2011 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Vaudésir" (OWC)
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Vaudésir" (OWC - 94W&S, 93BH, 93RP, 92VN, 91ST) in original wood. Wine & Spirits: "Henriot’s domaine in Chablis includes three acres of vines on the steep, south-facing slopes of Vaudésir. The soils are predominantly chalky clay, mixed with Kimmeridgian limestone. The wine has the beautiful fresh scent of chamomile, a bright, pure expression of chardonnay that carries its chalky floral richness all the way through to a generous end. It’s powerful yet discreet, building layers of flavor intensity and seeming to only get fresher over the course of several days." (04/2014)

1989 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe
Bid on this bottle of 1989 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (95RP, 94JS, 93ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at Robersons’ 1989 Bordeaux horizontal. The Cos d’Estournel 1989 has a dense, broody bouquet with typical Saint Estephe earthiness complemented by hints of seaweed and a touch of ox blood. The palate is medium-bodied with firm but rounded tannins, very good weight and concentration here, fine acidity and harmony with a nice build so that its finishes with a peacocks tails of mulberry, cedar and leather. This is maturing beautifully, lovely talcum finish. Drink now-2025. Tasted June 2010. (NM-Wine Journal)" (11/2010)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Pauillac (95JS, 95RP, (92-94WE), 93ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An absolutely magnificent wine from this very popular estate, which sits well off the Route du Vin, just to the southwest of the town of Pauillac, its classic creme de cassis and floral notes are well-displayed. The wine possesses supple tannin, a full body, voluptuous character and a layered, impressively textured mouthfeel. This is a brilliant effort from Grand Puy Lacoste that can be drunk in 4-5 years or cellared for three decades or more. (RP)" (02/2013)

Of the 2006 Kistler "Cuvée Elizabeth - Bodega Headlands" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2006 Pinot Noir Bodega Headlands Cuvee Elizabeth is undeniably a grand cru effort. Black raspberry, spring flower (violets), and kirsch aromas soar from the glass of this dark ruby/purple-tinged wine. Medium to full-bodied with zesty acidity, beautiful penetration, and a soaring mid-palate as well as length result in a prodigious example of Pinot Noir that should drink well for a decade or more. 1999 Vérité "La Joie" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 1999 Vérité "La Joie" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94ST, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon and 41% Merlot (89% from Sonoma and 11% from Napa), the 1999 is a much younger wine than the 1998 and still has some upside potential. A deep ruby/purple color is followed by notes of graphite, unsmoked high class cigar tobacco, black currants and flowers. Round and generous with some tannins in the finish, it is close to full maturity and should drink well for another 15+ years. (RP)" (06/2011)

2001 Lokoya Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2001 Lokoya Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the Reverie Vineyard, the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain (475 cases produced) displays a dense purple color (that has not changed since I tasted it eight years ago) along with wonderful notes of graphite, burning embers, charcoal and sweet cassis as well as licorice. Full-bodied with excellent fruit purity, it is the most evolved and fragrant of these three wines. Drink it now or cellar it for another 15-20 years. Winemaker Chris Carpenter, who has worked for the late Jess Jackson for many years, hit pay dirt at Lokoya in nearly every vintage. Certainly these 2001s have aged magnificently over the last decade. These 100% Cabernet Sauvignons are aged for 18-22 months in 100% new French oak and are bottled with no fining or filtration. (RP)" (05/2011)

Wine Enthusiast: "Every year, this estate turns in a wine which closely rivals the neighboring Haut-Brion. This year, the rivalry is just as intense. This has sweet, ripe, beautiful fruit, delicious acidity already. But wait for the tannins to kick in." (06/2004)

Bid on this magnum lot of 2005 Blankiet "Paradise Hills Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Paradise Hills Vineyard (1,200 cases) reveals a chocolatey espresso roast note with mocha, blackberry and cassis, high tannins, but full body, superb concentration, purity, and an almost Graves-like scorched earth character. This wine needs 3-4 years of bottle age, and should last 25-30 years. (RP)" (12/2007)

