2006 Viña Cobos "Bramare-Marchiori Vineyard" Malbec Mendoza
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Viña Cobos "Bramare-Marchiori Vineyard" Malbec Mendoza ((96-99RP), 92WS, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Bramare “Marchiori Vineyard” wines are from 100% estate grown fruit located in Lujan de Cuyo. The 2006 Bramare Malbec “Marchiori Vineyard”, tasted from a barrel sample, is even better than the 2005. Vintage conditions were ideal and, for the first time, Paul Hobbs stopped irrigation 12 weeks before harvest, most unusual in Mendoza’s arid conditions. There was better natural acidity with little acidulation required. The wine offers more flavor complexity, vibrancy, and aromatic lift, and sensational length. (JM)" (12/2007)

2007 Bouchard Pere & Fils Puligny-Montrachet
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Bouchard Pere & Fils Puligny-Montrachet. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Bouchard 2007 Puligny-Montrachet is based almost entirely on purchased fruit. As Prost explains, this village continues to be a prime source for grape contracts with smaller land holders, in large part simply because its high water table mitigates the likelihood of a grower having his or her own cellar. Hyacinth and ripe peach in the nose follow on a relatively delicate yet subtly creamy palate, with chalky and saline notes adding interest to a satisfyingly juicy finish. This will serve well for the next several years. (DS)" (12/2009)

2005 Viña Cobos "Bramare" Malbec Lujan de Cuyo District, Argentina
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Viña Cobos "Bramare" Malbec Lujan de Cuyo District, Argentina (93RP, 91ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Bramare Malbec was aged for 18 months in French and American oak, 46% new. It is a glass-coating opaque purple with a super-expressive nose of pain grille, spice box, violets, black cherry, and black raspberry. Full-bodied, supple-textured, and layered with flavor, it nicely conceals enough tannin to carry this showy Malbec for at least a decade. (JSM)" (12/2007)

Of the 2004 Trapiche Single Vineyard Viña Pedro Gonzalez Malbec, San Carlos, Argentina,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The single vineyard wines are each named in honor of the grape grower. The 2004 Malbec Vina Pedro Gonzalez is from El Cepillo in the San Carlos region of Mendoza. Although the vines for this wine were only 8 years old in 2004, the results say otherwise. Like its peers, this was aged for 18 months in new French oak. Inky purple-colored, it offers a superb perfume of wood smoke, toast, pencil lead, espresso, black cherry, and blackberry liqueur. Medium to full-bodied, this layered effort combines power and elegance. Smooth textured a

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The garnet-colored 2006 Mas d’En Compte Planots is a blend of 50% Garnacha and 50% Carinena sourced from a single vineyard with vines over 100 years of age. The wine spent 16 months in new French oak. It offers an alluring perfume of pain grille, crushed stone, violets, cinnamon, black cherry, and blueberry. It's a true nuevo classico with proper touches of smoked meat, herbs and sweet black fruits as well as a lush, round mouthfeel that culminates in a mile-long finish. Destined to rock your socks off. 2004 Vinoptima Estate Noble Late Harvest Gewurztraminer, New Zealand
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Vinoptima Estate Noble Late Harvest Gewurztraminer, New Zealand (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The extraordinary 2004 Gewurztraminer Noble Late Harvest is a legend in the making. Produced from six rows which Nick Nobilo left on until June, when the vines had shed their leaves, coming in at 12.8% alcohol and 117 grams residual sugar. A limpid golden color. A seductive nose of honey, fig, a touch of marmalade: more Sauternes than Alsatian in style. A viscous palate, very good acidity, a lovely melange of orange zest, honey and figs. Very harmonious, a really outstanding botrytis-affected wine that would compare with the very best Sauternes could offer! Exceptional. (NM)" (04/2008)

