2014 Eric Kent "Atoosa's Vineyard" Russian River Valley Syrah

Winemaker's Notes: "The EK Russian River Valley Syrah of the past few years has proudly grown into our newest vineyard-designated wine! Atoosa’s Vineyard now brings its own distinctive expression of Syrah to our line-up. Located on the cool southern edge of the Russian River Valley, the superb fruit from this the late-ripening spot has been adding a vital element to our Kalen’s and formed the core of our Russian River Valley Syrah since 2012. With the nexus of experience, true partnership with a great grower, and the excellent 2014 vintage, it's time to ... Read More »

2014 Fromm "La Strada" Syrah Marlborough (Previously $25)

94 points Sam Kim: "At a mere 12% alcohol, this is perfectly ripe, fragrant and inviting on the nose with black/blueberry, Black Doris plum, violet and a hint of white pepper aromas. The palate is concentrated and generously flavoured, backed by plenty of supple tannins. Youthful and instantly charming, the wine is approachable yet promises to develop magnificently. At its best: 2017 to 2028." 93 points Bob Campbell: "Bright, fresh and spicy Syrah with floral, violet, white pepper, plum and nutty oak flavours. Dry and tightly focused, offering brisk citrus and orchard fruit flavors that carry no excess weight. Finishes on a tangy note, displaying repeating florality and very good persistence." 2013 Blue Farm "Laceroni Vineyard" Russian River Chardonnay (Previously $40)

95 points Wine Enthusiast: "This wine is the product of farming by Anne Moller-Racke and winemaking by Kenneth Juhasz, the original team behind Donum Estate in Carneros. Here, they've created a gorgeous, elegant expression of lemon zest and pear that harmonizes with stony minerality and brash, bristling acidity that becomes succulent on the palate. Atop it all is a scent of fresh-cut white flowers. (VB)" 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chardonnay Laceroni Vineyard reveals loads of lemon oil, tropical citrus, subtle oak, medium to full body and great acidity and depth. 2015 Whitehall Lane "Tre Leoni" Napa Valley Red Wine

Winemaker's Notes: "This ferociously fun blend has depth, balance and big flavors. Up front, the aromas are dense blackberries, licorice, blueberry crumble and a touch of croissant. It bursts with expansive flavors of blueberries, blackberries, and mixed berry jam. This wine has great texture that ultimately finishes with round, silky smooth tannins."

Square One 100% Organic Rye Vodka (750ml) (Previously $33)

It's ideal for vodka martinis and other cocktails. Made from 100% organic rye. (KN)" (10/2016) K&L Notes: Square One is the world's first certified organic rye vodka. It is handcrafted from 100%-certified organically grown rye grown in North Dakota and produced with an unprecedented organic fermentation process. 2014 Liquid Farm "Golden Slope" Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay

94 points Vinous: "The 2014 Chardonnay Golden Slope is one of the richer, creamier wines in the range. Orange blossom, crème brulee, apricot jam and buttery notes are fused together. The Golden Slope will appeal most to readers who like more overt, flamboyant Chardonnays. Today, it is absolutely striking. (AG)" (9/2016) 93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More fresh and lively, with a tad more precision and cut than the Chardonnay Four, the 2014 Chardonnay Golden Slope offers classy notes of citrus blossom, white flowers, salt block and hints of minerality. Compass Box Oak Cross Blended Malt Whisky (750ml) (Previously $55)

Whisky Advocate: "A blend of three different single malts. Its name derives from the fact that the whisky is aged in American oak bodies with French Oak heads (a cross of both oaks). There’s no age statement, but the whiskies are all older than ten years. This is a gentle, subtly complex, somewhat lithe, easy drinking whisky (and with less oak spice than its predecessor, The Spice Tree). People think whisky is an after-dinner drink, but I think this would make a great aperitif because of its delicate dry spice notes and light body. I’m picking up evenly-proportioned notes ...Read More »

2015 Vincent & Sophie Morey Santenay "Les Gravieres" 1er Cru

90 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This possesses the most elegant nose in the range with its ripe array of pure cassis, plum liqueur, black cherry and freshly turned earth scents. The vibrant middle weight flavors possess a velvety mid-palate and good minerality on the attractively well-balanced and persistent finish. This isn't especially complex at present but the underlying material appears to be such that my rating presumes that more depth will develop with a few years of bottle age." (4/2017)

It is presently managed by Philippe Huguenot, who runs their 22 hectares of vine in Marsannay, Fixin and Gevrey (including one grand cru in the shape of Charmes-Chambertin), and under his tenure, the vines have been converted to organic viticulture that was completed in 2010. 2015 Mas Candi "Cabories" (Previously $22)

A blend of two indigenous red grapes in Sumoll and Mando, as well as an indigenous white one in Xarel-lo, this is bright, crunchy, thirst quenching red! Definitely on the "natural wine," side of things, with its low 12% alcohol and raspy, bright fruit, this cuvee from Mas Candi manages to keep it fresh and clean, without any of the pungency, animal or nutty qualities often shown by wine made without added sulphur. Delicious! Delicious. Acid forward

2014 Conundrum "25th Anniversary" California Sparkling Wine (Previously $23)

Conundrum was born 25 years ago, and today it still stands for doing things your own way and daring to explore. Its inspiration came from Charlie Wagner, Sr. – co-founder of Caymus Vineyards and father to winery owner Chuck Wagner – who would sit at the dining room table and mix wines to create the “perfect glass” to pair with his meal. At the time, blending wines was considered almost unthinkable, and even Charlie Sr. had no idea that his bold experiment would help usher in a whole new trend. The Cabernet Franc comes from the Stagecoach Vineyard. Consultant Aaron Pott said he thinks they have a magical spot for it on that large eastern Napa Valley mountain site.
