2012 Rhys "Swan Terrace" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Rhys "Swan Terrace" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (95RP, 94ST, 93BH, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From a steep slope located between 1,210 and 1,300 feet above sea level, the 2012 Pinot Noir Swan Terrace shows lots of whole-cluster influence in its ground pepper, black cherry, wood smoke and forest floor/autumn leaf-driven personality. Hitting the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, bright acidity and plenty of concentration and tannic grip, this is a serious, structured and Burgundian Pinot Noir from this team that has the depth and class to evolve nicely for another decade or more. 95+ points. 2014 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (98RP, 97WS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The sensationally pure and seamless 2014 James Berry Vineyard Proprietary Red (42% Grenache, 24% Mourvèdre, 21% Syrah, 8% Counoise and 5% Roussanne) was brought up in a mix of barrels and foudre, followed by six months in concrete tanks. The wine offers incredibly rich and layered notes of black raspberries, creme de cassis, crushed flowers, melted licorice and peppery herbs in its full-bodied, impeccably balanced profile. Showing the more upfront, hedonistic style of the vintage, this full-bodied beauty still has ample underlying tannin, beautiful mid-palate depth and a killer finish that keeps you coming back for more. Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is super-impressive. Pliant and generous on the palate, the 2011 offers notable depth, no hard edges and fabulous purity of fruit, all extremely rare at this level in 2011, a cold, late-ripening vintage. Then again, Dr. Crane, a valley site in St. Helena, is one of Napa Valley's top vineyards. Sweet red plum, rose petal, spice and mint wrap around the open-knit finish. (AG)" (08/2015)

2009 Huët "Clos de Bourg" Vouvray Moelleux
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Huët "Clos de Bourg" Vouvray Moelleux (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Quince and white peach preserves fill the nose caressingly coat the palate from Huet’s 2009 Vouvray Moelleux Clos du Bourg, which displays a combination of lift and delicacy with its honeyed richness that none of the present collection tasted up until this point approach. Here are brightness, energy, and efficacious acids driving the quince, pineapple, seamlessly forward. Here, too are mineral nuances too often missing from the sweet Vouvray and Montlouis of this vintage. Expect this superbly persistent bottling to be worth following for a quarter century. The 2010 reveals an exquisite bouquet of black currants, crushed blue flower, leather and baking spices. 2015 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this bottle of 2015 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((97-100RP), 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay Lauren Estate, from 17-year-old vines of primarily the Old Wente and Mt. Eden clones (but in the famous Goldridge soils that are so vital in the Russian River Valley), was the slowest to ferment, although it offers great acids, loads of nectarine and tangerine, honeysuckle, white currants, and no evidence of the 100% new oak it was aged in. This is another sensational effort, and like most Laurens will probably age for 10-15 or more years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (95RP, 94WE, 93ST, 92WS). This blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon and 36% Merlot no Petit Verdot was included in the final blend exhibits a dense purple color as well as abundant aromas of chocolate, coffee, cedar, black currants, and a subtle touch of smoke, a rich, savory, full-bodied mouthfeel, plump, fleshy fruit, and a superb finish. Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Outstanding* Though not quite as good as the '99, this is still a knock out with its intense, pure, seemingly crystalline aromas of wet minerals and white flowers followed by elegant, superbly delineated and outstanding length. This is like rolling pebbles around in your mouth. I very much like this." (07/2002)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Year in and year out, one of the three greatest Hermitages made is Chapoutier’s Le Pavillon. The black/blue-colored 2000 Ermitage Le Pavillon is brilliant out of bottle. Notes of graphite, ink, licorice, creme de cassis, and minerals jump from the glass of this syrup of Hermitage. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 The Debate "Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93JS). It is another remarkable effort from this Beckstoffer-owned vineyard. Just so you know, if Andy Beckstoffer does make Forbes’ billionaire list, he will have made it the hard way – he will have earned it. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the finest Private Reserves made over the last two decades, this phenomenal wine is obviously still an infant in terms of development, but it exhibits a dense purple color as well as an extraordinary nose of blackberries, white chocolate, licorice, tobacco leaf, smoky barbecue, charcoal and a burning ember-like note reminiscent of a Graves from Bordeaux. This is intense and powerful, but also marvelously elegant. It is a wine for those who can afford to be patient. The wine acquires darker, burnished tones in the glass. Jerome Chezeaux says the Chaumes has only begun to drink well within the last month or so. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, those whole clusters lending a little more complexity on the mid-palate. Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Don't Miss!* Here there is more aromatic breadth with a pure and enveloping nose that combines red and blue Pinot fruit plus lovely floral notes, particularly violet, before introducing rich, full and serious flavors that are detailed, fresh, powerful and distinctly austere on the impressively deep and long finish. This is a really lovely Bonnes Mares that offers a bit more elegance than normal but plenty of taut muscle as well." (01/2008)