1999 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 1999 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96ST, 96WE, 95WS, 94RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Full medium ruby. Superripe, deep nose offers currant, plum, black cherry, truffle, smoke, meat and cedary spices. A wine of great sweetness and flavor intensity; remarkably suave in spite of its great solidity. Offers an almost liqueur-like ripeness and great density but sound acids keep the wine lively. Palate-staining aftertaste features substantial tongue-dusting but fine tannins. As extraordinary as the nearly confectionery, more roasted Harlan Estate '97 is, this wine may well have more verve. (ST)" (05/2002)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1999 St. Innocent "Seven Springs" Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aromatically, the medium to dark ruby-colored 1999 Pinot Noir Seven Springs displays wild flower, berry, cinnamon, and a myriad of spices. It is rich, juicy, and extremely elegant. Loads of candied red fruits, mostly raspberries and cherries, are found in this ample, structured wine. 2004 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95WE, 94CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The two flagship wines of this brilliant estate, which straddles the Sonoma and Napa county lines at the top of Spring Mountain, include the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot). Sixty-eight percent of the fruit comes from Sonoma and 32% from Napa. It exhibits classic notes of creme de cassis, licorice, cedarwood, incense and a hint of toasty oak in the background. Full-bodied, opulent, profound deep, rich and full with velvety edges, the tannin can be detected, but it is wonderfully integrated in this mountain-styled Cabernet. It continues Pride’s impressive track record with these special cuvees. The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve can be drunk young or cellared for two decades or more. More nuances and complexity will undoubtedly emerge over the next 4-5 years. (RP)" (04/2014)

Of the 2014 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir,Vinous writes: "The 2014 Pinot Noir Ritchie Vineyard is bright, focused and nuanced throughout, with plenty of supporting acidity to balance the intensity of the fruit. Sweet dark cherry, lavender and cloves are all pushed forward. This is an especially linear, energetic Ritchie Pinot with everything in the right place. Grilled herbs, smoke, tobacco, licorice and menthol are all woven together in a silky, impeccably polished Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2011 stands out for its pure textural elegance and class. Sweet raspberries, mint and wild flowers linger on a perfumed, fragrant finish that turns increasingly savory and complex over time. This is a fabulous showing for the year. Bid on this magnum lot of 2014 Morlet "La Proportion Dorée" Sonoma County White Blend (1.5L) (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A perfect wine is the 2014 La Proportion Dorée, a blend of 65% Semillon, 24% Sauvignon Blanc and 1% Muscadelle. This 650-case cuvée is from 29-year-old, dry farmed vines and was barrel-fermented. The wine is absolutely out of this world. With a light greenish gold color and a killer nose of lanolin, caramelized citrus, honeysuckle, orange marmalade and candle wax, the wine displays great acidity, a magnificent, massive, full-bodied mouthfeel, and seems to come across like a Sonoma County version of a dry Haut Brion blanc. This is singular wine - profound, compelling, whatever! It should drink well for at least 10 years, if you can resist its early charms. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 La Pousse d'Or Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des 60 Ouvrées" (90BH). This does display a subtle trace of backend warmth but this is a really pretty effort and one which should reward up to a decade in the cellar." (04/2006)

Bid on this bottle of 1989 Diamond Creek "Volcanic Hill" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Al and Boots Brounstein founded Diamond Creek Vineyards in 1968. The three vineyards Brounstein planted have produced some of the most long-lived, elegant wines from the state of California, wines that make the case "that Diamond Creek is the finest producer of Cabernet Sauvignon in America," according to wine writer Pierre DuMont. This bottling comes from the eight-acre Volcanic Hill vineyard, which has ashy volcanic soils deposited by the eruption of Mt. Konocti eight million years ago. The wines from this site are Diamond Creek's longest lived, "loaded with intense ripe berry fruit, cassis, violets and a smoky richness," according to the winery.

1993 Allegrini Amarone della Valpolicella Classico (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum lot of 1993 Allegrini Amarone della Valpolicella Classico (1.5L) (92VN). Vinous: "The 1993 Amarone is simply fabulous. The 1993 is the first wine in this tasting that is fully mature. Dark cherries, spices, menthol and licorice are just some of the aromas and flavors that emerge from this gorgeous, complex Amarone. The wine still maintains considerable body and richness, but the flavors are in the full tertiary stage, and there is no additional upside to be gained through additional cellaring. The 1993 is the last vintage to have been produced along traditional lines. Maceration on the skins lasted 45 days and the wine was subsequently aged for 36 months, predominantly in large, 80-hectoliter casks. (AG)" (04/2010)

2005 Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98WS, 97RR, 95ST, 94RP). Wine Spectator: "Really tight now, but packed with dark fig, currant, espresso, licorice and chocolate notes. Superfleshy but seriously structured, there's layer after layer of sweet spice, fruit and minerality pumping through the finish, with lots of latent depth and power. Far more backward than the 2003 or 2004 on release, but since this red typically puts on weight as it ages, it should be a monster--à la the 1990--when it reaches its peak. Best from 2009 through 2030. *#1 on Top 100 of 2007, Collectibles* (JM)" (12/2007)

