1792 Ridgemont Reserve K&L Exclusive Single Barrel Bourbon 750ml (ships as a 1.5L)

SKU #1095552

(NOTE: Due to the size of the bottle, the shipping costs will be higher) We've been tasting great things ever since the Sazerac Company took over the old Tom Moore Distillery in Kentucky. Their restructuring has lead to the amazing 1792 Ridgemont Reserve, one of the more round, easy-drinking whiskies in the business. We were so impressed with the quality, we asked them to ship us some barrel samples so that we might pick out our own exclusive cask. It didn't take long for us to make up our mind. One cask was simply delicious and we knew that, when coupled with the bargain price tag, this Bourbon was going to turn some heads. While most of our casks have catered to the big, rich, wooded profile lovers, this Bourbon couldn't be more different. Soft, light, very fruity, and easy to drink, this is a summer Bourbon just in time for summer! Be careful! You could easily put away a bottle of this with friends on a warm afternoon. I know from experience. (David Driscoll, K&L Spirits Buyer)

Driscoll picked out a nice one here. The 1792 Ridgemont Reserve has always been considered a fine whiskey and it remains the Kentucky Bourbon Festivals official "toasting" bourbon. The Barton Distillery where it's made is on the site of the old Tom Moore Distillery which began in 1879. This single barrel exemplifies the distillery style perfect. Soft, supple, easy drinking bourbon that almost anyone could appreciate. Considering this is dated 8 years it's a great deal!

- When people consider domestic wine, they normally think about the state of California. The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality. But there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon, Washington and New York are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world.