2007 Côte Bonneville "Carriage House-DuBrul Vineyard" Yakima Valley Washington Red
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Côte Bonneville "Carriage House-DuBrul Vineyard" Yakima Valley Washington Red (93RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Cabernet Sauvignon-based Cote Bonneville 2007 DuBrul Vineyard Carriage House – its 24% Merlot, 14% Franc scarcely differing from the blend in other vintages, since this wine represents essentially a row-selection – is one more delicious demonstration that if you can’t afford or locate bottles of this estate’s flagship you can indulge yourself with the high price-quality rapport of their other Bordeaux-inspired blend. Smoky black tea and Latakia tobacco as well as tomato foliage make for a pungent accompaniment to dried and distilled cherry on the nose, then inform a palate of admirable polish, clarity, and vivacity. Brown spices, tea, and persistently pungent herb and tobacco carry into a long and involved finish. But you’ll have to search hard to detect any obvious evidence of the two-thirds new oak in which this aged. Look fo

2000 Muga Rioja Prado Enea Gran Reserva
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2000 Muga Rioja Prado Enea Gran Reserva (92RP, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2000 Prado Enea Gran Reserva is 80% Tempranillo with the balance Garnacha, Mazuela, and Graciano. The wine is aged for one year in oak vats followed by 3 years in new French oak followed by 3 years in bottle prior to release. Dark ruby-colored, the wine’s appearance reveals a bit of age in a traditional style. It offers up a complex bouquet of cedar, pencil lead, mineral, spice box, and blackberry. 2013 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 James Berry Vineyard Proprietary Red is made from 45% Grenache, 29% Mourvedre, 18% Syrah and 8% Counoise (which Justin commented was a blend that was put together relatively late). It saw a big chunk of whole cluster (the Grenache was mostly destemmed though) and was brought up all in puncheons and foudre (the normal concrete component went to the Rocket Block). It offers up gorgeous notes of black raspberries, cherries, cassis, ground herbs and flowers. This beauty hits the palate with incredible purity, fine tannin and an overriding sense of elegance and finesse, backed up by full-bodied richness and depth. It needs to be forgotten for 3-4 years and it will drink beautifully through 2028. (JD)" (08/2016)

2015 Sine Qua Non "Entre Chien et Loup'' White Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Sine Qua Non "Entre Chien et Loup'' White Blend (97JD, 97RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Entre Chien et Loup is a blend of 44% Chardonnay, 40% Roussanne, 8% Petit Manseng and 8% Viognier coming 44% from Bien Nacido Vineyard, 30% from the Cumulus (Estate) Vineyard and 26% from the Eleven Confessions (Estate) Vineyard. No settling was done to the juices—they were fermented as 'dirty' as possible and, as usual, they were not racked. This wine was matured for around 19 months (bottled April 12, 2017), in: 19% concrete eggs, 20% stainless steel, 20% used barrels and 41% new French oak. It opens with a positively electric nose of ripe apricots, pink grapefruit and green mango with notions of candied ginger, honeycomb, allspice and baking bread. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a wonderfully satiny texture and incredible freshness, cutting through the dense tropical and stone fruit layers, finishing with epic length and many layers of

2014 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grand Cru "La Tâche"
Bid on this bottle of 2014 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grand Cru "La Tâche" (96BH, 96RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 La Tâche Grand Cru was picked on 17, 18 and 20 September at 32 hectoliters per hectare, bottled between 1 and 25 April 2016. It has a quite startling bouquet: dark berry fruit, bay leaf, hints of jasmine tea and autumn leaves. It delivers multi-faceted aromatics, a mercurial bouquet, brown spices emerging with continued aeration in the glass. It is a tad more forward than I expected. The palate is medium-bodied with great structure and fine grip. This is a slightly more masculine La Tâche and replicating its performance in barrel, the fruit spectrum shimmies from red to black (incidentally, exactly as I observed when I tasted it in barrel). There is a lovely lift on the finish that leaves you with a piquant kiss on the cheek. This is wonderful. (NM)" (02/2017)

