2010 Saxum "Heart Stone Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Saxum "Heart Stone Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (95RP, 95VN, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More dense and rich, the 2010 Heart Stone Vineyard is a co-fermented blend of 51% Syrah and 49% Grenache that comes from a small 7-acre, south-facing vineyard located on the western side of Paso Robles. Aged mostly in large oak puncheons for 20-28 months, it offers up a savory, complex bouquet of kirsch and blackberry-like fruit, meat juice, Provencal herbs, dried licorice, and dusty minerality. Gorgeous on the palate as well, with a deft, elegant texture, building richness, and layers of chewy tannin, this beauty is reasonably approachable now, yet will be even better in 2-3 years. It will drink well for 12-15 years. (JD)" (07/2014)

2014 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((95-97RP), 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Chardonnay Ritchie (the vines this year were 42 years of age) displays terrific ripeness, plenty of acidity, fabulous density, a multi-dimensional mouthfeel and a full-bodied finish. It should drink well for a decade as well.It sounds like a broken record, but Mark Aubert is certainly one of a handful of California’s finest practitioners of Burgundy-styled, classic California Chardonnays. He’s at the top of the pyramid for these extraordinary wines, and he’s not that far behind when it comes to Burgundian-styled, rich, impressive Pinot Noirs as well. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Perrières" (92BH, (89-91ST)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " A wonderfully elegant but definitely restrained to the point of being almost discreet nose of pure green fruit and acacia blossom aromas blends into the delicious, intense, refined and almost aggressively mineral flavors that are nervous and penetrating on the marvelously long finish. This is not as concentrated as the best here but the balance is impeccable and there's a real sense of flair without being showy." (07/2007)

2008 Larkmead Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Larkmead Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot aged 20 months in 60% new French oak) reveals a Medoc-like nose of cedarwood, damp earth, black currants and hints of bay leaf and unsmoked cigar tobacco. Opulence, purity and density combined with a thick, full-bodied mouthfeel and a superb finish all suggest a wine that can be drunk now or cellared for two decades. (RP)" (12/2010)

Bid on this magnum lot of 2006 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (95RP, 95ST, 93JS, 93W&S, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Vecina has turned out even better than I expected last year. Graphite/lead pencil notes intermixed with hints of burning embers and charcoal, an opaque purple color, and sweet blackberry and roasted espresso notes are all present in this wine, which is masculine, muscular, tannic, but incredibly well-endowed and a potential candidate for 30 years of aging. This wine needs 4-5 years of cellaring and should last three decades. 95+ (RP)" (12/2009)

Connoisseurs Guide: " *Three Stars, Wine of the Year in 2008* This year's version of Insignia is a stunning wine that vies for very top honors of the vintage. Its utterly enveloping aromas of perfectly ripe currants, creamy oak and dried violets are followed up in the mouth with wonderfully extracted, carefully proportioned Cabernet flavors that go on and on. The wine is lush yet solidly structured with a fine sense of balance and tannin right where it should be, and, as good as the wine will be in its youth, it will be better yet with age." (12/2008)

2002 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This fabulous wine from the eastern hillsides of northern Napa Valley, not far from the Eisele Vineyard, boasts an inky/blue/purple color as well as an extraordinary perfume of mulberries, black cherries, cassis, graphite, forest floor and charcoal, an astonishing texture, a full-bodied opulence and extraordinary richness and length. It is a modern day legend that tastes even younger than it did 7-10 years ago. These wines have an amazing ability to firm up and become even richer and more complex, which is exactly what great winemaking and terroir can do. Kudos to Jason Woodbridge for another sensational wine. For those concerned about alcohol, the label shows 15.9%, but there is not a trace of warmth in this beauty. It will last for at least another 20-25 years, perhaps longer. (RP)" (06/2012)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Coming from the estate Loess, Seven Hills and Mill Creek Upland vineyards in Walla Walla, the 2011 Merlot is a superb, plush and yet gorgeously elegant and detailed effort that boasts knockout aromatics of spring flowers, black cherry, plum, licorice and dusty mineral on the nose. Already complex and approachable, it nevertheless has full-bodied richness on the palate, as well as a supple, mouth-filling texture, juicy acidity and no hard edges. Drink it over the coming decade. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Peter Michael "Le Caprice" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95RP, 93WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Lusher, more expansive and savory, the 2012 Pinot Noir La Caprice (1,485 cases) possesses stunning richness, and is more approachable and exuberant than the 2013 with the vintage’s boisterousness and heady, intense fruit well-displayed. The color is a dense ruby/plum/purple, and the wine exhibits lots of red and blackcurrant, dark cherry and foresty notes. It, too, should drink well for 10-15 years. (RP)" (12/2014)

