2009 Abreu "Thorevilos" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC)
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Abreu "Thorevilos" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 98RP, 97VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Thorevilos displays a stunningly blue/purple color along with an exceptional nose of blueberry and blackberry liqueur intermixed with espresso, white chocolate and violets. With unbelievable intensity, a great, full-bodied mouthfeel, stunning purity, a subtle hint of wood, but no hard edges, this is one 2009 that does not have that broodingly tannic structure that is common in this vintage. This sensational effort can be drunk early on or cellared for another three decades. (RP)" (10/2013)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Cayuse "Bionic Frog" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97RP, 95WE, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Like the 2009 Cailloux, the 2009 Syrah Bionic Frog was closed aromatically, yet offered incredible depth, richness and purity on the palate. Reluctantly giving up lots of dark fruits, chocolate, mineral and roasted herbs, as well as more exotic notes of blood orange and mint, this inky colored, full-bodied, beautifully concentrated Syrah should be forgotten for 3-4 years, yet will have 20 years or more of overall longevity. 2009 J.-F. Coche Dury Meursault "Rougeots"
Bid on this bottle of 2009 J.-F. Coche Dury Meursault "Rougeots" (94RP, 94ST, 92BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Raphael served this 2009 Meursault les Rougeot blind following my tasting through his 2012s. It has a gorgeous waxy, honeysuckle bouquet with apricot blossom and fig jam aromas. It is exotic compared to the Coche-Dury style, but you won't complain. The palate is very intense with great concentration, superb acidity and layers of walnut-tinged citrus fruit that fan out wonderfully on the finish. It is a fabulous wine, one of the finest Meursault Rougeot that I have tasted from the domaine. (NM)" (06/2015)

Of the 2010 Paul Lato "Suerte - Solomon Hills Vineyard" Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2010 Pinot Noir Suerte Solomon Hills Vineyard is fabulous. It boasts tremendous richness and power in its rich, heady, dark fruit. This is a classic expression of Solomon Hills Pinot. Persistent saline notes underpin layers of juicy yet precise, nuanced fruit. The 90% new oak is a bit prominent, but the Suerte is striking juice all the same. (AG)" (08/2012)

Of the 2011 Paul Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "La Romanée",Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2011 horizontal tasting in Beaune. The Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Romanée 2011 is austere and minerally on the nose, reticent at the moment, but unfolding in the glass with great precision and intent. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Chablis Fourchaume flows across the palate with layers of grapefruit, lime, smoke and ash. The Fourchaume shows quite a bit of energy and vibrancy all the way through to the inviting, harmonious finish. I especially admire the minerality and verve here, especially when compared to the Vieilles Vignes. This is a complete, beautifully balanced wine from Vrignaud. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 95WS, 94ST, 92JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Broken Stones is sourced from all of the estate’s vineyards, which in this vintage includes Padereweski fruit for the first time, although most of the fruit was sourced from James Berry. Today it comes across as rather tightly wound and implosive, although with air the wine’s potential becomes more evident. Dark cherries, licorice and smoke wrap around the intense finish. Floral notes add the final layers of complexity and nuance. This is another fabulous effort. In 2009 the blend is 60% Syrah, 20% Mourvedre, 12% Petite Sirah and 8% Grenache. Of the 2008 Domaine Felettig Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Carrières",Allen Meadows - Burghound writes: "An elegant and attractively pure nose of primarily red berry fruit and wet stone aromas leads to intense, detailed and mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a focused and distinctly tight finish that is presently mildly austere. Of the 2009 Domaine Denis Bachelet Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Tasted out of barrel at the Domaine. The Gevrey Chambertin Village is a little reticent on the nose at first, touches bergamot inflecting the crisp dark cherry fruit, touches of limestone beginning to show through. The palate is fresh and lively on the entry, very good acidity with a sorbet-like freshness. Dark cherry, a touch of cassis and blueberry, firm backbone line the filigree finish. Excellent. 2009 Domaine Olivier Guyot Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Champeaux"
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine Olivier Guyot Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Champeaux". This wine is from Olivier Guyot. He is considered somewhat eccentric by some of his neighbors, as he has sold his tractor and gone back to horse farming his vineyards. He feels it is better for the land, and that he gets better fruit from doing so. The grapes are hand harvested, of course, and the wine is bottled without filtration. The domaine has passed from father to son since the 16th century, and the vines are 35 to 40 years old. Olivier punches the wine down 2 to 4 times per day for 14 days during fermentation to encourage maximum extraction and color. This is a big, focused Gevrey with ample flavor and color. Do not miss this exquisitely hand-crafted premier cru.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Meursault Charmes comes across as big and quite rich. Layers of fruit totally cover the palate in this textured, seamless Charmes. There is plenty of underlying minerality but the fruit is so huge it virtually covers all of the structural elements. The wine remains graceful and round through to the finish. This deep plum/garnet-colored wine offers intense berry fruit along with forest floor, spice box, earth and loads of plum, cherry and strawberry notes, moving toward darker fruits, as well as earthy, autumnal, foresty scents. This full-bodied, massive 2009 needs at least 5-6 years of bottle age. It should keep for 20-25 years. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (97RP, 94WS, 93JS, 93ST). Zinfandel, Syrah, Petit Sirah and Mourvedre are planted in separate plots but co-fermented. Layers of dark fruit meld into flowers, mint, sweet spices, menthol, eucalyptus and plums, with marvelous density and harmony. 2009 Domaine Roulot Meursault "Meix Chavaux"
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine Roulot Meursault "Meix Chavaux" (92RP, (89-91BH)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Meix Chavaux, which lies downhill from Vireuils and Luchets, has a delicate flinty nose that is nicely defined, but if truth be told, I was anticipating a little more attach and vigor. The palate has an effervescent quality about it, beautifully poised with hints of freshly sliced apricot and a squeeze of lime. There is a lovely build in the mouth that goes some way to compensating for the aromatics. Very fine. Tasted March 2013. (NM)" (06/2013)

