1985 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "La Chapelle" Hermitage
Bid on this bottle of 1985 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "La Chapelle" Hermitage (96JS, 95RP, 91WS). James Suckling: "Hints of amber to the brick-red center color. It shows lots of saffron, mushroom, forest floor, pastrami and other dried meats. Full body with incredible silky tannins and a depth of character and intensity. Red pepper and paprika. A stunning wine. So much decadence and complexity." (12/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2004 Domaine Jamet "Côte Brune" Côte-Rôtie (94WS, 90RP). Wine Spectator: "A different animal, this is open and inviting, with mouthwatering rosemary, olive and aged tobacco notes weaving through a core of damson plum and red currant fruit. Turns darker through the finish, with braised fig and roasted cèpe notes backed by impressive grip. Drink now through 2022. (JM, Web-2010)"

1978 Chateau Mont-Redon Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1978 Chateau Mont-Redon Châteauneuf-du-Pape (90WS). Wine Spectator: "This has a lovely brick-garnet color, with very mature notes of almond tuile, sandalwood, dried blood orange and dried cherry fruit, laced with lightly dusty tannins and followed by a long, mineral- and date-tinged finish. There's more length than depth in the end, with a faint drying note at the very end.--Non-blind Château Mont-Redon vertical (Web Only-2009)"

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Château Rayas Châteauneuf-du-Pape Réserve (93RP, 93WS, 92W&S, 90ST). Wine Spectator: "*Collectibles* Remarkable. Very light in color, like weathered bricks, but this medium-bodied red has all the sweetness you can wish for from a young wine, with ripe tannins and some plum and cherry confit providing succulent flavors; you won't leave a drop in the glass. Smooth, silky, ripe, balanced, long finish. (PM)" (12/2003)

2005 Henri Bonneau "Réserve des Célestins" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Henri Bonneau "Réserve des Célestins" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96RP, 96ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Surprisingly, the 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve des Celestins was much more open, rounded and sexy than the more austere, angular Marie Beurrier. This is a gorgeous, classic effort by Bonneau that's overflowing with notions of sweet Grenache fruit, Provencal garrigue, cured meats, beef blood and spice. The aromatics alone are worth the price of admission, and the palate doesn't lose a beat, with full-bodied richness, a full, layered, concentrated mid-palate and sweet tannin on the finish. Like the Marie Beurrier, the acidity here is elevated, yet in this case, it's beautifully woven into the wine. It offers serious pleasure now, yet will have no problems continuing to evolve nicely for another 15+ years. (JD)" (02/2015)

2010 Le Vieux Donjon Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Le Vieux Donjon Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96RP, 96WS, 94ST). Wine Spectator: " *Top 100 Wines of 2012* This takes a decidedly old-school approach with its very distinctive bay leaf and juniper notes leading the way, along with roasted mesquite and alder wood. The core of steeped black currant, roasted plum and blackberry fruit waits in reserve while the long, ganache- and tar-filled finish has nice rugged grip, with a peppery echo. Should cellar wonderfully. Best from 2015 through 2030. (JM)" (10/2012)

2007 Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2007 Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L) (100RP, 97WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the great vintages from this estate, surpassing even the 1990, 2000, 2001, 2003, and maybe the 2010 (time will tell with this one), the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape from Vincent Avril delivers everything you could want from a wine. Full-bodied, intense and beautifully concentrated, with plenty of muscle and depth, it shows the hallmark elegance and purity of the estate, with sensational notes of kirsch liqueur, raspberries, incense, smoked meats and Asian spices. The blend is the normal 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, 10% Syrah and the rest a mix of permitted varieties, brought up all in older foudre, and it's just now entering its prime drink window and has another two decades of longevity. Bid on this mangum lot of 2007 Domaine de la Mordorée "Reine des Bois" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L) (97RP, (93-96ST), 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Evolving beautifully, the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee de La Reine des Bois has shed some of its crazy tannin and is showing a more layered, voluptuous profile. Possessing beautiful kirsch, blackberry, candied licorice, flowers and lavender, it offers knockout richness and decadence to go with brilliant purity of fruit, superb concentration, and a full-bodied, layered mouthfeel. While I don’t think it matches the ’01 or ’10, it’s an incredible bottle of wine that can be consumed anytime over the coming 10-15 years. (JD)" (08/2014)

