2010 Jean-Paul & Benoit Droin Chablis
Allen Meadows - Burghound
A classic nose of green fruit and oyster shells gives way to rich, intense and agreeably racy middle weight flavors that possess a fine minerality on the minerally, pure and linear finish. Like the Petit Chablis, this is worth a look as it offers very good quality at this level.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
I very much like the way the 2010 Chablis resonates on the palate with notable energy. White pears, green apples, white flowers and crushed rocks meld together in the glass. In 2010, the Chablis is effortless, gracious and totally impeccable. A crystalline finish rounds things out in style. This is a great introduction to the vintage and an equally compelling example of just how delicious the entry-level wines can be in 2010. Anticipated maturity: 2012+.

Yellow-green. Fresh citrus and floral scents and flavors. Classic dry village wine with a limey edge giving grip to the finish. Five grams of acidity here, according to Droin.
