2013 Bedrock Wine Company "Carlisle Vineyard" Russian River Valley Zinfandel

91-93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From Mike Officer’s estate home vineyard (which has over 40 different varietals planted – amazing in an era where marketing “geniuses” advise monovarietal wines), the 2013 Zinfandel Carlisle is a big, spicy, meaty, Mediterranean-styled wine (350 cases produced). Full-bodied with lots of raspberry, blackberry and currant fruit, terrific intensity, a multidimensional texture, and an opulent finish, it can be enjoyed over the next 4-6 years. 2015 Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis

91 points John Gilman: "Over the years, I have had some beautiful bottles of Chablis villages from Domaine Dauvissat, but the 2015 may well be the best yet! The wine jumps from the glass in a vibrant blend of lemon, apple, pink grapefruit, superb minerality, beeswax and a topnote of white lilies. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very racy in personality (particularly for a 2015!), with a fine core, superb backend minerality and a long, zesty finish that is already showing the first hints of the candied lemon peel that will arrive with bottle age. 2012 Bedrock Wine Company "Kamen Vineyard" Moon Mountain Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon

93-95 points Vinous: "An addition to the range this year, Bedrock's 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Kamen Vineyard captures the essence of this rugged, hillside site in the new Moon Mountain AVA. Graphite, iron, black fruit, savory herbs and dried flowers all jump from the glass. Today, the 2012 is showing beautifully, but there is plenty of structure to support years of very fine drinking. This is the first year Bedrock has worked with fruit from Kamen, the vineyard owned by Robert Kamen and farmed by Phil Coturri. 2012 Turley "Judge Bell" Amador Valley Zinfandel

92 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(15.9% alcohol; from a vineyard planted in 1907): Captivating, complex perfume of musky raspberry, coffee, sage and wild herbs; communicates an impression of garrigue (this vineyard is actually surrounded by open land). At once dense and juicy, with lovely purity and a high pitch to its briary red berry, herb and spice flavors. Strong acidity accentuates the impression of dryness. Finishes juicy, tight and complex, with firm dusty tannins. A rather Old World style, and with considerable potential for improvement in bottle." Addictively beautiful and inviting, the Via Nuova is endowed with a super-classic, mid-weight feel, knock-out aromatics and fabulous overall balance. 1984 Jordan Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine Spectator: "Supple and smooth, marked by the characteristic Alexander Valley herbal aroma. Velvety texture, with chocolate, cherry and green olive flavors. Well-balanced and attractive." (6/1988) K&L Notes: From the winery: "Rob Davis recalls, 'Tom Jordan loved the 1984 vintage. We used a higher proportion of French oak to build the structure and less American oak to avoid diminishing the fruit aroma.'"

2013 Bedrock Wine Company "Kamen Vineyard" Moon Mountain Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon

92-94 points Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Kamen Vineyard, from site designed with modern, tight spacing, is a fascinating contrast to the Montecillo, where the spacing is classic old California. Here the flavors are dark, rich and powerful, with tons of voluptuousness and intensity. This is the last year of the Kamen Cabernet for Bedrock. (AG)" (1/2015) 91-93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Kamen Vineyard was aged in 75% Taransaud and Darnajou French oak. 2012 Bedrock Wine Company "Hudson Vineyard T'n'S Blocks" Carneros Syrah

93-95 points Vinous: "The 2012 Syrah Hudson Vineyard South T'n'S-Blocks displays gorgeous purity in its aromas and flavors. Bright red fruit, flowers, mint, licorice and violets are all very much alive in the glass. The Hudson is built on a serious core of fruit. Today, it is a real stunner for so many reasons, including its exceptional overall balance. The 2012 should drink well for a number of years. This juicy, vibrant Zinfandel has more than enough depth to drink nicely for a number of years. (AG)" (12/2012) 90 points Vinous: "Turley's 2011 Zinfandel Duarte is all about texture. Mocha, plums, spices, leather and licorice notes flesh out in a wine that shows surprising depth and volume in this vintage. A creamy, expressive finish rounds things out nicely. 1985 Faiveley Latricies-Chambertin Grand Cru

92 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Some bricking. The nose is a complex mixture of Gevrey earth, spice, game, underbrush and an evident nose of minerality followed by powerful, intense and still moderately structured flavors with plenty of punch and length. The finish is still firm though by no means hard and while this is certainly approachable now, I would give it 45 minutes or so of air. Note: another recent bottle was similar in character but did not possess the same degree of freshness and in particular, the finish seemed somewhat light and diffuse." The delicious, racy and lightly mineral-inflected flavors possess an attractive mouth feel while delivering fine depth and length in the context of what is typical for the genre. This is quite dry for the vintage and worth a look." 2013 Turley "Rattlesnake Ridge" Howell Mountain Petite Syrah

96 points Vinous: "The 2013 Petite Syrah Rattlesnake Ridge shows just how compelling Petite can be up here on Howell Mountain. The bouquet alone is incredibly enticing. Graphite, blueberry jam, cloves, menthol, lavender and liquefied rocks form an incredibly appealing fabric of aromas, flavors and textures. Inky and unctuous, with exceptional textural finesse, the 2013 simply has it all. The fruit remains incredibly primary, so the 2013 is probably best cellared, but it is breathtakingly beautiful, even in its youth. A stunner of a wine." (4/2006) 90 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium red. Enticing aromas of redcurrant, musky chocolate, white pepper and sexy oak. The site is planted with an assortment of red grapes including Negrette, Zinfandel, Mondeuse, Petite Sirah and Carignane, but what comes through most is the unmistakable silkiness of Oakville. It is a dark, powerful wine bursting with plums, espresso, mocha, sweet French oak and licorice, all of which come together in a powerful, virile style. Layers of black fruit build effortlessly towards the opulent, caressing finish. Despite the wine’s richness, there is excellent underlying structure.
