2007 Lafaurie-Peyraguey, Sauternes (375ml)

94 points and an Editors' Choice, Wine Enthusiast: "A beautifully ripe wine, layered with the richest fruit, the acidity offering a bright moment within the richness. Botrytis is there, like a hard core for the pillow of ripe apricots, lychees, spice and fine freshness." (06/10) 93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Lafaurie-Peyraguey has fulfilled all my expectations since its impressive primeur showing. It is has a light, succinct nose with white peach, pear, apple-blossom and a touch of chalk dust. Good definition, although it needs a li... Read More »

2010 Lilian Ladouys, St-Estèphe

94 points Wine Enthusiast: "Obviously wood-aged, with a smoky toast flavor, this is a wine that shows the power of Saint-Estèphe tannins in full force. At the same time, there is a blackberry character that adds richness and juiciness, which cuts through the dry core. Age for at least 7–8 years." (2/2013) 90-91 points James Suckling: "This is soft and velvety, with blueberry and blackberry aromas. Full body, with round tannins and a long finish. A rich and almost jammy wine. Plenty going on here!" (4/2011) 89 points Wine Spectator: "Features firm chalk and charcoal notes along the edges, with a mix of crushed plum and red currant fruit at th ...Read More »

2014 David & Nadia "Aristargos" White Blend Swartland

92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Aristargos is a blend of 35% Chenin Blanc, 23% Roussanne, 15% Clairette Blanche, 19% Viognier and 8% Semillon. It has a captivating bouquet with lanolin, pressed flower and subtle nectarine aromas. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, lively and vibrant with nuanced fresh ginger and lemongrass notes that impart a judicious spiciness towards the finish. The 2014 was excellent and this might be even better." (4/2017) 91 points Vinous: "Bright yellow. 2009 Villars, Fronsac

89 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Opaque purple-colored, this is a relatively structured, tightly knit wine that offers up notes of crushed rocks, black raspberries and hints of black currant and underbrush. It is structured, masculine and medium to full-bodied, with some moderate tannins that still need to be resolved. Forget it for 2-3 years and drink it over the following decade. (89+)" (2/2012) 89 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Purple ruby. Sexy aromas of dark plum and cassis complicated by vanilla and minerals. (BS)" (2/2015) 92-94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Meursault 1er Cru les Perrières has an attractive austerity on the nose, well defined, and actually capturing the essence of Perrières better than some of the more famous producers. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 21 months in 66% new French oak. This vineyard is a south-facing micro-terroir with lots of rocks, and the wine smells of mountain garrigue intermixed with black cherry, blackberry and cassis. This is intense and very powerful, pushing the limits of flor aging to the limit. Suffice to say, it was completely different and much more representative. Here the 2009 displays a wonderful bouquet of honeysuckle, almond and a hint of creme caramel that is beautifully defined.