Bid on this 3L-bottle of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (3L) (96RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. It is so good now, why wait? Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP, (93-96ST), 96VN, 95WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The classic 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon included fruit from the 2-acre, old vine parcel that is nearly 70 years of age. It boasts an opaque purple color as well as copious notes of spring flowers, blackberries, black raspberries and wet rocks. The wine’s gravelly minerality and spectacular opulence and density make it an instant classic. This massive, full-bodied 2012 should drink beautifully for 15-20+ years. 1982 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1982 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (100JS, 100RP, 98ST, 98WS, 97DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine remains one of the legends of Bordeaux. It has thrown off the backward, youthful style that existed during its first 25 years of life, and over the last 4-5 years has developed such secondary nuances as cedar and spice box. The creme de cassis, underlying floral note, full-bodied power, extraordinary purity, multilayered texture, and finish of over a minute are a showcase for what this Chateau accomplished in 1982. The wine is still amazingly youthful, vibrant, and pure. It appears capable of remaining fruity and vibrant in 2082! Thank God it is beginning to budge, as I would like to drink most of my supply before I kick the bucket. This is a great, still youthful wine, and, on occasion, one does understand the hierarchy of Bordeaux chateaux when you see the complexity and brilliance of this first-growth. Bid on this bottle of 2000 Moët & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Rosé Champagne (1.5L) (96JS, 96RP, 96VN, 95BH, 94JG, 94WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2000 Dom Perignon Rose is a flashy, ripe Champagne that screams Pinot to a degree I have never encountered in another vintage of this wine. A dark, intense color leads to a Chambolle-like nose followed by endless red berries, flowers and spices, all backed up with plenty of muscle, richness and density. The wine continues to blossom on the palate, with utterly beguiling detail, clarity and polish, all qualities that resonate on the rich, expansive finish. The 2000 Dom Perignon Rose is 45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir, of which 25% is still Pinot. Geoffroy says his goal was to make a statement with the 2000 Dom Perignon Rose; he has done that?and so much more. In fact, the 2000 seems to signal a stylistic shift towards a more important, serious style of rose. This superb wine is not to be missed, but readers should note this is no

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2015 Canon, St-Emilion (100JS, 100RP, 100VN, 98JD, 97WE, 97WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Canon was a benchmark wine that seemed to revitalize this historic estate. I was crossing my fingers that it would not disappoint in bottle and I am glad to say that it delivers the goods. It has a very intense bouquet (just as it showed out of barrel) with laser-like precision offering wild strawberry, raspberry preserve, wet limestone and hints of truffle. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, clean and fresh with pure black and red fruit whose every atom appears infused with minerals. The mouth is tingling long after the wine has exited and your brain is thinking...when is the next sip coming? The bouquet is pure, complex and absolutely stunning in its youthful magnificence, offering up notes of black cherries, black plums, a stunning base of minerality, a potpourri of botanicals, a touch of gamebird, graphite, incipient notes of the autumnal elements to come, a touch of youthful stems and a refined framing of new wood. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and light on its feet, with a sappy core, great transparency, moderate, beautifully integrated tannins and a long, tangy and still fairly youthful finish. It shows the powerful grace of good winemaking, showcasing the appellation's beauty and brawn from a warm, even year. (VB)" (09/2016)

