Sliced plums with hints of lavender on the nose. Full body, with fine tannins and delicious finish. Love the aromas and delicacy to this wine. Hard not to drink it now.

The 2010 Bolgheri Campo al Mare bursts from the glass with bold, juicy blackberries, tar, smoke, licorice and leather. There is a sense of juiciness paired with expressive inner perfume that makes the 2010 quite appealing, even at this early stage. Floral notes add an attractive upper register on the finish. The 2010 is 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018.
Tones of leather, tobacco and wild mushroom are followed by accents of ripe fruit and blackberry preserves. Notes of rum cake, licorice and Indian spice give complexity to this blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
Aromatic and supple, exhibiting black cherry, plum, cedar and tobacco flavors. The tannins are ripe and well-integrated, offering support on the finish. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2018. (Web-2013)
