2011 Domaine Lafage "Cuvee Centenaire" Cotes-du-Roussillon Blanc

SKU #1117845 91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Lafage’s Grenache blend 2011 Cotes du Roussillon Cuvee Centenaire – this year incorporating a bit of Roussanne – displays primary juiciness of pineapple, grapefruit and honeydew melon garlanded with musky narcissus and peony and delivering all the invigoration and vibrancy you could ask for by way of tingling pineapple core; piquant lime peel; a light dusting of white pepper; and what I can stretch metaphors to call a crystalline, shimmering sense of mineral impingement. Look for this mind-boggling value to reward through at least 2015. (DS) (1/2014)

K&L Notes

80% Grenache Blanc and 20% Roussanne.
