Bright ruby. Aromas of black cherry, raspberry, licorice, dried flowers and coffee are currently a bit stunted by oak. Sweet and rather soft on entry, then nicely stuffed with energetic red fruit and earthy flavors in the middle. The broad finish features some slightly drying oak tannins and a repeating note of coffee.
