Soleil's 2005 displays a gaudy bouquet of black currant fruit and roasted Provencal herbs, a fat, fleshy texture, decent acidity, and sweet tannin. Consume it over the next 5-6 years. (RP)

Bright, deep red. Wild aromas of black raspberry, mocha and truffle. Lush and sweet if a bit simple, with flavors of sweet raspberry, mocha and truffle. Finishes with plenty of tannic spine, but the tannins arrive late.
Offers gorgeous plum and blackberry character, with hints of flowers. Full-bodied, with supersilky tannins and a long, caressing finish. Shows mineral and fresh flowers as well. Very pretty. Best after 2012. (Web-2008)
