This is very impressive wine. About as Bordelaise a wine as I have ever tasted in Argentina. In fact, if you enjoy Bordeaux as well as Argentine wine, then this would be right in your wheelhouse as it demonstrates the very best qualities of both regions: from Bordeaux, the modern winemaking, polished tannin structure and elegance and from Mendoza, the rich, ripe, intense fruit. Produced from about a third each of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc (100 year old, pre-phylloxera vines) and Merlot, there is no denying this wine’s impressive fruit, firmly structured backbone and ageability; you may, however, taste it and decide it’s great now with a quick decant and a grilled ribeye. If you're looking for new exciting Argentine wine, or simply a rich, fruit forward, Bordeaux inspired blend, then this is it.
