2013 AP Vin "Trick - Law Vineyard" Paso Robles Syrah (Previously $60)

We're awfully glad owner/winemaker Andrew P. Vingiello decided to shorten his name for his wine label A.P. Vin; it saves us from embarrassing spelling errors and we wouldn't want anything to come between you and finding his wines. Now offering his fourth vintage, Andrew's wines have been steadily gaining more attention and it's not hard to see why. Mentored by Brian Loring of Loring Wine Company, Andrew has built relationships with some of the top Syrah and Pinot Noir producers and growers in California. The resulting wines are a wine lover's delight.

Leopold Bros. New England Cranberry Liqueur (750ml) (Previously $40)

If you are a fan of Cosmos or Cape Codders, look no further than our decadent Cranberry Liqueur. Since we pour over three pounds of New England’s famous bog-grown cranberries into every bottle, the flavors literally jump out of the glass, to make some of the most spectacular classic cocktails you will ever have. We start by crushing two different varieties of cranberries grown mainly in the bogs of Massachusetts and Maine. Once we have extracted it, we blend the juice from the cranberries with our eau de vie, and add just a pinch of turbinado to balanc... Read More »

The Good Beer Company "Solera 198" Farmhouse Ale Blend Aged in Bourbon Barrels, California (750ml) (Previously $17)

From the brewery: "Mixed culture farmhouse ale aged solera-style in bourbon barrels. This is the second pull from our bourbon barrel solera project, which began with third hand American oak barrels that had previously held bourbon and a big chewy imperial stout from one of our neighboring breweries in Orange County. Earlier this year, we pulled half of the beer out of the barrels for the first batch of Solera (131 days) and topped up the oak barrels, resulting in a blend of old and fresh beer. Springbank 25 Year Old Campbeltown Single Malt Whisky (750ml) (Previously $800)

This is a much-anticipated new release from Springbank, the oldest independent family-owned distillery in Scotland. It's been matured in Bourbon, Sherry, and Port casks for a trifecta of deep, nuanced flavor. From the producer: "The nose is rich with a peated Port influence. It’s redolent of the dunnage warehouse in which it was matured. Fruity too, but this time berries to the fore: blackberries, cranberries, and strawberries. The Port wine influence is perfectly balanced with flavours of sherry, plum jam, blood oranges, and pink grapefruit. The finish ... Read More »

1976 Climens, Barsac (Previously $270)

92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at the Bordeaux Index’s Chateau Climens dinner, this is the best bottle of ’76 I have encountered. A very clear, lucid amber hue. The nose is just beautiful, perhaps more perfumed and floral than previous bottles with almond, apricot, white peach, passion fruit, a hint of lime leaf and quince. The palate is also more delicate than previous bottles, vibrant acidity on the entry, quite edgy, a viscous heart with a dainty, dried peach finish. Beautiful. Tasted November 2009. A base spirit of whisky is macerated with the molasses, Ceylon and Saigon cinnamons, sassafras, and sarsaparilla for four weeks to optimize color, flavor, and extract.
