Mid crimson. Strong beef-extract aromas. Mid intensity and nicely polished tannins. Very savoury finish -- not a hint of sweetness here. Sturdy. Drink 2017 - 2025.

Ruby-red. Lovely lift to the pure aromas of strawberry, red cherry, violet and mint. Creamy and gently ripe, with sweet flavors similar to the aromas. The moderately long finish features rising tannins. This delicious wine will provide uncomplicated early-term drinking.
88-91 points, Neil Martin: " Dark ruby/purple in colour, the Puy-Blanquet has a pointed, lifted bouquet with touches of cassis, blueberry and violet. Very tight and linear at the moment. The palate is not complex with slightly gritty tannins, a touch of hardness that should dissipate by the time of bottling. It mellows nicely with aeration with a slightly tinny finish. Fine.
