, and will keep for 15-20 years. As with all of these 2012s, decant if drinking anytime soon. Of the 2007 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Red Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2007 Red Wine is composed of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, with the balance Cabernet Franc and Malbec. As always, it is a great value offering a fragrant, already complex nose of confiture of black fruits, incense, and Asian spices. On the palate it is savory and elegant with a plush texture. It is likely to evolve for several years but there is no compelling reason to defer gratification. Quilceda Creek remains Washington’s benchmark for world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. (JM)" (08/2010)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (OWC - 96RP, 95WE, 94VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another longer-term prospect is the 2012 Syrah Armada Vineyard. One of the more burly, structured releases from this estate, it's always poured after the Bionic Frog and is the last Syrah we taste in a vintage. The 2012 gives up lots of iodine, raw meats and floral notes that are balanced by a core of distinct black raspberry fruit, which in most vintages veers more toward the darker, more plummy side of the spectrum. Full-bodied, tight and yet nicely concentrated, with good tannin, it should be at its best from 2018-2028. (JD)" (06/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Horsepower "Sur Echalas Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (OWC - 97RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Up with the top three or four Syrahs in the vintage, the 2013 Syrah Sur Echalas Vineyard, which was bottled in August of last year, offers a complex, savory, mineral-laced style to go with a complex bouquet of ground herbs, pepper, beef blood, dried flower and cured meats. This is a full-bodied Syrah that has considerable mid-palate density, fine tannin and good overall freshness (although I'm sure the pH is 4 or higher). Like the 2012, it needs 2-3 years of bottle age and will drink well for 15 years or more. (JD)" (06/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Cayuse "Flying Pig" Walla Walla Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 97RP, 94VN, 92WE, 90WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 48% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Cabernet Franc, the 2012 Flying Pig is one of the Bordeaux blends of the vintage. Offering lots of cassis, graphite, chocolate, violet and floral notes, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness, fine-grained tannin and stunning length. Like the majority of Christoph's 2012s, it's structured, tight and backward, and needs short-term cellaring. (JD)" (06/2015)

Of the 2009 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon (98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Merlot) is a ripe, flamboyant and brilliantly proportioned effort that oozes kirsch, licorice, lead pencil shavings and dried spice on the nose. Showing the perfume and headiness of the vintage, it nevertheless stays vibrant and lively on the palate while delivering layers of fruit and texture. While formidably structured and tannic, it can be enjoyed now due to the overall tannin quality and purity of fruit. It will evolve and drink well for over two decades. (JD)" (06/2013)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Horsepower "The Tribe Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (OWC - 96RP, 95WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More straight and focused than the Sur Echalas Vineyard, the 2013 Syrah The Tribe Vineyard is slightly darker in color, with lots of gunpowder, blackberry, blueberry, smoked game and beef blood aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, yet elegant and silky, with a great finish, it's a gorgeously complex, balanced and complete Syrah that has lots of Rocks character, as well as 15 years of more of longevity. I have a slight preference for the Sur Echalas Vineyard Syrah, but these share lots of similarities and are both brilliant wines. (JD)" (06/2015)

Aromas of cedar, spice box, mineral, incense, black currant, and blackberry inform the nose of a ripe, savory, smooth-textured wine. In the glass it displays more minerality, excellent volume, and enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years. Enjoy this first-class effort now through 2020. (JM)" (08/2011)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and a splash of Syrah (10%) that was first made in 2010, the 2011 The Lovers has some solid Cayuse funk, with copious peat moss, herbs, mineral and violets balanced nicely by black-cherry-styled fruit. Medium to full-bodied, layered and nicely textured, it offers plenty of up-front appeal yet should also evolve gracefully. (JD)" (06/2014)