Of the 2004 Glaetzer "Amon-Ra" Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Deep garnet-black in color, the 2004 Amon-Ra exudes lovely dark fruit, spice box and anise notes over kirsch, creme de cassis and mincemeat, plus a savory and meaty whiff. Full-bodied, it is generous and rich in the mouth with bright acid and a medium-firm level of fine-grained tannins. It finishes long and fine. Drink it now until 2022+. (LPB) " (02/2013)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Chardonnay McCrea Vineyard exhibits a light green/gold color as well as beautiful aromas of lemon oil, tangerine rind, and subtle wood spices, zesty acidity, full body, superb concentration, and stunning length. It should evolve for 7-10 years. Kistler Vineyards, undeniably one of the world’s finest winemaking estates, is run with passionate dedication to detail and quality by Steve Kistler and Mark Bixler. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(13.6% alcohol, from a crop level of just a ton an acre, according to winemaker Ted Lemon): Good deep red. Explosive aromas of black raspberry, orange pekoe tea, bitter chocolate, pepper and spices. Dense, sweet and firmly structured, with peppery acidity giving lift to the slightly high-toned black fruit and spice flavors. Complex aromas of bay leaf, roasted herbs, black currants, loamy soil, and toasty oak, along with a medium to full-bodied, elegant finish suggest this 2005 can be enjoyed over the next 10-12 years. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 94RP, 94WE, 91WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The star of the show, the 2010 Isosceles Reserve (90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Merlot aged 21 months in 100% new French oak) is a deep, rich and muscular effort that still has some oak and tannin to integrate. Graphite, smoked dark fruits, exotic spice and sweet oak all emerge from this brilliant effort, and it hits the palate with a full-bodied, concentrated profile that carries layers of sweet tannin, solid mid-palate depth and a great finish. The tannin quality here is exceptional, and while it has no shortage of fruit, it retains a sense of elegance and balance. Give it 2-3 years in the cellar and drink it through 2025. (JD)" (10/2014)

A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot and 10% Cabernet Franc, it comes from four of Russell Bevan’s favorite vineyard sources -- Tench, Tin Box, Two Dogs and Sugarloaf Mountain. This is one of the most exciting young reds I have tasted in a long, long time. It shows intense aromas of berries, currants and minerals, with hints of mint. It is also quite powerful, perhaps even more powerful than the Demoiselles and the flavors are a bit more opulent and sumptuous with slightly lower acidity. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Domaine de la Janasse Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes (97RP, 96WE, 96WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine I’ve had more than a case of, sometimes with irregular results, the 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes was drinking about as good as it gets on this occasion. As usual, it’s made in a deeper, richer style than the Chaupin and offers thrilling texture, a smoking mid-palate and nothing but gorgeous Grenache fruit on the finish. Loaded with notions of blackberry liqueur, kirsch, fruit cake and spice, enjoy this knockout effort over the coming 2-4 years or so. (JD)" (08/2014)

2005 Culler Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Culler Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Culler’s finest effort is the brilliant 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain. A dark ruby/purple color is followed by aromas of graphite, spring flowers, blueberries, and blackberries, an enticing, multilayered texture, full-bodied power, and superb elegance, purity, and texture. This sensational mountain-styled Cabernet Sauvignon was made with excellent precision as well as freshness. It should drink beautifully for twenty years or more. Karen Culler (who also makes the wines for Wolf Family Vineyards and Ladera) fashions some impressive cuvees under her own label. (RP)" (12/2008)

Of the 2002 Domaine Faiveley Corton Grand Cru "Clos des Corton Faiveley",Vinous writes: "The same can't be said about the Faiveley's 2002 Corton Clos des Cortons, which was tight and imposing from the very first taste. Still, it was impossible to miss the wine's huge center of fruit, phenomenal balance and massive potential for the future. What a gorgeous wine!" (02/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Domaine Henri Gouges Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Les Pruliers" ((93-95RP), (88-91BH)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aromatically demure, reluctantly revealing a sweet, black mass, the dense, hugely concentrated 2002 Nuits-St.-Georges Les Pruliers is a big, bold, masculine wine. Licorice, asphalt, candied blackberries and cherries can be detected in this medium to full-bodied behemoth’s personality. Possessing broad shoulders, awesome length, and exquisitely ripened tannin, this is a candidate for drinking between 2008 and 2020. (PR)" (06/2004)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis 1er Cru "La Forest" (93ST, 92BH). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(from the first bottling) Pale green-tinged straw. Reticent but ripe and highly nuanced nose combines peach, nectarine, lime, lemon skin, nuts and an intriguing, soil-inflected vegetal/smoky quality. Very dry, taut and reserved yet already rich and mouthfilling, with the ripe fruit notes perfectly supported by a flavor of liquid stone. A wine of great energy, finishing with explosive length and powerful minerality. Grand cru size and cut. 93+ (ST)" (07/2002)

