2011 Bio Vio Riviera Ligure di Ponente Vermentino

SKU #1130957

The winery has been producing grapes in the sunny hinterland of Albenga since time immemorial and, starting from the year 2000 harvest, they have begun to make their own wine. Within a few years - thanks to the excellent quality obtained - the wines have become very popular with the best wine shops and restaurants in Liguria and beyond. The Vermentino variety does particularly well planted in proximity to the sea, from where it takes its saline character. This amber-yellow grape yields a wine of clear gold with green highlights, elegantly aromatic and fragrant with hints of sage and rosemary notes as well as tropical fruit tones. Firm acids support the palate, very dry with peachy fruit and saline minerality.
