2005 Carlisle "Tom Feeney Ranch" Russian River Valley Zinfandel
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Carlisle "Tom Feeney Ranch" Russian River Valley Zinfandel ((90-93RP), 91WS, 90CG, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " The 2005 Zinfandel Tom Feeney Ranch, which is 89% Zinfandel and 11% mixed blacks (Alicante and Petite Sirah) tips the scales at a whopping 15.9% alcohol, so Mike Officer must have picked unbelievably late in this cool year to get that kind of maturity. The wine displays some black raspberry and cherry with some underlying soil notes as well as hints of white chocolate, pepper, and spice. It is not as powerful as the Bacchi, but it is a top-flight Zinfandel. (RP)" (12/2007)

2005 Janzen (Bacio Divino) Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Janzen (Bacio Divino) Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92WE). Wine Enthusiast: "This comes from Bacio Divino, which has been crafting wines under that label for some years. The consulting winemaker was the veteran Nils Venge. The wine is dry, full-bodied and very ripe, showing classic Napa cassis flavors wrapped into superfine tannins. As good as it is, one wonders what sets it apart from all the rest." (06/2008)

Of the 1993 Matanzas Creek Sonoma Valley Merlot,Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar writes: "Deep ruby-red. Black cherry, black raspberry, coffee and spice on the nose. Sweetly oaky and stuffed with lush fruit. This shows more texture and depth than the regular bottling of '93 merlot, along with surprising pliancy for a red wine from this vintage. Finishes very long, with thoroughly buffered tannins. Very impressive. (ST)" (07/1998)

2004 Littorai "Summa" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Littorai "Summa" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Littorai derives their unique sustainable farming techniques from the fertile cross currents of permaculture, agro-ecology and the agricultural philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, the father of biodynamic farming. In addition to using only natural materials, they avoid all fertilizers. Estate produced compost is their “fertilizer” of choice. For those sites which they do not farm themselves, they use by-the-acre contracts to insure maximum quality and vineyard control, and they strongly encourage all of their farmer-partners to use only organic materials. They do not employ farm certification systems, as they believe that the true motivation for engaging in sustainable farming practices should not be for marketing purposes, but should be only for the good of the land, for the good of those who work it and for the future generations to whom it truly belongs. Summa is a 4.25-acre vineyard located across the street from

1998 Woodward Canyon Columbia Valley Merlot
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1998 Woodward Canyon Columbia Valley Merlot. This 1998 Columbia Valley merlot was produced from grapes grown by Conner Lee and Hedges vineyards located near the Columbia River in eastern Washington and Pepper Bridge vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley. The 1998 vintage was a winemaker's dream vintage. Fruit from every vineyard was left to hang in search of ever more profound maturity and physiological ripeness. the result was beautifully ripe merlot fruit with lower acid, higher pH and an average brix of 23.8. Vanilla spice from new barrels blends beautifully with concentrated merlot fruit yielding a complex, generous red wine that is drinkable now. With proper storage, this wine should be enjoyable for ten years or more.

1997 Woodward Canyon Columbia Valley Old Vines Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1997 Woodward Canyon Columbia Valley Old Vines Cabernet Sauvignon. This 1997 Columbia Valley 'Old Vines' is produced from grapes that were planted in the early 1970's. This red wine is a blend of 66.7% cabernet from Champoux vineyard, and 33.3% cabernet from Sagemoor vineyard, both situated above the Columbia River in southeastern Washington.