Wine Spectator: "Sleek and well-structured, with a braid of exotic smoke, currant, green olive and herbal flavors that drape together nicely, holding a tight focus and showing how ripe, supple tannins can integrate without dominating. Finishes with a dash of mocha and spice. (2005)"

1995 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (95JS, 95RP, 95VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Bottled in June, 1997, this profound Mouton is more accessible than the more muscular 1996. A blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 19% Merlot, it reveals an opaque purple color, and reluctant aromas of cassis, truffles, coffee, licorice, and spice. In the mouth, the wine is 'great stuff,' with superb density, a full-bodied personality, rich mid-palate, and a layered, profound finish that lasts for 40+ seconds. There is outstanding purity and high tannin, but my instincts suggest this wine is lower in acidity and slightly fleshier than the brawnier, bigger 1996. Both are great efforts from Mouton-Rothschild. (RP)" (02/1998)

2008 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Clos St. Jacques" 1.5L
Bid on this magnum lot of 2008 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Clos St. Jacques" 1.5L (94ST, 92BH). 92 Points and Outstanding! from Allen Meadows: "A beautiful panoply of floral and herbal suffused red and blue pinot fruit liberally laced with ample minerality that also defines the textured and ultra pure middle weight flavors that possess excellent precision and verve on the driving and wonderfully long and linear finish." (Burghoudn 01/11) Steve Tanzer writes: "Medium red. High-pitched aromas of red cherry, raspberry, rose petal, white pepper and crushed stone. Dense and silky in texture but with great juiciness, clarity and lift thanks to piquant acidity and stony minerality. This saturates the palate with fruits and flowers yet comes off as virtually weightless. An explosive hint of pepper accentuates the impression of lift, but there's nothing green about this beauty. My style of Burgundy." (International Wine Cellar, 03/11)

2009 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this bottle of 2009 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (98RP, 97WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard is a gorgeous, clearly California version of a grand cru from Burgundy, such as Clos Saint-Denis or Clos de la Roche. This deep plum/garnet-colored wine offers intense berry fruit along with forest floor, spice box, earth and loads of plum, cherry and strawberry notes, moving toward darker fruits, as well as earthy, autumnal, foresty scents. The wine is full-bodied, with great intensity, sweet tannins and good acidity. Drink it over the next decade or more. (RP)" (08/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1996 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (98DC, 94RP, 94ST). Decanter: "This has to be one of the wines of the vintage. More deft and cedary than the bigger boned 1986 vintage (also tasted), this is light delicate and elegant. Again, ink and spice on the nose, with stunning cedar and blackcurrant fruit with a touch of undergrowth, graphite and cigar box. Beautifully fresh with sublime melting tannins. (JS)" (11/2015)

Wine Enthusiast: " *Cellar Selection* Although this wine is very firm and closed at the outset, it opens--and keeps opening in the mouth--to offer great fruit flavors. It is finely balanced, very pure, combining an ethereal character with the proper feet-in-the-soil taste of great Pinot Noir. Age for 20 years, if you can bear to wait. " (03/2007)

2002 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2002 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien (90RP, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine has completely shut down since it’s been bottled but exhibits a saturated ruby/purple color, high levels of tannin, and sweet, noble black currant fruit intermixed with some licorice, espresso roast, and pain grille. In the vernacular, it is closed for business, with medium to full body, high levels of tannin, and good acidity in a more structured, classic style than the 2003. This is a big, traditionally made wine to forget for a good 5-8 years. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2020. (RP)" (04/2005)

Of the 2005 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Possibly the youngest wine of all the 2005 Médocs in terms of its evolution, at age 10 the inky purple 2005 Pontet-Canet tastes more like a two-year-old wine. Loads of pure blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit are present along with a hint of licorice and background oak. It is full-bodied, ripe, and excruciatingly fresh, vigorous and exuberant. This is a tour de force, and a sensational effort that rivals the first growths. Give it another 5-10 years of cellaring, and drink it over the following 30-40 years. 97+ points." (06/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 96WE, 95ST, 95W&S, 93CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Still a young wine at age 12, the 2001 Insignia exhibits a dense purple color along with a sweet bouquet of camphor, blackberries, cassis, incense and spring flowers. Full-bodied, rich and heady with sweet tannin, stunning concentration and a fabulous finish, this remarkable Insignia has 25 or more years of life ahead of it. 98+ Points (RP)" (11/2013)