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2010 Merry Edwards "Coopersmith" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (1.5L) (95WE, 94CG, 90BH, 90WS). Wine Enthusiast: "This shows Merry Edwards’ signature of exceptional deliciousness and drinkability, coupled with seemingly neverending depth. Made using fruit sourced from the winery’s vineyard in the cooler southwestern part of the valley, near Sebastopol, this is rich in acids and soft tannins, but the flavors set it apart. Notes of raspberry, cherry, cola, tea, licorice, pepper and sandalwood abound and evolve with every sip. Drink now–2018. " (03/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Kistler "Cuvée Cathleen" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay (96RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The top cuvée, the 2012 Chardonnay Cuvée Cathleen, comes from the Kistler Vineyard and is essentially a selection of the best barrels. As you can imagine, it's similar to the Kistler Vineyard, with many of the same aromatic and flavor components, just slightly more intense and perhaps a trifle longer. Both of these Kistler Vineyard cuvées are spectacular Chardonnays to drink over the next 5-8 years. (RP)" (01/2015)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Kosta Browne "Garys' Vineyard" Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir (95RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the top examples I was able to taste from this terrific vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands, the 2014 Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard is a big, rich, concentrated effort that gives up full-bodied notes of savory herbs, scrub brush, black currants and the classic savory, earthy and mineral characteristics that this site is known for. Fermented with 25% whole clusters, it has lots of texture, lots of tannin, and lots of length. It's a smokin' wine to drink anytime over the coming 10-12 years. (JD)" (09/2016)

1981 Heitz Cellars "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 1981 Heitz Cellars "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JG). John Gilman: "The 1981 Martha’s Vineyard is an absolute classic vintage at its peak of maturity. The deep and very beautiful nose soars from the glass in a mix of red and black cherries, raw cocoa, eucalyptus, cigar smoke, cloves, new saddle leather, allspice and just a touch of cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very, very soil-driven, with tangy acids, melted tannins and absolutely perfect focus and balance on the brilliantly long finish. I cannot recall the 1981 Martha’s Vineyard having the reputation as one of the great vintages of this bottling, but this is clearly one of the legends." (06/2011)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Syrah James Berry Vineyard Bone Rock is the star of the show in 2012. Borderline perfection, it has straight up awesome notes of black and blue fruits, pepper, crushed violets and searing chalky minerality that shows on both the nose and palate. Full-bodied, seamless and elegant, it's a stacked, concentrated, layered Syrah that never puts a foot wrong. Give it 2-4 years and enjoy bottles through 2032. (JD)" (08/2015)

Of the 2007 Ridge Vineyards "Geyserville" Sonoma County Zinfandel,Vinous writes: "The 2007 Zinfandel Geyserville shows just how compelling the wines from this site can be with a little time in bottle. Just starting to show the first signs of aromatic complexity, otherwise the 2007 shows very few signs of its age. The raciness of the fruit suggests a riper year, yet the wine is quite youthful. Ripe, creamy and generous, yet medium-bodied and refined on the palate, the 2007 is inviting from the very first taste. It should drink well for the next decade or so. There is no way I would have guessed this wine's age had I tasted it blind. The sweet r

Of the 2015 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Giving up zingy lemon zest and grapefruit notes with layer upon layer of chalk dust, marzipan, honeyed brioche and ginger plus a touch of coriander seed, the 2015 Chardonnay UV-SL has a full-bodied powerhouse of a palate that delivers the goods and then some. 2005 Bodegas Muga "Prado Enea" Gran Reserva Rioja
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Bodegas Muga "Prado Enea" Gran Reserva Rioja (95RP, 94ST, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I posted the eternal question about 2004 versus 2005 when tasting the 2004 Prado Enea. Instead of answering the question, they reached for a bottle of the 2005 Prado Enea Gran Reserva to check what is happening. The nose is almost as young and undeveloped as the 2004, but it's on the palate where I see that the 2005 shows a little more polish and is perhaps a little less complete than the 2004. In any case, it might be a matter of personal taste, because both years are exceptional. Here, the oak seems more evident. So, today I preferred the 2004. (LG)" (02/2018)

