1997 Sociando-Mallet, Haut-Médoc (Pre-Arrival)

SKU #199764 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

This excellent effort displays a dark ruby color as well as sweet, jammy fruit, moderate elegance, copious cassis flavors, and a medium-bodied, soft, low acid finish. It is one of the few Sociando-Mallets with flavor and concentration that can actually be drunk young. (4/2000)

Wine Spectator

Very well done. Beautiful nose of ripe berry and raspberry with a smoky undertone. Medium- to full-bodied, with silky tannins, medium finish. Slightly hollow center palate. (1/2000)
