2007 Sine Qua Non "Pictures" Grenache
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Sine Qua Non "Pictures" Grenache (97RP, 95ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 87% Grenache, 11.5% Syrah, and 1.5% Viognier, this wine has wonderful floral notes intermixed with black raspberries, black cherries, licorice, graphite and some camphor. In the mouth, more white chocolate notes appear, along with meatiness and some silky tannins. Its great purity, density and richness make me think this wine could even improve a few points and flirt with perfection. (RP)" (08/2011)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Napa/Sonoma Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 94WS, 93WE, 92JS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a slightly more brooding and formidably endowed effort displaying more extract, tannin and structure. In spite of its massive size, concentration and extract, it possesses gorgeously sweet tannins as well as a sense of equilibrium. (RP)" (12/2010)

2007 David Arthur "Elevation 1147" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2007 David Arthur "Elevation 1147" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94WE, 93JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Elevation 1147 should turn out to be an ageless beauty. Its opaque ruby/purple color is followed by sweet cassis notes intermixed with graphite, charcoal, truffles and earth. Full-bodied, opulent, rich and dense, it is still extremely young, but is loaded with potential. It reveals an underlying minerality as well as a floral component (often noticeable in wines produced from these high elevation vineyards on Pritchard Hill), as well as stunning texture and length. A sensational wine, it should be forgotten for 3-4 years and drunk over the following 25-30. (RP)" (10/2010)

2007 Domaine Ramonet Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Domaine Ramonet Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru (96BH, 95WS, 93ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Given the almost extreme reticence of the Bâtard, I was moderately surprised to see how wonderfully expressive this positively brilliant wine is already. The nose is simply stunning with a supremely elegant and kaleidoscopic range of spice, floral, citrus, stone and pain grillé notes that is the perfect complement to the racy, detailed and equally complex middle weight flavors brimming with the underlying minerality advertised by the nose, all wrapped in a driving, delineated and explosive finish. As good as the Ramonet Chevalier is, in the 10 vintages that it has been made, I can't think of one where it's the equal of the Montrachet. However, 2007 just might be that vintage." (10/2009)

Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Outstanding* An overtly spiced nose adds nuance to the red berry fruit aromas laced with earth notes that merge into moderately-scaled and intense flavors that possess good volume and concentration as well as impressive persistence. The inherent breed of the appellation is quite evident." (01/2010)

2007 Abreu Howell Mountain Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Abreu Howell Mountain Bordeaux Blend (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The riveting 2007 Howell Mountain exhibits aromas of black raspberries, blueberries, crushed rocks and flowers along with full-bodied power accompanied by an ethereal delicacy and sublimity that make it a haunting wine to smell and taste. It should drink well for 25+ years. I am increasingly impressed with Abreu’s Howell Mountain Proprietary Red wine. The blend tends to be about two-thirds Cabernet Sauvignon, 20-25% Cabernet Franc and 10-15% Merlot and Petit Verdot. A completely different animal than the Cappella or Madrona Ranch (which both come from lower elevation vineyards), this cuvee reveals extraordinary notes of crushed rocks and a liqueur of minerals in a steely, full-bodied, powerful style that possesses both intensity and finesse. Bid on this magnum of 2007 Spottswoode "Family Estate Grown" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (99RP, 98JS, 95WS, 94VN, 94W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Retasting the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon was a treat as I believe it is the greatest Cabernet Sauvignon Spottswoode has ever produced. Wonderful aromas of black raspberries, blueberries, black currants and flowers jump from the glass of this dark ruby/purple-tinged Cabernet. As I have stated before, if Chateau Margaux were in Napa Valley, it would be Spottswoode. The purity, balance and delicacy of this wine are impressive. Perhaps slightly less dense and powerful than the 2008, the 2007 is flawlessly put together with nothing out of place. It, too, should age effortlessly for 20-30+ years. (RP)" (12/2010)

This is plenty ripe but quite tightly wound today, almost hard-edged on the back, thanks to superb acidity for the year. (ST)" (09/2008)

Of the 2007 Camille Giroud Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Combe au Moine",Allen Meadows - Burghound writes: "A very subtle hint of wood sets off very fresh, complex and rather sauvage red berry fruit aromas where this animale character also suffuses the richer and slightly more forward medium plus weight flavors blessed with solid dry extract levels that confer a textured mouth feel onto the less overtly mineral finish. While qualitatively similar to the Cazetiers, the two wines possess very different mouth feels and tannic structures. " (06/2007)

