2010 E. Guigal Hermitage
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 E. Guigal Hermitage (94WS, 92RP, 92VN). Wine Spectator: "This is well-packed, with alder, anise and black tea notes leading the way for a core of juicy blackberry, plum and raspberry fruit flavors. Delivers a steeped feel through the finish, with a long charcoal thread. This is quietly always one of the smartest buys in high-end Northern Rhône reds. Best from 2016 through 2025. " (09/2015)

2004 Château de Beaucastel "Hommage a Jacques Perrin" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Château de Beaucastel "Hommage a Jacques Perrin" Châteauneuf-du-Pape ((96-98ST), 96WS, 95RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Saturated ruby. Remarkably deep nose combines cherry, raspberry, licorice, smoked meat and mineral notes, all lifted by an intense floral quality. A stunning example of freshness and precision married to power, with deep cassis, bitter cherry and candied licorice flavors enlivened by zesty minerality and framed by firm but harmonious tannins. 'This is not about extraction,' notes Perrin. The endless finish echoes the mineral and floral tones, showing a persistent lavender note. This was not yet bottled when I tasted it. (JR)" (02/2007)

2007 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2007 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L) (96RP, 95WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Vieux Telegraphe may be the greatest wine made at this property since the 2005 and 1998. Dense ruby/purple-tinged with an exquisite nose of salty sea breezes, licorice, ground pepper, jammy black cherries, black currants, figs, and plums, this is a full-bodied, rich, Provencal-styled offering with lots of sweet, ripe tannin. It is surprisingly accessible for a Vieux Telegraphe (this wine normally shuts down several years after bottling), but it should have great longevity (25+ years) given its power, full-bodied mouthfeel, and enormous length and richness. This is a brilliant effort from brothers Frederic and Daniel Brunier. (RP)" (10/2009)

2004 Domaine Henri Bonneau "Réserve des Célestins" Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Domaine Henri Bonneau "Réserve des Célestins" Chateauneuf-du-Pape (96WS, 95RP, 94VN). Wine Spectator: "This starts perfumy, displaying lots of sandalwood, black tea and roasted chestnut notes, turning taut and iron-filled, with layers of black cherry, currant and braised fig fruit filling in the background. Licorice root, black tea and cedar round out the finish, which has tons of grip and cut, but also manages to stay elegant. No Réserve des Célestins in 2003. Drink now through 2027. (JM)" (10/2010)

2009 Château de Beaucastel "Hommage à Jacques Perrin" Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Château de Beaucastel "Hommage à Jacques Perrin" Chateauneuf-du-Pape (99RP, 97WS, 96ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Shockingly good, the 2009 Châteauneuf du Pape Hommage À Jacques Perrin offers an off-the-charts bouquet of Provençal herbs, truffle and wet-dog-like qualities intermixed with classic blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit. Massive and full-bodied on the palate, with a sheer density and decadence that’s hard to believe, this is a pedal-to-the-metal effort that has the fruit to drink beautifully today, yet the concentration, mid-palate, tannin and balance to age for 3-4 decades. Made from a blend of 60% Mourvedre, 20% Syrah and the rest Counoise and Grenache, this is one of the wines of the vintage. (JD)" (02/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Domaine de la Vieille Julienne "Reservé" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (99RP, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The same can be said about the 2006 Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve and it offers incredible cassis, toasted bread, bouquet garni and earth aromas and flavors to go with full-bodied richness, incredible concentration and a seamless, thrillingly pure texture that’s hard to believe. It’s easily the greatest wine I’ve tasted from this vintage. (JD)" (08/2014)

2010 Raymond Usseglio "Cuvée Impériale, Vignes Centenaires" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Raymond Usseglio "Cuvée Impériale, Vignes Centenaires" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (99RP, 94ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A candidate for perfection, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Imperiale Vignes Centenaire is clearly the greatest wine I have ever tasted from Raymond Usseglio, even eclipsing their remarkable 2007. Don’t be surprised if it merits a three-digit score in five or six years. Somewhat closed, but bursting with potential, the wine is inky/purple to the rim and boasts abundant amounts of concentrated, jammy blackberry, kirsch, licorice, lavender, forest floor, white chocolate and a hint of truffles in its magnificent perfume. Some tannins appear in the mouth, but there is no doubting the luxurious concentration, multidimensional mouthfeel, full-bodied texture, enormous extract and richness, and nearly endless finish. This monumental Chateauneuf du Pape needs to be forgotten for 4-5 years and consumed over the following 2-3 decades. T

2006 Auguste Clape Cornas
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Auguste Clape Cornas (94WS, 93JS, 93RP, 93ST). Wine Spectator: "Rock-solid, with a terrifically built core of black Mission fig, macerated currant and warm fig paste supported by iron-clad tannins. The background is filled with iron, tar and espresso, but this stays racy and pure, despite the dark profile. Just a step behind the 2005, with superb grip and density. Best from 2011 through 2021. Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2006 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (OWC - 93WS, 92RP, 92ST) in original wood. Wine Spectator: "A very grippy style, with lots of sweet tapenade, tobacco, hot stone and braised chestnut notes weaving through a core of dark currant and fig fruit. There's a nice twinge of lavender on the structured finish. For the cellar. Best from 2010 through 2028." (11/2008)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 E. Guigal "Château d'Ampuis" Côte-Rotie ((95-96RP), 95WS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine that will be in bottle by the time you read this, the 2012 Cote Rotie Chateau d’Ampuis (it always incorporates 7% Viognier) will check in behind the sensational 2009 and 2010, but should be on par with the 2005 and 2003. Cassis, licorice, smoked meats, graphite and peppery spice all emerge from this beautifully concentrated, full-bodied, seamless Cote Rotie that has building, ripe tannin, terrific purity and a blockbuster finish. It will have 20-25 years of longevity." (12/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (95WE, 94WS, 92ST, 91W&S, 90RP). Wine Enthusiast: " *Editors' Choice* One of the big names of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and this wine justifies the fame of the Perrin family’s property. It is a rich style, but, more importantly, it is beautifully made, structured, dense, with red jelly fruits, a touch of vanilla and a fat, full-bodied, but firm aftertaste. This is a wine for aging—give it at least five years before touching it. (RV)" (12/2005)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Domaine Henri Bonneau Chateauneuf-du-Pape ((93-95VN)). Vinous: "("this might be Marie Beurrier or it may be Celestins," said Bonneau) Ruby-red. Very ripe aromas of lush blackberry, boysenberry and dark chocolate, complicated by licorice and lavender. Round, ripe and supple, showing red and dark berry preserve notes along with subtle game, floral and herb qualities. Broad and sweet on the long, pliant finish. This has great depth and ripeness yet remains fresh. (JR)" (01/2007)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Thierry Allemand "Reynard" Cornas ((93-94VN)). Vinous: "Opaque purple. Spicy, highly perfumed aromas of cassis, blueberry, candied violet and smoky minerals. Densely packed, fresh and delineated, offering energetic flavors of black and blue fruits and floral pastilles. Shows a restrained sweetness on the finish, which features slow-building tannins and a strong echo of minerality. This wine was scheduled to be bottled about a week after I tasted it from its holding tank. (JR)" (03/2014)