2009 Sine Qua Non "On the Lam" White Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Sine Qua Non "On the Lam" White Blend (94ST, 93RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Vivid gold. Intense, floral-accented scents of orange zest, pit fruit and candied ginger. Powerful and broad but surprisingly energetic, offering sappy, palate-staining citrus marmalade and peach flavors lifted by tangy acidity. A suave honey note comes up with air and carries through the long, spicy finish. (JR)" (11/2011)

2009 Simon Bize Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru "Aux Vergelesses"
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Simon Bize Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru "Aux Vergelesses" ((92-94BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Outstanding* This possesses the most elegant nose among these Savigny 1ers with complex and fresh aromas of violets, plum, earth, wet stone and a smoky hint that precede rich, intense, detailed and highly energetic middle weight flavors that are shaped by the very firm tannins on the impressively persistent finish. This doesn't have quite the same level of complexity as the Talmettes but it may in time as there is ample underlying material and like many of the Bize '09s, this is unapologetically built to age." Of the 2008 Martinelli "Jackass Vineyard" Russian River Valley Zinfandel,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2008 Zinfandel Jackass Vineyard has one of those “wow” aromatic profiles. Although not saturated in color (it is dark plum/garnet), it boasts a huge nose of incense, camphor, smoked meats, herbs, forest floor and jammy strawberries as well as cherries. It is a full-bodied, dry, textured, classic, old style, “packed and stacked” Zinfandel that, despite its lofty alcohol (16.6%), is not the least bit

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Vincent Dancer Meursault 1er Cru "Les Perrieres" (92BH, (90-92ST)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Reticent nose suggests crystallized orange peel. 2009 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2009 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 97WS, 96RP, 96ST). Vinous: "Once again, the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon pays homage to the 2007, but the aromas and flavors seems to be just a touch brighter, which might just be a function of the wine's age. A wine of remarkable precision, the 2009 is totally dialed in from start to finish. Layers of intensely sweet, perfumed fruit are woven together with remarkable elegance and sheer polish. Today, the 2009 isn't quite as radiant as it has been in the past, and seems headed for a stubborn phase. It is still striking, though. Even if a bit less exotic than the 2007, the two wines share a silkiness and overall sense of textural finesse. A translucent, weightless finish rounds things out in style. The 2009 is 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot. (AG)" (12/2012)
