2010 Château Sixtine (Cuvée du Vatican) Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Château Sixtine (Cuvée du Vatican) Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96RP, 94WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chateau Sixtine Chateauneuf du Pape performed exquisitely and, again, was one of the top wines of the vintage. With better integration of the new oak than I have previously seen from Jean-Marc Diffonty, this wine's opaque ruby/purple color possesses lots of licorice, asphalt, graphite, blackberry and kirsch notes as well as hints of lavender, forest floor and garrigue. This opulent, full-bodied effort is approachable, but it will not hit its full stride for another 2-4 years. It should drink well for 15-20 years thereafter ... (RP)" (10/2012)

2007 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96RP, 95WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Vieux Telegraphe may be the greatest wine made at this property since the 2005 and 1998. Dense ruby/purple-tinged with an exquisite nose of salty sea breezes, licorice, ground pepper, jammy black cherries, black currants, figs, and plums, this is a full-bodied, rich, Provencal-styled offering with lots of sweet, ripe tannin. It is surprisingly accessible for a Vieux Telegraphe (this wine normally shuts down several years after bottling), but it should have great longevity (25+ years) given its power, full-bodied mouthfeel, and enormous length and richness. This is a brilliant effort from brothers Frederic and Daniel Brunier. 96+ (RP)" (10/2009)

2003 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage Blanc
Bid on this bottle of 2003 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage Blanc (99RP, 97VN, 97WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another sensational white that made my eyes roll back in my head, the 2003 Hermitage Blanc is even more over the top and decadent than the '09. Possessing almost no acidity, it's a flamboyant, massively concentrated, decadent and heady effort that's overflowing with notions of honey, caramelized oranges, currants, licorice and buttered hazelnuts. Staying fresh and lively, it's a monumental Hermitage Blanc that will probably live forever on its sheer concentration. (JD)" (09/2015)

Wine Spectator: "Ripe, intense and very pure, with a gorgeously polished, sleek beam of cassis, plum sauce and raspberry fruit lined with mouthwatering iron, lavender and rosemary notes. The long finish has serious cut. Best from 2015 through 2030. (JM)" (10/2014)

2011 Domaine de la Vieille Julienne "Les Hauts Lieux" Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine de la Vieille Julienne "Les Hauts Lieux" Chateauneuf-du-Pape (95RP, 93VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Coming from a higher elevation, cooler terroir and limestone soils, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Hauts Lieux is a total rock star in the vintage and checks in as a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre and the balance Counoise and Cinsault, which was aged all in foudre. Harvested very late (and this estate normally harvests on the early side) and not wrapping up until October, it possesses gorgeous purity, with mineral-tinged aromas of blackberry, currants, licorice, ground herbs and violets all soaring from the glass. An all-around powerful, structured and rich 2011, with a full-bodied mouthfeel, terrific acidity and big tannin, it will be one of the longest-lived wines in the vintage. Give it 2-3 years in the cellar, and drink bottles through 2026. Drink 2017-2026. (JD) " (10/2013)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine la Barroche "Signature" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (91RP, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Possessing a solid ruby color, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Signature is a forward, supple and sweetly fruited beauty that has lots of incense, pepper, licorice and spice in a medium to full-bodied, rounded sexy style. It's another wine that won't get much better, but should actually hold nicely in the cellar given its overall balance. Still, no need to delay gratification here. (JD)" (09/2015)

2013 Domaine Pichat "Champon's" Côte-Rôtie
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Domaine Pichat "Champon's" Côte-Rôtie (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The inky purple-colored 2013 Côte Rôtie Champon's (aged in 30% new French oak) offers classic 2013 characteristics in its fresh, crisp notes of graphite, ground pepper, violets and underbrush. Medium-bodied, pretty, focused and with fine tannin, it lacks some back-end oomph, but opens up nicely with air, has solid purity of fruit, and plenty of elegance and character. Drink it anytime over the coming decade. (JD)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine Pichat "Löss" Côte-Rôtie . Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "(Barrel Tasting) Coming from a parcel containing Loess soils (Cognet, Fongeant and Gerine), and aged 18 months in one- to two-year-old barrels, it has an earthy slant to its currant, blackberry, loamy earth and underbrush-scented bouquet. Medium-bodied, fruity and supple on the palate, it will be interesting to see how it comes together once in bottle. (JD)" (12/2015)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The inky-colored 2014 Côte Rôtie les Grandes Places is a rocking success in the vintage. Giving up tons of black fruits, scorched earth, wood smoke and crushed rock aromas and flavors, this beauty is medium-bodied, fresh and focused on the palate, with building fine tannin and juicy acidity. It will have 10-15 years of longevity. (JD)" (12/2016)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Paul Autard "La Côte Ronde" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (94RP, 93WS, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Châteanueuf de Pape Cuvée La Côte Ronde reveals a touch of toasty oak in the aromatics, but it is beautifully integrated with kirsch, roasted Provençal herb, espresso and black currant aromas. This full-throttle, masculine and rich wine possesses sweet tannins as well as good integration of structure and acidity. It is built for the long haul, yet can be drunk in 2-3 years or cellared for two decades. (RP)" (10/2012)

Chapoutier "Le Méal" Ermitage Blanc,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2010 Ermitage le Meal Blanc is pure perfection in a glass. One of the densest, most concentrated, decadent and thrilling whites I've tasted, it offers a sensational bouquet of crème caramel, caramelized peach, crushed rock and smoke. Unctuous and chewy on the palate, with awesome depth of fruit, it has thrilling purity, laser focus and a finish that just won't quit. 2009 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Réservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this bottle of 2009 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Réservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98RP, 95WS, 94WE, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The bottled 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Reservee is as compelling as I thought it would be after tasting it last year. A blend of 85% Grenache with the rest Syrah, Mourvedre and small dollops of the other authorized varietals, this wine tends to come from the estate’s holdings in the eastern sector of Chateauneuf du Pape. The opaque purple-colored 2009 exhibits magnificent, rich berry fruit intertwined with cedar, Christmas fruitcake, licorice, charcuterie, roasted meats, smoked duck, kirsch, blackberries and god knows what else. It is an amazingly complex, rich, full-throttle wine that reminds me somewhat of what the 1990 tasted like in 1994/1995. It is a magnificent Chateauneuf du Pape. If you are looking for the garrigue component, it's also there. (RP)" (10/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Auguste Clape Cornas (92WS). Wine Spectator: "This is hitting its stride now, with cherry pit and bitter orange notes framing the mulled plum, blackberry and cherry fruit, all backed by roasted olive and aged tobacco. There's still rather strident tannins that may never fully give way. The last vintage before the young vine parcels were bottled separately for the Renaissance cuvée. (JM, Web Only-2010)"

1996 Noël Verset Cornas
Bid on this bottle of 1996 Noël Verset Cornas. Vinous: "The 1996 Cornas Displays dried cherry and redcurrant aromas and flavors, with hints of musky herbs, violet and smoky minerals coming up with air. Dry and taut, with peppery spice and floral qualities sneaking in on the finish, this is no doubt on lean side, with good clarity but only modest depth and flavor intensity. It closes tight and smoky, with gentle tannic grip and a slightly vegetal touch of rhubarb lingering. This vintage chez Verset has always shown these qualities to me, going back to when it was first released. (JR)" (01/2015)
