Since my first sip of very expensive Copertino years ago, I have been searching for another solid Copertino that I can afford. My search ended a few weeks ago when I drank the Cantina Sociale Copertino. It’s incredible, I can’t believe the value of this wine. Made using the funky grape Negroamaro, this wine is full of earthy-meaty goodness, leather, spice box, plum and figs. Complex, earthy, and robust very reminiscent of my first delicious glass of Copertino.