2005 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 93ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Les Pavots (3,600 cases of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 12% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot) is a sensational wine, with a style that suggests a hypothetical blend of a great St.-Emilion and Pomerol. Chocolatey cassis notes intermixed with incense, licorice, and a hint of black olive are present in this wine. When it hits the palate, it comes across as very Pomerol-like, with lushness, full body, and opulence. The tannins are sweet, the pH high, and the wine gorgeously full, pure, dense, and long. It’s a terrific example of non-interventionalist winemaking that has turned out a beautiful, silky-textured wine that should age effortlessly for 15+ years. Like so many 2005s, this wine has really put on weight since I tasted it last year. (RP)" (12/2007)

2011 Hudelot Noellat Romanee St. Vivant Grand Cru
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Hudelot Noellat Romanee St. Vivant Grand Cru (92ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium red. Very ripe, slightly exotic aromas of raspberry, mocha and underbrush. Highly concentrated and deep; opulent and lightly saline but a bit sullen today. Most impressive right now on the very long, slowly mounting finish, which really camps out on the palate. Vinified with 20% whole clusters but I never would have guessed it from this sample. 92+ Points" (03/2014)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Lotus, which is 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petit Verdot, was harvested much earlier, October 9-18, and aged 25 months in French oak (more than 90% new). There are only 300 cases of this wine, which has a striking floral nose with hints of licorice, burning embers, incense, blueberry and blackberry liqueur. It’s powerful, lightly tannic, extravagantly rich and a great classic from a fabulous terroir and impeccable winemaking and élevage. Drink it over the next 20+ years. (RP)" (10/2014)

Big, broad, and medium-to-full-bodied, it has satin-textured black cherries and spices that seemingly last forever in its interminable finish. This wine has great harmony, equilibrium, and balance." 2000 Lafleur, Pomerol
Bid on this bottle of 2000 Lafleur, Pomerol (100RP, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An utterly awesome wine, the only problem with the 2000 Lafleur is that I indicated its maturity window would be 2012-2040+. Based on two tastings of it, I would now argue 2020-2060+. Yes, it is that backward, but it has extraordinary potential. Dense ruby/purple to the rim, this fabulously concentrated wine has a sweet nose of kirsch liqueur intermixed with licorice and subtle floral notes as well as a hint of truffle in the background. It is stacked and packed on the attack, with a multi-dimensional mid-palate of unbelievable intensity of concentration and richness, yet at the same time all this power is allied to striking elegance, purity, and depth. This is great Bordeaux, a profound Lafleur, and in about ten years, much of its magic should begin to be unleashed. If you can find it, it is an extraordinary wine, and as expensive as it was a decade ago, it will look cheap compared to prices for

2011 Sine Qua Non "Patine - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Santa Rita Hills Grenache
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Sine Qua Non "Patine - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Santa Rita Hills Grenache (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Coming all from Manfred's Eleven Confessions Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills and a blend of 77% Grenache, 22% Syrah and 1% Viognier (fermented with 25% whole clusters), the 2011 Grenache Patine spent a full 33 months in almost all neutral oak, with just 11% being new. It offers perfumed and spice-laced notes of white pepper, black raspberry, blackberry and ground herbs that flow to a full-bodied, elegant, nicely concentrated 2011 that has nicely integrated acidity, no hard edges and a terrific finish. It's certainly one of the fresher, more elegant Grenaches from Manfred, yet it still has rocking levels of fruit. Give it 2-3 years of cellaring and enjoy bottles over the following decade. 2002 Bollinger R.D. Extra Brut Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Bollinger R.D. Extra Brut Champagne (99JS, 97W&S, 96VN, 96WS, 94BH). James Suckling: "Super fresh, this is striking given the 10 years in the cellars; it has a fine citrus nose - plenty of lemon, grapefruit, yellow chalky notes, some lighter floral elements too. The palate is super dry (dosage at 3-4g) and there's a silky, sherbet-like texture, smooth, fine and long. The citrus flavours give way to the driving surging acidity, thunderous acidity, really driving and powerful. The finish twists very slowly through to light-toasted cashew fruit flavours, but lemon citrus prevails. This is thrilling Champagne. Disgorged 22nd October, 2013. Drink from 2016." (05/2014)