2010 Alain Voge "Vieilles Vignes" Cornas
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Alain Voge "Vieilles Vignes" Cornas (99RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cornas Vieilles Vignes has off-the-charts richness as well as an extraordinarily precise nose of blackberry and blueberry jam intermixed with cassis, charcoal, lead pencil shavings, pen ink and acacia flowers. A wine of exceptional intensity with a multidimensional mouthfeel and a 55-second finish, this quintessential Cornas should drink well for 20-30 years ...The three 2010 Cornas represent the pinnacle of Voge's winemaking. They are the finest wines I have yet tasted from this estate (and I've been tasting their wines since the late seventies)." (12/2012)

2010 Domaine de la Janasse Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine de la Janasse Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes (100RP, 96VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes, which achieved 16% natural alcohol, possesses an inky/purple color. It is slightly tighter and more restrained than the 2010 Chaupin, but it has enormous volume as well as incredible glycerin, richness and fat. A huge bouquet of pure blackberry and black currant fruit intermixed with charcoal, incense, truffles and spring flowers is followed by a prodigious, full-bodied wine that is capable of 20+ years of evolution. I hope Chateauneuf du Pape enthusiasts can find some of this amazing wine! (RP)" (10/2012)

Bid on this magnum lot of 2003 M. Chapoutier "Le Meal" Ermitage Blanc (1.5L) (98RP, 97WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Like the concentrated essence of bee’s honey with resiny, flower, and mineral notes, the 2003 Ermitage Le Meal blanc is a huge, full-bodied, even tannic effort with amazing viscosity and thickness. This is a wine to drink young, or forget for two decades. To Chapoutier’s credit, he is making these wines for posterity, not for immediate gratification. 98+ (RP)" (02/2006)

2009 Xavier Vins "Cuvée Anonyme" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Xavier Vins "Cuvée Anonyme" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are approximately 10,000 bottles of the sensational 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Anonyme, which is fashioned from an unusual blend of 25% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre, 25% Syrah and the remaining 25% Counoise, Vaccarese and other authorized varietals. Its opaque purple color is followed by a wine of extraordinary intensity. Copious notes of licorice, garrigue, underbrush, blackberries, black currants and graphite are present in this full-bodied, modern-styled, fragrant, distinctive Chateauneuf. This terrific, voluptuous 2009 should drink well young and last for 15-20 years. " (10/2011)

Bid on this magnum lot of 2003 M. Chapoutier "Le Méal" Ermitage Rouge (1.5L) (99RP, 98WS, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The best bottle I've had, the still inky-purple 2003 Ermitage le Meal was firing on all cylinders on this occasion and was certainly a match for the 2009 and 2010. Tasting like a dry vintage port, yet with no sensation of heat or alcohol, it offers an insane bouquet of cassis, cracked pepper, violets, and mint that's literally overflowing the glass. Full-bodied, uber concentrated, voluptuous and still fresh and pure, it's a heavenly example of this killer terroir that will continue to knock your socks off for another 2-3 decades. 2000 M. Chapoutier "Le Méal" Ermitage
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 M. Chapoutier "Le Méal" Ermitage (96WE, 94RP, 92ST). Wine Enthusiast: "*Cellar Selection* If the gorgeous notes of brown sugar, graham cracker and black pepper on the nose don't reel you in, what's in the mouth will. Its blackberry core is juicy without being overblown; black olives, earth, leather and even a little raspberry flesh out the flavor profile. Has a velourlike texture in the mouth; its tannins are soft enough to age well, but age it certainly needs—it's showing restraint, and will need about 10 years to reach full bloom. " (09/2003)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine de la Janasse "Chaupin" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98RP, 95ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Chaupin rivals the 2007 Chaupin (to date the best Chaupin I have yet tasted). Made from 100% Grenache (3/4 destemmed), it boasts a dense black/purple color as well as unbelievable notes of raspberries, black cherries, licorice, truffles, camphor, forest floor and garrigue. This wine is stunningly concentrated, incredibly noble, precise and expansive on the palate with mouth-saturating intensity, glycerin and extract. It is an amazing example of impeccably grown old vine Grenache translated into a natural yet full-throttle red. (RP)" (10/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Clos du Caillou "Réserve" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (100RP, 97WS, 96ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The best bottle of this I've ever had, the 2005 Châteauneuf du Pape Reserve was utter perfection on this occasion. Made from a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre that was raised mostly in demi-muids, it exhibits awesome notes of blackberry, licorice, smoked herbs, graphite and tinges of minerality. Decadent, massively full-bodied and with sweet tannin, this thrilling Châteauneuf is hard to resist now, yet should continue to knock it out of the park for another decade or more. (JD)" (02/2015)
