Prévoteau-Perrier Brut Rosé Champagne (1.5L)

SKU #1140370

Champagne is always best from magnum, and this rosé bottle will make you the star of the party. It is made with the same base wine as the Brut Tradition that we also carry; 50% Meunier, 35% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay, but they add about 10% red wine to give it the rosé aromatics, flavor and color. This red wine is from old plots in Damery in the western valley of the Marne and is mostly Pinot Noir with a touch of Meunier. The Prevoteau-Perrier Rosé has a pretty salmon-pink color and lovely fresh bread and red cherry aromatics. It is very easy to drink, but has some serious savory complexity if you take the time to search for it. It finishes crisp and dry. (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne buyer)

Nothing beats showing up to a party with a magnum of rose Champagne... Everybody wants some! Over the weekend we enjoyed this in the backyard with friends who were over for a little Sunday dinner party. It has the friendly appeal of red cherry fruit but plenty of vinous intrigue to stand up to a wide range of foods. If you like rose, don't miss it!