2002 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum lot of 2002 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (93VN, 92CG, 91WS). Vinous: "Bright, saturated ruby-red. Vibrant nose offers cassis, minerals, gunpowder and spices. Densely packed but nicely delineated, with primary, fruit-driven flavors of blackcurrant and spices. Very juicy and suave but still quite youthfully unevolved. Finishes with firm but smooth tannins. This calls for considerably more patience than the Napa Valley bottling, but even today there's a pleasing pliancy of texture. This held up extremely well in the recorked bottle. (ST)" (01/2006)

Bid on this magnum lot of 2013 Pott "The Arsenal - Greer Vineyard" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95VN, 94RP, 92WS). Vinous: "Nothing in particular stands out in the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon The Arsenal. Instead, it is the wine's overall balance that truly impresses. Lavender, mint, sweet spices and red stone fruit are all finely spun into the racy finish. Sadly, this is Pott's last vintage of The Arsenal, as proprietor Rob Greer has opted to keep all of the fruit for his own project. (AG)" (10/2015)

Bid on this magnum lot of 2013 Pott "Le Nouveau Western Star Vineyard" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95RP, 94VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A winner is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Le Nouveau Western, which is classic Napa Cabernet Sauvignon from the Starr Vineyard. Plenty of dense, blackberry and cassis fruit, licorice, graphite and foresty notes are all present in this full-bodied, opulent wine with terrific purity and length. Tannins are present, but balanced beautifully by lavish amounts of fruit and extract. Drink it over the next 20 years ... (RP)" (10/2015)

2013 Arietta "Quartet" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Arietta "Quartet" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93RP, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Arietta’s 2013 Quartet is a blend of 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot aged 21 months in 50% new French oak. Complex notes of blackberry, cherry and spice all jump from the glass of this intriguing Bordeaux blend. The wine hides its new oak well, has a dense, ruby/purple color to the rim, is refreshing, elegant and stylish, despite its obvious power and richness. This is playing it very close to the vest and needs additional bottle age. With a very juicy finish, this is promising. Drink now-2030+. (RP) 93+" (12/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Sine Qua Non "Touche - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (100RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Lastly, the utterly perfect 2012 Syrah Touche reminds me of a great vintage of Guigal’s Cote Rotie La Landonne. A blend of 93% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah and 2% Viognier, all from the Eleven Confessions Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills, it spent 40 months in 78% new French oak. Deep, concentrated, full-bodied and layered, with a multidimensional texture and to-die-for notes of camphor, cured meats, violets, smoke and assorted dark fruits, this beauty has fine, perfectly ripe tannin and blockbuster length. Give it 3-4 years and drink over the following two decades. (RP)" (08/2016)

Bid on this magnum lot of 2013 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 100RP, 98JS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Sparky, which is essentially made from clone 4 from two separate blocks, clone 6 and clone 337, is another perfect wine from the Schraders. I suppose it’s a little boring to say, and perhaps I can be accused of creating unrealistic expectations on the part of readers, but this is as great as Cabernet can be. Tasting like a first-growth Pauillac, the wine is opaque purple and has a fabulous nose of lead pencil, spring flowers, blueberry and blackberry and the telltale cassis. There is also some licorice and sweet oak, the tannins are ripe, and the wine full-bodied. Built like a skyscraper, with an incredible finish (like most of these wines) going on for 50 seconds to a minute, this amazing wine should still be drinking splendidly well at age 25 or 30. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Still a young wine at age 12, the 2001 Insignia exhibits a dense purple color along with a sweet bouquet of camphor, blackberries, cassis, incense and spring flowers. Full-bodied, rich and heady with sweet tannin, stunning concentration and a fabulous finish, this remarkable Insignia has 25 or more years of life ahead of it. 98+ Points (RP)" (11/2013)

This is the most northern vineyard of the Bond Estates, and this wine was just incredible. By far, the biggest, most backward and massive of all the 2005s, this wine behaved as if it were three or four years old, rather than ten. Dense purple, it offers notes of blueberry liqueu

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Vigna Paganelli is a phenomenal achievement and a wine that captures not only the spirit of this classic vintage, but the true essence of an age-worthy wine like Brunello. This single vineyard Riserva is sharp, pristine and immaculate. It starts slow and shy, but then blossoms to beautiful intensity and aromatic brilliance. It delivers a very authentic and genuine read of Sangiovese with wild berry aromas followed by pressed violets, wet earth, tobacco and lightly toasted spice. The bouquet is seamless and very long in persistence. The same holds true for the mouthfeel. The wine delivers a fine and silky texture with a good dose of power and personality at the rear. 98+ (ML)" (03/2016)

Rich, full-bodied, and dense, but surprisingly accessible, it is ideal for drinking over the next 15+ years. (RP)" (12/2009)
