First, a bit of background:
"This is traditional recipe from Thomas Bernard-Reymond's Grand Father. Thomas hand picks the flowers from the Ecrin National Park, one of the few producers permitted to do so. He produces two tiny batches each year and has specifically decided to remain true to the original recipe rather than expand at the expense of quality. This is truly one of the highest quality alpine liqueurs available on the market. Only 5500 liters are produced annually."
This is one of the most complex and delicious liqueurs that I've ever had! It's floral with notes of lavender, herbal with rosemary and spearmint, and viscous and nectar-like with out being cloying on the finish (not even a little...). There's a sprig of wormwood twig in each bottle to keep every thing happy. Addictive!