2009 Hanzell Sonoma Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Hanzell Sonoma Valley Chardonnay (95WE, 91ST, 90WS). Wine Enthusiast: " *Top 100 Cellar Selections of 2012* A tremendous Chardonnay. As always, the winery’s ’09 is bone dry, crisply acidic and minerally. You might call it austere at this point, with its tart finish of grapefruit. But a great Hanzell Chardonnay will improve for at least a decade, possible two, and this is a great Hanzell Chardonnay. The score reflects what the wine likely will be approximately eight years down the road." (02/2012)

Of the 2004 Domaine William Fevre Chablis "Les Clos" Grand Cru ,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The star of this extraordinary line-up is Domaine William Fevre’s show-stopping 2004 Chablis Les Clos (domaine). Its creamed stone aromatics are followed by a bold, muscular, powerful character. Medium to full-bodied and ample, it explodes on the palate, unleashing waves of iodine-laced minerals, white fruits, and liquefied rocks. 1998 E. Guigal "Château d'Ampuis" Côte-Rôtie
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 E. Guigal "Château d'Ampuis" Côte-Rôtie ((92-95RP), 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The extraordinary 1998 Cote Rotie Chateau d'Ampuis is more structured, powerful, and concentrated than the 1997. My ratings for the component parts ranged from a low of 90-92 for La Grande Plantee, to a high of 94-96 for La Pommiere and Pavillon Rouge. All revealed huge colors, earthy, smoky noses with bacon fat and black currants, and various degrees of tannin. This is unquestionably a vintage for patient connoisseurs as it requires cellaring. It is dense, chewy, and muscular. (RP)" (04/2002)

2006 Merry Edwards "Olivet Lane" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Merry Edwards "Olivet Lane" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (92CG, 90W&S). Connoisseurs Guide: " *Two Stars* Not unlike the Marimar wines, but more fully concentrated, this wine has always contained quite ample acidity and asked for bottle aging. Its fairly precise varietal aroma of red cherries with hints of sweet spices and a dollop of crème brûlée and slightly toasty oak puts it out ahead of the crowd, and its full and impeccably balanced palatal impressions only add to its luster. It will benefit from bottle age but does not demand overly long patience." (02/2009)

1999 Jean Michael Gerin "Les Grandes Places" Côte-Rôtie
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1999 Jean Michael Gerin "Les Grandes Places" Côte-Rôtie (95RP, 94WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The sumptuous, profound 1999 Cote Rotie Les Grandes Places (625 cases) is great stuff in an outrageously ripe, concentrated vintage. A Syrah masterpiece, this opaque purple-colored offering beautifully juxtaposes its muscle, power, and depth with considerable elegance and precision. The tannin is sweet, the acidity adequate, and the wine layered, majestically rich, full-bodied, and moderately tannic. It can be drunk now, but 3-4 years of cellaring will be beneficial. Anticipated maturity: 2004-2020. (RP)" (04/2002)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The dark-colored 1999 Volnay Les Caillerets has a stone and blackberry-scented nose. This dense, backward, dark fruit and mineral-crammed wine may ultimately surpass the Fremiets as it evolves with age. At present, it has mind-boggling depth of fruit and loads of exquisitely ripened tannin. (PR)" (06/2001)

Of the 1986 Climens, Barsac (375ml),Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "A totally compelling Climens and to my mind, every bit as good as the 1988, the 1986 is probably the best Climens made since their spectacular 1971. It is still light gold in color, with an expansive bouquet of new oak, oranges, pineapples, and other tropical fruits. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The profound, dense garnet/ruby-colored 1997 Barolo Marenca displays a spectacular bouquet of roasted espresso, kirsch liqueur, blackberries, tobacco, sardines, cedar, and leather. Sumptuous in the mouth, full-bodied, with an exotic overripe character, this dense, thick Barolo tastes sweet because of the high glycerin levels. As it was in cask, this 1997 Barolo remains dominated by its baby fat. (RP)" (01/2001)

2010 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96WS, 93VN, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection exhibits an opaque purple color, slightly more toasty oak in the aromatics, and explosive richness on the attack, mid-palate and length. The nose is slightly more restrained than in the regular bottling, but there is no doubting the Special Selection is a cut or two above the Napa bottling when it hits the palate. Extraordinary purity of fruit, creme de cassis, licorice and incense all emerge from this full-bodied, iconic classic. It can be enjoyed now and over the next 25+ years. (RP)" (10/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Sine Qua Non "Atlantis Fe203-2a,b,c" Grenache (100VN, 97RP, 95ST). Vinous: "The 2005 Grenache Atlantis Fe203-2a has been absolutely thrilling both times I have tasted it within the last year. A huge, vertical wine, Atlantis graces the palate with deep, voluptuous red fruit, crushed rocks, smoke, tobacco and mint. Even with all of its intensity and explosiveness, the wine remains light on its feet, with great balance and class to burn. The inclusion of whole clusters adds gorgeous lift and perfume, especially on the finish. At nearly ten years of age, the 2005 Grenache Atlantis is in a perfect spot right now and should continue to drink well for another 5-10 years, perhaps longer. (AG)" (07/2014)
