1988 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1988 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape (93JD, 93JG). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 1988 Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape (from magnum) was gorgeous and shows the ageability of the wines of this estate and its incredible terroir. Light ruby colored and youthful, with soaring and complex notes of ripe berry fruits, white pepper, flowers and Provençal herbs, it was weightless on the palate and still had a terrific core of sweet fruit. It’s certainly fully mature, but had plenty of life. I’ve had dead bottles of this in the States, so as always with older bottles, provenance is king." (02/2018)

2010 Auguste Clape Cornas
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Auguste Clape Cornas (99RP, 97WS, 96ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I can’t say the same thing about the 2010 Cornas, as it’s crazily backwards, concentrated and structured, and needs some bottle age to round into form. Nevertheless, the incredible quality is present in its purity, focus, full-bodied richness and awesome finish. Give it another 3-4 years and enjoy it over the following 15-20 years (if not more). 99+ (JD)" (08/2014)

2007 Domaine du Clos du Caillou "Reserve les Clos du Caillou" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Domaine du Clos du Caillou "Reserve les Clos du Caillou" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98RP, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The largest scaled and most concentrated in the lineup is easily the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape La Reserve, which is 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre that was raised all in demi-muids. Just a flat out sensational bottle of wine, it offers tons of black currants, licorice, roasted meats and toasted spice aromas and flavors in a full-bodied, seamless, perfectly balanced style that’s drunk well since release. It’s great today, but has another decade or more of longevity. (JD)" (02/2017)

2006 Château Rayas Châteauneuf-du-Pape Reserve
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Château Rayas Châteauneuf-du-Pape Reserve (94ST, 93RP, 93WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium red. Vibrant strawberry, raspberry, anise and floral aromas could fill a room. Juicy and sharply delineated, offering sweet red berry and cherry preserve flavors with compelling accents of licorice, sassafras, lavender and smoky minerals. Extremely elegant wine with outstanding finishing cut and persistence. Not many grand cru Burgundies could match this for finesse. (JR)" (01/2009)

2000 Auguste Clape Cornas
Bid on this bottle of 2000 Auguste Clape Cornas (94WS, 91RP). Wine Spectator: "Gorgeous, this seemingly relies more on pure, driven plum, raspberry and cherry fruit than other vintages—until the finish takes over, where dark briar patch, sweet tapenade and mesquite notes assert themselves authoritatively. Ends with nice tension between the two sides. This should meld together a bit more slowly than the 2001. (JM, Web-2010)"

2000 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage
Bid on this bottle of 2000 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage (96RP, 95WS, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More forward, open and textured, the 2000 Hermitage is an almost promiscuous effort that’s just hard to resist. According to Jean-Louis, this wine has never shut down and has always delivered plenty of pleasure. It has classic cassis and blackberry fruit, bacon fat, violets and herbs to go with a full-bodied, layered and seamless, if not voluptuous, style on the palate. I’d line bottles up for drinking over the coming couple of years, but it should hold nicely for upward of a decade. (JD)" (08/2014)

Sappy, penetrating and pure, offering expansive black raspberry and boysenberry flavors that are lifted and sharpened by juicy acidity. Shows superb clarity and power on the finish, which is firmed by fine-grained, harmonious tannins. The balance here is remarkable. (JR)" (03/2013)

2007 Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie (94WS). Wine Spectator: "So distinctive, with fresh bay leaf, leather, pepper and tobacco notes leading the way, followed by mulled plum, currant and cherry fruit. Lots of bitter cherry and charred apple wood drive through the very long finish, which is thoroughly mouthwatering thanks to its acidity. Best from 2013 through 2025. (JM, Web Only-2012)"

2011 Thierry Allemand Cornas "Sans Soufre"
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Thierry Allemand Cornas "Sans Soufre" (93ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright purple. Dark berries, cherry, peppery spices and a whiff of violet on the highly perfumed nose. Sappy and shapely on the palate, with zesty acidity giving juiciness and spine to the supple black and blue fruit flavors. Fresh and sharply focused, finishing with firm, dusty tannins and excellent persistence. This wine will very likely have to be labeled as a Vin de Table because the powers that be have apparently decided that it is atypical of the appellation. They have a point, but I'm not sure that it's the one they are trying to make. (JR)" (03/2014)

2007 Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape (100RP, 97WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the great vintages from this estate, surpassing even the 1990, 2000, 2001, 2003, and maybe the 2010 (time will tell with this one), the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape from Vincent Avril delivers everything you could want from a wine. Full-bodied, intense and beautifully concentrated, with plenty of muscle and depth, it shows the hallmark elegance and purity of the estate, with sensational notes of kirsch liqueur, raspberries, incense, smoked meats and Asian spices. The blend is the normal 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, 10% Syrah and the rest a mix of permitted varieties, brought up all in older foudre, and it's just now entering its prime drink window and has another two decades of longevity. Bid on this magnum of 2011 Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie (1.5L) (95RP, 93JS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Looking at the 2011s from bottle, the straight Cote Rotie is a knockout effort that has soaring aromas of underbrush, herbed game, green coffee beans and white pepper to go with black cherry and blackberry-styled fruit. Medium to full-bodied, textured and layered, with fantastic precision and focus in the vintage, it should continue to shine through 2026. (JD)" (12/2013)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The elegant 2000 Vieux Telegraphe La Crau possesses 14.8% alcohol, along with a deep ruby/purple color, charming, rich, fruitiness, and firm tannin in the finish. With loads of freshness, copious quantities of pepper, seaweed, and black fruit characteristics, and a distinctive minerality, this full-bodied, sweet 2000 requires 2-3 years of cellaring; it should age well for 15-16 years. Sexy, mineral-laced black and blue fruit aromas are complemented by notes of licorice, violet and black tea. Juicy and precise, offering intense boysenberry and bitter cherry flavors and a touch of spicecake that gains strength with aeration. The floral note comes back strong on the strikingly persistent finish, which is firmed by dusty, fine-grained tannins.
