SKU #1118052

This bottling of 100% Jacquère is hand-harvested and aged on fine lees before bottling. The nose rings of mineral and citrus fruit which repeat on the palate with pineapple, meyer lemon, and elderberry. From the importer: "In 1988, Frederic Giachino took over his family‚Äôs very small estate of 1.5 hectares and over time has grown it to 7 hectares. Although the domaine had been worked before his arrival using traditional viticultural techniques, Frederic took the big step to convert the estate to use all organic practices. This continues today with no use of any synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers." 11% abv.

This crisp white from the Savoie is made exclusively from the Jacquere varietal and shows surprising creaminess and texture for its light 11% abv frame. The tangy lemon-lime aromas and flavors are snappy and refreshing, and fleshiness on the midpalate makes this a great pairing for fondue. Try it with traditional Swiss raclette or experiment with other cheeses. This is also quite quaffable on its own!