2012 Sea Smoke "Ten" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2012 Sea Smoke "Ten" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (1.5L) (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A much bigger, richer Pinot Noir, the 2012 Pinot Noir Ten is a cellar selection chosen with the focus on structure and richness. Brought up in 65% new French oak, it has sensational purity and depth in its sweet black raspberry, crushed violets, spice and subtle oak aromas and flavors. These all carry over to the palate where the wine is full-bodied, concentrated and textured, with notable tannic grip. It's another wine from this estate that deliver tons of flavor authority while never seeming heavy, cumbersome or over the top. I wish more estates would make wine in this style. (JD)" (08/2015)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Catena Zapata "Argentino" Malbec Mendoza (97RP, 95VN, 94WS, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Argentino Malbec is a blend of the Nicasia and Adrianna cuvees. Since I have been tasting the Catena wines, this has generally been my preference because it seems to have an extra dimension of complexity. So it is with the 2007 vintage. The Argentino offers a similar aromatic and flavor profile, but with just a bit of extra nuance. It will be most enjoyable to taste these 3 wines side-by-side in another 10 years (or, to be truthful, at any time). (JM)" (12/2010)

Lots of underlying acidity extends the racy finish, with echoes of minerality, while the dark, muscular fruit expands in the glass, showing a weight and dimension that sets this apart. Best from 2010 through 2022. (JM)" (10/2009)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Torbreck "Factor" Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia (99RP, 96JH, 93ST, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Remarkably, the 2002 The Factor may be even more awesome than the 2001. It boasts a blackberry liqueur-like intensity with chocolatey richness intermixed with blackberries, raspberries, and cherries. The unctuous texture, refreshing acidity, and sweet tannin frame-up this magnificent wine. It should drink well for 15+ years. Interestingly, the 2002 The Factor did not have the Cote Rotie-like roasted element found in the 2001, no doubt because 2002 was a much cooler growing year than the record heat experienced in 2001. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine I've been lucky enough to have multiple times recently, the 2012 Ermitage les Greffieux is a full-bodied, deeply fruited, concentrated and blockbuster effort that's stays elegant, polished and balanced. Exhibiting incredible amounts of bloody meat, olive tapenade, campfire and sweet, expansive fruit, it needs 4-5 years in the cellar, and will drink nicely through 2034. (JD)" (12/2014)

Greatness is suggested by a wonderfully sweet mid-section, gorgeous purity, and this humongous wine's overall symmetry. It also possesses sumptuous layers of concentration, remarkably sweet tannin, low acidity, and a 40+ second finish. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2040. (RP)" (01/2000)

Purple/black colored, it has a brooding bouquet of spice box, toasty oak, mineral, espresso, black currant, and blueberry. Bid on this 3-half-bottle lot of 2008 Zind-Humbrecht Rotenberg Pinot Gris Sélection de Grains Nobles Alsace (375ml) (96RP, 96ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Orange liqueur, vanilla, nutmeg, white raisin, musk, and smoky black tea on the nose of Zind-Humbrecht’s 2008 Pinot Gris Rotenberg Selection de Grains Nobles reprise multifacetedly on a palate that exhibits an uncanny alliance of creaminess with riveting refreshment, and on which nearly 200 grams of residual sugar comes off as in no way overly sweet. Full-bodied and rich yet not overly so, it has refreshingly crisp acid and firm grainy tannins texturing the long spicy finish. Bid on this bottle of 2013 Cirq "Bootlegger's Hill" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96RP, 95WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The first vintage from this vineyard, the utterly sensational 694-case 2013 Pinot Noir Bootlegger's Hill was completely destemmed and was brought up in 55% new French oak, with a small part in concrete egg. Offering incredible notes of creme de cassis and black currants, with beautifully integrated oak, it has medium to full-bodied richness, a seamless, layered, ultra-pure texture, fine tannin and a flat out awesome finish. Bid on this bottle of 2005 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90CG). Connoisseurs Guide: "Almost sure to raise controversy with its involving aromas of leather, roasted coffee, scorched chocolate and herbs, this unique offering smacks ever so faintly of Syrah and may not fit the fruity Cabernet model, but its complexity is beyond any argument. It is smooth and supple in feel with plenty of palatal weight and a fine sense of polish, and its neatly fit spine of firm structural tannins is precisely the stuff of fine Cabernet.