Of the 2012 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos",Allen Meadows - Burghound writes: "There is noticeable if discreet wood on the ripe and intensely floral nose that also reflects notes of pear, mineral reduction, white peach and algae. This is an imposingly scaled wine with its broad and muscular mouth feel that exudes a seemingly endless reserve of minerality on the almost painfully intense finish that delivers flat out amazing length. A distinct liqueur of minerals buttresses the full-bodied, massive concentration, giving an overall impression of elegance, purity, and harmony. This is another seamless tour de force in winemaking. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru (96ST, (92-95BH), 95WS, 93RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Pale yellow. Very sexy aromas of orange blossom, oily peach, pineapple and smoky lees. At once thick and bracing, with outstanding concentration and layered texture. This huge wine shows strong vanillin oak and outstanding sucrosite that no doubt had a lot to do with the fact that it only finished fermenting its sugars in December of 2008. The parcel is in Chassagne-Montrachet, but at the border with Puligny. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 95WS, 93JS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2007 Les Pavots, a Bordeaux varietal blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot, is brilliant. Its opaque purple color is accompanied by gorgeously complex aromas of melted chocolate, espresso roast, blackberries, and cassis. Full-bodied with a superb texture, a subtle note of oak, and fabulous concentration, it is more reminiscent of a Right Bank Bordeaux than one expects with this much Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. A thirty-year wine, its impeccable balance and the sweetness of its tannins make it accessible already. (RP)" (02/2010)

Of the 2006 Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos",Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "From cask, the 2006 Chablis Les Clos represents another striking contrast within this year’s R.& V. Dauvissat collection. After the welcoming richness and savory expressions of Chablis character in the Preuses, this wine displays a cool restraint and stony minerality. A fascinating wealth of floral and herbal nuances on the nose similarly infuse a mouth-filling, satiny, yet firm palate, accompanied by grapefruit, orange, gooseberry, white peach, cyanic hints of fruit pit, and chalk, and leading to a finish of extraordinary, subtle persistence. Brought up all in older foudre, it's a blockbuster, almost over-the-top, effort that gives up notes of kirsch, incense, dried flowers, spice and pepper. Of the 2007 Williams Selyem "Allen Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir,Wine Enthusiast writes: "*Cellar Selection* It’s dry and tough, with a resistance to the richness. Yet the core of flavor is enormous. Of the 2007 Zymé Valpolicella Classico Superiore,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2007 Valpolicella Classico Superiore caresses the palate with layers of silky red fruit, freshly cut roses, spices and licorice. Deceptively medium in body, the 2007 shows off gorgeous textural finesse and layer upon layer of flavor. This is flat out terrific and blessed with huge amounts of dry extract. This should age extremely well but note that it is a wine for the very patient." (04/09) 95 points Stephen Tanzer: "Good full red. An essence of Bonnes-Mares on the nose: raspberry, crushed flowers, minerals, pepper, gunflint, gingerbread and orange peel. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Raspberry and cherry with their distilled Doppelganger; pistachio and almond extract; medicinal herbal essences; and quarry dust constitute the aromatic and palate complexity of Bertheau’s 2007 Bonnes Mares. A marrow-like sense of meaty richness emerges as it takes on air, and hints of fruit pit as well as abundant fine tanning lend a (for the vintage) surprising but not unwelcome note of austerity to an impressively long finish. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa County Claret (95CG, 95RP, 94WS, 93ST). An opulent, full-bodied red with great depth, purity and richness, it is a blend of 82% Sonoma fruit and 18% Napa fruit. This brilliant estate, whose vineyards straddle the Napa/Sonoma county line at the top of Spring Mountain, continues to turn out a bevy of exciting wines that first made headlines when Bob Foley was the winemaker. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The estate’s 2007 Barolo Ginestra Vigna Casa Mate is quite a bit fresher and firmer than the Gavarini. The exuberant personality of the vintage is also a bit more balanced and restrained. This is a beautifully layered, textured Ginestra Casa Mate endowed with endless layers of dark, mineral-infused, balsamic-tinged dark fruit, all of which flow through effortlessly to a long, sumptuous finish that lasts forever. A sensational effort, it is performing even better out of bottle than it did from barrel. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Chablis Preuses – reflecting the nearly one-quarter of this site (in two parcels) that Fevre owns – immediately forces the taster into a crustacean vocabulary, with the mineral, saline, sweet, and seductively savory character of scallops and lobster shell reduction coming to mind. A superb creaminess and uncanny sense of underlying density combines with levity and subtly citric refreshment – imagine a rich, creamy shellfish stock whipped to a froth – while wafting iris perfume and the wine’s sheer extract combine for a sense of sugar-free sweetness in a soothing, sensationally long and distinctive finish. Lucky are those who can follow a few bottles of this for the next dozen or more years. (DS)" (12/2009)

Its traditional upbringing included 100% aging in old foudres. Its dense ruby/purple color is followed by a big, sweet, juicy kiss of kirsch liqueur intermixed with blacker fruits, raspberries, licorice, camphor, and hints of lavender and incense. The wine exhibits terrific concentration, full-bodied intensity, and a 45-50-second finish. This sensational Chateauneuf du Pape will benefit from another 2-3 years of bottle age, and should drink well for 15-20 years."
